601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 01, 2021, 11:24:46 PM
opening line AFAIR.

1. 2.80
2. 2.65
now 2.47

Odds for Spence Jr have slightly adjusted too from 1.4 (afaik this is the opening line right?) to 1.5.

Just a slight movement but it means there's a possibility to move more while the fight is approaching. For me,  it will settle between 1.4-1.5 Spence / 2.4.2.5 Pacquiao a day before the fight.

A couple of weeks to go and we will now see the action.

Just to share that if you are really rooting for Pacquiao and you want to bet on him, you can try betja - https://betja.com/sport/boxing/world-fights-318137/errol-spence-v-manny-pacquiao-1101, their odds for Pacquiao is still at 3.0 while other bookies are already down to 2.44 (bitsler). Betja is relatively new sportsbooks here, and what they are promoting is their odds are really better than other. I don't think they will ruin their reputation in case, because they are just new.

So why did you post their project? Up until now, seems that it has not gain interest from the community here. Do you have communication with the team? Maybe ask them to create account in this forum so people can directly ask questions from them. It is hard to get their side if they don't have any rep here.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 31, 2021, 11:52:58 PM
Sorry to say that  more than 300+ athletes already affected by COVID-19 hence they can't participate in the Olympics. What's a miserable conditions for them !!! All hops and attempts vain in coronavirus pandemic situations.
Yeah, there's a spike during the Olympics in Tokyo but the organizers have denied that it's not because of the games that has been held. But obviously, there's really the connection of the surge because of the Olympics.

Olympic organizers deny that Tokyo's record spike in COVID-19 infections this week is due to the Games, and that Olympic infections are adding strain on Japan's medical system. "As far as I know there are no infections spreading to the Japanese public from the Olympic movement. There is not a single severe case among our stakeholders," says IOC spokesperson Mark Adams.

This is very unfortunate for those athletes who can't compete with their games. But from outside view, it seems the olympics is doing great, many are getting their gold for the first time and beating the known veterans. I'm glad that this event push thru despite of so many troubles along the way. It is understandable that a lot of athletes are also going thru their mental health problem here. I hope they can recover easily and align themselves again with their goals in life. What surprised me is the withdrawal of Simone Biles in the finals. Wish her the best.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel like there is no way to keep up on: July 31, 2021, 11:18:07 PM
Just watching how many hundreds it's going up each day. I really appreciated this dip. I legit dumped everything I had into it. I was actually hoping for a bear market to buy more at cheaper prices. I still am not sure we're not gonna hover around this long dip/mini bear market longer idk.

But just thinking about how if it is the bear market for the supercycle.

With bitcoin going up in price. To eventually own just 1 bitcoin. I've been buying periodically over time...

Would you mind sharing when you first started investing? I followed the same path as you, investing a small amount at a time according to the dollar-cost-average method.

I only started like late last year. I heard of bitcoin years prior but I didn't know it went up over time so I just thought "crypto currency" was internet money. Like, the dollar, it doens't really go up or down that much. (ik it kinda actually does but u get the point)

I feel so agro that I didn't get in way sooner. god... I feel like I'm buying the top. I'm just hoping in another few years it will go up and I'll not have thrown away my hard time/labor. I think it's going no where but up long term, but for how much higher idk. It turned into my "hedge against inflation" to a pipe dream of not being in poverty. That would be nice. not counting on that happening in my life time. I think my only goal is gonna be have a kid or two, and hope I did enough in saving/investing so that they wont have to grow up in poverty like I did.

You can invest in other tangible assets also not only in crypto like real estate or jewelry. You can also slowly buy small pieces of gold jewelry, and you know for sure they have value in the market. If I may advise, don't go all in in crypto. Because we don't know the future here, though we are seeing positive vibes but one advanced technology and this may go obsolete. Who knows? So if you can also spend some in tangible assets, that for me is better and will give you peace of mind that if something goes wrong here, you still have something to turn to.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 31, 2021, 10:35:12 PM
I don't think so, because hodl depends on the knowledge, patience, and discipline of a person who are trusting the coin and the market movement.

You're probably thinking that it is easier for them because they have separate funds for their essentials and needs.

But investment doesn't work with that mindset, everyone who invest are at risk and they are also making strategies and predictions in the market.
Rich people has the money and risk free to hold trades even the market is uncertain because of there large funds and leveraging. Holding requires time and patience to hold in order to get good profits, not just holding small amount of funds that can be easily wiped off with high volatility. They can even trade with sophisticated tools that can help to gain more profits than holding.

And when it comes to holding long-term, I believe those rich people can very well hold off long as they have other means to survive. As compared to an investor who basically is relying on the possible profit of his holdings to survive. So for me, the factor of wealth is important also when it comes to long-term investment. They can wait without stressing themselves about small movements in the market. Whereas, if you have savings on your investments, you can easily panic if something goes wrong with the market.
607  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bithobo.com — Provably Fair Dream Catcher on: July 31, 2021, 01:30:26 PM
It was mentioned that the min bet is 1 sat, but in the site, it doesn't mention the min deposit. So I am assuming any amount is accepted here. Is that right?

Also, the 40k sat withdrawal fee is very expensive in my opinion. I can withdraw in coindragon these days at 300+ sats fee and just wait only for few minutes. I think, the withdrawal fee should be modified and according to network congestion.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 30, 2021, 11:58:50 PM
The amount of budget a professional gambler needs depends on how much experience the gambler has. An experienced gambler has a very low budget but for his intelligence he has a lot to gain from gambling. But in my opinion, those who do not have experience, it is better not to enter the gambling with a high budget.

And that is why I am only allotting my extra funds here. Because I admit, I'm no professional gambler just a small timer trying to enjoy the moment. I bet only on familiar games and if I know the individuals involved just like in boxing. Not all matches that I bet on but only those that I know of. So watching their match, it is much interesting for me as I have placed my bet. But I understand for those regular gamblers, they really allot big amount for their gambling activities.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: July 30, 2021, 11:14:38 PM
This loss are so degen that i cannot explain it. How do you bet this big. Gambling should be for fun especially in casinos. I still dont understand how people loss such a big amount. How do they even carry that amount of money with them or how the bank allows such transcations
When you do have the money then you can do all things that you want and there would be no prohibitions from banks since you are also one of their big clients and wont be tending to make out some rejections or prohibitions on what would you do into your money.

We do just accept the fact that there are people on this world are wealthy enough to spend out lots of cash into particular things and its none of our business on how they would gonna do into their cash.

Yes, those losses are massive and some do end up on a suicide. This is clearly showing on how gambling addiction would really cost you.

Exactly! If you experienced going inside physical casino with your pockets full of money, you will enjoy your games and you won't notice that it is slowly depleting. This is why a lot or wealthy people can easily lose big amount of money, because sometimes they don't care the results as long as they are enjoying the game. And those people can cash out their money if they do have their stash, and they can easily get a hold of their connections to make their requirements possible.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: July 29, 2021, 11:09:42 PM
It depends on personal preferences, not everyone thinks KYC is bad. But you're right that it makes no sense: why does that casino deal with crypto and, at the same time, requires KYC from everyone? In any case, it's good that the casino was straightforward about that and it didn't came out as a total surprise when you've won a ton of money and need to withdraw (which happens A LOT).

Be careful with that $200 bonus though, read the rules carefully, it seems like too much money to just give away to every user, there might be a rollover requirement or something of the sort.
When it comes to bonuses then roll over is something in default attached to it.  Grin

Crpyto casinos are still regulated but since its on the sense that it is attached with crypto then KYC is really contradictory on overall essence which is totally opposing.

It is just depending on someone if they would really be complying it out or would skip and find another place.

As there are many options these days when it comes to reputable crypto casinos that don't require KYC, if it is important for you about this requirement, then don't play on that site. Because we really don't know where our info end up with. As much as possible, limit the number of sites where you send your KYC details. And if you have other options why not? Bonuses are just attraction from potential players, but of course, there's more to it.
611  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BETFURY OLYMPIC GAMES for $150 000🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 28, 2021, 11:45:58 PM
I did not find BFG courses on CMC???, but I found it on bitpr0.com
This is a new Crypto Data Aggregator focused exclusively on the gaming industry.  Therefore, data on bfg are given there.  I also really like on their website that the data on rate fluctuations are given for 4 time intervals and there is also a graph.  I recommend taking a closer look.
-

Betfury team should follow up Cmc to update their data so that token holders like you can see their updated data from time to time, or maybe they need to be listed on 1 more exchange and accumulate a good volume so that CMC will officially list them on their exchange. We don't know the real score about this and the only one can update this is betfuru team I also want to see them listed on cmc since this is the easiest way to see the price update of BFG token.

Even in coingecko, they are nowhere to be found. If you type BFG, it will only show baby feg.  Grin

The team should submit their details to cmc & coingecko as a lot of users usually go to these sites for easier searching of the coin/token. They can add biswap and pancakeswap as their exchanges. Because if you checked in pancake, you can already trade it.
612  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Gambling Site Directory on: July 28, 2021, 11:10:16 PM
I continue to use your site.  👍
And I must praise the devs!
For example, today I wanted to know the rates of the BFG token.
I opened Coinmarketcap , ... The token is located, ... There is no data except for general reasoning about what a bfg token IS.  Grin
Opened a search on your site.   And here's a great result.
I learned everything I wanted.  I even wrote about your site in the Betfury topic here in BTT.

They are in continuous improvement of their services here, and appreciate their effort for making this site a real "one-stop-shop" for crypto users. I hope many crypto users, newbies and alikes, will find this site helpful to their crypto journey.

But just one thing though, the logo/name of the sites are quite blurry. Is it my computer or it really needs editing?

613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino top news on: July 28, 2021, 09:48:50 PM

Hey mate it's only a picture not a Link. Nowadays people are avoiding online faucet because it's a fully waste of time and labour because faucet amounts can't be withdrawal. Only who don't know anything about faucets , he would create an account and spending time with faucets but legend never trap on faucets.

If he is promoting this site - https://bitcoincasinotop.com/, better change the link on the OP. A lot in his top list of best bitcoin casinos are unfamiliar in this forum. And unfortunately, 1xbit made at the top 4 in the list of top btc sportsbooks and casinos. If the owner of this site will read the feedback/reviews in this forum towards 1xbit, I hope they will change their mind and not include it in their top 4.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: July 27, 2021, 11:49:48 PM
Everyone knows that many have invested in ERC20 tokens from the Ethereum platform, but do you intend to invest in TRC20 tokens from the TRON platform, if "YES" what token did you buy and please include the reason as well.
investing in TRC20 which has the same concept as other altcoins is very high risk, I don't recommend doing that, it's better you can buy coins like bitcoin and ethereum or BNB which in my opinion are more promising and definitely profitable because they have useful projects many people and of course can increase the price of the coin on the exchange and make a profit for investors.

Not investing in TRC20 tokens, but on TRX itself. I have my TRX in locked savings so while waiting for it to increase its value, I am earning a lil bit from the interest. I believe TRX is also good in your portfolio because it has cheap tx fees and fast. It is like old doge before, where you can use for transfer purposes. Now, for me, TRX is a very good candidate for transfer purposes - from one exchange to another or any other site. You will incur very small fee at faster rate of receipt.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 27, 2021, 11:18:00 PM
I think the biggest risk isn't the games itself anymore but the big streamers on Twitch and YouTube. Almost all of the youngster these days spend a lot of time on these streaming platform, and if they see their favourite players to actually gamble online, they want to do the same. It is very hard to explain to kids these days that what they see on the Internet is not real. As parents there is no way to constantly supervise the kids and the line between gaming and gambling is disappearing.

Even if it's hard to keep up on what these kids are watching we should still keep, check the history of what they are surfing, and if you have a good anti-virus that can block certain sites, then block all these sites that you think can harm your children, we don't want our kids exposed to gambling at a very young age, this is too risky and we will regret later if the kids gets hooked on gambling at a very young age.

I do agree, if you can block certain sites that would be great. Because these days, youngsters can easily be influenced by social media or their peers. If you can't track their activities, better also to instill on them about the significance of money and how gambling may affect their lifestyle in the future. You need to lay out the consequences involved once they venture into this industry. They need to understand the risks involved.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your thoughts for half year on: July 27, 2021, 10:16:59 PM
After the news about Amazon want to accept bitcoin it very give all of the comunity fresh air to breath, it always be nice seeing good news like that after the bloodbath. After this news it make me more confidence BTC and any other coins can rise like previous year.
Obviously, I also feel happy because of the news, so the price of BTC is now starting to approach $40K again and I am very sure that in the near future the price of BTC will approach $60K again if some big companies are willing to accept BTC.
we need official statement to make sure it is not fake news to pump bitcoin price. This source only from insider which is could be wrong or media just create this news to manipulate market.  But if Amazon confirm it , real adoption for bitcoin or other coins could started in big space. Demand will created which is come from amazon customer.

Based from this article in coindesk = https://www.coindesk.com/amazon-no-we-have-no-plans-to-accept-bitcoin-payments, it seems the news saying they will accept btc is fake. Seems that the insider may be a bogus one trying to influence the market. But who knows, they may really go into crypto payment, but maybe not this year?
But in general, I feel that we are doing good despite of the several price corrections that we have, which is normal in this market. We are now enjoying the above 35k level, which is not bad in my opinion. Only this year that we have this price level. So just be grateful for what we have now.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: July 27, 2021, 08:46:49 PM
If a coin is having very low trade volume, then there will be a reason for that. In all probability, it doesn't have any real life usage and therefore the trading volumes are low. And in most cases, I wouldn't recommend investing in them. In rare occasions, the promoters may trigger a pump as a result of manipulation and it may take the exchange rates to 10x or 20x the current levels for a short duration. Even if that happens, remember that the ordinary user doesn't know when to sell his stash. So overall, it is not advisable to invest in such coins.

Don't rely on the possible pump that may happen because for me, that's not a reliable approach. It is hard to trust projects with low trading volume, because that means the project is not that strong. And you will find out that the trading movement is quite slow in most of this type of coins. And as you said, the probability that they have no real app is actually true. Because if they have strong support from its supporters, they can easily get a very active trading performance. So in my opinion, better stay away from this kind of project, losing your funds is very high.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN][NST] NFT-Starter|Next-Generation Ecosystem for NFT on Binance Smart Chain on: July 27, 2021, 01:36:24 PM
This thread has been posted about 4 months ago and already listed in cmc. But why is there no listed trading market?  Cointiger & pancakeswap should be listed in cmc. Anyway, I think you need to contact cmc about the update in your market. Also, why no interest from the users here? NFT system is one of the current hypes. Maybe you need to hold some sort of campaigns or marketing here to attract potential clients on your platform.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 26, 2021, 11:31:25 PM
You can do this 2 activities at the same time IMO, but if it's too time consuming for you, you should limit the amount of time spent in each of these activities. On which game are you gambling precisely? You should try to place less bets per day and making less daily trades.

Combining these 2 activities is indeed time consuming. If you are not ready to this kind of lifestyle, better know what are your goals first why you are doing these 2. Both can incur you losses, but certainly, gambling will bankrupt your funds if you don't know how to strategize your games. Plan ahead, set your limits, know your goals for the day. Because if you don't know what you wanted to achieve, you will really get lost in the process.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 26, 2021, 10:33:41 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。
Just let him be because high tendency that you would really get blamed if the price would go down. Its his money and if they are trying to ask out then just say that invest on the amount that they can afford to lose.

Its really hard to determine on whats the next target or movement of bitcoin. We hadnt seen able to see some sentiments but having this movement isnt something that remarkable or shocking.

Moving 5-10% is something what we called normal day here on crypto specially with bitcoin. It might have been moving sideways for a while but it could shoot up its price without knowing.

You can give piece of advice but the final decision should still be on your friend. Because whatever happens, you should not take the responsibility of his decision. It seems that they are pretty new on this market because they don't know what to do. And now, that they are seeing good movement in the market, they want to jump on board. But once it is going down again, they may blame you for telling them to buy. So don't give also false hopes, be realistic with things here.
