621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another huge dump happening today, is this it? on: April 19, 2021, 07:54:34 AM
Every month big chuck of the market BTC circulation is taken out to a cold wallets from companies like MicroStrategies and Grayscale. The same with the Tesla, where Elon announced that if you buy a Tesla with bitcoins those bitcoins won't be spend or converted to fiat, so another way of taking out more coins from circulation. Unfortunately bitcoin failed in being a day life currency but it turned to be a "digital gold". This does not change the fact that Bitcoin is way more alive than ever before and it will live for quite long too.

Day traders may loose some money but the coin will continue with great success.

What wallet you are using?
Just a warning, don't share your seeds or private keys with anyone else that try to contact you in PM.
Never share your drive with anyone using TeamViewer or similar services because there's a high chance of getting scammed.
STAY safe :l
623  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for tutorial that'll teach me to use tools in binance.us market exchange on: April 18, 2021, 09:33:55 PM
Just a tip. Try with small amounts in the beginning just to get used to it then when you feel you are ready then you can use the amounts you want to risk.
It's also a good idea to try out some of the crypto trading simulation platforms. I don't want to recommend any because I have personally never tried one, but I find the idea appealing. You will get the chance to use a crypto exchange in a training environment with fun money. You can play around with different markets, buy and sell coins, and learn your way around an exchange. Practice your strategies and investments in such an environment and then try to apply what you learned with a real trade.

@6erth6rind6ain
Try a search engine search for crypto trading simulation/platform and see what comes up. Be careful not to download something fake or malware infected.

Yeah this could be a good practice at least to learn how the market is moving and find wath most of the tools do. Trading is a bit like flying an airplane that has a cockpit full of 1000 different indicators and tools and if you don't follow each and every one and read the signals you most likely will crash..
Back in the day I used Meta Trade to learn how to trade FOREX and apply different strategies nowadays there are many different products out there and you can get easily lost.
Good luck to the OP.
624  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to identify coins with high amplitude candles in Binance? on: April 16, 2021, 08:33:55 PM
You need to analyze the coin, market cap, daily volume, liquidity.
Those coins with big moves are more often those with low liquidity. Those are too risky to trade and there's a high chance to loose a lot of money if you don't use stop losses.
Coins with higher liquidity make huge moves driven by the news around them. Speculatos like Elon Musk can affect the price even on the bitcoin market. We all remember the 8k Elon Candle, no need to say that just with one tweet he managed to move the Doge coin with a few cents.
Other than that you can keep an eye on the crypto calendar, whether there are hard forks, airdrop, important partnerships, network upgrades, etc all those big indicators move the price up, sometimes down as well.
How to make money easily, buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying.
625  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for tutorial that'll teach me to use tools in binance.us market exchange on: April 16, 2021, 08:06:52 PM

another tip, the editable charts used in Binance are with tools from tradingview website. There you will find most of the tools needed to analyze the market. It's great and powerful tool  and much better than the crippled one on Binance.
My last tip. Don't buy blindly tickets just because are recommended by some anonymous Twitter guy with a few thousands followers. Always check what's behind the ticker and see if this project actually solves existing problems.

Stay away from pump&dump groups, you'll most likely be losing money there and it's not ethical as well.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TLM on Binance. on: April 13, 2021, 12:21:12 PM
$BNB is not only a coin for Binance purchase and saving fees, it's a bit more complicated that it seems. They have a separate blockchain Binance Smart Chain or BSC on which are launching many different projects especially crosschain projects which have a great success at the moment. It's kind of competitor to ETH blockchain but with cheaper fees. CZ is a smart man and Binance is not only a exchange.
This is only my opinion from the observation I had over the platform for the past 3-4 years.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TLM on Binance. on: April 13, 2021, 10:43:28 AM
In this type of bull market all those projects listed on Binance normally shoot to the sky. Most of the people don't know what they are buying, only looking at the ticker and follow twitter "traders" shilling it. Even the pump&dump groups are still a thing. The greed pushed many to the limit.
After the bull run we will see which one will still be around... and which one will turn to be a scam.
628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happen here?! on: April 12, 2021, 09:32:40 AM
Big sale at market's price is what can cause this to happen. I don't know what coin you are talking about but this kind of sells are happening from time to time. There's a phrase: "catching falling knives", you set a buy limit order much below the price with the hope that some whale will market sell and fill all the buy orders all the way down to your one. This often happens for a few seconds where you have a big liquidity, of course it depends what coin and liquidity.

Thank you for the great time and fun once again.
630  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBusters! Busting rule-breakers constantly. on: March 30, 2021, 10:17:21 PM
Maybe I didn't post clear enough but the stats as you said are for people sending merit to accounts which eventually got banned. Thanks for the shared time. I'm on the phone and this kind of research is way more easily done on a pc instead of mobile.
I noticed the other names but I wasn't sure now seems there might be connection in between those accounts. Possibly an account farm? Ill be away for a couple of days and with no access to PCs.
Maybe this is a job for Cryptios @Rizzrack?

As I said there's something fishy there.
631  Other / Meta / Re: #meritislife: how to be notified on a smartband of merits and mentions on: March 30, 2021, 08:47:28 PM
I love the mi 5 it's great i don't see so big change, the bigger screen will use more battery so Sad.

632  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBusters! Busting rule-breakers constantly. on: March 30, 2021, 07:46:16 PM
I don't know if you guys are keeping eye on the merit senders to banned users but this one looks suspicious : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2762272
Most of the top senders are merit sources and its acceptable to send sometimes to accounts that look promising but turn out to be plagiarists or crossing the rules somehow. But this guy is not a merit source at least I could not see is as one. He has sent merit to 19 banned users based on the stats from theymos : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsendban

If anyone has the time to make a little deeper check I'll appreciate it Smiley looks quite fishy to me. There are other people in the list with aslo interesting stats..
633  Other / Meta / Re: Password Visible Option on: March 30, 2021, 07:00:14 PM
There's another option to use a safe method for logging in and not worry about the copy/paste malware. KeePass I a perfect tool, you store your credentials in the program and when you log in you just use the autofill option. It's perfect for keeping btc addresses so no virus can access the info because no clipboard is used.
People say that keeping passwords protected with only one password is not a good way,  but the program is well protected against bruteforce and in the same time doesn't keep the key file and the database on the same place. You can also use a hardware key for additional security.
634  Other / Meta / Re: Being helpful - answer question with a link but still get the comment rejected on: March 30, 2021, 02:09:29 PM
I get there's a lot of spam on this site but when you generally answer someone question and drop a non-affiliate link why do some replies get rejected?

Read the rules, no ref. links are allowed. There's a lot of spam, that's true but there's a button in the lower right corner of each post "report to moderator", if you see anything that does not fit the rules, feel free to hit that report link and make this place a better one.
Oh yeah, Ref links are allowed only in the signature, but to have a signature you need to either pay or develop your account.

635  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: March 30, 2021, 12:49:07 PM
I guess it's not possible to stake now

No, I guess you didn't understand the idea of the tread. You can stake anytime an address, the earlier you do it the better it is. You can also stake a few addresses in case you loose control of one of them spreading the risk is always a good approach.
Doesn't really matter the address you stake ( as long as it's not some shitcoin address) if you can sign a message from it then you are all good.
This again is not mandatory, it's only to improve your security.
636  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Eth wallet not able to send coins due to error. EIP-155 on: March 28, 2021, 10:52:26 AM
There is an answer on the Google play store when you check the reviews of the Mycelium wallet app.
Many are complaining about the issue and the dev.team is responding that they are trying to fix it ASAP this gives me the impression that they haven't given up on fixing the issue.
See one response below.

I have a small amount stuck there and it's not crucial but I understand the frustration that this situation brings to the people.
637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $20K to invest in coins - Where to start? on: March 26, 2021, 02:03:30 PM
Hello there,

My friend is going all in with crypto world but he hasn't any clue about crypto world ...

Just an advice. Never go ALL IN in anything! Human emotions are very difficult to control when it comes to money so you and your friend basically have to train not to sell in fear to loose everything because that's what most people are doing and get rekt.

When you are scared and sell is when the trained trades buy...

When there's hype then there will be a correction so don't buy the top, if you missed it, just wait to for the correction/dip to enter.
People are spreading the risk buying bitcoin every week for example for months.

Staking sats is the best way Smiley
638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have "$x" what shoud I buy Tweets... on: March 26, 2021, 01:51:56 PM
There actually some people who really put time and effort to research some starting up projects. I guess small part of those "influencers" are looking for new fresh projects with a bright future to invest into and not making too much of a research, just picking coins from the responds, but those people a like 5% of all the mass.
Generally this is just a marketing trick to increase their followers. People tagging popular and not so popular coins to those posts bring more people to those posts and some of them actually follow the OPs.

Back in 2017-2018 there was a big purge in the crypto field and many shill accounts were blocked from twitter especially those participating in twitter bounties shilling scammy projects... I'm pretty sure we will see the same happening in this bull run too.
639  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Mycelium Eth wallet not able to send coins due to error. EIP-155 on: March 25, 2021, 10:30:24 PM
I'm not sure if thats the correct section to post since the issue is with ETH wallet not the BTC one but since this is the official Mycelium app section I'll give it a try, the mods have the final word.

I found some Eth on my old phone with mycelium so I tried to moved them out of there to a Trustwallet one but I got an transaction error saying the following

Quote
Only replay-protected (EIP-155) transaction allowed over RPC
Seems like I'm not the only one who has the same problem.

https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet-android/issues/591

The team is working on to fix the issue so if you have any locked funds because of this error it's just a matter of time to get a fix.
640  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: March 23, 2021, 02:58:14 PM
I would post it if I get some money for doing this

Haha, this is made for to increase the security of your account, in case you can't log in anymore and you have no access to your email which you used to register here, and there are many cases like this, not only hacking but email providers disappearing as well, signing a message from the address that you stake here can actually gain access to your account. This is the safest way to secure your account if you keep your private keys private.
