661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 08, 2023, 06:19:20 PM
Those who gamble daily are addicts and don't gamble for fun. You will find them more than those you are talking about. Gambling is entertainment but when it becomes addiction the gambler himself won't be able to recognise this issue.
Very true. Gambling everyone starts as fun and when someone plays gambling they get attracted to it and at some point the gambler becomes addicted to gambling. I have seen many gamblers who started gambling only for fun and now become completely addicted to gambling, and have sold many of their assets at a loss and lost the money in gambling. So once a person becomes addicted to gambling it is very difficult to get rid of this addiction.

Yeah, mostly in poker or specifically any card games that can bring this situation. I am not sure about online gambling because there is no way we can tell if someone has gotten hurt to that extent but I have seen this happening physically. People just casually get started with the card games on the table and they play for the real money. Most of the time they will lose a lot of money and as we know there is only one winner they would go nuts and even start a fight with each other. Seen this in my country with drunk peeps! You won't believe how horrible the situation gets over the period time when same group of addicts meet each other and start gambling their money.

This might be the case with online gambling sites too but there is no way to tell if someone is throwing away their laptop after losing the bets etc. Lolz. But yeah, it should be taken way carefully. There is no coming back if we get addicted to it.
662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Tools (120% APY) on: July 08, 2023, 05:29:53 PM
I am using only one tool, and that's logic with market research. There is nothing that can achieve you profits but the proper trading channel like having market research on the coin that you are investing. The market research is only from trusted sources and not some shitty youtube channel where they are getting paid to do the promotion. In today's date any shit project would invest heavily in creating good-looking channels and promo videos so let us not fall for the trap.

The only valid source is, their continuous updates from the official website. The community that is involved with them and what questions they are asking and what answers they are getting from them.

This can add up a tremendous amount of knowledge in understanding what is the direction of the project really. So that's all. No tradinview, no checking on shill accounts and stuff.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 08, 2023, 04:59:50 PM
Haha, this is funny because it reminds me of something that will definitely happen in my country if I go and buy expensive luxurious watches. All of my friends will start looking at their wrist watches and start asking about the current timing and then they will ask what's the time on my watch. Then they will pull me over with the fact that everyone's watch is the same no matter how expensive it is or cheap it is.

Forget about the status that is shown by the watch. That is just merely a man-made cruel way of showing off the richness. It has no meaning in real life when it comes to emergency situations or some issues which can not be solved with let's say money.

I would definitely save an equivalent amount of money in bitcoin. It has a bigger market, it can be sold at any time that too anonymously.  It can be traded everywhere in the world. Most importantly it can grow over the period of time in terms of it's value.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: July 07, 2023, 06:19:44 PM
I know everybody is not in a same class but still we all do budgeting, expenses and impulse. How much do spend a day? Do you think is possible to program your daily expenses?

This is complicated question because many facts are missing here. In what sense are you talking about? You mean to say how much we spend in the bitcoin or do you want to ask up to what level we are buying it? Further more is this associated with the investment or expenses that are being done in the bitcoin form?

Now you getting what I’m asking as counter question.

If it is about buying, then I’m not buying on daily basis. Secondly if I’m buying then it’s gonna be lowest of that week or month which is based on last weeks trend. Gives clear idea if I’m buying at lower prices or not in comparative sense. This ranges from ten dollars to fifty of something. That’s what I can afford really.

I would extend my budget of buying in case I’m earning good money from art sells or bonuses from other earning sources. Otherwise it’s fifty max that too occasionally.

And again when you said you were sad when you lost the $800 it reinforced what I saw. I know who wants to lose money, but in gambling we should know what our chances of losing money are.
I only lose 500$ and not 800$, Yes I know exactly the risk of losing on gambling is high that is why I’m only using part of my total balance that I can afford to lose but that doesn’t mean that I don’t care on the money I lose since that still money.
[...]
Oh yeah sorry in advance @Coin_trader, it was my mistake in typing your loss amount.

Of course who doesn't want to be rich, but it's misguided to expect that from a gamble that actually has more potential to provide defeat than victory, especially the amount of victory expected is something that will make us a new rich man.
I think most of the people here are also aware of this, they already understand what they should do, and what kind of limits they should stick to not to exceed.

Everyone knows the limit, however, the issue starts when they start chasing the losses. Never ever do that because when we incur huge losses we are in eh emotional breakdown. Honestly losing a good amount of money over gambling can hurt us more than love break up and that's why one should not proceed to gamble during that state of mind. It's simple logic, you start blaming yourself, you start mugging up that you should have stopped when you had the chance and meanwhile, you keep telling yourself that you can earn a big amount of money and recover those losses. But that never happens because we end up with even worst decisions during that gameplay.

The only solution is to quit gambling for a day or something. Do something else, maybe go to the friends, watch sports or go for a city ride or something like that. It can divert the mind and get our heads off from gambling.

Once the state of mind is good, we can start gambling again and then the chances of winning also rise with it.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: July 07, 2023, 04:59:09 PM
This is the best thread so far and I am not sure if Op has already thought about this but they should add a system that will fetch the current ongoing promotions from the gambling sites. It shall also be able to show in one column regarding the promo codes as soon as they get available on social media.

Wow, imagine the fun after adding such features. I respect your work and the efforts that you have put into this as it seems complicated to make that table, arrange it in sequence, adding the code for live Bitcoin price, I know the pain because I have myself added a few tutorials in the beginner's sections, it's hard.

Do you think something like adding promos and live statuses about the active codes is possible? I don't know, but the space of entire page will be the issue in that case.
667  Economy / Gambling / Re: 500 CASINO 🎰 €250,000 PRAGMATIC DROP ⚽️ WHEEL, CASINO, SPORTS, PLINKO BATTLE on: July 07, 2023, 04:18:11 PM
Few bets on this thread are just insane man. I can’t imagine how those two users managed to roll highest multipele and turned their 1 cent and 10 cents in 50 and 500 bucks man. They were literally at the right spot and timing when they rolled.  This is the beauty of gambling world. Your luck and timing sincerely pays your day off when playing on the gambling.

I just hope they at least took out the money and enjoyed with it rather than just placing the bet back again and losing it all. Lolz. Happens many times!!

By the way, you guys should have contest on the forum about who rolls highest multiplier. Since you are anyways giving away $100 for sharing the results on Twitter page.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 08:29:09 PM
Ah well if you really want to consider bitcoin worth something equal then it’s 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin stuff. There is no other currency which can compare itself with bitcoin or it stability. The one bitcoin equals one is like considering the values of every product and services in terms of bitcoin valuation. Then we will see the power of bitcoin and its stable value. If Bitcoin is considered the other way around then obviously we will have to keep thinking bitcoin as highly unstable coin all the time. We should not be comparing bitcoin to any coin or fiat for that matter.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chain-Bet.com | On Chain | No KYC | 15x Win | Provably Fair | Since 2016 on: July 06, 2023, 07:39:34 PM
Do you have plans on having some marketing? Or wont really be that much that effective?
Never believed in paid promotions. If I have to give money, I'll give it to my players. That's why we often switch to 0% house edge.

Did the casino have the same games ?
No. This game is unique and I am not aware of any other platform that runs a game same as this, i.e. relying on last digit of the block hash that confirms bet transaction.

Is this game still active and run without KYC?
Yes. No SCAM. No KYC. We are up & running 24x7 for 7 years now. Smiley

For faster response, join our Telegram Group @chain_bet_com.

I am so amazed to see this thread. I never thought there is already KYC free casino/ gambling site which is existed since 7 years now. That’s fabulous and I am definitely going to try it out on this weekend. So what I understand from the website that simply choose 0-9 or a-f and you are done. However what I don’t understand is how it can work if I can simply bet on all of the characters and still have 15x multiplier thus winning at every bet?

Or did I miscalculated something here? May be you only allow one bet at a time from the single address?
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 06, 2023, 07:07:59 PM
It can create a positive impact to their casino as a good light for helping the needy.

The bolded part is abit weird though. Everyone knows for a fact that gambling site is a business so that means they are making money and of course as a business, they can spare whatever amount they want tor social donation like this but that doesnt mean its unusual or some sort of holy grail corporation or something

Honestly I'm grateful and I think its great that Roobet donated some amount to the Red Cross but thats just it

That is sign of good business and businessman! I love the fact that they are donating their profit shares and it tells the purity of doing their business. If they have reached to this level then definitely it is sign of good business and they want to go beyond that. Let us cheer on this new achievement from Roobet and appreciate the goodness.

Whether it is art contest for the artist on forum, whether it is free promo for the social media followers of Roobet or donations just like this one, Roobet had never failed us with their surprises. Great move and congratulations to the team and followers. Smiley
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Granted 3 Money Transmitter Licenses, Possible Bitcoin Integration? on: July 06, 2023, 06:40:58 PM
That’s good news but we can be sure only if we know for what the licenses are being taken. What I mean is, are the licenses taken for integration of existing payment processors like PayPal, or direct transfers from whole new payment processor via Twitter? In addition to this, it is also need to be known what steps are being taken if they are going to use crypto payments? Since that is entirely different domain it can’t be merged with regular license for sure. Imagine this on global platform like Twitter which is completely on another level. Let us not forget that Elons intention could be to uplift Doge coin which he always had on his mind. So it’s now wait and watch situation sure.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 05, 2023, 06:52:50 PM
This means nothing because the differences will always be there. Whether you choose to accept bitcoin as universal language of monetary funds or trade its gonna be same all the time. It’s simple math, there will be always upper class because they would be holding lot of assets, businesses, government positions, powers to control trade market and what not. They will always posses more bitcoins for example as compared to the common person like me. There is only one thing here to note, you either learn to use others OR get used to being used by others. I am talking about owners VS corporate worker lives here. I think this statement will make you think why there are such differences and why they can’t go out just because you chose Bitcoin over fiat.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to banned addresses? on: July 05, 2023, 05:43:35 PM
I have to say that there are still a lot of things I don't quite understand, although I try to read as much as I can.

For example, I don't understand what happens when an address is banned or blacklisted. Can't you move btc? Can't you do anything with satoshis on that address?
Banned or blacklisted addresses are for altcoins with smart contracts like Tether stablecoin USDT. With their centralized smart contracts, they can ban an address, burn the token in that address.

You can not ban a Bitcoin address because anyone has its private key will always be able to move it to a new address or sweep it. It is a power of Bitcoin because it is decentralized, no censorship. You can not have no censorship with altcoins, smart contracts.

Stablecoins and Blacklists
Tether USDT banned addresses are 895 addresses so far.
PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets

I was so confused after reading what is being asked in the OP. Honestly, it never occurred to me that there would be any concept like banning the Bitcoin addresses. The only thing that came to my mind first is, what about decentralization then? Who is going to ban my address in an environment which is completely decentralized and runs on the public ledger? So the public? How?

Thank God, there is no such thing as banning the address. As far as the above answer is concerned I am now putting my all trust in decentralization one more time. (kidding, I never lost the trust)

However, it's good to know that this can be done in the shitcoins. They anyway deserve it considering the fact that they are platforms where scammers bloom and make thousands of dollars with scamming. More happy to know Bitcoin address is perfectly integrative.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: I cannot go home if I don't make a lot of money now!! on: July 03, 2023, 06:09:56 PM
That’s now how it works when it comes to managing your finances. If you are afraid about the normal life that is lived by everyone then there must be something wrong with what you have been taught. Considering your childhood behaviour it seems you have been under the influence of strict family and restricted treatment. This is usually happening in the Asian region since they are very strict with their children in particular. I am not sure if that’s what caused you so frighten about the current situation but you should change it now.

Make your own new world now. Have your finances managed properly with your income sources and expenses budgeting. A very regular technique thats usually considered by westerns.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough on: July 03, 2023, 05:13:39 PM
Yes this has been the Tag line ever since now and would love to follow it always after having few bad experiences with the exchanger. The first incidence was during the Zerodha collapse in India when I had most of the funds on zerodha. The problem started when Zerodha grew very big in very short period of time. They had this charm of attracting peeps on their platform with easy to use exchange facility, cheap rates of fees, faster transaction etc. However it was deceiving factor to get into it. That’s how I lost the touch with wallets which are non custodial. But after it collapsed most of the funds were ceased and were locked for very long time until banks unlocked them for us. Since then I’m not trusting any exchanger at all.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: July 03, 2023, 04:30:54 PM
Yes, you read that accurately.

If I buy several lottery tickets and then leave my account dormant for a long time, say at least 6 months, and my ticket wins the jackpot during that time.
Will anything happen to my prize money? Will the casino refund my money because I never claimed any of the rewards?

It's just a thought I've had for a while and decided to ask here in the community.

Which website you are talking about? There are thousands of website with the lottery system. I’m sure everyone must be having their own workflow when it comes to defining the timeline. For example, if you check feebitcoin then you will their lottery tickets can be accumulated until the prize is drawn. It’s simple lottery with weekly cycle so I am sure it’s valid only for that particular period of time.

However there could be another tickets such as GT which are valid for period of six months. So in that case that would be by default valid for six months.

The website which you talking about should have such rules, better check and play along.
677  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: VNSR - Variable Number of Seed Repeats - Application in Authorizing the Owner on: July 02, 2023, 06:19:03 PM
The following parts seem contradictory:
Quote
This file won't be accessible by anyone but would be stored on the local device itself in an inaccessible folder for higher safety.
Quote
Let's imagine a day when John is holding thousands of bitcoins and someone challenges them that they are the owner of a particular wallet. Maybe they got hacked, and they had legal disputes. OR some other example that you might be able to imagine, maybe prove ownership in Bitcointalk forum for that matter.

If John owns the private key of the address, why not simply using that as proof of ownership? Similarly, if John is hacked, and the private key now is owned by the hacker, why isn't it reasonable to assume they compromised John's VNSR file as well?

From my understanding, the goal of this idea is to expand the range of fingerprinting sources for the user. This way, if their private keys are compromised, they can provide evidence to prove their identity and minimize any doubts. What I don't understand is: who's the recipient of that evidence? The Bitcoin network understands only concrete, cryptographic evidence. And if the recipient isn't the Bitcoin network, how can that affect the Bitcoin network?

Well yes this would be for increasing the conformity of the identity. VNSR file would be complex data with seeds and primer coupling so no one would ever understand it except the analyser and its linkages with the blockchain. It would be like a file with no doors at all. Imagine the level of security.

The witness of identity would be blockchain data itself. If you read carefully then I have explained how seed and primer forms the unique combination for identification. This also makes sure there is no human verification in this one.

For example, if I sign a message and somebody wants to verify it then they would do it manually at their end. But in case of VNSR, it’s auto responder.

This might sound way primordial idea but it’s already happening satellite DNA fingerprinting.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 05:25:32 PM
I think bitcoin should only be taught through educational system. What I mean is, a technical lesson should be included in the syllabus so that it can create technical base on their minds and thus in the future it would be their own decision whether to go for the bitcoin adoption or not. The lessons could be anything from Satoshi white paper, how blockchain operates, basic intro to how crypto space works and rest. This will ensure we are not stressing them but we are just giving them knowledge about different type of computing language. Nonetheless blockchain is not just limited to the crypto currency anymore but its application are wide spread in variety of sectors where enormous data is generated and that needs to be protected. So yeah we can do that without hampering them.
679  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: July 01, 2023, 06:22:41 PM
The number of followers are huge for these accounts and they must be making millions of dollars in advertising, promoting the gambling sites and other ways of money making through shared profits. This is just amazing to see how peeps have grown their account under the niche of gambling too. This makes sense how big niche is this and how followers are crazy to get into the gambling field. Obviously when it comes to gambling most of the peeps are choosing it as a way to make quick money and try their luck hard. I can’t imagine how his account must be getting flooded when they go live for any gambling session. Just insane.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or not? BTC investors need to rethink their strategy as on: July 01, 2023, 05:11:06 PM
The supply of illiquid BTC has continued to increase in Q2 2023, showing the opposite relationship to the price. BTC's recent pump to 30k caused a dramatic shift in investor sentiment. Bitcoin's sluggish growth over the last month coupled with legal action against the top exchange, has significantly dampened investors' appetite for trading. When FUD hit the market, most long-term investors started taking coins off exchanges to support self-custody.

With these changes taking place, investors may need to reconsider their strategies, considering the extent to which these factors can affect price movements and their profits. Risk evaluation and portfolio management are becoming increasingly important aspects in this dynamic market condition.

Hang tight, because the same supply which you are talking about will also reduce or have a slow speed of emission once the halving occurs next year. Satoshi had all the plans back in their mind while creating this system. Peeps are not pulling out of the bitcoin, they are just making sure their investments are being done properly. Some must be moving the bitcoin investments into stablecoins for the time being and some must be just liquidating in fiat until they seek a good opportunities to invest. As we come closer to having there gonna be a usual drop of FUD and then the market will regain it's position very quickly. One more factor, new and more peeps will keep coming into the world of crypto investments so that proprtiona will again continue to grow and grow.
