641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: INTERNATIONAL FEES- coin base waning becare full.. on: March 04, 2017, 11:24:47 PM
IM ware of all that and this INTERNATIONAL FEES was the first it ever happen to me , I'm not the only one in the US and it all started in DEC 2016 you can do a search on the WEBB INTERNATIONAL FEES- coin base and get pages about this issue ...coin base told some talk to your bank they even made a post according to some that said they would pay back any INTERNATIONAL FEES and took it down within hours and now refuse to pay it

I know i won't get it back and also done with them there have been other issue i had with them ..I think what did it for me is they no longer trade in the US ......and didn't warn US ....

642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.7.0] Your next mining dashboard - Networked/CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer on: March 04, 2017, 04:23:42 PM
Firstly Minera is amazing

I have a small issue, everytime I turn off my pi it will no longer find any miners and I am unable to change or save any settings. The only way I can get it to work is to re-install Minera onto the SD card, it probably something I am doing this is all a learning experience for me Cheesy

if it's not full make sure you have Append JSON conf (-c /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json) set to on , if it is off it will still work till a reboot or turn OFF/shut off and will some times even hold though a reboot because the power was not tuned off on rebooting ..

643  Economy / Service Discussion / INTERNATIONAL FEES- coin base waning becare full.. on: March 04, 2017, 03:48:12 PM
sigh it seems coin base set up shop in the UK to avoid US laws or officially made there US base  a UK home base to avoid US laws and taxes, I see the US hasn't stop that shit yet ...so much for trumps BS .. sorry im little upset because it almost over drew my bank account if i had known like anyone i would have adjusted for it ..

I was just hit with a INTERNATIONAL FEE from my bank becasue of coin bases miss judgement I blame coin base this time , for not informing it customers of the move and there is nothing on there site that says any thing about the move and any kind of info i could find about INTERNATIONAL FEES or a warning any place , I bought 863 $ IN BTC to by a A4 i could only pay with BTC or money wire which my bank doesn't do for over seas this is why i hate more and more paying with bitcoins but will mine coins it's not so bad and i get it faster with less BS if I mine and sell , so now i have to opt to bank transfers with no fee buying bit cons from coin base and it takes 5 days but if i sell it only takes 2 to 3 days for the cash to pop in my bank . i was never charged a INTERNATIONAL FEE by my bank till now becasue of coin base using them to instant buy bitcoins and they basally don't care is there repose, to others who had no idea like me , I don't know yet,how what they will tell me , i put in a ticket asking why but found kinds of info on the Webb, it just started and they told no one to expect it   .... so a warning don't trade with coin base in the US unless you like being charged hidden fees they don't tell you about and you find out later on and you knew nothing about becasue they didn't tell you it might happen which never happen before becasue they now do instant transfer in the UK for US customers and your bank will charge you a INTERNATIONAL FEE in the US ....it's not your banks fault either, if i had known, i know i would have waited the five days or cancelled the buy and look some place else like VirWoX were i know all the fees i'll be charged upfront from past instant bitcoin buys with no hidden cost and they warn you of any possible INTERNATIONAL FEE, it cost but there is no misleading, so far.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate? on: March 02, 2017, 11:04:40 PM
THEYRE HERE!

someone show us benchmarks

a friend of mine received his today but the mobo isnt there yet, if no one else chimes in till that is the case i can provide numbers for the 1700 stock and with max OC

I'll be watching Smiley....I'm still gonna  hold off for the cheaper ones all most bought one of the low end ones released to day on New egg but still gonna wait after my FX 8 core buys a few years back on day one .. I'll let others test them this time ...

for anyone interested  the AMD RYZEN 7 1800X 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 95W YD180XBCAEWOF Desktop Processor sold out fast eta on restock 10 th of March, they still have the other two in stock..

you might find more on Amazon but they cost more then new egg I run a app on firefox that prices Amazon on new egg .
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate? on: March 01, 2017, 07:50:31 PM
Doesn't really matter. CPU mining will never be as profitable. Whatever hashrate new Ryzen processors are getting they will never hit ROI so there is no point in buying them with mining in mind, and if you want to mine from time to time there is no profit (just a few bucks)

are you serious? do some research, it is true that cpu has lower roi but they will hit it... When zec was out the first 2 weeks were great for cpu miners + ryzen should have greater performance and consumption, I need some cpu to my rig, why not buy on which can earn me money?
If you are right why are everyone using GPU over CPU now ? Difficulty is constantly increasing and with low CPU hashrate you will eventually be in a loss. Ryzen cannot earn you money. For that 350$ (1700) you can get almost RX 470 and for a few more bucks you can get another one. CPU mining is just a nonsense. I asked you something last time. Chose cpu and algo and please let us all know what is ROI time and then compare invested money with some GPU in same price range and then tell me CPU mining is any profitable.

first of all you did not ask him but you asked me ... second : on cryptonight the cpu has more profitability than gpu , and there are still some coin mineable only by cpu. the problem with cpu is that for each cpu u need a motherboard and so on , making them very expensive for mining , but if you consider that for each cpu u can pair 6 gpus.... then you are gonna roi pretty fast...

just fyi : at the moment 2 opteron cpus are capable of pulling 900 h/s at less than 100w in monero. such cpu combo will cost around 150 Eur (like a graphic card) problem is that you can
stack up to 4 cpus in an opteron motherboard... and 4cpus mobo are blody expensive....

so CPU WILL HIT ROI , and CPU ARE , ACTUALLY , MORE PROFITABLE THAN GPU , they will just roi slower due to the bond , usually 1 cpu - 1 motherboard.
imagine make 1 rig and for each rig use only 1 videocard.....

here is 6 , SIX, stupid examples of coins that used to bring me not only roi with a cpu but also some serious profit (from oldest to newest )

1 ) BITCOIN (in 2009 was cpu minable only)
2 ) XPM
3 ) XMR
4 ) XMG
5 ) ZCASH
6 ) PASCAL

and this just coz i aint mined zcoin ........

not to mention  that MAGI (XMG ) is still cpu only , and there are more coins cpu only.... but better not to open the eyes to ignorant.... better leave them in the darkness...

yup those boards do cost a long time ago i had one that took two cpu the board cost me if remember right 300 bucks and that was a few years ago they are way more now ..

647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PinIdea.io x11 asics on: March 01, 2017, 06:39:06 PM
cool i don't blame you that was more for others who want it now and can't wait like me  i won't pay more either i will shop around , like i did for the A4 i bought one on Ebay with out a controller for 1099 then a member here i misunderstood said he would have sold me one for 800 so i got a refund but he said would have so i did some searching and found east shore sells and I remembered a few members here  a while back told me they bought there ..

but i had to pay in bitcoin but I get 136 mh A4 with a Controller Shipped for 842 in about 8 days ...

it pays to  shop around ..and make sure the seller is legit ofc

according to that site the x11 dr 3's start Shipping again on  the  27th of March.

just to compare prices i went to all express i think it's called,... just to see prices ..
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PinIdea.io x11 asics on: March 01, 2017, 05:48:30 PM
move to baikal, stray away from the dark side of x11

Have you used any pinidea gear? I think there are pros and cons to both companies, they each fill a different niche in the mining community.

So far I've had the opportunity to try both the du1 and the dr3 and have mostly good things to say about my experiences.

I'll write out a proper comparison and maybe even some guides once I'm able to get my hands on a few mini's.

 i have never tried the dr3, i have tried dr1 and du1

i like baikal multi algo, and at least they have products in stock Cheesy

if you want a Dr 3 i found a site that has them a few member's like philipma1957 and one or two others i know i can trust have ordered  here as well as me i just bought A4 136 mh for 842 shipped here

https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/x11-asic-miner-450mh-with-335w-dash-miner/

or if some one wants a Baikal X11 Miner 900MH/s and can't wait for the next group buy here

http://deepinthemines.com/index.php?rt=product/product&path=43_74&product_id=162

They cost a bit more because it is  US based ....stuff all ways cost more in the US sadly and has for some time.

649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to break the signature check for Polaris GPU - Win 7,Win 10 on: February 28, 2017, 10:17:38 PM
it does work for all driver but for some reason AMD posted the wrong drivers for the date of Radeon Software   433 MB   Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1    2/22/2017  if you can't get them to install even with this signature check and you still want to use Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1 use the ones  http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064&rev=17.2.1 from Feb 13th beta version the release does not have any  .dll or .sys file compiled right it looks like and every time i i try to clean install with any AMD card OR APU I  own i get lame ass error not sure why  AMD is letting it stay that way so long ... unless there in grossed into the up$coming CPU due out on March 2 .

PS EDIt it looks like they FIXed the one from 2/22/2017 file size changed ..

how does a group buy work i have 1100 $$ ( don't tel me to buy bitcoins i love the thrill of mining or the high i get doing it )  to spend i was going to buy a A4 but this is looking better and better all the time with dash @ 32.33  bucks a pop and going up ? ... also right now this is just a hobby i want to pay for it self over time ..
I am new in mining I start like 4 mounts a go on graphic card.
I just saw the group buy and asked to buy one.
But it was a limited offer.
Maybe Bitawn gone make it other offer.
Or u can try to make ure own group buy.
By asking directly to baikal for group buy offert.

ok thanks i missed it , IM gonna hit ebay or Amazon then see whats there ..I have found deals on both those sites no one here could beat, not all ways but every now then it happens ..

There is only two worth buying unless you have cheap power and that includes free power which is not free some one pays it in one way or the other ..

L3 Antminer
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-L3-250MH-s-400w-like-a4-dominator-a2-terminator-Litecoin-Miner-/401251115769?hash=item5d6c6e22f9:g:ubYAAOSwA3dYZerN

A4 by INNOSILICON this guy on Ebay has the cheapest A4 either for the 136 MH or 280 mh on ebay .

http://www.ebay.com/itm/302234570744?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

These two above are your best beat if your setting up a farm .. ^^^^^^^

one other miner you may want to look at is the X11 Scrypt Miner that only mines X11 script coins namely DASH which is increasing in price fast ..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Baikal-150M-x11-Miner-x13-x14-x15-Quark-Super-Efficient-at-only-40W-/132105963377?hash=item1ec2210771:g:zyUAAOSwOgdYr2Zj

if you just want to get your feet wet at first and learn plus  make some cash as you go  buy the A2  by INNOSILICON anything  below that isn't worth the cash they want any more ..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Innosilicon-A2-Terminator-88mh-s-Scrypt-Miner-/142287658506?hash=item2121015e0a:g:wkkAAOSwCU1YrNUz

Maybe my next PC is AMD based.

Never ever will do! Did that mistake in ~2002 Smiley

That's why im holding off this time and buying one two of the 4 cores once there out a month and tested the FX CPU AM + 3 were ok for my use but they had some disappointing set backs if you tired to over clock and game with them other wise they worked fine for me .
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Zen CPU's: Ryzen and Naples on: February 28, 2017, 08:23:53 PM
Cheaper and faster than Intel, that's hard to believe. A cheap CPU is no good for mining because of the overhead
of the rest of the PC. You can't put 6 CPUs in one pc like you can with GPUs so you want the fastest CPU you can get
to get the most from the PC.

why not at one time AMD was king even over Intel in fact i remember CPU wars till AMD wtf up ... then they lost out big time and Intel took over why cant AMD do it again ..? ..

AMD is a lot different then they were when they all most went out of business a while back and i was told are working on the next die of 10nm ..

I can AMD did this or that and I'm sure you would try to down play that so i won't brother but I am holding off for just the reason you stated to see how it holds up this time ..... but to say they can't because the CPU is cheap in price doesn't mean it is cheaply made or it can't handle it beyond Intel or match it.. or it's cheap because of the price ...

Take your fanboy hat off and read again. I didn't say cheap amd, I said cheap CPU, cheap intel is no good either.

The only thing I said about AMD is it's hard to believe the ryzen will be cheaper and faster than intel for
cpu mining. Intel has previously benefitted from hyperthreading and better power efficciency and better
implementation of AVX2. In Ryzen AVX2 will be faked, I don't know how or what effect it will have on
performance. They have implemented hyperthreading but this first attempt will not likely compete with
Intel yet. Can they beat Intel on performance? Not likely.

I wish they could. Intel has no real competition in the workstation and server market and that is not a good thing.

Can AMD compete on price. That's up to them. I wish they would because it would put pressure on Intel prices.

My bad took it wrong i agree Intel has been king to long i have bought a few Intel chips and they are good I guess but what I use my PC for i don't notice any difference  between the two ..

for anyone that cares these PSU are  Awesome very quite  i bought one off ebay for 44 bucks and it was brand new ,, here is my post about the PSU ..

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1791799.0

I honesty thought the fans would be JET loud but you don't hear them at all ...  i did not buy it because it is a Platinum PSU i bought it for the price and watts and manly wanted to know how good it is , i was at Awe .... or really for once something worth the money ...

it does work with the X-Adapter REV 6   which has a volt meter ,I'm using two to power the PSU and a few other break out boards that are sold on the forums, work  i tested two plus the V6 X-Adapter in my post to help any one decide....  I would post were the V 6 is sold but out of respect for this seller i won't .. V6 is sold out on ebay if you want that version you may have to do a webb search that leads to a few places that sell them in the US ...

Guys,

What settings do you use for GG for ethereum with RX470s?

With Claymore, I get 28MH/s on 470s 4GB and 8GB, but with gatelessgate, the 4GB are stuck at 24.7MH/s (haven't tried it on the 8GB). I'm getting that hashrate with the default xintensity of 4620, worksize of 192 and 2 GPU threads contained in the batfile.

Thanks!

me i don't use gateless to mine ETH or ZEC but use it for all my other coins like XMR PASC etc that I mine ...I'm pretty much like most who feel thy are forced to use claymore and before anyone says this or that i don't care and also don't mean it how it sounds. but did have it hitting 26 MH with my 470's mining eth  when i did try one less MH then i do with CM ..  but CM is more Stable atm for long term mining .
