5483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 13, 2020, 05:08:22 AM
@tomahawk9 the decision to shut down La Liga for two weeks absolutely makes sense, as they have prioritised the safety of their fans and the players and hopefully things will get sorted out there soon. @snipie yes Real Madrid players are in quarantine, and I’m praying for them to test negative for this virus.
Football matches with thousands of fans attend in stadiums each match are perfect environment for the contagious virus spread out. The suspend of La Liga is good for all of us, for the league, for all fans, for Spain, for the Europe and for the world, overally.

I hope that the epidemics in the Europe will hit its peak next 2 or 4 weeks, then we will have better condition.
5484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 13, 2020, 04:55:53 AM
That's some shocking news with Arteta and Odoi getting infected with Coronavirus. They are gonna hold emergency meeting today to decide about the future fixtures. PL statement regarding the game are to be carried on normal this weekend was before breaking of Arteta being infected news right?

I think we are gonna see a suspension very soon.
So the virus has infected many players and coach in the Europe, from Italy, England, Germany and maybe Spain. With strong fitness of players and coach, I don't think they will get serious or critical conditions and will recover soon but the fastly and widely spread of the virus is a very strong warning to the public health systems around Europe.

Football, tennis and other sports should be postponed to delay the peaks of the pandemic, in the Europe in particular, to help the local health systems have more time to prepare, then provide better care for patients, especially the elderly who are at most highest risk.

A massive sell-off on BitMex has sent BTC plummeting to $6,000  Sad

REKT on twitter kept posting updates and the volume of liquidations was unreal. In the space of an hour, I must have seen at least $200 million in longs and shorts liquidated. It does make for an interesting Bitcoin price bet in March, though Tongue
Massive Dddos and liquidations on exchanges. Stay positively, the massive crash of bitcoin help its to recharge energy and momentum for its run to the halving day. We won't see bull if we don't see flash crash. That's vital rule on the market. After massacres, there are heavens after that.

After many months, we have another terrible crash from bitcoin, which kills both short and long in the period of 10 to 20 minutes. That's terrible for marginal traders, a very bad day for them.

Hope you all guys who use the FreeBitco.in platform were not liquidated today with your margin trades.
5486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, scam altcoin projects will appear. Check their Githubs first on: March 12, 2020, 02:30:31 PM
Many scam altcoins are already available through bounty campaigns on this forum, almost 90% of the new bounties are scam, it's better to waste your time and energy on something real or that might still survive in the market than something dubious, to earn big we have to take research very seriously
The forum does not manage any ICO or IEO as well as bounties but there are trust, feedback and flag that can be used for investigation before you invest in any projects with ICO or IEO. Projects that have ANN threads here and have negative trust, negative feedback and active flags are not the ones to invest.
and now the number of people promoting ico on the forums has dropped dramatically, because yes some people have learned and don't just promote new projects before doing research, yes even though there will still be people who continue to be fooled because
Partially, it comes from the fall of new ICOs, IEOs projects this year and recent months, respectively, not only because of bounty hunters on the forum. Bounty hunters mostly don't care which type of projects they promote for. Bounties mostly require easy tasks. I would not go to bounties, definitely, if I don't see a good campaign, I will leave me signature space free.

I know there are, my point is the way and manner it was in few years back has suddenly changed, people are no longer as crazy as before to invest on newly lunched project, rather they try to do research and ask questions before they decide to invest
Only some of old investors changed their mind and approach. And there are always new investors who will repeat same stupid invesments.
Quote
A good example would be the sudden death of ico, can you see many ico succeeding recently like before? It is because investors are less, people are more wiser now, even the so-called ieo are not exempted,
It goes to show that things have changed tremendously from what they use to be, I myself am victim of this shit coin, but not anymore.
The death of ICO triggered the wave of IEO. That's it. And people lost money for IEOs, in particular scam IEOs.
In the future, we might see IDO, IMO, whatever new method to do fund-rasing. All of them are name-callings.
Experienced will teached them a lot, newbies are more aggressive and most of the time wanted to invest without studying the projects.
With new invested money the market will proceed, so with scammers, you need to understand and not to allow yourself to invest with
unusable project it will surely burned your money.
Even they see a good article or a topic (like mine), they don't care to spend time for reading and getting knowledge. They only want to have money, money, and fast money. They don't care about preventive strategies for their investment, that they can have from reading.

But I created the topic for someone who want to read, learn and need information to prevent stupid loses. Who need it will spend time to read and appreciate it.

Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has been tested positive for Coronavirus.  Embarrassed
https://www.juventus.com/en/news/news/2020/communication-urgent.php
He is not experiencing any symptoms but the test results came back as positive.
Rugani is the second football players were detected with positive results from the test. It is normal to know that Rugani has not yet shown any symptoms because the biggest report on the Covid-10 (from China) shows the firgure of 80 % of infected people have mild symptoms (and more people in community don't have symptoms).

Such players in Germany and Italy put huge pressure on their local football foundations and the UEFA. Playing matches in close stadiums now looks not a good choice. Players still can spread the virus to each other and play as carriers of the virus to spread it out farther.

Just like the advice for PC users that never install an unknown applications. Same goes for the mobile phone users.
Don't store valuable data on mobile or log in important accounts on mobile are first things to do. Strong passwords, 2FA can not protect you if your phones will be compromised somehow, who knows there are always smart guys.

Avoid installing any app that you see on the play store. Because it can be the other reason why the important files and information that's saved on your phone will be stolen due to malware infection.
Not only about this, but also remember to visit official websites, then get links to their apps on Play Store and get them for installations. Searching apps directly on Play Store contains some amount of risks. If you install fake apps, mostly you will lose money.
5490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, scam altcoin projects will appear. Check their Githubs first on: March 11, 2020, 12:09:51 PM
Although, from my observations I think the period of crazy investment on alts have pretty much died down, compare to 2017, many newly lunched alts project are seriously finding it hard to get investors, hence the need for crazy and ridiculous bonuses.
There are always new newbies in the market, from years to years, we have them joining in the craziest bullish period. They are very important elements to help the market rising exponentially. The market can not grow well without new newbies but honestly I don't want them to be cheated by scammers. They can lose money by making bad entry and exit prices but losing for scammers, I hope NOT.

I don't say this year will have a new flow of capital into crypto market but maybe next year will we have and a new tide of scam projects will appear.

Valencia CF - Atalanta

Josip Iličić scored 4 goals. Well, if I had made a bet for this game I would have won.

RB Leipzig - Tottenham

I waited to see the first minutes of the game to place a bet and it was a good decision

Tottenham was crushed by RB Leipzig. it was evident that tottenham had no way of reversing the situation, I think Jose Mourinho did a lot for the current situation and congratulations.
Atalanta is a biggest shock, the next one is Leipzig. Leipzig's coach is so young, and his age is the same as of Messi. He should be called as the Mourinho III. And it is very interesting to see Mourinho III won against Mourinho like that.

Tottenham has so many injuries and from such terrible squad, Mourinho has little thing to do but 0-3 is the biggest defeat of Mourinho after many years in the Champions League.
Quote
for today's games:

Paris Saint-Germain - Borussia Dortmund

this is a game that i prefer to wait a few minutes to place any bet. Borussia Dortmund played very well at home and have good players like Håland and Sancho. If PSG manage to have a good defense and score goals they will have a chance to win. I heard that Mbappe failed training and that he might not play. that would be a very big problem for PSG

Liverpool FC - Atletico Madrid

I bet that Liverpool will win that game
There are news that Mbappe is isolated is suspected SARS-Cov-2 infected case, is it real or fake news?

I think PSG and A.Madrid will go to the quarter round.
5492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, scam altcoin projects will appear. Check their Githubs first on: March 11, 2020, 10:49:12 AM
I have wasted too much space and evergy downloading new project wallet and installing them, most times, they just repeating what has already been in existing. I wonder why they don't build on existing projects than going through a long processes that will still have their project dead. When holding new altcoins, I sleep with one eye opened.
I suggest you read about them first before downloading their wallet, if you find out that the project consists of repetitive ideas from other projects just ignore, new altcoins are very dangerous, one can get burnt easily while holding them
I know it is not applicable for all but if you can, I advise you to use a single computer for exeperience strange projects (downloading and installing their wallets on that computer is used only for testing and trial). You won't lose money on that computer. Remember don't log in your important accounts with money inside on that computer.

Anyway, if you can not have a computer for that, don't download and install wallets from strange projects is the best you can do.
5493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 10, 2020, 11:35:14 AM
And I think that this regulations are going to be continued until the end of the season.
It is very sad to see that we are seeing amazing games on the pitch and a great championship so far - we had to see that for many years - and now the championship is going to be affected from an external factor.
Think of it, the figures of infected and deaths from seasonal flu in the USA. I understood what Italy has to face with at the moment, a very huge pressure on health system, and facilities but if Wuhan, Hubei and China can contain the epidemic in that nation, Italy can, especially after the nationwide lockdown (a bit lesser than China's lockdown but it is nationwide, not in some locations).

Italy has sacrified many things and we have to appreciate it and give them all best wishes for their fight.

I agree with Mr.Trump's tweet, people should have to stop panic about the Covid-19. It is a bad pandemic but it is not too deadly. Do you think that the pandemic will end after one year, I don't think so. It has potential to last longer, one or two years, till most of people globally infected. But think positively, after the first year of massively infection, next years it will not create panic like we have seen now. Some will have to die but not all infected people will die. Just being as careful as possible, because your own health as well as your relatives' health and your communities' health conditions.
5494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will bring up the Blockchain Engineering Bachelor. on: March 10, 2020, 10:52:16 AM
With the massive expansion of Covid-19, all branches of economy will be affected, in China mainland and outside it, around the globe. All of their plans for blockchain industry will be affected too. And there are other universities around the world have Blockchain courses and degree, not only China.

China is a big nation, and their locals invented many things for the world, over many centuries but to say only China will change the blockchain industry, I don't believe it. The appearance of China and their policy changes on blockchain industry is good, but don't overoptimistic about their effects.

Stay safe everyone.
Italy's government suspended Serie A included Serie B until 3 April. https://www.football-italia.net/151011/serie-suspended-what-happens-now
Seems Euro2020 has a chance to be postponed. https://twitter.com/footballitalia/status/1237129040370204678

I hope all the sport get well soon. I love Italian football.

The whole Italy will be locked down till April but this serious order might be expanded. How long will it go depends on the new infected cases next 4 weeks. With what Wuhan and Hubei province earned from their lockdowns, I think the situation in Italy will be improved next 4 weeks. On the other hand, the old population of Italy might put the elderly here under very high risk of falling into serious, critical conditions and deaths too.

The serious order has potential to contain the epidemic in Italy and help the probability to have Euro 2020 higher. Japan takes nearly the same step by closing all schools nationwide (of course it is less serious order than Italy's).

Of course, I wish all the best for the Italy, and for the elderly here will get well soon. Love you all, Italian.
5497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amid Growing Covid-19 Concerns Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for US Stock Traders? on: March 09, 2020, 11:38:07 AM
For now, investors don't think like that or it is a short term price manipulation to load up enough bitcoin for whales' portfolios before the next bull run. So far we have not seen a significant movements of capital from stocks to bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

And honestly I don't think bitcoin price will rely on that reason (Covid-19) for its bull run. When it starts bullish journey, it will rise. As you see, weeks ago, when bitcoin surpassed $10k, people talked its rise as a consequence of nCov-19 (named as Covid-19 later), but now they are talking that bitcoin drops below $8k because of Covid-19. Is it ridiculous?
5498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you know when to sell on: March 09, 2020, 11:22:08 AM
The question I am constantly facing is, how do you know when you should (or have to) sell? When the price is rising, I don't want to sell because... greed ––tbh. But again when the price is dropping, I don't wanna sell either... sometimes the price might be lower than when I bought. In general, I am bullish that the price will eventually rise and I will make a killing, so no need to hurry. But again, I don't want to be a hodler; I want to be a trader. How do you guys know when to sell?
Naively (but it is true), when you hear many people around you talking about something like: "Buying it now or you will lose your change to become a milliionaire", "That one is a very potential coin/token, you should not miss it", etc. It is the very good time to think of selling and taking profit for your portfolio.

Most of people buying because of motivated noisy environment around, will end with stuck on peaks or all time highs. Being neutrally when you fall into such period and determinantly make your sell orders.
5499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 09, 2020, 10:46:26 AM
With all my highest respect to Inter Milan, they are not good enough to win the Scudetto, at least in this season. But think positively about what they have done so far, with the first season of Antonio Conte on their bench. It is more than good, less than the best (sure). They will become stronger with the summer transfer season to come and with the rest 2 teams, Juventus and Lazio, Juventus have better player resources that in the rest matches of this season will help them get the Scudetto. It is a truth despite of it is so boring to see Juventus win it for almost ten years.
5500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 09, 2020, 10:39:10 AM
Fofr me, i believe the champions league this year could have an unexpected winner because the second leg is tight.

City have to overcome madrid, while Juventus has to score 2 goals.
Barcelona have to prevent Napoli from scoring crucial away goals which seem unlikely.
PSg also have ths task to prevent free flying Dortmund from netting in Paris.

Liverpool have an uphill task to defeat Atletico without conceding, i would suggest its best to wait until the end of this round to properly suggest a winner
City and Barcelona has their advantages from first legs. Only PSG and Liverpool have very big challenges to overcome. Their competitors, Dortmund and Atletico are not weak teams.

I would prefer to see Manchester City, Barcelona, PSG, and Atletico to move next. Liverpool is an interesting team but it is boring to say them win the Champions League in 2 consecutive seasons.
