What would be the more practical providers then ?
That would largely depend on services available in your country. Swift and Revolut are available world wide, if I'm not mistaken. In my country we can also use Zelle (which is marginally safer than PayPal,) Strike (which is fairly safe but limited,) and TransferWise. There are others, but those are the ones I've used. The thing is If I buy locally I end up paying 7% premium as my country sucks.
That does suck. I don't know what country you're in, but take a look at this table put together by the Bisq team, it might list your country and available services: https://bisq.wiki/Payment_methods#Fiat_payment_methods

At least the title race has hotted up a bit. City have two games in hand still so they'll probably over take Arsenal soon enough. Fulham and West Ham are their next two fixtures but they've still got the Champions League to contend with as well.
That was a heartbreaking loss for the Gunners. I based my prediction more on hope than expectations, but hey, it's not like I've ever claimed I'm not biased. I'm hoping City's hectic schedule with the Champions League will cause them to drop a couple of matches in PL, and the Gunners can get their shit together for the remaining matches. Their last three outings have been dismal, after having accomplished so much this season. Bastard ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . LOL, that was an amazing week of predictions for me. Not a bad take for my first yellow cap. Had a nice win from a freebet last weekend:
Congrats! Bournemouth might scrape a draw since they're desperate for points but so are Southampton if they're to avoid relegation. Could be fiery either way.
I'm rooting for Southampton, it would be sad to see them get relegated. Even if they do, I expect we'll see them back in the PL after next season. There is a lot of excitement at the bottom of the table going forward.

I need a longterm trusted seller I will start with 500$ amount and slowly keep increasing purchase upto 5000$.
Only thing I can only pay via any giftcards amazon or paypal.
You don't need a trusted seller to accept PayPal, you would need to be a trusted buyer for someone to be willing to accept your PayPal. Good luck with that. Not to mention, only a complete neophyte or a potential scammer would still be using PayPal to buy crypto in this day and age. You've been around long enough that I don't think you're a complete neophyte, so why are you still using PayPal when there are far more practical and trustworthy payment providers?

i need to buy 300$ in bitcoin can pay via paypal, let me know who can help me out.
It's far too risky to accept PayPal from a new account, you'll have to find another way to pay that's less prone to charge-backs if you want to deal with honest sellers. I would not have bothered but looking at your profile, I had to as you are a newbie here. Since you have been given a link here already I commend that but I will advise you to always use an escrow when dealing so as to avoid being scammed as there are scammers everywhere looking for who will fall prey to their activities. Carefully use a reputable high-rank member here as an escrow.
Lastly, I would want to know why you never bothered wanting to use the cex for fast, secured, easy and safe transaction. Atleast there are lots of cex here and an example of the is Binance .
First, it's the OP who is in a position to scam since he's paying with a reversible payment method. Second, No escrow will deal with PayPal. To make the transaction completely safe for the seller the escrow agent would have to hold the BTC for 6 months, until PayPal's window for disputes closes. If he doesn't, the seller has no protection. And I doubt the OP wants his BTC tied up in escrow for 6 months.

Yeah, that's true. But, I like to think that I can tell when I'm reading a redundant post [1], and I would completely trust your judgment, and o_e_l_e_o's, Foxpup's, n0nce's, DarkStar_'s, DireWolfM14's, etc. in determining the same.
I found it funny that you mentioned me, because I had zero experience with these new fangled AI systems. But, this discussion got me curious so I just spent an hour playing with ChatGPT to get an idea of how it would respond. I agree that it would be fairly easy for me to distinguish, or at least I would also like to believe so. The the example I posted below, for instance; it's accurate and coherent, for sure, but contains no personality. The precision is too mechanical, almost predictable in it's encyclopedic accuracy. Soulless, for lack of a better term. write two paragraphs about the impact of spammers on a discussion forum Spammers can have a significant negative impact on discussion forums. They often flood the forum with irrelevant or misleading messages, advertising for products or services, or even phishing scams. This behavior can quickly disrupt the flow of genuine discussion and cause users to lose interest in participating in the forum altogether. Moreover, spammers may also post malicious links or files that can infect users' computers with malware, leading to potential security risks for both individuals and the forum as a whole.
Additionally, dealing with spam can be a time-consuming and frustrating task for forum moderators. They must constantly monitor the forum, remove spam posts, and ban spammers who repeatedly violate the rules. This takes time away from other important moderation duties, such as addressing user concerns and fostering constructive discussions. Ultimately, the presence of spammers can undermine the purpose of a discussion forum by reducing its credibility and reliability as a source of valuable information and community engagement.

I need the funds to attempt to get an airdrop.
Sound like a scam. 99.99% of the time anyone asks you to deposit money with the promise of giving you more money, they are banking on your greed and simply running off with your money. I am on income assistance and am expecting $1300 CAD in my account tomorrow morning.
Why not just wait until tomorrow? Absolute worst case scenario you lose $10 which wouldn't hurt too much.
Given the track record of "newbies asking for non-collateralized loans" on this site, this is the most likely scenario. Not to mention, $10 is a week's worth of groceries in some countries and your attempt to minimize the amount doesn't exactly make you look honest.

@OP electrum seeds are not bip39 and can't be restored in most other wallets.
For this reason alone I prefer to not use Electrum seeds for cold storage. A Bip-39 seed for cold storage is more practical, in my opinion, since it gives you more options to restore the wallet in case of an emergency or lack of access to computers or the Electrum software. All you would need is a hardware wallet or a wide variety of wallet software clients to restore a Bip-39 seed. Electrum seeds are great if you plan to use it as a hot wallet. They are designed with an additional checksum to inform the client whether the seed is intended for a segwit wallet or a legacy wallet, helping the user when restoring the wallet from seed. I've used the Ian Coleman tool to generate 24-word seeds, but I agree with others who've raised concerns about Java and browser-based entropy generators, they don't instill much confidence. The Ian Coleman tool does allow one to enter their own entropy, so I use /dev/urandom to generate 256-bit entropy that I then enter into the Ian Coleman tool. This command will generate a 256-bit HEX string that can be used for entropy: cat /dev/urandom | tr -dc 'A-F0-9' | fold -w 256 | head -n 1

and direwolf maybe you don't know what sarcasm is look it up thanks Sarcasm? I don't think that was sarcasm, which requires a sense of humor. You are humorless brat, with a sense of entitlement. That's not the first post you've made where you've demonstrated such entitlement, hell look your very next post: why should i pawn my ps5 sir ... just because i need money ? don't think so
i want to keep my ps5 and that's my personal choice to keep it and nobody can tell me otherwise that's my choice in this
Of course you can keep your game console, and everyone else would be best served to keep their money away from you. You are not entitled to a loan, and since you've been failing to get one for over a year (very likely with multiple accounts,) you've also demonstrated that you're a petulant, humorless, entitled brat.

tg pls Only scammers insist on dealing on Telegram alone. If you have a legitimate request, please post it here. Otherwise, you're the one who'll be labeled a scammer. I wrote my offer above, and before you brand me as a crook - provide the proofs No, your offer is not written above, you are asking people to communicate on a platform that is a known hotbed for scammers. And I don't need to prove you're a scammer, you are already behaving like one. Also, I didn't "brand" you a scammer... At least not yet.

I am also missing football heavily. Can we also have a fantasy baseball league for the next season after the NFL season with a lower fee? This might make waiting for football season much shorter heehhe.
Dang, I think you might be on to something here. We'd have to make a separate thread of course. But I'd be down. We just need to find a platform that will allow us to do an in-season draft as most teams have already played 9 or 10 games. I see there is a Sportsbet-sponsored MLB thread but not many other baseball-related threads outside of that. I'm gonna look into it. Correct if I am wrong, I remember that @wheelz or @Direwolf created a thread for MLB before. It might be better if we can use it and keep everything within the people who are participating in the league. Also, I would prefer if we start our MLB league before the 2024 regular season where we can also do the draft from the very beginning. Wasn't me. Watching Paint Dry Major League Baseball has never been among my favorite sports, other than going to a local game with family or friends. Tickets for random weekday-games are still relatively affordable and available enough, allowing groups to attend without much trouble. For that reason alone, it's my favorite live sporting event to attend, but in all honesty the game bores me.

This is the first time I'm seeing this thread, great initiative, NotATether!
If I may make a suggestion; I watched the video about containers, and honestly it got a bit frustrating. The music is too loud and distracting in comparison to the narration. Digital voice narration isn't the easiest to follow in the first place, as they often get accent iterations wrong, and with the background music drowning out parts of the narration it gets kind of murky. Otherwise the video is pretty good as a basic introduction to containers.
I look forward to reading the articles too.

Easy to understand that no one with a bit of intelligence will give no collateral loans to newbie! Just seems An attempt to get other users' personal documents and proof of income
That's assuming that dollarday isn't CYBER_COWBOY's alt account. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The other question is who's going to pay 21% interest for a week-long loan for one dinner's worth of grocery money? There's definitely something phishy about CYBER_COWBOY's offer, and he has no leg to stand on calling out other members as scammers when there's no evidence of such.

Bisq is a perfect p2p Bitcoin exchange.
Agreed! It's also the only one I've used in the past year plus. There's no other p2p exchange that offers the level of security and safety of Bisq, either. Due to the requirement of a security deposit and the nature of it's multi-sig transactions, it's among the safest p2p exchanges I've ever seen. There's no KYC and all your data is stored on your local machine, so there's no risk of data leaks if someone tries to hack one of their remote servers. There's also no incentive to hack one of their servers, because there's nothing to be gained by doing so. It's not perfect, and it's limited if you like trading alts, but as a fiat to bitcoin on/off ramp it's second to none. It's also a great way to trade bitcoin for XMR, and vice-versa if you're trying to improve your privacy. https://bisq.network/
