Lesnar and Mir, what a banger that was...different times for MMA. I am really surprised about the Tate Nunez numbers, I can't really remember the fight at all, I would guess that with the current political situation, that Namajunas vs Weili would bring in bigger numbers. Well, so much for my predictions..
Brock Lesnar is the first MMA superstar and he was able to attract many fans globally along with the WWE fans and the UFC came into my radar during that period when Brock Lesnar was facing Frank Mir and it was the biggest even for a very long time until Conor McGregor came along and rewrote everything about PPV and viewership and Ronda Rousey also played a huge role in attracting Women to the sport.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 16, 2021, 07:13:08 PM

I think Manny will remain an underdog even on the actual fight, lots of Americans will bet on Spence as he is the younger and the bigger guy, and champion as well. We believe in our countryman and since he is a "pambansang kamao",  we should support him no matter what.
May be Manny Pacquiao is a heavy underdog because Errol Spence Jr is from US and he is young and every odd makers think that he is going to win easily and there is a reason for that because is getting old and he might not be performing at his best at this age. I understand that you are from Philippines and i would like hear from you about his political career.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 16, 2021, 06:14:52 PM
When it comes to T20, you cannot predict the winner easily based upon past performances and specially when it is about India & Pakistan Match, no team is weaker on the day. Not sure the match will be one sided or competitive, but one thing is for sure that they hype will be unstoppable.
It is a rare event we see matches between India and Pakistan and World Cup is the only place they face each other and that is the hype they are getting whenever they face each other, i am not a fan of mixing politics with sports and ICC should take some strong position on this which is highly unlikely .

Pakistan started well against England and if they can set a good total then we will see an entertaining match up, anything around 8 runs per over England will easily chance them.

So, while O'Malley won that fight, and quite convincingly, everyone thought he was going to put him away very early, probably most predicting first round. Thiago, at least has some experience, and I know the guy can throw a punch. So, I'm always cautious with these types of fights, especially on accumulators. Thiago must be the biggest underdog on the card, right?
I thought that Sean O'Malley would stop the fight easily and that his opponent was a short time replacement who was not ranked and there is no way anyone could expect an upset but Kris Moutinho was tough enough that he lasted 3 rounds with him and so is the reason Kris Moutinho won the bonus because it was a good fight while it lasted even though majority thought it would end earlier.

West Indies will give all us surprise in T20 world cup. See the performance of this team in the T20 matches against Australia. West Indies have won last three T20 Matches against Australia which shows the form the current team is in. If they could perform a similar manner in the world cup, they could be one of the favorites for the cup.
I do not doubt the capability of West Indies to lift the World Cup, when they first won the World Cup i never expected them to lift the cup but i still remember the last over smashing of Carlos Brathwaite when i thought there is no way they are not going to win. They have T20 specialist players and their only challenge will be England and India can be a challenge because of home town advantage.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 14, 2021, 08:01:06 PM
The first one is probably where new investors knew crypto. Being one of the most richest man in the world could make you really think that he could change your life in just a single tweet. His influence have gone so far that dumbs newbies going wreckless go to where he tweets. Let me add one that I also experience as a newbie in crypto and got me a big loss:
  • NEVER EVER FOLLOW A WHALE TG GROUP
All you hear from these so called whale groups is to shill for the projects they take money, everything is promotion in the market and these groups will take couple of hundred bucks to shill your project and if it is a big group the amount will increase accordingly and never ever take anyone else's advice and invest money.

You need to do your own research and the problem i see in the cryptocurrency market is that everyone learns after getting these lessons and not even think about logic before falling into these traps.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: July 14, 2021, 05:59:04 PM
This is a good token, I'm sure it will be the next 100x after ETH and BNB, not even a year UNISWAP has entered rank 10, and I don't hesitate to invest in UNISWAP tokens because the performance continues to improve.
The future of Uniswap depends upon how Ethereum would handle their scaling issues, there are many promises regarding their upgrades and if the fees goes down then people will start using Uniswap if not people are migrating to BSC chain and PancakeSwap, if the ETH problems are sorted then we might see the price rallying and personally i might invest considering how the improvements in ETH is going.

The catch here is that West Indies is strongest when they play in the T20 format. Because their team is full of T20 specialists - Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle and Shimron Hetmyer to name a few. It is always going to be a tough task to take on West Indies in this format. On the other hand, Australia is weakest while playing the T20 format. And to make matters worse, this time they were lacking the services of their T20 specialists. Three matches remain, but going with the current form I don't think that Australia will be able to make a comeback.
Australia can still bounce back and win matches and West Indies are not consistent with their performance even though they have some of the biggest players in the T20 format and we have seen that in the series against South Africa where they started with huge promises but in the end lost the match and the series draining off anyone who placed a bet on West Indies to win the series.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 12, 2021, 08:54:14 PM
Babar Azam in the top order is somewhat consistent, but the same can't be said about the other players such as Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq. Babar Azam played county cricket last year, and that seems to have helped him. The other Pakistani players can also consider this option. Playing county cricket will give them valuable experience and it will get them acclimatized to the SENA conditions. Because I am regularly noticing some of the Pakistani batsmen having issues in surfaces that support seam movement.
Babar Azam is a consistent performer but i cannot remember a match where he performed in this series and if he fails to perform the entire team will struggle, they need to have consistent players to perform better outside the subcontinent and they have PSL and they need to find players that can perform well and play consistently rather than performing once in a blue-moon .
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: July 12, 2021, 08:26:49 PM
Well as people have been saying for months, Tether is crap, and the entire price of all crypto is traded in Tether, which just happens to have a CAP of $63Billion USD, but only has $2B of real assets ( aka cash )

So right now they just lost $3B ( now $60B ) that means if the first to leave already got their 'cash', then there is no cash left for the bag-holders ( HODLer's )
There is no debate about the crap sentiment of USDT, i am expecting the market to get a huge shock when everything started falling because the entire market was dominated by USDT for a long time and even if they are not trustworthy people are still trading with them and the volume is really high. My only wish is that i do not want to see the market burn because of USDT now, let them enjoy the perks for a while before it burns  Grin.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 12, 2021, 06:31:44 PM
~
In my opinion, you misunderstood this news. Vietnam is not switching to cryptocurrency. The central bank was tasked with introducing its central bank stablecoin over the next two years. I This is already done in most states and the government of this country does not want to lag behind the trend in the global financial system. This news has nothing to do with cryptocurrency directly.
The headline might be the reason everyone is commenting without reading the actual content  Cheesy. So if the central bank is tasked with introducing its central bank a stablecoin in the next two years, they are planning to come out with their version of stable currency by their central bank and if they can complete the project and release in the next two years it would be great.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the London hard fork will lead to a recovery in the crypto asset ma on: July 12, 2021, 06:11:39 PM
After the 5.19 plummet, entering July, the market gradually came out of the downturn, the price of defi assets generally rose, and the circulation of stablecoins on the chain also showed an upward trend. Will the upcoming Ethereum London hard fork upgrade on the 8.4th be one of the driving forces for the market to rise?
Do you think that the market will rally because of Ethereum hard fork and if that happens it will be the first time the market started rising because of an altcoin and i really do not think that the market will move because of this as historically the market movement depends upon the Bitcoin market and there are further upgrades coming in Bitcoin as well, so you never know what will happen in the next few months.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 12, 2021, 05:02:59 PM
the USA has a big influence on cryptocurrencies, of course, the price will drop drastically if banned on crypto is enforced there. but fortunately, so far that hasn't happened because the US definitely still sees great potential in cryptocurrencies.
You cannot conduct ICO, IDO or even allow gambling sites to accept US citizens and do you think that those projects price have crashed, the market will move on despite some countries banning them and there is no way US is going to ban Bitcoin even if they take the step to crush the rest of them because many companies have invested millions and they are not stupid enough to crush every business.
534  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lost bitcoins in a hack from bitcoin.com and bittrex.com on: July 12, 2021, 12:28:42 PM
Lost bitcoins in a hack from bitcoin.com and bittrex.com. Can I get them back? I tried to contact both of these support channels/emails but they say they can't help me. Can anybody help me? I am ready to share some of the money after you get them back to me. I am ready to share the wallet address and transaction ids over chat.
How you lost the coins, it is not clear how you end up loosing your coins in two exchanges simultaneously must be the issue from your side, check your laptop for viruses and if that is the situation, the exchange might not compensate you if you have not enabled any security features especially 2 factor authentication, if you already enabled those security features then the chances of a hack are really low.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: July 12, 2021, 09:55:04 AM
It might be difficult for me to live without BTC, because for about 3 years I have known crypto, I have made a lot of profit, so I can buy what I want and fulfill my daily needs.
The basic reason why everyone is attracted to the cryptocurrency market is the hope of making money in a short period of time and it is a possibility and i would like to see a time when people actually start using them rather than hoarding the coins, even i am a culprit as i do hold but i am using them whenever i am doing purchases online.

1 - this forum was created thanks to bitcoin (see impact this forum brings)

2 - there are dozens exchanges that were created thanks to bitcoin

3 - there are dozens of online casinos that were created thanks to bitcoin
No doubt there is a trillion dollar market world wide dealing in cryptocurrencies that employees thousands and many new businesses revolves around the cryptocurrency market.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much did you earn from airdrop? on: July 12, 2021, 08:16:16 AM
I think the results you get from the airdrop depend on the effort you put in, when you can do all the tasks given, then you can get a lot of results, the luck factor is the main problem for airdrop seekers, lastly I got as much money from the airdrop as $100.
It depends upon the project, for a while i did consider staking as drops and there were times the returns were immense and even now i am staking a few coins, when it comes to pure airdrops i doubt there is anything that will earn you something as majority are dust transactions, but i started attending few AMA sessions of new projects and started winning giveaways and if you are following good projects it will reap you good rewards.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China might really be out of Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: July 11, 2021, 09:39:08 PM
Sooner or later, however, a similar situation with an almost complete ban on the use of cryptocurrencies by the Chinese government had to happen. Previously, the Chinese government was in no hurry, but now they are preparing to launch their digitized yuan and this is pushing them to take measures to eliminate all possible competitors of their digitized currency.
The launch of their digitized Yuan might be one of the reason, but for me they have a complete dictatorial government and they do not like to give their citizen any privacy in any form and they do not want them to have financial freedom and hence they are trying their best to restrict in its roots.

On the other hand, to be constantly dependent on the possible provocations of this government and to have a constant source of bad information, something had to be done about it. It is better to solve this problem earlier and finally, than it could appear at the most inopportune moment.
Everyone is really sick of these news whenever the market is rallying but i do not think these specific news is solely responsible for the market correction and we have used them as an excuse Grin.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s time is now on: July 11, 2021, 08:28:20 PM
This year bitcoin marked its ATH value, it has got increased usage and users. By the time it has provided the newcomers the opportunity to invest. The price got crashed for different reasons, but this is really good time to invest on bitcoin. The price has reached low and now it is close to $34000. In my opinion if it cross $34000 gaining resistance the next price to stabilize is around $37000.
The market cannot rally for months, we already rallied for months and the price even touched around $63k and you cannot expect the market to rally without having any corrections, even now the market is really high for anyone who has seen the market for the past one year and still everyone is complaining about the market which means they are either new or they have no idea about market correction Tongue.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: July 11, 2021, 06:54:15 PM
I don't think every government is smart enough to know about bitcoin instantly as they did and banning it or at least trying to ban it and only the ignorant people were the victim of this  fear caused by the government to panic sell bitcoin and another crypto, and then government buys a chunk or crypto and removes the ban and people cannot complain about it, this is quite retarded and proves the point "A fool is bound to lose the money and continues losing it without learning anything"
The extreme steps taken by some of the governments jumping in to ban the entire cryptocurrency market is childish and the reason is because they do not understand the cryptocurrency market and they make their decision from hear say rather than having someone who understands the market. I am hoping that these foolish government would learn from their mistakes and overturn their decisions when the developed world accepts Bitcoin.

540  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 11, 2021, 05:53:30 PM
Two days past and we are in the same position, the market right now is $33,944 and the price broke $33500 two days back and it is still struggling to gain momentum, there is nothing wrong with the concept because i am also not expecting the market to rally all of a sudden, but we had a huge rally for months and everyone was happy without any complaints other than the random FUD, have patience and the market will move up.
