621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon's A4 Dominator, 1.2W/Mhs 14nm ASIC and miner, open for Partners on: March 16, 2017, 05:37:23 AM
Man talk about cheap or cutting corners i had to open the controller mine came with the RPI b not b plus or 2b but mine was rusting and old the pins on the SD slot were bent to the point the only SD it worked with was the one  it came with and that was hard to get it to boot or the only one that would boot the miner with any image i found so far that works on the A4 ... .. good fpr me thu i had a b i don't use any more with no bent pins on the SD slot, and no rust ... I put it on the addon board it booted up no waiting sad thu i'm  gonna figure out or try to plug a RPI 3 or any PI into the board , the add on board on the RPI b is all you really need.

my other question is there any open Source Software for that version of CGMINer ?  and i wish BFG worked with it , i know it doesn't ...

just got my first A4, thing is loud, something i wont be running at nite glad for me it's just hobby right  now..

my question now has anyone come up with a quieter fan ?. All ready like it but the nosie gonna have to either find quieter fans or build something around it...
Not that I know of. The specs on the fan are 200CFM, so as long as you can vent 200CFM through the rig you should be able to replace with ducting or other forced air.

so im guessing it can be watered cooled if you want to go that route and have some heat sinks made, the boards from what i saw are your normal type hash boards not like the miners bitmian put out after the S5 ... I didn't open the miner and have no plans to till the warranty is up . only went by pictures i saw ...

625  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: OFFICIAL CGMINER mining software thread for linux/win/osx/mips/arm/r-pi 4.10.0 on: March 13, 2017, 02:40:21 AM
This is in relation to version 4.9.2

Does version support gridseed 80 chips blades miner?
I see nothing on readme!
That hardware support scrypt

I hope that version support scrypt and that miner hardware!

I need know the following setting in command line:
1) enable scrypt
2) auto detect gridseed 80 chips blades and as well other related settings I need providing
3) Pool information

Will be great receiving code containing the above!

If latest version support the above let  me know as well!

like he said CGMINER in it present state only does SHA256 coins with no support offered for ALt coins or any kind of Script coins beyond your version but you can mine SHa256 alt coins with CGMNIER even this version with out issue i do it all the time, but I use it mostly to mine BTC ,,  I'm being nice SO, don't ask for support here for alt coins, you more then likely won't get any support for any kind of alt coins here and told you won't in worse words then mine .  just a heads up before you try to push the Issue ....

627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Byuing Baikal miners on Alibaba? on: March 13, 2017, 01:19:57 AM
ill bet the 10 k one was from  EastShore Sells there not as greedy as you think they want us to buy off there Webb store they want to stop selling on Alibaba , because of what they have to pay to sell on Alibaba..they use Alibaba for free or all most cost free adds and sell just enough to keep the cheap adds, so i was told, i just bought a A4 136 MH B3 with a controller NO PSU  (which I don't need i have tons of PSU'S from my S5 farm i used to have ) that can sell in the US for 100 to 200 for the controller a lone and the miner with no controller for 1099 US the cheapest i could find , in the US with no PSU  off there Webb store for 799 total cost with shipping was 863 from China,  due here Wednesday according to UPS tracking they seem very honest and legit and have some really good prices on there Webb store. most stuff is out stock atm  but i was told they have a lot more coming to stock soon .. for Baikal miners i would buy direct any way only reason i bought the A4 from  EastShore Sells was because INNOSILICON makes you buy 5 to 10  of the A4 280 MH version, if you try to buy  direct from them, I do mining for fun and all ways have and not gonna attempt to get a loan for that much unless i plan on setting up a big farm, not in my home ..

 http://www.baikalminer.com/

300 bucks for the mini X11 miner direct buy, form what i see, you can buy just one if that's all you want .. when i have the cash im gonna get two of the minis and let them run 24/7 solo ....while the rest of my farm pool mines some place ..
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: March 13, 2017, 12:58:12 AM
I haven't tested this miner but I think it is good with it's price and by the way it's bitmain. One great side of this miner is that on market there was already baikal miner, dash miner and some etc things, also despite that fact people were using gpus. Now that means that leading miners seller, bitmain is going to come here, in altcoin section and I think we with that passed way, we will get great competition.

for sure but don't rule out GPU miners they will still be used count on that at one point they seemed dead but not any more ...even CPU's to some extent i don't CPU mine  but they  are good to use, i would rather use ASIC MINER'S but hey it's all fun and works !!!!

My plan is to buy one or two L3's soon, i just bought a A4 136 MH batch 3  for 799 with a controller, due here Wednesday according to ups tracking, total cost with shipping was 863 way less then any  place, i found selling them .. I was able to buy the A4 and two more GPU and have been buying a about one GPU per month for the last 7 or so month and not stopping till i have 4 full GPUS rigs of 4 to 6 , my farm is building slowly ..

o yea bought two of the 2400 watts PSU http://www.ebay.com/itm/252701978823?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT going for 44 bucks off ebay they are pretty awesome no noise from the fans yet all i hear is the fans of my miners ... they came brand new gonna get two more soon ...and get ride of all the used server PSU i have, i won't need them with these PSU's.

629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: March 12, 2017, 11:10:45 PM
not sure why but it started working after a few reboots and re installs, of the main software and remote agent,  so far on 2 rigs, i shut off the other two rigs sense they showed the same thing in the logs and only run the main PC rig and one rig online I have 4 GPU rigs im slowly building  with 2 Script miners and a A6 which was off  in my very small farm  and i left on one of the script miners (136 MH miner), i know has nothing to do with it, i had that miner shut off in AM in the net work part, that miner is on its own Linux controller...

I sent the logs any way hope they help for later on to help avoid it if possible ...... or it could have been my network not adjusting to the updates at first and I didn't wait long enough ...
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: March 12, 2017, 09:38:10 PM
what email the log is to big to post in a PM to many character's and  i can't figure out how to send attachments on the forums or if it is even Poss  .. even went to Awesome miners site looking for a support email , I 'm sure I missed it if there is one ....
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: March 12, 2017, 08:05:50 PM
I might be doing some thing wrong unless 2.4 broke something using it remotely it updated remotely to 2.4 with no issue but it won't run on any Rigs remotely all it says is starting in blue letters and sets there, if I look at the remote rig with Remote Desktop Connection nothing is hashing, so i tested it more, i deleted all the Awesome miner folder's on the all the remote rigs then uninstalled/reinstalled it on each remote rig manually then reinstalled AM on the main Rig/PC at 2.4 with all new settings and pools it still won't work remotely with 2.4, so i have a copy of 2.3 saved and that works on the remote rig/pc ...with 2.4 on the main Rig/pc.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone bought from eastshore.xyz? on: March 08, 2017, 08:35:29 AM

633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone bought from eastshore.xyz? on: March 07, 2017, 01:07:19 PM
I bought a A4 the other day From them, it hasn't shipped but it hasn't been three business days either so if I didn't get F it should ship by Wednesday ...at the latest.. A few high profile Members said they bought from them and they got what they ordered, was the only reason i gave it a shot, i sure hope i don't get ripped off ...or i can kiss that 1000 bucks in BTC good bye sigh ....if i did .

Let me know what happens, eastshore seems legit.

My A4 ships tomorrow they just sent this and told me it ships tomorrow... they sent two test Screen ......

634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there an altcoin that can still be mined with a home PC? on: March 05, 2017, 06:42:52 PM
XMR or pascal coin can still be mined with a PC and there are a few others but if i was you buy a few cheap Video cards and mine ZEC or ETH you can mine ZEC or ETH On a PC but might not get any thing worth while from Mining without using a Video card/s ..I use windows 10 with out any issue in fact, i have found my cards run better in a windows box then a Linux box but that's a debate thing plus i like windows more so I'll admit im being  bias but if i was really honest i would say one works as good as the other it's what you like more then any thing, i use a modded watered down version of windows 10 pro exactly like the windows_10_enterprise_2016_ltsb version  but mine is legal and Activates with my Windows 10 pro key without all the BS 10 PRO comes with ..
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.7.0] Your next mining dashboard - Networked/CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer on: March 05, 2017, 03:05:27 PM
https://github.com/michelem09/minera

I read instruction on manual install and need some clarification:

I know how put raspbian on SD.

But is below that I mwan making sure I understand correctly!

After installing rasbian:

code 1:
Code:
curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/michelem09/minera/master/install_minera_ubuntu.sh | sudo bash

step2:
Skip this step and continue below if you have a web server with PHP just installed.
Code:
sudo apt-get install -y lighttpd php5-cgi
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi-php
sudo service lighttpd force-reload

When your web server is ready you can install Minera:
Code:
sudo apt-get install -y redis-server git screen php5-cli php5-curl
cd /var/www
sudo git clone https://github.com/michelem09/minera
cd minera
sudo ./install_minera.sh

Questions:
In step 2, what step is this referring to and is it require installing a web server with PHP?
If not then all I need is executing code 1? correct?

Yes it does but you have to update it on a RPI 2 or lower first if it doesn't boot out the box .. then take the SD and put it in the RPI 3 it should boot up .. if it doesn't Id say do a manual install.. it will then ..
like it says here:

 https://github.com/michelem09/minera

down the page some .!!! were it says

Manual install (Some skills needed)

Oyea  Minera will run anything that can run this type of OS or  Linux OS. .. the only thing,I'm not sure about is a cell phone or tablet, it, probable won't  but it will run any PI type or PC ... that runs Linux...

That work.

Does minera work rpi 3

Hey michelem,

when using bfgminer via minere sd, I often get the following nessage:
1) "all pools are dead' while still producing!

In fact, I just restarted that miner without rebooting and pool is alive!

Is message (1) fake at this point and how to prevent this in command line?

Use this
Code:
/#xnsub#skipcbcheck
or
Code:
/#skipcbcheck
should fix it with BFG ...does for me

after the port like this :
Code:
stratum+tcp://yourpool:port/#xnsub#skipcbcheck

or

Code:
stratum+tcp://yourpool:port/#skipcbcheck

code 1
may not work with raspbian use all the code below that im using Ubuntu 16 that was bitch and took hours of searching to find out there is a bug with Ubuntu 16 and rpi 3 it works now after I used the work around for the bug.

i can make a back up of my image and post it some place for you if you want, ill set it to defaults all but the IP,so you know what the IP is, it will be Ubuntu 16 with minera installed on a RPI 3 and static IP set at http://192.168.1.200/minera , i can change to DHCP then you ll have to find the IP dhcp gives it ...

as for code 1 it only works on Ubuntu 15 or lower it won't work to well on Ubuntu 16 because of the PHP that 15 uses and 16 no longer uses 16 uses PHP7.0 .... what that code downloads was written for Ubuntu 15 or lower...not raspbian it never worked for me on raspbian even If i could get it to work ... I don't use raspbian any way if i can help it, i have to many issue and like Ubuntu server standard a lot better .

I think he means if you all ready have a webb server  installed skip 2 then do step 3  if i don't understand some thing i do it any way if it messes up the SD i know better and learned why and understand to me is the best way to learn and burn two SD Smiley ...

lighttpd is a open-source web server ....

http://www.lighttpd.net/

lighttpd php5-cgi is for  Ubuntu 15 or lower or raspbian

Code:
sudo apt-get install -y lighttpd php5-cgi
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi-php
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi
sudo service lighttpd force-reload
lighttpd php7.0-cgi is for UBUNTU 16 or higher and works much better or seems more stable then php5

Code:
sudo apt-get install -y lighttpd php7.0-cgi
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi-php
sudo lighty-enable-mod fastcgi
sudo service lighttpd force-reload

last thought if you do get Ubuntu 16 working on a RPI3 you will need to edit some files in the minera folders after you down load minera before you install it , you have to change a few lines in one or two files in the minera folders that have to do with PHP5 to php7.0 or minrea my not work well or at all .
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Legit place to purchase x11 miners on: March 05, 2017, 02:06:29 PM
you can all ways buy from  Baikal Direct but there 11x 900MH miner is very loud from a youtube video i watched and there little stack able ones are very quite ...

http://www.baikalminer.com/products.asp

Is www.eastshore.xyz legit?

They're selling the X11 ASIC Miner 600MH @ 345w and claim it's in stock and shipping out later this month, but the manufacturers website says they're sold out.

Legit or not? https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/x11-asic-miner-450mh-with-335w-dash-miner/

I did buy a A4 the other day from www.eastshore.xyz , they are keeping in tough and sound legit , I'll know for sure in a Few days , also they told me they have been selling for years on all express the reason they started there own online store below :

The reason we are offering some of the models only on our official site is that:

1. We are trying to promote our own official site.

2. We pay commissions to Aliexpress.

IMO
https://asicminermarket.com/
best place to mine several options to pay with. gives discounts on multiple buy and honest with good prices.

scam site

I saw your main post,: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1808637.0

 so i stayed a way from asicminermarket.com ....

639  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: INTERNATIONAL FEES- coin base waning becare full.. on: March 05, 2017, 01:04:50 AM
I was hit with an international fee also because of 2 coinbase buys.  They totaled about 100 dollars or so, and I had no idea I would be charged them until they just showed up in my bank account.  Coinbase ended up refunding them, but said they wouldn't do it again.  How the hell am I supposed to know if they are charging my account to a foreign bank?

They also closed my account, and then I had .05 btc sent to one of my old addresses, and they are refusing to forward it to me.  Citing some BS that I transferred it out, but the TXID they gave me was from after they closed my account and is their internal transfer to their own accounts.  Such a lame company now.

in internationl fee or transfer wire fee until reach 100 dollar is very big fee and not normal fee
ussualy maximum fee in transfer wire only 50 dollar

It wasn't a wire fee, it was an international fee because they initiated a withdrawal from my account to a foreign account after I made a buy order on their website.

Same thing to me it never happen before if i had known i may not have done it or could have at least adjusted my bank account for it,, if we don't know were they are trading why do we pay ...? ...do a search you will find pages and how they tell you pretty much SO talk to your bank i probable be told the same thing and have my account closed and you know what i don't give rats ass like there all there is i mean they pissed me off ..
