601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 25, 2021, 08:30:23 PM
~
There's another fight of Connor, it's already the 3rd fight and if he wins this fight, then we will surely see a Manny vs Connor fight happen. Both fighters needs to win, Connor to win against Poirier  and Manny needs to win against Spence, and there names will be hot again.
Both Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor has huge fan base and even if they do not win their next fight and if Manny Pacquiao wants to announce his retirement with one last fight it can be against Conor McGregor and it will do big numbers irrespective of their wins or losses in their next fight.

Lets be real, if Logan Paul and Jake Paul can pull in big numbers, Conor McGregor can always pull big numbers and he has proved that time after time.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 24, 2021, 11:10:35 PM
You can obviously see the height difference, but you can see the Loma is somewhat measuring the distance already, hehehe. No trash talking because of the language barrier, but we all know that Loma doesn't trash talk unless you start it. And Loma says he want to get another crack at Teofimo Lopez.
I am expecting a good showdown by Vasiliy Lomachenko against Masayoshi Nakatani if he is really looking for a rematch against Teofimo Lopez and he needs to finish the fight and make a statement and i am expecting Lomachenko to win against Teofimo Lopez if they have a rematch as he will be looking to finish the fight rather than going to the judges decision.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH Hit $6K this week? on: June 24, 2021, 10:17:33 PM
For now we could expect the best for ETH if this behavior follows, it is necessary to remember that ETH is always growing faster than BTC, if BTC recovers 10%, ETH could recover up to 20% or more.
But if you look at the charts in the past 24 hours, Bitcoin recovered 3.69% while Ethereum was able to recover only 1.92% while even Dogecoin made a 12.51% recovery. So it is not that easy to predict and come to a conclusion that whenever there is a recovery in Bitcoin, ETH would naturally recovers much better than Bitcoin or any other coin.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 24, 2021, 09:34:04 PM
And today everyone has seen an increase back in a few percent in all cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, but if I look at the percentage increase, it doesn't seem like it's certain that the market will recover to normal soon.
What do you mean by normal, the price of Bitcoin is trading over $34800 and for a moment i thought the market would rally once again as it was well above $35k and now there is a selling pressure and for me it is well above my expectations because you need to take into consideration what the value was a few months back and then decide what we are witnessing.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero vs Zcash- who wins? on: June 24, 2021, 08:31:04 PM
...Monero is superior to Zcash.
IRS offered a bounty to anyone who can crack Monero's privacy. I don't think there is anything else to add there hehe.
Which means the IRS went out and publicly offered a bounty to crack Monero while we have not heard about asking others about cracking the rest of the privacy coins says a lot  Grin.
I do think that Monero is the truly anonymous coins that Zcash.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 24, 2021, 07:10:11 PM
The gap between smaller teams such as Sri Lanka and the big 3 teams have increased and there is no chance that Sri Lanka would be able to put up a credible performance against England (even if they are missing some of the big names such as Ben Stokes). However, if Sri Lanka could win at least one match, that will help them with the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings, and eventually they may not need to play in the qualifying tournament for the next T20 World Cup. At this point, they are ranked #8, which is enough to avoid the qualifiers.
Which means you do not get automatic selection if you are ranked lower, when that situation will arise as i have not seen any issues about the rankings to qualify in the world cup till now as un-ranked teams also get a chance.

Sri Lanka is once again struggling in the second T20 and they set a target of 112 runs to win for England and it will be another cake walk victory  Cheesy.

Multan Sultans posted a score of 206 runs but what was impressive was two bowlers Sameen Gul and Mohammad Irfan having a really good economy when others were trashed and it is going to be a tough chase for Peshawar as the asking rate keeps on climbing over 13 per over.

607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 23, 2021, 05:11:03 PM
Anyway, congratulations to the PCB, for organizing the second phase of the PSL in such an organized manner. They faced a lot of criticism for the bubble breach in the first phase. But they made sure that the mistakes were not repeated. And congratulations to the Emirates Cricket Board as well. After a gap of two decades, the UAE is once again emerging as a major cricket hub.
UAE was the home ground of Pakistan for a decade and only recently PCB started conducting matches in Pakistan but due to the mishap they were forced to move the PSL to UAE and i assume it is not a big deal as audience were not allowed and it is not a big loss for them in terms of gate revenue.

Yes, the big final will be played tomorrow. Its good to see the tournament coming to the end successfully but at the same time i am sad as we will have to wait for one whole year for the next edition of PSL.
What is your prediction for the match.

England and Sri Lanka are playing today and i am placing a bet on England to win easily and hopefully England will field a strong team.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 23, 2021, 04:21:28 PM
What a turn around, New Zealand needs 65 runs to win the first ever world Test championship and they have plenty of time to reach that score and they only lost two wickets and unless there is a delay in the match and New Zealand deserved to win the match even with weather interruptions as they played like champions throughout the match and they were able to check the Indian batsman to restrict for a low score.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mafias Most Wanted Fight Fixer on: June 22, 2021, 10:48:12 PM
~all i can say is that Mayweather vs Logan must be a fixed fight as well which everyone won. Mayweather didn't get the loss record and also Logan but everyone got the money and most probably the Mafia as well in sports betting. It does sound like we can analyze how they all work base on what we could observe.
The Mafia might have had influence in the 1970 and 1980 to fix fights in the US but now it is impossible that the mafia could control anything by force, they might influence the judges by paying them well and usually these things will not come out in the public unless there is a serious heat to catch these manipulators.

I do not think Manny fight was fixed and nor does Mayweather and Logan Paul exhibition fight, these mafia takeover in sports is possible in Japan but not in the US.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 22, 2021, 09:24:34 PM
I agree that when making an analysis, the age of Manny Pacquiao should not be taken as one of the disadvantages. Can apply to other veteran boxers but not for Pacquiao.
We did not see Manny Pacquiao fight for the past two years and he is not getting younger and these delay is due to the pandemic and not because he was injured or retired but the problem is that with age your reflexes goes down and that is a fact. We can very well understand this once the fight starts and in the first three rounds we will know whether we are seeing the old Manny Pacquiao.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 22, 2021, 08:09:03 PM
PSL is really unpredictable, i was watching the match and i never expected Islamabad United to post 174 runs let alone be competitive in this match because they were down at 110 for the loss of 8 wickets and then had a resurgence which was unpredictable and even though they reached those runs Peshawar Zalmi chased the total in less than 17 overs.

Anyone here making bets on PSL? if so how is the experience when you have unpredictable matches like these.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 21, 2021, 09:46:06 PM
~
Well, I give that to him alright and who's doesn't really want cold hard cash right? and the match was only an exhibition match but still there is no doubting that both of them have orchestrated this event, and we just enjoy the show they are pulling on to us.
Logan Paul was swinging hard and even if they were orchestrating one wrong move and he could knockout Mayweather, so i do not see this as a scripted event even though it was an exhibition bout because there were betting lines and it would be illegal if they fixed the fight.

~
Right on the bat, Tyron Woodley needs another career and I think this could be his break-even through Jake Paul is the most hated YouTuber by many you can not take out the fact that the kid can really box, and against Ben Askren, he surely stunts many that are watching that fight, I guess Woodley might need to get cautious from this guy in my opinion.
Jake Paul can box and these kids are smart enough to gain the attention they need to make millions of dollars when legit fighters are struggling to make a quarter of what they make with these events and so is the reason many hate them because these youtube stars are mocking the entire PPV system.

I do not remember a fight where Tyron Woodley got knocked out and hence i assume he does have a good chin and i hope this to be a competitive match rather than a boring hugging match.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be the biggest bubble economy in history? on: June 21, 2021, 08:45:09 PM
bitcoin is not the best candidate to take such a designation, but some individuals who are related to bitcoin and have nightmares about the future of bitcoin seem to dream of it.
We are hearing about the bubble theory for a very long time and it is the only thing haters who does not understand the market will call in the next 10 to 15 years as well and the best option is to ignore these idiots and move on rather than defending their claims as it will fuel them further.

Obviously bitcoin is still something new despite its 10 years, in reality it is still young its little adoption or penetration as a legal tender, but its +10 years and what has happened in recent months, despite the price current for some, it is far from becoming an economic disaster.
To be frank, the price does not matter if we are looking for global adoption, price increase should come naturally because of global adoption rather than viewing the Bitcoin market as a speculative asset and since the view is different from the vision we had in the past we will see huge volatility in the price and still you cannot call them as a disaster.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 21, 2021, 08:01:13 PM
Anyway, if rain don't interrupt in the game for next two days then there is a slight chance to see a single winner of WTC final. And I will keep New Zealand ahead from this situation. Otherwise we will see a draw.
Hopefully we will not have anymore weather interruption and the weather forecast looks good but not sure about the light as the played was stopped on occasion claiming poor light and it can happen. The chances of having a winner in the first WTC finals is highly unlikely as i am expecting interruption due to bad light.

West Indies lost all their wickets for 175 runs. West Indies lost the match by 158 runs. The West Indies need more patient and experienced players for the Test format. While the West Indies are good enough in the T20 and ODI formats, they are very weak in the Test format. Even I think the Afganisthan test squad is more good than West Indies' squad.
In the shorter format they are competitive and when the bowling is tough they struggled in Test matches even though they played some good cricket against Bangladesh if i remember correctly but was not able to survive against genuine pace bowling in South Africa.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge profit but how to withdraw on: June 21, 2021, 07:00:00 PM
Other than moving to another country it would be wise to move your winnings to a p2p exchange platform with that you would both avoid the tax that would be charged as well as the cost of starting a new life in a different country.
Yes, it's a good solution to implement for those who want to move from one country to another,
but can a p2p exchange platform be very safe to store assets that we already have?
Even if you use P2P exchange and you are withdrawing huge amounts IRS will be notified and you might get a letter asking for the source of income. The best option is to travel to a country with lower taxation if you are planning to withdraw huge amounts, start a small business and then send them back home, if not withdraw small amounts without raising suspicion by the IRS.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 21, 2021, 05:28:47 PM
^^ Would now add Williamson and kiwis too along with Koach. Kiwis are panuti/ unlucky too and chokers when playing in any finals or super overs.

Harsha got a fair point, stats indicate the same but i we need some batting collapse.
A batting collapse might create a result from a situation like this, the pitch was expected to turn in the final two days and that might be the reason India picked two spinners but they pitch was covered for two days and there wont be any assist to the spinners as expected, so it is going to be hard for India to bowl out New Zealand that easily and if there is a result then i am expecting New Zealand to win.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some words of encouragement during this market crash on: June 21, 2021, 04:22:54 PM
Throw away all your social media that are screaming about the beginning of a bear market. Subscribe to the MicroStrategy news channel. Today this is one of the companies that know what many do not know. She is constantly only increasing her Bitcoin holdings, and Michael Saylor has no disappointments with Bitcoin.
The best option is not to celebrate anything because there will be a time when MicroStrategy will book their profit. Right now they are investing heavily but there will be a point where they will be booking their profit. The market situation is not surprising as we are still moving in a range with a support around $30k and the resistance is pretty strong to break and so is the reason the market went down.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump regrets not banning twitter as he hails Nigerian government for doing so on: June 20, 2021, 09:31:51 PM
Twitter claims to be an intermediary, and it says that the users are responsible for their tweets. That is OK. But if they show bias in flagging the tweets and banning the users, then they can no longer claim to be an intermediary. And this is what the Indian law ministry said last week when they removed the legal protection of Twitter. A handful of the billionaires and the corporations controlled by them (Twitter, Google, Facebook.etc) want to decide who should rule the world. They are actively interfering with the politics, not just in the United States, but also in the other countries.
All the social media platforms are intermediary and the user is responsible for the contents they put out and the only times twitter flags someone if they are propagating fake news and promoting hate speech and if that is their policy then what is that a government can do about it. Twitter as a company is not interfering in politics as far as i know but it is a mass media and the users are using it as a tool to spread their political views.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is really the value of Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2021, 08:44:54 PM
I also hear people like Cathie Woods and analysts at JP Morgan say Bitcoin will reach $500k or $140k respectively. I understand for stocks you can look at financial statements and make valuation models to calculate target prices, but for Bitcoin, is the value based on the scalability of network?
If the value of Bitcoin is based on scalability of the network we would not see these high valuation, it is basically demand and supply and if you look at when the market started to rally you will understand that it started once the halving took place which means the number of new coins that are available is reduced by half and in turn that created a ripple affect and there were huge investments coming in and so is the reason the price rallied.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2021, 07:31:00 PM
Ok! now that the boring fights were settle I think that this next one will be quite interesting in my opinion,
I am not aware of most of the opponents, i have seen the fights of Alexander Volkov, Ovince St. Preux, Andre Fili, Renato Moicano and Tim Means but i do not know anything about the rest of the fighters nor their opponents. Even in the last event i did not place a bet as i was not sure about how the fights will go and that is the situation in this fight card.

Looks like the next fight card which might interest me is UFC 264 next month Cry.
