561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: January 27, 2018, 01:59:41 PM
I remember from one post in the IOST subreddit that there are about 11B tokens currently in circulation. Not sure if it's accurate, so by market capitalization, it is very unlikely to even reach $1 pretty soon.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: January 27, 2018, 01:56:28 PM
Do checkout Crowdgenie, yes, the one in my sig.

It's a Singapore based p2p lending platform which is already operational and plans to expand using blockchain tech and smart contracts. It's a good real world application of the tech, that's why it's promising.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT - Ignis airdrop on Freewallet on: January 27, 2018, 12:45:07 PM
Hello,
I have a wallet with the NXT Freewallet Android App, it is also linked ti the online in freewallet solution. So far  I do NOT see any IGNIS token and I would like to know how will be the Aidrop managed by freewallet.org
I was expecting some other notification but no more notifications are showed in the app, nor online. Before the 28 Dec they showed the notification that they support the IGNIS air drop but now I do not see any information

Thank you

ninosmp, Freewallet users will receive their IGNIS tokens (based on the Ardor Genesis Snapshot) in the beginning of January 2018. We're still doing tests to dot the i's and cross all t's. Please stay tuned, we'll keep our users posted!

Any more updates regarding this? Don't wanna sound impatient but I haven't been able to follow news about the IGNIs distribution lately so yeah, would love to hear something from you guys.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Are Everywhere...Still Catching Them? on: January 27, 2018, 11:19:29 AM
There are worthy airdrops btw, remember Polymath? They've just recently had theirs, but you need to get verified by ID to participate.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Securities Regulator Orders Halt to ICO on: January 27, 2018, 11:10:37 AM
Well, the company behind the ICO is already in the Securities and Exchange commission's blacklist even prior to their ICO. They've been delisted from the Phillipine Stock Exchange due to 'violation of disclosure rules.'

566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What upcoming ICO's are you most interested in? on: January 27, 2018, 01:35:50 AM
The one I got in my siggy.  Grin

But yeah, smart contract powered p2p lending, asset exchange involving SMEs, aren't these the real world applications the Blockchain tech hoped for a few years back?  Grin
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you shouldnt be shorting on: January 27, 2018, 01:24:50 AM
Quote
The market is very irrational, and so your risk management is not in a good position. I wouldn't say you are getting "lucky" but you are not making smart choices. Until the market calms down, and coins like Bitconnect arent getting $2b in funding marginal trading really should'nt be attempted.

I understand where you're coming from, but in this space, the markets won't calm down, or may do so just for a short while then it's back to crazy again. It's still the wild west. So actually, if you can manage the risk, and you're doing well with shorting, then why not?
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins with potential to x100? on: January 23, 2018, 01:00:21 PM
I actually bought IOS tokens just for the really small chance that it would boom. Had to make the jump, I thought the team behind is promising. Didn't do enough research tho I'll admit.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOSToken - already higher volume then Ethereum on: January 21, 2018, 04:40:03 AM
Seems legitimate, took at look at the profiles of the team members too. The thing is it only offered "institution-only private token sale," something unusual in this climate.

Might be a gem, really.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on: January 21, 2018, 03:58:37 AM
If you invest some coins and hold them until you trade on exchange, you should not keep them in the wallet exchange, you can be lost them.
As we know that digital currency is not registered under any state law.So, we have to be very careful when choosing a coin purse for your digital currency and for wallet ripple you can use The Ledger Nano S, Unlike other wallets that have been developed for digital money, this wallet actually has a physical look like a USB device, which can be touched and carried in a pocket, so it's safe from hackers but you must buy it around $ 63- $ 95

Well exchange tokens like COSS and KCS, those that give dividends thru fee-sharing, are pretty much best left on the exchange so you can get your share of the fees.

Never used hardware wallets, I just got my wallets printed on a QR and laminated.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising ICO's I will be investing in this week on: January 20, 2018, 01:25:45 PM
The only one I've invested on lately is CrowdGenie. It's in my sig, it's an operational p2p lending platform for small businesses based on Singapore that plans to advance into digital assets trading, still for small businesses. The concept is great, and there's already a working product that they're migrating on to the blockchain. So yeah, promising.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IGNIs and Bittrex on: January 20, 2018, 05:00:05 AM
Even FreeWallet hasn't updated theirs. Probably we've got to wait a little bit more, they've said a tentative sched would be around the 3rd week of January.

Well this is a new environment so we've got to stabilize it first.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for a long term coin on: January 20, 2018, 04:49:40 AM
For 2-3 months, I'd recommend COSS. It's an exchange-backed token, much like KCS in which you gain dividends for the fees. The exchange is still rather small and growing, but the team has consistently showed they're real competent and investment worthy.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The Ultimate Guide: Top 7 Altcoins That are Way Undervalued. (Moon time?) on: January 20, 2018, 04:38:35 AM
COSS coin almost doing 10x in a week weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

It's value is stable for now, even after the exchange mess. The devs have been a real good sport for the failure and covered up all the customers losses. Talk about being a role model for all the other exchanges.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: January 20, 2018, 04:34:32 AM
Is the dev active (not on twitter or bullshit like that, like actually pushing out updates and important things).

It's actually better if the dev and the team is active in any possible form of communication they have. Regular updates are very important especially in this space.

Telegram groups are very useful... and discord groups as well ..

That's community support I guess.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Impatience kills projects on: January 20, 2018, 02:48:03 AM
In so many threads I see a huge impatience. That kills projects.

When a coin doesn`t goes up 100% in 1 week then it is "scam", and if it declines 100%, too.  Cheesy
What do you think how long does it take to establish a project in a market? 6 weeks? Very often I have this feeling that many in our community think like that.

And 100% up and down is nothing in the coin market, have a look at pennystocks, there it is the same thing. And if you watch stocks in dow jones 1 $ up and down ist nothing, because the market is much bigger.

Don't worry, that has always been the trend here for many years already. Couldn't do anything about it so I just used the info and bought more when the market crashes.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: January 20, 2018, 02:42:33 AM
A proven team behind, good potential revenue model, real development, and a working minimum viable product. That's what I'm looking for when I invest in Tokens or ICOs. It's a least a good start.
578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it chance to jump in? on: January 20, 2018, 02:38:39 AM
It's still not cheap to enter the markets with fiat, as compared to a few months ago. I'd suggest maybe wait for a little more dip before cashing in again.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 20, 2018, 02:35:46 AM
A few years ago I thought doge is a shit coin that has no future.but I missed the chance to be rich. Sad Sad  Doge is almost .01$ now, Hoping it will hit soon into marketplace. because people buying this coin now a days hugely.

Same. I didn't imagine that a cryptocurrency that was considered a joke, would get this far. The whole cryptocurrency sector has gained a lot of popularity recently, and I believe that as people discover Dogecoin's benefits over Bitcoin, they will use it more for their daily transactions. Holding into Dogecoin for the long term, might not be ideal since it has a huge supply, but you can hold for the short term and sell some DOGE as soon as it reaches your desired price levels.

Last time, DOGE was near the $0.01 mark. Seeing that it has gained a lot of traction recently (despite it lacks development), I believe that Dogecoin has a very bright future ahead of it. All it needs is just a little pizzazz and it could reach farther than $0.01 within a few years from now.

Nevertheless, even if Dogecoin falls in price, it will still be in the eyes of many people, as the most fun and exciting cryptocurrency in existence. Just my opinion Smiley

It's still useful for avoiding huge withdrawal fees from exchanges and transaction fees from the bitcoin network. I use it for exchange-to-exchange transfers all the time.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your method of Evaluating an Altcoin? on: January 20, 2018, 02:25:57 AM
Well for me it is the Whitepaper that matters most. I've always got a strong gutfeel that a particular token will succeed after reading it's whitepaper. Especially those that already has a working viable product.
