661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 11, 2021, 05:27:41 PM
My attention now is on Litecoin as the price now can break $260 while in a few hours ago can break $230 (if I am not mistaken).
But since many other altcoins that we can use for a gamble, we can use that coin to prevent the fees.

I fully agree. Litecoin is a good coin to use if you want to avoid paying high fees for gambling transactions. Compared to Bitcoin, it has a better scaling capacity. Plus, Litecoin is a very attractive investment for those who choose to invest in the cryptocurrency market in the long run.

I love Litecoin but between all the other coins or tokens I prefer Tron every time I deposit to my favorite gambling site, I feel that it is not charging me because my transaction is not even reaching 1 cent, Tron is a must coin to include in every gambling site, it's very cheap and it's instant, you can play right away.
Agree to it, if we use bitcoin, transaction fees right now are very expensive and it's not a good idea to use BTC in gambling platforms as we know that it will have a breakout soon.
So litecoin and tron are one of those coins that should be used in gambling platforms because of low fees.
I won't risk my BTC on gambling platforms especially right now, anytime soon it might multiply so It's better to hodl it.

BTC moon soon!
662  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: April 11, 2021, 05:20:40 PM
In my country every government during the election campaign have the statement we'll abolish corruption on the sports in the manifesto. Is this is common or I'm seeing this on my country. In each and every game, during the selection process bribe is being given. This has made several able sportsmen discontinue their passion on sports and do some routine job for their living.

Same as this is the gambling, more key players are involved with match fixing even after getting huge sum of money after every match winning/losing. Why certain sportsmen have such greed towards money when people are starving to have a single meal on a day.
Why don't they take action against the government first? There are far too many crooked and inept government officials who are simply swimming in people's money. In the sports league, there are many match fixings, which is really unfair to those who are trying to bet on their favorite teams. So, if they can't get rid of corruption in government, I believe that corruption in smaller cases, such as sports, will continue.

As long as people are trying to deceive others for money, corruption will exist.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 11, 2021, 03:37:37 PM
Yes, I was lucky enough in the last month. Before a month ago, I joined a signature campaign which wasn't Btc paid surprisingly the project was successful and they paid thr hunters.  I had got a handsome amount for just two weeks of work. I think $2000 within 2 weeks is huge for us. So luckily I was selected. But it not works everytime.

$2,000 from a single campaign? That sort of rewards were common in 2017 and during the first half of 2018. But after that the average payout dropped to the $10-$100 range (and only a small minority of the campaigns were making any sort of payment). It is good to hear that there are still some bounties that pay their rewards honestly. You are extremely lucky as well, as I know some of my friends who have gone without a payment even after participating in a dozen bounty campaigns.
Yeah, I remember back then that it's really easy to get a lot of money like that in bounty because altcoins were really hyped on that year just doing the tasks but it's pretty hard to find some legit projects because most of them are just scamming people. So if you've landed on the right altcoin and if the price surge from 0x to 100x then probably you're one of the luckiest at that time.

I thought bounty are already dead because most of the time it's just fraud and just scamming people.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2021, 03:03:35 PM
As long as there is money involved in this kind of activity, you should be responsible as we know that there are possibilities that it might be gone due to a losing streak. It's not a good idea to gamble to pay your debts, it will just harden your life and why you didn't consider the 'what ifs' and just went gambling without checking the consequences.

Sorry for your loss mate but I'm sure this is a good lesson for you to be careful next time because gambling is an easiest way for profit and easiest way to lose money also.
665  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 11, 2021, 01:42:33 PM
It can be both, though; I'm using bitcoin as an investment tool and as a coin that can be used without paying taxes and to replace conventional forms of payment.

So, in some ways, bitcoin is there to make some people rich and prosperous because market forces such as supply and demand exist.

If you only keep bitcoin until now, you will make a lot of money, so theoretically, bitcoin is making you rich by gaining income.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: April 11, 2021, 01:15:46 PM
Pandemic have nothing to do with decentralized currency because bitcoin is a digital currency that is not control by any country in the world. It pump and dump without any government permission.
During the pandemic many people thought pandemic is the reason why bitcoin was pumping until now that bitcoin price is still increasing in the market to prove them wrong that pandemic is not behind of the pumping in the exchange market. Many government just recover from the lost the pandemic caused to their economy.
True that but I see the reason why some people might think that the pandemic helped pumped Bitcoin back then since everyone was at home and more people would have invested in Bitcoin then since there was almost a short down of every other aspect of the normal economy but I too don't think that was the case because Bitcoin will always do what it does when the time is right.
Yes, the pandemic is still ongoing, but I don't believe the pandemic is to blame for the rise in bitcoin's price.

As you can see in the news, there are a lot of people who are hyping bitcoin, and there are a lot of institutional investors who are trying to bring a lot of money into it.

Bitcoin is still rising right now, and the pandemic isn't playing a major role in price changes because the market will still determine.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2021, 11:24:15 PM
The most popular response is that most people are unaware of bitcoin, so why would he invest in something he doesn't understand? It's human nature to be wary of new things, but once it's discovered that many people have already profited from them, they'll join the hype.

I can't blame those persons who are trying to warn people but make it sure that you've made a lot of research on things such as bitcoin before warning others who already have knowledge on it.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: April 10, 2021, 10:53:51 PM
It will remain on your wallet for the rest of the time. In my situation, I have a lot of info in my wallet, which my family might access if they find the note indicating how to do so.

Let's prepare for a situation like this because people can die at any moment, and you obviously want your family to benefit from those BTCs, so you can plan on how they can get them quickly. I don't want my earnings to go to waste simply because I died, particularly now that the price of Bitcoin is skyrocketing.
669  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Elon musk 5000 BTC give away scam ad on: April 10, 2021, 10:33:48 PM
Since YouTube is a public platform, anyone can post scam attempts on it, but if the video is reported, it will be removed immediately. Since there are so many videos posted every day, it's difficult for YouTube to check them all at once. The only thing you have to do now is spam report the video and spam comments to ensure that no one else is scammed. I pity the person who invested in a phony giveaway, but it's also their fault for being greedy with money, and it's clear that it's too good to be true situation.
670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You need discipline to be successful in trade on: April 04, 2021, 07:15:39 PM
One of the characteristics of a good trader is discipline

This is being real about your rate of success in trading business. Trading online is same as trading you know in real world , the difference is that you may not see physically, the other party but someone is definitely at the other side taking either same order or opposite order , you need discipline for sure.

Discipline will pull your emotion shirt and wear you the decisive shirt.

Being discipline will help you not to jump into every market or candle you see looking beautiful, calling you out for gains. With discipline, you know that you need research before deciding any entry and to get out when it is wrong trade.

Be discipline with your trade and you see more profit in your wallet.
If you trade through an automated bot, then you don't need discipline. Robot will do everything
bots are strongly recommended in trading because, as we all know, the market is highly volatile, and your bot, due to its collective data, can easily detect patterns. However, not every bot can function the same way and provide you with a passive income by trading, as bots that guarantee a large profit are very costly.

We can't prevent losses in trading, but even if there's a bot, maintaining discipline is a good habit to grow, not only in crypto but in life.
Using a robot often necessitates control and discipline; you must understand the bot's limitations, parameters, and other details in order to trade safely.  Wink
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Pundi X recover after recent token swap? on: April 04, 2021, 07:00:15 PM
In most cases, before the swap, the price of the coin shows an increase and after the swap, the price falls. It is impossible to say for sure what will happen to Pundi X in the future, but having a general understanding of the project and based on past experience, I sold all NPXS tokens. As far as I know, in a few days PUNDIX will start staking on f(x)Wallet and perhaps this will have a positive effect on the price.

Really? AAVE? DREP? With big token burn, price goes up, it is simply psychology Smiley. I'm sorry to say but you messed up selling.
Since the price isn't too high, he can easily enter at the right price if the market continues to rise.

I have sold my NPXS because I had already profited from the recent bull and am now waiting for updates on NPXS, which could see a boost once the projects are completed.
Just have confidence in NPXS; it'll soon expose its true colors; corrections are currently taking place following the token swap; this may be the cause of the price drop.

If you want to learn more about the coin in which you'll be investing, specifically NPXS, do some analysis. There's a lot of information on social media that you can gather to forecast its future potential.

672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt season NOw on: April 04, 2021, 06:49:34 PM
With few altcoins doing 10x already I have no choice but to agree, even Wink turn 240% gains this morning, I wasn't expecting that this sooner, now can be the best time to start buying those cheap altcoins, I've already buy and buy again, I guess I'm set for the ALT season
Yeah, I found WINK in twitter and quickly searched about it and invested. It's very worth it because it was one of the hidden gems that really give you profit, just right and good research.

Now, it's time for BTT who's increasing right now, you guys might check it. #NEWATH

It's really true that April is the season for alts as most of them are now increasing. Early 2021 is just a bitcoin season and I can tell that most of them pump because of the current hype.

check BTT right now! Good uptrend tho.

673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 04, 2021, 06:20:43 PM
~snip~ So I think it's fine to experience it by kids, however for me the perfect age when you take gambling seriously is when the time you're disciplined enough to manage your money.
No, kids should stay away from gambling, and a person should only take the experience of gambling while he/she is mature enough in mentally. Cause youngsters may take wrong steps by being curious and loss valuable money. A person should start gambling at the age while he realize the importance and the real value of money. Your case was different and there wasn't any big risk involved.

Until that kids grow up, they should not know how to gamble and give them time to enjoy their ages by playing many games and having fun without using gamble. The youngsters now become smart and capable of using a smartphone easily, and they can browse many websites, including gambling websites. Maybe the parents need to stay away from their children from mobile phones and ask them to play in real activity outdoors to distract their minds and become addicted to the mobile phones.
Actually it's very difficult because how can children play outdoor activities if there's no one can interact to? I mean, most of the children are now using smartphones to be entertained because most of the child stuffs like tv shows and such are now on YouTube. Parents will probably choose the easiest way to entertain their children is through smartphones and we can't blame if it ends up badly. Children need interaction with other children, as you can see in the show cocomelon, there are interaction and kids want those kinds of stuff. So they can't really prohibit these things nowadays because it's already part of the new-gen and the only thing the parents should do is proper guidance and words of wisdom to enlighten the children on how things work to avoid getting involved in such gambling platforms.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: April 04, 2021, 05:49:31 PM
I've been assigned with a project for an academic course to express my opinion about flexible work schedules. Before I get started on my assignment, I'd like to start a discussion and read others' opinions too.

Flexible work can have a variety of forms, it could be either working flexible working hours, working from home, work by objectives, compressed days (The option to work more hours per day, that way your work week is compressed to fewer days). There are probably more to add to the list.

From my point of view, in some cases it can be quite beneficial, especially working from home can save you both time and money. You won't have to commute, nor pay fuel or tickets if you're using the public transportation. If you combine that with flexible working hours and/or with work by objective, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere, anytime you want!

In my case, I currently have an internship in which I'm working from home, using the technique of objectives. I'll have several assignments  that I'd have to complete throughout the week, and let me tell you, it's one of the best options I could have ever made.

What are your thoughts on this subject? It would be great if we could have some of your personal views here, it would be of great assistance for my course's assignment.
I thought of similar advantages when the pandemic actually started. Work from home seemed like a great thing but I think it's not about the cost saving. At the end of the day you will use the resources at your place which will be equal to what you spent at office also at the same time the lines between work and home are now gone off. People often end up overworking thinking that they are free only. This would actually hamper our personal lives and most importantly the physical touch and relationships between colleagues have been finished. They are pretty important for good teamwork so ideally I don't think it's really a great thing. I have read a few other answers and I think most of the people are having similar problems like me.
Work from home is very effective as you can manage other things especially me who's a trader, you can monitor the current trend of each asset by using the dual monitor. But not all of the things that benefit you has a great advantage for the company. Of course, it's important to have a physical closure with your team or co-workers because you'll also learn from their experiences about the work especially if you've applied for an entry-level job or starter job. You would also miss the free coffee at the business where you work.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin? on: April 04, 2021, 05:35:23 PM
I guess this is a personal thing and some might not disclose their reason why they bought bitcoin.

Since my reason is not really a big thing, I bought bitcoin mainly because of its features and of course to gain profit on its uptrend. Bitcoin is very popular right now and you can determine each individual's reason on social media platforms or even written in the articles. So do you think why we're buying bitcoin? just to join the hype? of course not. It has an obvious question and most of us have the same answer here.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 04, 2021, 05:10:16 PM
this definitely comes a lot to personal preference and 'financial reality" let's say, for some people 20-100 extra usd per week may be not much, for others it'll be a literally life changing amount.
Agree, for some people even though it is a small amount of money but if it is earned every week then still, big or small the money they get if the income is consistent every week then I think it will still change their lives, right. But all of those choices still depend on their lifestyle as I said before, and for me personally I always use them in different ways and it depends on the situation and the moment.

I do pity those bounty hunters who earn crypto but rather than stack them so that they can be potential investors and get more profits, instead, they immediately cash out their earning because their money is too low. So in a sense they are earning crypto but the crypto is not helping them either because they treat it as a salary and not as an investment.  Anyway, lets hope that there would be more signature campaigns that would pay more and help us profit more.
Actually, the forum was created because of cryptocurrency, or should I say bitcoin in general, and they're making money off of bounties because of the forum, and the platform they're promoting is linked to cryptocurrency. As a result, the opportunity they've gained is due to cryptocurrency, so cryptocurrency is assisting them in earning. Furthermore, it is their decision where they invest the money from signature campaigns because we all face different challenges in life, so we can't blame them if they immediately convert it to fiat after obtaining payment. Actually, exerting effort and time here in the forum made because of cryptocurrency is actually an investment so we're basically investing to gain more profit in the future. The time spent and the quality of your work will decide how you'll earn in this kind of campaign.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: April 04, 2021, 04:30:23 PM
Strategies that rely on controlling your luck will never work because as we know it is impossible to control the random element of the games, the only thing that you can control in a gambling game is yourself, so if you do not want to experience big losses then the best way to do this is by not gambling with an amount of money that you're not willing to lose, if you happen to do that then the amount of money that you will lose will always be small and you will have no reason to be mad because the fun that you got out of the games is going to be worth the small amount of money that you spent.

Okay, assume they know the risk before they play, but they still play gambling, and if they lose several times, they are not thinking about stopping gambling instead of continuing to play gambling. So that does not make sense that they still playing gambling because, in the next rounds, they can lose more money. They know the risk, but they do not stop. If you know the risk, it is better to stop than continue playing gambling. They know the risk or they forget the risk? Grin
I think it is both, a person will need to be extremely ignorant about gambling to not know that the casino has an edge over them, we all know that, so why people still keep losing more money than what they are willing to lose when they gamble despite knowing this obvious fact? And the answer is very simple, people are not rational every single second of the day, we take a lot of decisions based on our emotions and while there are circumstances in which that is the correct thing to do, like when you decide who you are going to marry, there are also many circumstances in which this is incorrect like in gambling.
Agreed, it's because of our emotions that we make poor decisions; it's difficult to think clearly, particularly if you enjoy gambling and have already agreed to gamble anything for a big payoff. People continue to lose money because they are curious where their money would go if they use it in gambling, resulting in addiction and a loss of control. That's why gambling platforms should implement precautions to lessen this kind of cases but of course they will not do that because it's their advantage to gain profit from this kind of people.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: April 04, 2021, 03:53:12 PM
If you are the only one using the internet 5 GB is just enough and you will have an on-time experience betting in any games in the casinos but if you have seven people sharing your connection, you need a high plan, gambling needs speed in connectivity or any activity online where you want to make profit.

Are you talking about a 5gb cap on the internet or are you referring to 5mbps? The former would put you in a risk of having an internet connection cap which would disconnect you once it has reached its limit; while the latter would work but expect slow internet connection.

If several people using multiple devices are connected on the internet, then expect intermittent disconnections. The remedy here would either be: (1) upgrade your internet connection plan; or (2) gamble in a time where only a few people are connected.

Connectivity issues are outside the ambit of online gambling websites in which this concern should be addressed on the part of the player.

I guess he wants to say 5 mbps Grin

Maybe he can use the internet when everybody is asleep, so he does not have a problem accessing any website he wants. That can prevent the lack of internet access because he uses all of the internet connection by himself. But today, I guess 5 mbps is too small in a big city because they already upgrade their tariff packet to be cheaper than a few years ago. So I think he can upgrade to a better packet that will have more than 5 mbps.
Yes, 5 Mbps is very fast, but accessing a gambling platform does not necessitate such high speeds; in fact, even 1 Mbps with minimal packet loss will provide you with a satisfactory gaming experience. However, if you have a lot of packet loss and someone is already using those net speeds for streaming, it's not enough, but even 5mbps will suffice for uninterrupted online gambling. I understand that online gambling necessitates a secure internet connection in order to prevent errors from occurring during the betting process, which will save you money.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 04, 2021, 03:23:53 PM
~snip~

I think it's a matter of little experience and unwillingness to analyze the gambling market for the reliability of the playground. On bitcointalk there is a lot of analysis and comparison of gaming sites as well as there is a possibility to get real reviews of players, information about KYC requirement, amount of withdrawal commissions and many other things. In order not to fall into a trap of scammers need only to spend a little time studying this information.

If people do not read the analysis and comparison of gambling site from here, they will not get the recommended list of the gambling site instead, they can get into the trap of the scamming gambling site. We do not know how good the crypto gambling site is from social media or another website as they can pay the other people or hire some bunch of groups to give a good review to their site. This pandemic gives a chance for the scammer to trick many people, especially new people who want to know more about crypto gambling site. KYC is one of many things that people should avoid if they want to play on the crypto gambling site because that is unnecessary.
There are many fake gambling sites out there and we should be wise on how we will deal each platforms because it's really hard to determine what's legit and what's fake nowadays. There are many victims of fraud and especially right now where pandemic and a lot of people are shifting into online gambling platforms. There are many platforms where we can verify gambling platforms such as this forum and Reddit. All of the things in the internet should be studied to make things sure because gambling is also an investment where you study the asset to foresee its potential.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: April 04, 2021, 02:56:44 PM
Of course, ten years is enough to get to the top and be popular, but those years should not be wasted and should be spent fully learning bitcoin. It is not a good idea to waste years; you should always improve your skills and ideas about cryptocurrencies, and I believe now is the time to learn from the successes and failures of the bull run in 2021. There are plenty of ideas and knowledge you can learn here in bitcointalk forum, what more on the other sites in the internet world? You can learn on Youtube, Reddit and other platforms and I hope that we're all successful after 10 years.
