581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 28, 2021, 11:48:59 PM
This guy has all the answers that we were asking about the sports industries. So it's all about the money, fans are just some props to make everything sets. that's why before the start of the fight, both fighters have some kind of short talk to make things more exciting which is obviously part of the plan. no matter how serious they are in their conversations it's ready to set up and the reporter who gonna ask some questions is already scripted. I wonder if the NBA games are also part of this thing.
The person is trying to sell his book and make money out of it and everyone is thinking that what he said is inside information, but from the words the only thing i could understand was that he is speculating whether Pacquiao vs Bradley was a fix which means he is throwing names out so that he could attain the controversy he is looking for to sell his book.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 28, 2021, 11:04:33 PM
~
Why is Mayweather here? the fight is between Manny and Spence and the lawsuit was coming from Paradigm Sports,
That was a mistake from my part as i had a couple of drinks  Grin  What is the gist of what i said is that the management of Manny Pacquiao has to decide what can be done in this situation and if there is a contract with Garcia and his team is looking to cash in on the situation by asking $3 million then the  Manny Pacquiao team has to decide on dropping this fight and face Garcia or settle him and face Errol Spence and till now we have no idea what their decision is even though Manny Pacquiao took it lightly in a recent interview.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 28, 2021, 10:03:26 PM
In this Screenshot, I think this is a clean shot that Ciryl Gane had launched to Volkov but Alexander Volkov doesn't hurt by it at all, in my opinion, Gane is definitely delivering brutal attacks to Volkov but he doesn't really hurt by it at all, that is why I think that Gane does have tactics, skills, and technique but lacks power, the whole round, Volkov can withstand Gane's brutal attack his level of durability is sure awesome, or Gane really lacks the power to force Volkov to TKO,
Ciryl Gane is a technical fighter and a kick boxer and he might not be having one punch knockout power but he knows how to win fights and that is what is interesting and do not underestimate the chin of Alexander Volkov, he was only knocked out once by Derrick Lewis in a fight he was winning till the end in a career spanning 42 fights in the Heavyweight division.

My conclusion with this I think that Ciryl Gane is half ready for a Francis Ngannou fight, he can surely outspeed Ngannou but he can not hurt Francis Ngannou that much, but before Francis Ngannou, I think Stipe Miocic could be the right opponent for him if he can accumulate power in his strikes in preparation for the Ngannou fight.
Francis Ngannou is raw power and i have no idea who has the power to knockout Francis Ngannou, the fight i wished to see was Anthony Johnson and Francis Ngannou when i heard he was coming out of retirement but unfortunately he signed with Bellator and we wont be able to see that power punching battle.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 28, 2021, 09:19:57 PM
They cannot wait on it as there's already a contract. Manny should honor the contract but if not, he has to pay what they are demanding for.

That's a big amount of money that he has to pay.
Three million dollars to stand aside is a huge sum and it depends upon whether Manny Pacquiao and his management will be willing to give that kind of money. The problem is that how much money the management is planning to make with Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence and what is the pay share each fighters are getting, if we know those guaranteed purses we will know whether they will settle it and continue with this fight.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 28, 2021, 08:00:30 PM
What a thrilling match. The best in this Euro Cup season so far. Croatia also played very well but just wished they capitalised more on their chances. Overall they really pushed Spain's defense well. Seems like there is nothing to be done now with the scoreline like this but really kudos to Croatia for giving fans such a thrilling match.
It was unexpected as i did not expect a goal fest like this and that too Croatia playing really well in the second half and to score two goals was outstanding and Spain was holding on to the match and the extra time just produced another couple of goals and it might be a record to score 5 goals in two consecutive matches as they scored 5 against Slovakia and now against Croatia.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Binace Markets, subsidiray of Binance, banned from operating in UK on: June 28, 2021, 06:32:48 PM
Oh  boy, what is going on with the government's lately. First Nigeria and China and now also UK. It is not a ban yet on crypto currencies, but  a first step. Why can't governments just leave the crypto world in peace? Regulating crypto services is a good idea, but banning them not. There are so many people now using cryptos, and most of us are doing it legitimately.
The government is not acting against cryptocurrencies but against an exchange and it is not a big deal if they can comply with the regulation and you need to follow the rules and regulations and since we are a new market we had the leverage and the option to conduct any business without any restrictions and since the market has grown to new territories regarding the valuation we should expect these action against the exchanges to be more transparent and may be report everything that is taking place in the exchange.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Ethereum killer? on: June 28, 2021, 12:51:23 PM
Binance is a giant in the Alt-coins arena, and a centralized one at that.

It has a lot of money to pour into promoting its own chain. Ethereum on the other hand has much more organic presence in the developer community. Most of the prospective use-cases for blockchain look for decentralization. So, developers adept at smart-contracts on Ethereum will continue to be valuable. This means that they will continue to build and run on it. I doubt that BSC can change this. They have the money behind them while ETH has the community. Why should it play out any differently than BTC vs BCash?
Months down the line the entire landscape changed and now almost all of the coins are using BSC network than Ethereum for launching their platform and once that launched them in Ethereum are either migrating to BSC chain or using it as an alternative as the demand is higher from the clients. Even i was skeptical about their success but that changed in a matter of months.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: June 27, 2021, 11:59:49 PM
Frankly I hope to be able to spend all my coins before I die so I don't think about other people accessing my coins when I'm dead.
This is how i am thinking as well, i am healthy and i do not think i will be dying while holding a lot of coins. I do not have a next of kin to take care of the wealth but if that happens then i will think about it, but right now i am healthy but i do have a back up of all the wallets and the passwords and the private keys are stored in a separate locker.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moving Bitcoin to El Salvador on: June 27, 2021, 11:14:55 PM
I already lost all my bitcoin in a boating accident.
I'm curious how does one lose bitcoin in an accident?
He went fishing, the bait was bitcoin and the whale swallowed it  Tongue Cheesy.

Unless you move completely to safe heaven it is not possible to get away avoiding the taxes, the authorities are planning to come up with rules and regulations and you think it will be easy like moving to another country cashing out and coming back in.

Suppose you open a bank account in Salvador and cash out everything you still want to move that money back to the US and how you are going to do that without showing the source of income especially if it is a huge amount. The best option is always to find a Chartered Accountant who knows how to file a tax with cryptocurrency and he will help you with filing the tax with the loopholes that is available without getting into trouble.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 27, 2021, 08:44:17 PM
The schedule for the next WTC is out very quickly people and it looks like NZ will begin defending their title in July itself. They deserve a longer break in my opinion.

India will kick off their campaign in August. We will have to wait until 2023 to witness the end of the 2nd edition of WTC. My random prediction is that Australia will win the 2nd edition.
So every two years we will be having a Test championship and a single match format is fine as long as we get the results and we do not want to see any team sharing the trophy. Australia is not performing like they used to in the past, even India came with a weak team and defeated them in their home grounds and they need to play aggressive cricket they used to play in the past, i give England the chance but it all depends upon where the final is conducted.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 27, 2021, 05:41:24 PM
Haha actually I don't Blame those people too, people Never see the story on the other side, it's true for the riches too, they too are arrogant sometime and don't respect the story of the poor, but yes it's true that corruption , politics are part of story of every rich, but just corruption cannot take you anywhere, if it was so easy everyone could get rich by bribing a government official. It's entirely the hard work ,smart work and fortune of a person which can make him rich.
Every billionaire who started from scratch had their struggles and no one cares about those and once they reach their days of riches after their hard work and dedication everyone seems to call them arrogant because they only see the money side of things while they are unaware of the struggles they went through before they became a billionaire, i am not sure about the taxes but how come they are not paying any tax which i think is not factual.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 27, 2021, 04:11:03 PM
Despite the fact that we've experienced a substantial reduction in the value of ethereum, I still have confidence in the ethereum project. The reductions could be a better opportunity for us to get the coin at a cheaper rate. Some persons are of the opinion that the bull run is not yet over, though the market looks gloomy.
This is a general concept of the market and everyone expect the market to rally again and when that is the perception there are much bigger questions like whether there are other coins that could make you a better profit than Ethereum with minimal risk and if you take a look in the market there are several coins like that that have a much lower risk.
593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 13k. FORECAST on: June 26, 2021, 11:59:13 PM
Don't be so shocked because this institutional money will try to squeeze the retail investors so that they can get those cheap bitcoins from them. I think so too that 13k was on extreme bearishness when this fall was due to China FUD again. Still, this is huge opportunity again to get cheap BTC as well from these noob investors.
It is a good theory but these institutional investors were the sole reason the price rallied to $63k in a short period of time as they were purchasing huge amount of coins even when the price was crossing new boundaries and they could have played this game earlier to try and squeeze everyone out and enter at a lower rate  Tongue.

We can come up any theories which might give you inner happiness but we all know that it is not easy to predict when a market will move and the reason why it is moving until we hear about institutional investors investing so and so amount and if the market goes down we always come to a conclusion that is was due to FUD that the market is going down Grin.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinTalk's altcoin section vs. altcoinstalks.com on: June 26, 2021, 09:53:34 PM
~
it's just that bitcointalk is really too good to walk and it's almost a part of my life and routine. I knew about the altcointalk scheme a few years ago, but I don't really have any interest in it. although they have new and quite interesting rules.
This is the only forum site i visit and it has become my routine even though i cannot necessarily say that it is part of my life as i have taken longer breaks especially after every market correction or i am not in the mood and most probably i wont be sparing any time for other sites, but i would like to know what are the interesting rules that attracted you in altcointalk.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 26, 2021, 08:54:38 PM
Another interesting match is going on between South Africa and West Indies and South Africa has set a target of 160 runs and with all their major players back in the West Indies squad including Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo i think they will chase the score easily.
West Indies started well and they already reached 71 runs within 6 overs at a strike rate of over 12 runs per over and i think they are the most dangerous team in the upcoming T20 World Cup as they have a destructive batting line up and can defeat any team on their day because of the batting fire power they have.

If they get starts like they had today with Andre Fletcher and Evin Lewis opening the batting with the rest of the power house waiting to come out to bat they could chase any total and it will be a big hurdle to defeat them if they are playing with the same team throughout the season.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 26, 2021, 08:20:08 PM
Of course it was an inside job. South Africa is a lawless country with rampant crime and government corruption. The scams run nonstop. Their police force and legal system is so utterly worthless, these people could admit they ran with the money and pay some small fine, and keep the rest.
How long they will be running away from the law, the exchange will be having money from citizens of other countries and if they are caught i am sure they will be prosecuted for fraud if they really ran away with the money.

Do you seriously think that they will get away with a small fine for $3.6 billion and will be allowed to keep the rest, i really do not think so  Undecided.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Amateur Traders Cause Bubbles on: June 26, 2021, 06:35:42 PM
The stock market being a centralized market has a bunch of rules that reduce the volatility, its volume is higher and there are so many good stocks that the market does not depend on a single one, this market is the complete opposite of that and while this is great this has the effect of creating way more volatility, however the newbies do not realize the profits they dream about are caused by that volatility and that just as they can earn money with it they can also lose it.
Anyone who is an active trader in the stock market would be scared when they see the volatility in the cryptocurrency market and there is a probability that they will sell off their coins at a loss and basically these panic sell off happens if they are not doing their proper homework before investment and if you are willing to take the risk without the proper homework then you are bound to end up in a loss because the volatility in the cryptocurrency market is nothing new.
598  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will Bitcoin go? on: June 26, 2021, 05:15:35 PM
I think it will go lower than $20K before it will bounce back. Good to buy more at a lower price and just hold for profit despite of all the negative news.
We might see sub $20k but that happens when there is a major correction and not when the market is looking for a direction, i am still not convinced that we are in a bear market and the market is trading at a range for some time and it will continue to do so until the market is able to break the resistance and until then expect the market to move in the same direction for a while.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coin is crashing on: June 26, 2021, 04:11:16 PM
This is not an issue with the entire meme coin market but the entire market went down and if you are worried that the market will not recover then you should book your position as it is really hard to predict what the situation would be as the market is pumped because of the hype that was created by some influencers and the correction depends upon when the hype will die off.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 26, 2021, 02:49:53 PM
Rohit Sharma is even more arrogant when compared to Kohli. But in his case at least we can say that he know how to behave in public, unlike Kohli who behave like a baboon in the field. The same is the case with the other potential options, such as Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya.
Does this even matter, all it takes is their performance in the field, what they do outside is their personal space and if someone tries to evade that then do not expect good things  Grin.

Anyway, until Kohli retires from the game (that may happen after 7-8 years), there is no chance that someone else will come up as the permanent captain in any of the three formats. Kohli will never resign by himself, and no one else have the courage to demand that he should step down.
Virat Kohli is 32 years of age and to play for the next 7 to 8 years he needs to maintain his fitness and form which is a really hard task once you cross 34 years of age, there is a possibility that Rohit Sharma could handle the T20 captaincy as he is a better captain in the shorter format from what i have seen from IPL performance.
