621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 21, 2023, 05:52:45 PM
The analysis is obviously nicely done however you forgot that why we have ended up with investment question mark? This started with some minds who took the opportunity of Bitcoin possession as Store Value and then later turned it into investment opportunities. How? Well they formed exchanges. They told the world they can trade the Bitcoin just like you would do trading of real world commodities. Then they also brought in various ways to grow your bitcoin. For example putting them in cold wallet with #% interest. Just like you would do with your savings bank account. This way, they injected the market with Bitcoin Investment ways and that’s how we ended up with it.
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 21, 2023, 05:26:11 PM

Who knows? It was a trend when the market was enthusiastic maybe when Bitcoin goes to the upside again breaking it's ATH. Moreover, I think Roobet is bringing these kind of games outside the forum already and they're focusing on the art contest that showcases the talent of the forum members. That's still a good thing to thank for, in fact they are being consistent nowadays with it.
Now the team is more focused on art contest on the forum while small events are ongoing on frequent intervals on Twitter from their end but if you say about ATH of bitcoin then I think it would still take time as we are so much down till now considering that point so after having maybe we see good pumps coming up.

I think Roobet should go and activate their Games and Rounds section competition. They were also something unique and were followed by many casinos one after another. I am looking forward to that since they were easy games yet full of fun. The most favourite of mine was prediction games, in that you had to predict the slots from a very tiny image that used to be uploaded. You had to go through thousands of slots before getting right answer. Second best was to predict the number of bets by the end of x time. Just so amazing man.

If there are any new comers they would never know such competitions from the Roobet existed. They were fun.
623  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 21, 2023, 04:15:24 PM
I think publicity has outgrown after the covid situation only. I am not pointing anything related to covid here but before that period most of the casinos were not having sports betting section. Only the popular one had this section. There was sudden rise in the sports betting section on every other casino website. Not only this, it was mandatory for the casinos to add it on their site because it’s now new competition. That makes sense for the obvious reason as they would end up losing lot of users if they don’t add it. Moreover, having two different sections of betting gives user excellent user experience. I think they should add by default all the time.
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: July 21, 2023, 03:17:23 PM
A browser view is really good when it comes to gambling on a slot or accessing the sports betting section. Yeah the apps are also curated properly and has all the features that you would see on the web browser, however it’s far better on big screens. I love betting on the sports on the go but seriously the small screen is just messy for me somehow. It looks tiny. I need to see all the bets and odds clear and big to my eyes. I know that everyone has choices but this is something I would want when I’m gambling my money. Smiley
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your watch list on: July 20, 2023, 06:24:02 PM
I am up with the previous list of mine and that’s BTC, RVN and JMPT. Only the coins that I trust most and can let my money flow into it with high confidence. I am going further with the FUN token as well but that’s just because of the freebitcoins stake offering and its freebies along the way. The utility is growing for the JMPT as they are launching the coin for various micro tasking sites. This way it’s getting earned and transacted everywhere. RVN is in the hot list because I mine it with my GPU and they have great burn plans ahead. The miners preference has also grown a lot recently since ETH went on PoS. I am pretty sure things will escalate to this portfolio. Smiley

I had a friend like that, he made insane amount of money from trading, zero emotions at all when dealing with millions of dollars that can be gone in a second, apparently that helps.
Trading is not easy and a bigger capital you are using for trading, a more pressure you have as well as bigger effects from emotion you have to cope with. It's not easy to repeat success from trading with small capital to trading with like x10 or x100 to x1000 that small capital.

When you are trading with very big capital, you don't chase for x2, x10 or x100 from it, you only need small percent of profit which is enough. You will prioritize safety and only open positions if you see good chance to get profit but it still has pressure. Big capital, big risk to lose big when you fail.

Quote
When gambling though, if you have no emotions then there is no need to gamble, because it's all about getting emotions back.
Gambling for fun is different than gambling for rich and do it irresponsible.

Yeah honestly you can always adjust the amount of transaction in the Gambling but in the trading world its entirely different dram. Somehow there is big role of the psychology while playing gambling games and investing money in trading. You see if you read the last sentence again then games and investment are the prime target words that are role playing here. Games, is lot easier or fun way to portray it and makes it look like easy environment to put your money. On the other hand trading is all about deep study, continuous watch on the market, complicated decisions and much more. So yeah it might be that gambling could feel way safer somehow if you control the emotional part.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 20, 2023, 03:17:14 PM
How much less amount are you talking about?

Peeps are doing 100x or 500x all the time with the tiny amounts like 10 or 20 cents. Most of these high rollers can be found in the slot section of casino. However note that doing 500x of ten cents is not big amount in monetary value but only in multiplication or wagering levels.

If you had seen Roobets or Duelbits games on “highest multiplier” then it was literally common during that period we seen such high rolled. Even it was around 600-700x too.

However, hardly seen someone betting 10-20 dollars and rolling that high.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Farmer's Bitcoin Investment on: July 19, 2023, 05:33:51 PM
Sounds like Bitcoin is friendly to everyone and it is how Mr Satoshi might have imagined in the first place. You know all that comes down to one thing and that decentralization of the currency. This is how it is supposed to be and there should be no boundaries to who uses the Bitcoin and how they use it in the first place.

Just look at the small incident and the advice that changed your uncle's life. He even became the center point of motivation for all his other farmer friends and they also followed the Bitcoin investment. Obviously they should also be taught about the pros and cons of the Bitcoin and how much volatile is the Bitcoin investment. Since they have already got the sweet spot, they might have seen those ups and downs already. Lets rejoice the Bitcoiner like your farmer uncle and hope it grows further.
629  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 17, 2023, 06:10:53 PM
Came across a bot https://topaibots.top/product/freebitco-in-automated/ that can play freebitco hourly faucets and also grabs email WOF .
All captchas solved automatically by bot.

Only issue it works only in Windows PC or Windows VPS.

Don't fall for fit.

You won't know if it's a malware. It might steal your computer data and may be your holdings in freebitco.in account.
Even if it is a genuine bot then it won't sustain longer freebitco.in kicks out the bots as soon as they are flagged by their anti-bot system.
So you are better off not using it at first place.

This is doable? Damn I did not know such programming is doable that can fetch the email data and play a free roll from WOF. That’s really enthusiastic to know but yes obviously having the same from unknown source or someone who bult it for no gains could be terrifying.

I don’t know, I have not checked the link and don’t even want to try it out. I already seen such fake bots all the time and there is always red flag from McFee WEB Antivirus to such links. So anyways we could not even open them if they are suspicious.

Just out of curiosity, is this even legal?
For example, isn’t it is against the will of freebitcoin Website itself?
If it is doable what safety feature does freebitcoin can implement technologically?
630  Economy / Gambling / Re: What other gambling sites offers free bitcoins like freebitco on: July 17, 2023, 03:55:12 PM
I came across an ad on Google concerning a faucet that talks about earning free bitcoin every hour when you click on a free spin wheel, at first I had doubts concerning it but then i was forced to make research about it then I discovered it was legit, I clicked on the link from the ad and registered on freebitco and  I was given 0.0000007 btc when I spinned a wheel, then at the home page of the site they offered me a chance to wager and multiply my reward whereby I  had to gamble  my earnings by predicting against other users on specific games to double my rewards of which I won, what amazes me about this site is the cool referral reward that it offers and was also offered 1 free lottery ticket and 1 reward points for every free btc roll my referrals play, I've had a lovely experience on freebitco so far and I'll love to know if there are other faucets or gambling sites that offers free BTC.

Note: that this post wasn't created with regards to making an income from the above stated faucet, my aim of joining the faucet wasn't to earn a living through btc rewards because I'm fully aware they offer few bits of satoshi's but rather for fun and to while away time during my leisure, so let's be guided.

I am a big fan of Faucets. I have registered on many faucets and collected the coins in one place which is the FaucetPay wallet. They have tailored all kinds of faucet sites in one of their lists. From this list, you can try out many faucets, which happen to be paid-to-click sites as well.

You can access the FaucetList Here.

However, note that most of the faucets are not just faucets anymore. In similar ways FreeBitcoin became a gambling site over the course of time, there are also others that have accepted different types of modules so that users can stick to it.

I have slowly grabbed around $20 worth of Sats from all kinds of faucets. Its not income BUT its FUN.  Cheesy

Just a quickly reminder that there's a good promotion in the last match of Gold Cup Mexico x Panama

Make a $20 bet in the match, at 1.5 minium odds, and get a $10 bet in any sport
It's good to me to recover my loss betting in USA  Cheesy

Here's the promotion: https://duelbits.com/promotions/gold-cup-final

Mexico win is paying 1.63, so it's a good bet in my opinion

For those who keep missing such events do bookmark this page for the future updates because there are many other promotions too which come and go. Right now I am waiting for the odds section to get updated. You can bookmark this one from the Duelbits site: Best Odds on European Major Leagues I am not sure how else you guys are getting the updates for quick promos but it seems for me only suitable way is to check the Duelbits event page so have a habit of either look at this thread itself OR simply have a habit of checking out the Duelbits promo page once a day. Usually, they are launching it when we are nearing to some big sports event so that is another easy way to remember.
I know this might sound odd, but the hardcore sports bettor out there, they know what I am saying.  Tongue
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 17, 2023, 12:29:16 PM
Great share. After long time it was needed to boost my small scale business of Pencil Carving. It’s more or less artwork selling but yeah I am grabbing an opportunity to turn it into a business. It’s small and the size is very limited. Many of them like but some of them go and buy it. But your article does mention how ideas can be generated and turned into big businesses. A simple strategy that I follow is keeping up with my social accounts, interacting with the clients both old one and upcoming one. This forms the best two way communication leading to proper conversion of the sell. It happens to be time consuming but it is the way to make a solid base and keep up with the smart work. To all those who doing a business out there, do follow the OP ideas; it does help.

Most peeps also don’t know how oil is dig out and purified, how Gold is mined and purified, shaped, made into jewellery, most of them don’t even know how money notes and coins are made.

Well, it doesn’t mean they can not use it or can not speculate about it? No one is perfect in every field so let’s call it a highly speculated discusion itself.

Many industries run on multiple layers. In every layer there is skilled crowd and there is general public. I don’t think economy runs with only economist. It’s a mixed version of reality that give rise to perfect economic circle.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 16, 2023, 09:57:55 AM
Excellent. I came to know this word after reading it twice. This is something I am avoiding since 3-4 years now and yes it has benefited me a lot. Same like others here I am so much looking forward to wait for the halving results. I missed the opportunity in two halving processes but this time that’s taken care of. Better to start adding more and more Bitcoins in our wallets.

Preferably start a time lock command through electrum or other preferred wallets thus making sure we do not get the urge of selling out our Bitcoins.
635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: July 16, 2023, 07:33:24 AM

Well, I have some BSW on staking, it's cheap for buying at the moment... I bought some for under $0.1 and put it on auto-staking, who knows? The same it's with FUN, cheap at the moment and I have some fun on the site...  I play multiplier whenever I can (usually when I claim free WoF), and I try to make 500 sats profit (more or less). I stop after that and I buy some FUN tokens with that profit. It's just me and some weird long-term strategy, but I find it interesting.

I guess we can say that investing in some alts (short or long) is pretty much like gambling, there are no guarantees.

If you have some spare change, just chuck them into some. After all, you can't lose much when they're already cheap enough.

Ultimately, I've stopped buying alts (especially BSW) due to poor performance and lazy to chase those insane APR (FUN is an exception). Burned like 4 figures when everything crashed after Kwon's ultimate rugpull.

My 40 bucks investment from last year in Biswap, oh well

This is good to know and adds more trust into the FUN tokens. In my case also this is not happening. I can’t just believe in any other token and buy alts just like that. For the entire career until now I also tried bunch of alts and tried my luck but every time it failed. Whether you I earned it from the airdrops, bounties on the forum, or bought right from the exchangers. I accumulated them in bulk because they were priced less and only profited us when held in the Bulk. Now with the bad experiences with these investment I have finally came to only two tokens that is FUN and RVN. In that also FUN, because it’s primarily backed up by major exchangers and mainly FreeBitcoin. So let’s just be thankful to this and enjoy the treats.
636  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 05:05:08 AM
So does this mean that there is a loophole here and the money launderers can easily by pass this wagering requirement?

I think this is why we have KYC verifications and wagering requirements when entering in a casino and multiplying hundreds thousand dollars just like that.

If you check deposit bonuses or promos then they will always have wagering requirement so that means you will have to multiply your money to specific times and then you would be eligible for the withdrawal limits or else your money is stuck on the casino. This is one of the fraud protection practice.

The second that id wel known to all of us, KYC at different levels. Many of them have segregated the KYC levels according to the money that is being wagered.

This is refresher actually, this is discussed many times in different threads.
637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 16, 2023, 04:45:50 AM
Though there's no perfect site, but most of them are trying their best to stay on top, I have no doubt about Roobet and choosing this site should be one of your priority.
There are problems with each casino but they resolve it as soon as possible that's the sign of legit casino although there are fake allegations against all of them by players who have lost on their own so we don't consider them at all but it takes time to have real image and build trust over community.

It is hard to build to good a good reputation and takes time but you can very quickly loose it. Every casino will have allegations against it and every case needs to be checked. While most of them will not be legit, some will be valid and need to be handled in a good way and Roobet is doing a good job in that.

I am not sure how handling is done but most of the businesses would be relying on their Terms of Service. These are usually drafted very carefully since it becomes the evidence-based system in the times like this. It is also the user's responsibility to abide by the rules and play accordingly. Generally speaking, everything is set as workflow and rules and a casino keeps running by that process.

I hardly think that reputed casinos might be doing sneaky things just to earn a few hundred extras. They already have a set revenue system which is more than enough to stay away from the fraud that is claimed by the users. In fact, I have seen strong support systems where casinos also settle users if it is too much and poses a threat to their reputations. Idk, this drama is long stretched and suddenly came out of nowhere.

I had never seen such stretched topic on Roobet in the initial days. It is those peeps who are now jealous that Roobet has become a giant player in the industry. Ehh, it proves goodness in Roobet. Smiley
638  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Possible hardware backdoors on: July 16, 2023, 04:19:23 AM
You really wan to go down this rabbit hole, checkout just what Intel's Management Engine (ME) and AMD's version of it do https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Management_Engine
It's access to system functions is so pervasive that the NSA required an 'off switch' to disable most of its functions for secure hardware... https://web.archive.org/web/20201201175708/http://blog.ptsecurity.com/2017/08/disabling-intel-me.html?m=1

Great, you just made me more scared of the technology and the computer from which I am making this post. Literally, I can imagine all the buttons I am pushing right now have an undetectable connection with the IME and every command is going through them. It means Intel knows every bit of me as I am living today.

I just read the document that is quoted by NotFuzzyWarm, and it's excellent explanation of IME can be watching you from their backdoors. If they can control our hardware then they can control anything at their end.

Is there any evidence that they can operate our machines via the internet and remotely without ever letting us know about it? If you read this then it kinda started to give the feeling of the rise of machines. Lolz

Quote
Intel Management Engine is a proprietary technology that consists of a microcontroller integrated into the Platform Controller Hub (PCH) chip and a set of built-in peripherals. The PCH carries almost all communication between the processor and external devices; therefore Intel ME has access to almost all data on the computer. The ability to execute third-party code on Intel ME would allow for a complete compromise of the platform.

The reality goes like this . . .

Quote
The disappointing fact is that on modern computers, it is impossible to completely disable ME. This is primarily due to the fact that this technology is responsible for initialization, power management, and launch of the main processor. Another complication lies in the fact that some data is hard-coded inside the PCH chip functioning as the southbridge on modern motherboards. The main method used by enthusiasts trying to disable ME is to remove everything "redundant" from the image while maintaining the computer's operability. But this is not so easy, because if built-in PCH code does not find ME modules in the flash memory or detects that they are damaged, the system will not start.
639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 15, 2023, 04:52:04 PM
Well just holding can grow it over the period of time.

There are other ways too in which you will have to put your bitcoins at work. For example, lend them in the forum. You can also check for other lenders in the lending section of forum where they have set up nice business for themselves. However this needs at most levels of security. You need proper channelling of bitcoin lending process with escrowing of funds, having proper collaterals and bunch of other things. I think this type of business can make you lot of money. Otherwise, just invest your existing bitcoins on mining farm.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Fast Transportation Makes Economic Turnover Faster on: July 15, 2023, 02:33:25 PM
I think we can learn this from mega companies around the world. It’s true fact because most of the giants are publishing themselves with the “fastest delivery” claims and services. Whether it’s pizza delivery under 30 mins or mega shipment through sea route for import all of them needs properly managed supply chain. It’s like soul for them and way to make customer happy with high retention thereafter.

This is why many companies are also switching to automated shipments. Robots, AI programs, courier sorter belt and QR codes etc are all there as modern marvels to increase the supply chain throughput. So I totally agree with this fact.
