How would a paper wallet be HD and why would you ever want that? Sweep the wallet. Don't leave any change. That's not secure and not how bitcoin transactions should be going down. I use bit address all the time but yes a segwit address would be great. I'll be looking into the link posted. Looks promising.

Better use different wallet except for Coinbase, or any non-centralized wallet like blockchain, mycelium, electrum this wallet doesn't ask any personal information like what coinbase did. Like what above post said, once the site(you mentioned for an online service) you use is the same wallet like yours (Coinbase) they can see your Name or other information from you.
I think you mean bitcoin core, mycelium, electrum. Blockchain.info is 100% centralized and has deplorable security. Never use a web wallet. They're so much easier to lose money from. Just follow the link in my signature and all of your problems will disappear

I think you have heard a few stories of people making millions and you naively think that could be you. It's like any business or stock, if you buy in at the beginning and take a huge risk it could really pay off. I never would have invested any money into bitcoins because I never had money to invest so I would never have "gotten rich" from bitcoins. I'm happy with how they're going so far though. 25x from when I started.

"This has privacy issues, meaning I can view all of your addresses and see how many coins you have, which addresses you're sending them to and which addresses you received them from.
It could also potentially open you up to a replay attack. e.g I ask you to pay me 1 BTC. I run a man in the middle attack meaning all your requests go through a computer I control before getting to Coinomi (this is possible because they aren't using SSL). I can then choose to stop the payment getting through. I say, I didn't get the payment. You can verify on the blockchain and in your client that the payment really hasn't gone through. You send it again and I receive the payment. Then at a later date I can re-send the original payment I captured which is still a valid transaction and I will receive another payment of 1BTC." Woah that just blew my mind. I had no idea man-in-the-middle attacks could even happen with bitcoin transactions! Holy crap this is like getting DDOSed right at the wrong moment to screw you over and steal your bitcoins.

Why not just give us the gist of what your idea is? That way we can tell you if it's already been done. It's a big world so sometimes what seems like an amazing original idea ends up being an idea someone else had a while ago and it doesn't pan out.

I think it's smart to expand your target market like this. I hope it's all legitimate and ready to go though. The 0% maker fee sounds awesome and I'll be trying this out.

What a Scam!! SCAM ALEART! I just purchase $20 playstation network card this morning. I contacted the support, but no response. I already waited 9 hours! I haven't recieve a thing or get a reply from their support. I will update if anything happens.
Lol you maybe just jumped the gun just a teenie tiny bit there right? You do understand that this is a 3+ year old business? If the service is slow that's one thing, but this site is not a scam.

We're making an amazing recovery. I honestly can't believe it. We'll be back to the ATH in a few weeks at this rate. I love how bitcoins are always going up in value until major fud, a big crash, then they always creep up again. That's how you know we're rock solid.

Well would you own a token in the end or stock? If you're going along with all regulations how would you even be able to offer a token rather than a stock? I'd be interested but I'm not American so it probably wouldn't affect me.

Wait I have only used coinbase once and it went terribly. You have to wait 160 days to raise your limits? What the hell does that mean? If I say I have 100k they say "see you after your limits are increased over a period of 6 months" ? Seriously? I get it for credit cards but if you're wiring why would they ever put these weird rules into play?

Erm no offence but why would you bother posging this here? 50-100BTC is possible to buy, although it will be in small bits at a time, but every week!? You just need to go with an exchange or it's going to be a huge pain in your ass to constantly get these.

This is one giant eyeroll honestly. We get it, you own a gambling website. This isn't exactly changing people's minds about gambling lol. Lots of people here gamble and those that don't won't we swayed by a study from Boston U. I can find studies that support lots of things, but it doesn't mean it won't ruin your life when you can't stop. When someone is giving you grief for gambling, it's because you dragged them into your mess and you probably ruined their life too. Maybe point them in the right direction and stop being a degenerate. http://www.psychguides.com/guides/compulsive-gambling-symptoms-causes-and-effects/Drinking is totally fine. Being an alcoholic is an illness. Just like gambling. Rebuttal?

Lol bring on the forks. Don't sell right when it comes out, wait until some dumbass pumps it then sell sell sell! I'm so glad I sold my BCH at over 0.2BTC each! They aren't even half that now. Piece of crap altcoin garbage haha. Anyone can fork off of bitcoin, it doesn't make it worth anything.

I just can't spend my bitcoins. It's almost a compulsion at this point. I'm just saving them all for later and no matter what someone throws out there it is not worth spending them. Maybe if you get 20% off something you really want already, but that's kind of far fetched. Why wouldn't they just buy bitcoins themselves?

Chinese exchanges were forced to hand over KYC data to regulators. I would not be surprised if Chinese Govt now tries to rob BTC from people, this is 1934 gold ban reloaded, PBOC trying to get their hands on cheap coinz. BTC = Gold 2.0 Check out my other post about the similarities. I am not surprised at all, something like that has been expected since the dawn of time and introduction of p2p decentralized digital currency. The only way BTC can be accepted as a mainstream payment method is when it will be castrated to bring it in line with other payment methods. I would rather see bitcoin thriving and blooming and not anonymous than destroyed and used only as underground payment option. Yeah in the end everyone will use it differently. Some will use it to avoid taxes and others will use it and pay taxes legitimately. It's all dependant on your morals and ethics (also the country you live in of course).

I wondered how long it would take until some pretty major scams started coming out of the woodworks. I feel sorry for these people that unknowingly supplied their faces for a scam ICO. Also, I'm not exactly a God damn poet when I speak but holy shit this guy has no clue how to speak English. Just my 2 Satoshis.

Bitcoin will technically exist even if only a handful of people use them. If that's the case they'll be worthless but they won't be "gone". It would have to be something utterly majorly better that came out in order to compete with bitcoins and just take over (which clearly no infinite supply shitcoin like eth is going to take over).

It's a new currency. Why would you think everywhere you live would accept something that they have either never heard of or they just don't know much about? You just need to educate people more on what bitcoins are.

Well where weren't you trying to send the funds? Bitcoin cash wallet 1bitcoixxxxxxn has the same private key as the bitcoin cash address 1bitcoixxxxxxn. If you know who you weren't sending bitcoins to, then they have your bitcoin cash. You can ask for them back but depending where you sent them they may be gone forever now.

5% of your portfolio is a good start and 60-80% would be the top I would suggest. That would be a little high for you I'm sure since you're just starting out.
It's hard for me to wrap my head around because I really didn't invest money, I just earned bitcoins over the years. Investing fiat just seems.. Strange to me. I know it's not but I just don't have fiat to invest because earning bitcoins is how I use my time.
