501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 06:03:25 PM
The very first sentence says it all "I’ve never quite understood why cryptocurrencies are worth anything". Definitely, not an opinion people here would care.

Why there are still writers write a subject they don't fully understand?  ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌

502  Other / Meta / Re: Users PAM:111 on: July 29, 2021, 08:11:22 AM
I do not know what relevance it may have, but at least it is curious how certain users reach the number 111:

504  Economy / Services / Re: Any active SEO/Backlink services here? on: July 29, 2021, 06:38:10 AM
I have two crypto-related websites if that's the niche you're looking for, also tech-related blog, but of course, with content is much better than just a backlink insertion on previously published articles. Feel free to pm me.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to avoid gambling addictions on: July 28, 2021, 08:18:16 PM
Spend lesser or limited time with your computer/device on gambling websites and be more active irl activities, more time with your families can help imo.

The more time you stay on your computer screens the more you get distracted to gamble and spend money, and you should avoid that. Practice self discipline.
506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Attacks To Be Aware In 2021 on: July 28, 2021, 07:52:29 PM
Phishing and social engineering is a hell out effective to lure and scam people in cryptocurrency, its the easiest and cost effective for them as well.
Even non-newbie could be fooled as well, that's why it's always good to have knowledge in such cases to prevent future attacks and losses.
507  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Autocash.live Ponzi Project on: July 28, 2021, 07:42:20 PM
Done my part reporting the website, hopefully no one has fallen for this Ponzi schem because that just means that the scammers takes the win which ends up with them already alright abandoning the project and at the same time they can start another scheme on a different name.
That's the reason, why I don't report ponzi websites since its easy for them to make a new one like they don't bother whether some of their websites got suspended.
And I thought most newbies know what ponzi is and should be avoided that's why I only report phishing websites which can still fool people esp. newbies. But still thanks for reporting though it could still help.
508  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tracking Down Scammer known as Dr Moriarty/Grant Millar/Black Lilac on: July 28, 2021, 07:29:47 PM
I'm trying to pull together information on him, to help verify whether he is currently running a new scamming operation..
It could be very hard to track user if he use another new name on new project. Especially to a place that only uses a username.

Is there any info/proof that will prove that the person behind those projects and names are only a single person?
509  Economy / Services / Re: Blockchain.com clone with custom API on: July 28, 2021, 04:19:07 AM
You mean the trust wallet website, not blockchain.com? Is there any bug bounty made for this if this is out of bugs? Or you just copy the whole front-end of the website?

But, anyway, seems this clone is really made to fool people, not for real wallet service business.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Puts Down Bitcoin Use Rumor on: July 27, 2021, 07:31:47 PM
Guess what, still many buys the rumor and probably one of the reasons or the main reason why bitcoin rose from 30k~ish to 40k. Though they just announce about the denial, yet it barely affects the price.

Though it might be good for traders/holders now, yet this does not change that fomo/fud came from rumors still have huge impact to the price of bitcoin or cryptocurrency, be true or fake news.
511  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance decreased withdrawal limits for basic verified users. on: July 27, 2021, 06:37:50 PM
They're talking about the security of their users in relation to this which quietly I don't understand.

To support the ongoing security of all Binance users, new withdrawal limits will be established for those who have completed only Basic Account Verification. [...]

Anyway, they're probably pressured to be regulated as financial inst on other countries or maybe in every country they operated.
512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do you believe on signals? on: July 26, 2021, 02:48:36 PM
Most of these signal group has only one purpose, to make of use their listeners for their scheme (pump and dump) while the owners/leaders/admin of the group gains profit.

Most newbies fall for this. And no one could predict the price, just a guessing game with common price range, it also based on the current trend/news.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 25, 2021, 06:08:53 PM
Good news if this is really true.

And probably this will be going a similar hype to tesla months ago, just not sure if it will be the same as tesla who reverses their decision later on, but I have guess it will be the same having their own reasons, and maybe before selling their holdings.

While Tesla changing it's decision to accept bitcoin again. It's good that this giant companies trying to start adopting bitcoin but not unitl they start manipulating the market.

515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial] How To Access Bitcointalk using TOR Browser on: July 25, 2021, 12:55:51 PM
[...] but, if you already log in using chrome or firefox now, just go to step 2 to get code - https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php
then copy the code into TOR.
This is the most important thing to easily bypass the captcha in tor, even using firefox/chrome in the first time use since the captcha is sometimes annoying (probably mostly), I guess this is a worth mentioning in the OP to prevent this:

I know your problem is captcha, when successful login in 5 minutes
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you accept hackers’ Bitcoin donations to charitable organizations? on: July 24, 2021, 08:04:00 PM
Speaking of hacker's funds, tumblers/mixers like chipmixer and other trusted mixers can easily bypass those "flow of bitcoin" for monitoring in blockchain.

And there's no way it can track. Besides charity donations are at risk of money laundering whether using cryptocurrency or fiat.
517  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Tesla dogecoin fake airdrop website including bbc news fake website on: July 24, 2021, 07:02:07 PM
And to get the Facebook page suspended, we should report to Facebook itself.
Yes, I did it too, but I don't know if they're experiencing the penalty now coz I didn't see any posts on that facebook page now (I just visited it btw.) Hoping it will be take down too, coz even there are lots of warning online on how to avoid scams, I guess those are still not enough since there lots people getting scammed.
518  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Tesla dogecoin fake airdrop website including bbc news fake website on: July 23, 2021, 02:11:00 PM
So far the muskreturn[dot]com cannot be accessed right now, but its not yet suspended (I guess, since there's no message of it which usually the case when a particular domain is suspended) and the bbcnews clone is now just a dull single page website, hoping the other domain will be next.
519  Other / Meta / Re: If Bitcoin crashes would this forum still exist? on: July 22, 2021, 07:06:04 PM
This forum exists before bitcoin have its very first usd value, price crashed more than anyone could count and it affects nothing towards the forum.

And this forum will still remain even there's no company/services do signature campaigns, though I doubt that, not unless theymos completely disabled signatures. The development & technical discussion board will be it's witness.
520  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Tesla dogecoin fake airdrop website including bbc news fake website on: July 22, 2021, 03:59:17 PM
Welp, the website still up and running. It might be good if it will be reported to namecheap and shutdown to avoid any more victims, since there are stills lots of newbie and non-newbies who still believe such scheme in the internet.

EDIT: I just submitted a report to both websites on namecheap, hope it got suspended soon.
