Does it seem like the time between blocks is getting longer? On the network in general?
I know look at the average. I am more curious about a shorter term look. 21 days maybe?
according to the stats on the header of kano.is it shows 23 min between blocks Not really, quite the opposite hence why the projected diff is going up. If the block generation times were slow then it would be over 10m and trending toward a negative diff, but we are still projected at over 5% increase. Bitcoin Difficulty: 178,678,307,672 Estimated Next Difficulty: 187,988,569,390 (+5.21%) Adjust time: After 1369 Blocks, About 9.3 days Hashrate(?): 1,262,550,030 GH/s Block Generation Time(?): 1 block: 9.8 minutes 3 blocks: 29.5 minutes 6 blocks: 59.0 minutes Updated: 15:35 (2.1 minutes ago) The current estimation is off because it's taking in count some data of the past diff. It's more like 1-2% at the moment.

I love seeing these as they bring back memories. How did you do on selling them if you don't mind me asking? Did you the hundreds of them? That blade came after that blew them away, which is when I unloaded my block erupters. Great vids ! I missed those good days. I wish I knew sooner about mining ;-)

6 hours left in my 150T rental. I keep hoping to see the number change to 172 blocks found and my popup open!! So far I haven't even gotten by my last high of 2B... Yeah, I think i never pulled a better share then 6G with a few rentals. Even my Antfurnace pulled a 20G a longtime ago

That's a hard hit but let's see if we can stick in this diff range until the halving

Please Adaseb, let me answer my own thread ...
Adib, thanks for you offer. I'm currently in talk with someone here in Canada for the entire unit. If i can't find a buyer, I might ship to the EU but for now I will add a note into the main post as I would prefer Canada or USA only.
I'm in US might be interested if we can work a nice price. PM sent

IMO Bitmain will not sell a miner with a drastically different design than the S7. I don't think we will ever see another even series.
Will the S9 ship before the SP50?
I'm like you... I believe BITMAIN has found the closure they want for future rigs (the current S7 closure) and will design future rigs for that closure. Keeping the same closure will also make shipping cheaper for those who have the S7 boards and will want to upgrade to the S9 boards. Especially, once the S7 boards are barely or no longer profitable [depending on your power cost and difficulty]. As for WHEN they come out with a new rig and whether or not it has the next generation chips (16nm), it's anyone's guess. I personally do not believe we see a 16nm rig by BITMAIN until September or October. I would be surprised if it doesn't come out very soon after the halving which will make the S7 unaffordable to run in the majority of places in the world with normal (too damn high) electric rates. Maybe there will be a market to sell our S7s back to China with their cheap power! I believe in a new generation shortly after the halving, bets? Did you notice my offer 1. your offer is not very enticing for, i guess, everybody. right now it is too little, later maybe too much. Besides, how could you offer btc without knowing how much btc is worth in a month? 2. I am pretty confident that bitmain will collect money for new gen BEFORE halving. Whether they will ship before or shortly thereafter is open for suggestion. They will probably ask for something ridiculous again in $$ terms. 3. I am trying not to play this game anymore. To 1. Let's wait and see, the price is a negotional matter. But basically, if you bought the first batches for 5 BTC and i am offering 0.8 BTC you do not have to sell. If you bougt one of the last batches for around 1.4 BTC 0.8 BTC isn't too bad i think. To 2. If they are smart, and i believe they are, Bitmain should offer the preorder 2 weeks before the halving, and start shipping them at the day of halving. I personally believe that they already have the next generation working already, like they did with the S7 To 3. Mining? 3. ordering expensive miners early I had a good return with my S3 first batch but not with the S7 as I paid in BTC and the price was low. If I had paid cash it would have been better but ... you never know what it is coming. I highly doubt I will buy any further Batch 1 from Bitmain. First, the first batch didn't do so great in the past (S3 low hash, S7 low hash) and they overpriced the S7 batch 1. I skipped the S5, I don't remind how good or bad they did with performance/pricing for the first batch.
