Devon Conway got out almost at the time you made the post. New Zealand was well on front foot, but the wicket of one of their best batsmen pulled back some momentum for the Indians. And it was Ishant who took the wicket of Conway. Before the playing XI was announced, there was a lot of debate about replacing Ishant with Siraj. But I was against that idea, because Ishant is one of the most experienced pacers in the Indian lineup and I thought that he will be more effective under the English conditions.
The momentum is still with New Zealand and i thought the Indian pace bowlers will trouble the New Zealand batsman like Kyle Jamieson did to the Indian batsman but Jasprit Bumrah was disappointment while Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami bowled well and Mohammed Shami was unlucky as there were some tough chances when he was bowling.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought £700 worth of a cryptocurrency I don't know much about, is this moonshot? on: June 19, 2021, 11:59:28 PM
If you start investing in cryptocurrencies just because you saw some advertisement then you will not trade in the market for a long period of time because you will be burning enough money so that you will never return again to try your luck. I am not aware of the project in which you invested and there are literally thousands of new coins coming out monthly and it is hard to follow everything.

Before investing you need to learn about them, check out their team and lean about their plans and if you are convinced that they will deliver then you can invest and i am not sure how much time you spend to research about them before investing.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real reason I got into bitcoin on: June 19, 2021, 11:47:19 PM
~
Personally I think it's much better than other big risk investments. because for long term bitcoin is very worth it.
Usually majority stay away from big risk investments and the reason why you see more investments coming in is because they expect to make a fortune and if they could time their entry point perfectly they could make a huge profit in a short period of time. Till now the cryptocurrency market gave everyone the opportunity to invest at a good price and if you were smart enough to invest during that time you could have made a huge profit by now.

It's better to watch the game of West Indies and South Africa. Windies are in trouble now. Maybe they will loss this second test match too.
I expected West Indies to struggle against genuine pace bowlers like Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada and they will be taking majority of the wickets but the spinner Keshav Maharaj took a couple of wicket and Wiaan Mulder who is a part time bowler took 3 wickets in the 4 overs he bowled which surprised me and West Indies are all out for 149 runs and this game is sealed in South Africa's favor.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: USD Inflation over the last century. Bitcoin can protect you even in the US. on: June 19, 2021, 10:23:17 PM
~
I see that bitcoin rises is bringing up this discussion about inflation again, and I see this discussion all over the place.
The price rise in Bitcoin is not the reason some of the financial experts are talking about inflation and how it could lead us to the next recession but the actions by the government in the past one year who took major drastic decisions which will hurt the economy and the recovery process is going to take a long time and during this period some of the government were printing more money which is not going to help either.

It is really difficult to predict what the next 5 years will be, we might see another wave of the virus or a new mutation and then the economic situation is getting worse along and the unemployment rates are rising globally and the recovery wont be easy.
626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 13k. FORECAST on: June 19, 2021, 09:06:37 PM
As many of the members have speculated here, the 30k$ support is crucial as well as psychologically important. If that breaks then it will be a Dejavu situation for some holders and they are probably going to sell in order to get back in when there is a bottom. In my opinion, I don't think that BTC will break that support. The feeling is strong with Bulls and we might see a run sooner or later.
It is always risky to sell off the coins and think about entering at a later time unless we are in a complete bear market. Right now we are having good support at $30k and hopefully it will be like that for a long time and for over a month we are trying to break the resistance at $40k and if the market is like this for a while and if there is no major sell off then the market will attempt to touch the all time high valuation before the major correction.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The notion that “Ethereum is a shitcoin” is passé in 2021. on: June 18, 2021, 11:59:15 PM
How can people like Max Keiser and Tone Veys still call Ethereum a shitcoin? I get all of ETHs flaws, but it is a working function product. Stablecoins are useful. DEXs are useful. These people are starting to sound like the Peter Shiffs of Bitcoin.
Fundamentally there is nothing wrong in the statement as ETH is used to create shitcoin and it is a platform to spam the cryptocurrency space and added with the flaws and the network issues and the higher transactions charges what do you expect anyone to address them.

Wouldn’t these people root for DEXs to succeed? They love that Bitcoin is decentralized, DEXs are certainly less centralized than Coinbase.

The only issue back in the day was the low liquidity but now things have changed and there are many DEX with good liquidity.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 18, 2021, 10:33:56 PM
I’ve been reading up on bitcoin and saw that Tim Draper estimates the price will hit 250k in 2022. I honestly could never afford a ton of bitcoin even now at 37k but I could afford three. It would be a lot of my savings, not all, but a majority. Is it worth it to spend almost 111 thousand dollars buying three bitcoin? Will it make me back a substantial amount more money? Please help!
You cannot listen to some random advisors and expect that the market would follow what they are predicting. If you are planning to invest right now there are two possible scenarios, if the market goes down all you have to do is to wait for a much longer period of time to book your profit and you should never sell your coins at a loss. We might reach these $250k but we cannot set a timeline when those valuation will be touched.

WTC final first day is washed out and the match goes to the extra day, not sure what will be the weather condition in the next 5 days.
As per the weather forecast we could see the match tomorrow and day after tomorrow as the weather is shown as cloudy but there is a forecast of heavy rainfall on Monday, so expect one more day getting washed off if that happens and the long awaited match will end up in a draw and the WTC will be shared between New Zealand and India and the fans will miss a great contest between the top two teams in a neutral ground.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 18, 2021, 08:19:39 PM
Hmmm...  Interesting.  I wonder why Stake wants everybody to bet on Marlon Vera...  Are they trying to balance the action in their book?  Some whale or group of whales prolly made a huge bet on Davey Grant?  The line did move from 3.20 down to 2.70.
I thought about placing a bet on Marlon Vera but then i have my doubts because when they faced each other for the first time Davey Grant got the victory and the odds looks really attractive to place a bet on Davey Grant to win and may be because of this factor and the fact that Davey Grant is coming into this fight on a three fight winning streak while Marlon Vera returns after his defeat against Jose Aldo.

Ashwin and Jadeja are allrounders and capable of adding extra 40-50 runs on the scorecards together. Extra 50 runs down the order matters when you're up against the quality bowling lineup in case of any batting collapse. Let's see what happens.
I am surprised that India picked the team and included two spinners when the pitch would help the fast bowlers in the first three days as pet the curator who prepared the wicket, Ashwin and Jadeja will pack the tail end with batting power and the toss is going to be crucial and with two spinners in the team India might choose batting if they win the toss then only they can exploit the spinners in the final two days.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚽Ronaldo / Coca-Cola/ Bitcoin ₿ on: June 17, 2021, 10:00:29 PM

Coca-cola was pretty good when they were paying him, now that he doesn't receive checks from them he drinks water. Wait till Pepsi bribes him with a few million!
So that is what happened, if he is paid to do then he is happy to promote them but i wonder whether UEFA will take any action against him because they are the official sponsors and that only action by Ronaldo cost them billions in the share market.

We do not need anyone promoting Bitcoin and we have seen many in the past who promoted and we jump to their tune because they are promoting our coin but then they will turn against Bitcoin for different reasons.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: June 17, 2021, 08:33:34 PM
If vaccination is safe enough, this pandemic will end early and there is no need for the government to require people to wear masks when going out and try to stay home until the government announces the latest safety and information, such subjectivity can create new waves of the pandemic, we should pay attention.
The problem is that there are countries with huge populations that are not vaccinated like they did in the US, people needs to take precautions as the virus is mutating faster than expected and everyone needs to be careful about it, locking down everything will not solve the issue, either the government needs to lockdown and vaccinate everyone if not they should carry on with restrictions.

In addition, this is the time when we should save the most to be able to compensate for the economic losses, gambling addiction in this time is unacceptable, entertainment needs to be at the right time, instead of being so liberal
People are frustrated sitting at home and for the medium class who lost their job during the pandemic it is not the best time to gamble but there are people with money and they need to relax their mind  Tongue.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 17, 2021, 05:43:22 PM
After the Mayweather VS Paul fight many are at dismay on the poor performance of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and many had analyzed the thing that is happening to the entertainment now that this is just one big collaboration, and knowing the way how a YouTuber revenue this is all just for the show or the big entertainment only,
You need to give Floyd Mayweather some props for fighting someone who is 30 pounds heavier than him at 44 years of age and everyone should understand that he is not a knockout fighters even during his prime and he was smart enough to make millions with that fight.

And now I guess if this whole Jake Paul VS Tyron Woodley would continue I think it will not profit that much as the Maywether fight, because many are now awaken to the publicity stunt the Paul brothers are pulling.
Jake Paul is also in the same route to making money and he is challenging retired MMA fighters and Tyron Woodley is the opponent and i am expecting Tyron Woodley to come prepared as he was always talking about getting into boxing and now he is cut from the UFC and he needs to find another career path and boxing is not bad if he can be successful.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 15, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
I wouldn't be surprise if they go with 3 seamer and 2 spinners, otherwise tail would start from the number 7. Our pacers are genuine tailenders. If they going with 4th seamer then it should be Siraj, no doubt about it.
The first three days in Southampton where the WTC final is scheduled the pitch will help the seam bowlers and usually that is how it is and taking that into consideration especially in the first 3 days of the match India might go with four pace bowlers and a spinner rather than going with two spinners. It all depends upon what the team management is planning and New Zealand might go with an all out pace attack.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 15, 2021, 10:07:01 PM
Pacman speed is amazing, we all know that hehe but the only thing that I will closely watch during the fight is his stamina and endurance.

In his last fight against Thurman, he seemed gassed out in the 2nd half of the fight in which Thurman came back to make it a close fight. I watched every Pacman fight since Barrera and that is the notable change that I have seen in him, he seemed to pause and take a breather.

Being a compatriot, my heart is for Manny but my wallet is not hehe.
Age is catching up with him and what i am impressed is that even at this age of 40 plus he still is the best in the business, if he was in his prime there is no way all of these champions will have a chance against him because he was way way faster than anyone he faced and he used to get the knockout because his opponents do not see the punch coming and he was that fast and that too against elite fighters.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 14, 2021, 11:49:20 PM
I think we have that kind of discussion in the previous days, that somewhat Djokovic takes a dive purposely and then turn himself on like a beast mode, just like what we have witnessed here.
The only worry i had is the fitness issues and i was not confident that Novak Djokovic was fit to play long matches like that and when he went down in the first two sets i thought the long tournament has swapped his energy but that come back was epic and showed that he is still class and his fitness is great.

Definitely, Djokovic is the greatest now, and if he can surpassed Roger's number then he will be on top of the list now. But nothing to be ashamed for Tsitsipas, he gave everything, but the mental toughness is the big difference here.
It is a numbers game now, all of them are getting older but Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the greatest players in history and i have nothing more to ask as they always produce great joy when i watch them compete.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake vs Bet365: The Live Streaming Battle on: June 14, 2021, 11:38:52 PM
I heard that stake.com has a live streaming feature but I have never used it yet.

I just tried it now, and it's good because it's free.
Been consistently watching the NBA playoffs, I just subscribe to the NBA league pass not knowing it's available in stakes.
Stake started the live streaming feature a few months back and i used to watch Soccer and other matches through their platform but recently they announced they will stream UFC PPV but i was not able to watch them but the rest of the streams i used to watch were great.

By the way, can we get a full screen on the stream?
I never tried full screen, will try and edit this.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: June 14, 2021, 11:14:45 PM
Agree, depends on the purpose of having Bitcoin. Holding Bitcoin as a crypto asset has been proven for years and many people already take advantage of this. I don't see any big problem for Bitcoin as a crypto asset, most countries support it. While if we use Bitcoin as a currency, there are some countries that don't support it. There too many limitations of using it for now. So, it is not really effective to use it as a currency.
I am hearing the theory for the first time  Grin. You think the governments around the world like Bitcoin as the store of value and they are willing to accept that while they do not want to seem them as a currency. We as a community shifted from currency to Store of value because of the scaling limitations we had and once we reach the scaling solution we are supposed to be that could accommodate every transaction at a lower fees everyone will be using it as a currency.
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mining plants in China are shutting down. How will this be reflected on Btc on: June 14, 2021, 09:12:39 PM
China has the majority of the mining firms, and the same has made Bitcoin market depend on Chinese economy. Right now things have changed, and if someone is leaving the market then the vacant space is getting filled in no time by another person. This means if a Miner/large number of miners leave the network, there are many other waiting to get in. So this won't make a big impact on Bitcoin market. Maybe there'll be short term impact.
Majority of the mining farms were located in China but how come that means that the Bitcoin market is depending on the Chinese economy , this is not a right statement and most of these miners will be moving outside the country and we are well aware that they do not have any cryptocurrency exchanges and when they had they usually fake their numbers and tried to manipulate the market for a long time.
