661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 09, 2021, 10:41:37 PM
it's been a long time since I've seen ETH fees as cheap as now, but it's quite late when a lot of investors and projects have chosen other platforms instead of ERC20 just because the gas cost is too high , perhaps the number of users on BSC increased because of that.
There is no doubt that BSC took advantage of the ETH fee situation and some of the projects even migrated to BSC and some of the proposed projects have moved to BSC as well because ETH was not their priority because of the high fees and demand by the end users. Finally after months of frustration by the users using ETH when the transaction charges went high as $70 things are slowing down which is good to hear.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 08, 2021, 12:07:03 AM
Is anyone here does put an actual bet on this match for real? Want to share your betting experience?
There is no betting experience as the sites i usually wage did not have a line on the event and i did not search extensively because the odds will be really bad and you never know what happens in an exhibition bout as there is always a chance to a draw and that is what happened in this exhibition bout as well. I am yet to see the complete fight even though i saw some of the clips.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 07, 2021, 11:24:57 PM
This has already been a long talk since then that if there will come a time that Bitcoin or Ethereum will be replacing fiat or will cryptocurrency make the phase out of the traditional currency system because of the existence of the modern one in the identity of cryptocurrencies.
The answer to that is no as Bitcoin and ETH are not created to replace fiat currency but as an alternative method that can be used. I am also not a proponent that will say that we should use Bitcoin for daily expenses but rather we need to use them for International transaction or long range transactions.

There is no debate about the hurdles when you using the fiat system to send the coins abroad and using Bitcoin is always the best solution and if you are an International trader there is no better alternative than Bitcoin.

664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitMEX will place a bitcoin wallet holding 1 BTC on the surface of the moon! on: June 07, 2021, 11:03:56 PM
"Bitcoin exchange platform BitMEX has partnered with space robotics company Astrobotic to literally put bitcoin on the moon through an upcoming lunar mission that is expected to launch later this year."
These are just done to grab headlines and nothing else, what are they trying to achieve by sending Bitcoin to the surface of the moon, are they trying to be symbolic and make a statement for their business. Other than that i do not find anything useful with these actions other than getting a good promotion for their company.

What ever it may be they will be sending the Bitcoin wallet and then in the future let them do a give away for their promotion like anyone winning will get the Seed for the coins that is in the moon and so on, it is also another impressive headline that will make people notice as well.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 07, 2021, 10:43:50 PM
They're worth the work if the airdrop or bounty you've received have entered in the market and took the attention of everyone. I've witnessed airdrops that have became worth of hundreds of dollars to a thousand worth of money that they've given freely.
I do agree that there are airdrops that can increase in valuation but the problem is that you need to have the patience as it is difficult to identify which project will be successful and which ones are wasting your time. I used to participate in the past but now a days i usually avoid everything unless i see some potential chances.

I only participated in a few bounties in the past few years and i am not happy with the result either as some projects not even gave the coins and hence i usually ignore them as it is a headache.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: June 07, 2021, 09:53:52 PM
That is a fabulous achievement for BTC,as we can be seen from the figure, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and Google have only stepped into the 1 trillion marketcap in recent years, just a  few years before BTC.
So can we conclude that there will be more and more newbie entrants 1 trillion marketcap soon, such as ETH?
The multi corporate you mentioned are services that can only be valued if they are providing the service they offer and the amount of profit they make selling their products and you really cannot compare cryptocurrency market to the stock market as both are entirely different in terms of how we evaluate the market and hence it is not even a fair comparison in my opinion.

667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell My Portfolio for 75% of a Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2021, 09:40:14 PM
I was looking at my portfolio this morning and realized I have enough to convert all of my coins and have 0.75 of a full Bitcoin. It has always been a dream of mine to own a full Bitcoin. Right as of now I only have about 20% (0.20) of a Bitcoin.
Since you said you are holding the coins in multiple cryptocurrency it is difficult to give you an opinion as there are several coins that rallied in the past few months and there is a possibility that some of them will go down as well and if you are smart enough book your profit when the price is rallying rather than holding them expecting them to go further.

The choice is yours on how you want to hold your investment and in my past rallies there were points in time where i thought about holding further for some of the coins i am holding rather than converting them and just like that the valuations went away when there was a major correction. So take your decisions wisely.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After El Salvador, Paraguay Congressman announces Bitcoin and Paypal project on: June 07, 2021, 08:53:03 PM

He announces it one day after El Salvador become the first country to make Bitcoin Legal Tender. Would it be a domino effect? Will other countries adopt Bitcoin in their projects too?
Only time will tell whether these will create a domino effect or not. If a government thinks that it will help them develop as a country and comes out with an positive approach then it is well and good.

In my opinion, only some undeveloped countries will adopt Bitcoin in their projects as a way to protect themselves from the instability of their national coins. Developed Countries will resist and will attack hardly Bitcoin, once it would limit their influence on monetary policy
Let the countries that are struggling with their economic situation adopt Bitcoin and if these countries that are struggling is able to overcome the present issues by using alternative payment methods then expect more countries to follow them as well.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: June 07, 2021, 06:58:00 PM
From what he did! nobody in serious mind will follow him, maybe newcomers will but in the long run they'll also understand it all and for get about their participations.
John McAfee made some great quotes including eating his own body part if the price of Bitcoin did not reach a certain valuation and even when he was helping the scammer and making millions of dollars from the cryptocurrency market he never had any remorse and he was fooling the entire market even without checking basic things and i am sure for him financial independence means taking others money with good quotes and they will be send those amounts willingly. The twist is that in the real world we call those scam  Cheesy.
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who were the morons that bought 60k bitcoin? on: June 07, 2021, 04:52:07 PM
You can not judge them by their mistakes I think in due time they will surely learn about buying on Dips, because it is cheaper, and selling on highs to get profit, but there are these people that are new in the market who would just have their own indicator and I call it the heartbeat indicator were they will buy when the market is high, and they will ride on the hype when the coins are on the green they making wrong decision because the dips have come, and would repeat this process because they would feel the need and just riding the hype.
The inexperienced always gets stuck most of the time, i have no idea who will be willing to invest when the market was rallying but you need to understand that there are new users entering the market and they will always make mistakes that will take a long time to recover. All they need to do is to hold for the long term rather than panicking and average their entry by investing whenever the market goes down and that is the only way they are going to recover that.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Know? - 32 Companies Now Hold Bitcoin on: June 07, 2021, 12:29:12 PM
What is really interesting in the chart even though it is not the entire chart of companies holding the coins is the average price of Bitcoin in their holdings and what i always wonder is when they will be booking their profits as well. When you have huge investment in a certain asset by fund houses they usually book their profit and everyone should be aware of that as well if there is a major correction as these investors will always re-enter again.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 06, 2021, 11:58:01 PM
England and New Zealand ended in a draw, if not for the rain delay i thought New Zealand could win the match.
England played smart when they were asked to chase a reasonable total and i initially thought they will go for the win but they played a clam and composed innings rather than at any point of time looked like chasing the total, i thought they should have tried to chase down the total and if they loose wickets could change their plans but i am disappointed that they did not even attempt to do that.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 06, 2021, 11:38:27 PM
Consistency is not that important in T20 format. You don't expect Pollard or Russell to hit a 50 in every T20 match. There are a limited number of overs to bat, and in case they fail, then someone else will perform in their place. In T20 format, a single good performance from a batsman can give victory to his team, unlike the case in ODI format. So even if someone hits a 100, and everyone else fails to get to double digits, there is a good chance that the team can win. And that is how teams such as Mumbai Indians have such a good record in the IPL.
The format is not about scoring big runs by individuals but the main focus by successful team is to avoid dot balls and trying to score runs everywhere possible and target on the weak bowlers, Mumbai is successful because they have two opening fast bowlers who are world class performers and then their other bowlers are difficult to score runs as well, wicket taking bowlers is needed in a team and they have a perfect blend of players.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 06, 2021, 11:15:53 PM
Their ability to make hype just makes people more curious about fight results with these crossovers. Since the tart of Mcgregor vs Mayweather, there had been more on the line like Tyson vs Jones exhibition and although it's never really a real fight because sometimes it seems to feel like a WWE, people buy the tickets.
When we've seen everything on the internet, I guess people want something new like embarrassing the whole sports like MMA vs Boxing.
After all it is all entertainment and if these performers are giving you the entertainment and forget the stress for an hour and if they are giving then it is more than enough and so is the reason we are seeing these kind of cross over fights and Conor McGregor was the high profile cross over even though there were many that happened but never garnered the same hype and now everyone is looking for those kind of opportunities.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 06, 2021, 10:45:05 PM
~
I do think Logan Paul should survive that round. Unless if there's an agreement that Paul should suppose to act as being knockdown in the first if you know what I mean. Smiley
I still remember the last exhibition fight Floyd Mayweather was part of in Japan where his punches lifted the opponent in real he was jumping around  Cheesy which looked fake and he won a huge amount of money for that exhibition fight and here they can reach an agreement because the odds are really high and they could place a bet for millions of dollars and make that money as well, who knows how these fight plays out  Grin.

Anyone here purchase the PPV for waiting for the free one .
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will SHIBA INU going to reach $1? on: June 06, 2021, 10:17:27 PM
I mean, people are even aware of investing in meme coins. There are many projects that offer solutions that many people currently need and might trigger blockchain technology in future mass adoption, but the truth is, people really like to invest in coins like shiba inu which are actually meme coins. btw, I didn't think that the shiba inu could hit $1 or even 10 cents
People might be thinking would they be lucky and then looking for someone to shill for them so that the investors could make a fortune, Dogecoin was in the same space for a long time and they need someone to actually shill the coin so that it rallied to uncharted territories and made the investors some serious money and that is what some are expecting to happen in other meme coins as well Grin.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth 2.0 Impact on Eth on: June 06, 2021, 09:52:41 PM
Vitalik gives and explains to the ETH community that the update has taken a long time, that sometimes it usually takes longer than expected, when things get complicated, any detail results in the resolution of more problems to reach the goal:
Some in the cryptocurrency space knew that it was not going to be that easy and i never expected ETH to rally because of the complicated routine they are undertaking an one miss step will crash everything. So finally the brilliant mind of Vitalik understood that changing the algorithm to POS will take 6 years, which i had no clue but i knew it is going to be a hard process considering how much application and spam is run on the entire blockchain and to completely shift that in one go is not even possible.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: June 05, 2021, 11:59:37 PM
We will see all the coins dropping when the market goes for a major correction and none of the coins will be spared and Doge is no exception even if all the celebrities starts shilling about it  Cheesy. This is the first time i have seen a growth in the price of Doge and i did not anticipate this coming and even when Elon was shilling i never thought the price would rally like this and i am waiting for the market correction and see how low it can get.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 05, 2021, 11:19:11 PM
If Floyd would lose this fight then lots would really be in question or would be saying this match is fixed and since odds are already available then i dont see for it to be worth on putting on 1.09 which is understandable but there are still who do really hope for Logan to win. Are they blind? Not a bad thing though on hitting 6.0+ odds though.
Floyd Mayweather have a huge ego and there is no way he is going to slip this one, i understand he is well above 44 years and he is well passed his prime and he is fighting someone who is 30 pounds heavier but we need to understand that Floyd Mayweather is known for his defensive boxing skills and i am sure he will be able to deflect most of his punches with ease as Logan Paul is not even a high level boxer.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 05, 2021, 10:45:45 PM
If the Indian batsmen are able to perform then India have the bowlers to trouble any team.
New Zealand also has a good bowling line up and if you look at the match between England and New Zealand they were able to trouble the English players in their home ground and they have a good swing and pace bowling combinations and it is not going to be easy for India as New Zealand is already playing matches here and India is directly playing the WTC finals and i do not know whether they will be playing any other team before the finals in England to get familiar with the ground situation.
