https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=983794

The address I shared above is my account. I have always paid attention to messages regularly and following the rules. Can you please help me?

I am a dentistry student. I generate income from my account to meet my university needs. This is my only source of income. So I try to follow the rules as best I can and take care not to spam.  Please I don't know my mistake but I'm sorry for the mistake I made. I need my account a lot as my university expenses increase during the pandemic. Please help me.

How can rely on the forum for paying for your education? Find some additional job or take a study loan. I'm still paying back mine, but if you want a proper education that's the right way to do it. You can't risk it with such insecure income.
682  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Binance overview wallet as graphs on: February 18, 2021, 11:18:50 PM
Unfortunately there are no graphs in the mobile app. On the desktop verion you have a bit more info, like the graph of your hodling during a given period of time. Also the PnL (Profit and Loss)for given perod of time but not divided by coins. Everything is total nubers and it can be toggled only between BTC and FIAT.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: SSD external hard disk corrupted contain 70 BTC~! on: February 18, 2021, 08:55:09 PM

What settings you have in the BIOS for tha SATA controller ? Which mode it is  AHCI or IDE this is also important, If you don't see it, change the mode to IDE.

I asked this so many times but i never got an answer.

I've wokred with people that really want help but do nothing to actually get a proper help.

If you are talking about a 3.5M$ you have to provide a proper information so we can somehow remotly find a solution.

I have no crystal ball to tell from a probably few thousends kilometers what's wrong with frankenstein's type of a harddisk, repaired by god knows who. This is not the way.

There should be a simple system. You collect and provide all the possible data(info) so you can apply the most efficent solution,  otherwise you are just gambling with 70 bitcoins... and the odds are against you.

Sorry OP but I really get upset when people do not understand the situation they put the others that are trying to help. You need to at least answer the question we put here, if you cannot answer, please ask so we can explain in details what you need to do in order to answer them. That's all.

The controller itself is visible but not the NAND.
This usually happens when one of the chips get bricked or the device does not pass one of the power on tests it runs when first turned on.
I had hoped it was a faulty temperature sensor that will send a false reading to the controller which will then go into emergency mode because it thinks that the hardware is overheated.
This is a common issue with these type of devices, and these issues will have the exact same outcome: controller visible but no IO possible.
I am still convinced that this is most likely the issue so my last advice was to check the storage hardware chip by chip to see if/which one went rogue but of course to do that will take more tools and equipment so that's where we came to a stop.
I am also still convinced that the data needed to recover the coins could still be there on the device, but i do not think that it is going to be easy to get access to it, simply because we tried all the easy things and unfortunately those appeared not to work.

So you dug deeply into solving possible hardware problems.
First I would check the 3.3V  and 1V that comes from the power regulator to the controller. There's also a 3.3V going from the regulatior to the NANDs, only to exclude the physical damage from the so called "repairs". The drive could be OK before the repair, you never know what they did, so basically check everything.

Some people here do not understand , it is shown as Unknown disk . on Linux after connecting direct to motherboard showing 34 kb .

Who want to really Help , share in private your  Telegram

Am offering 5 BTC as reward who help me fix this harddisk .

Thanks

Of course we don't understand because we need more information. If you see the Unknow Disk in the Device Manager, it's one thing. If you see the Unknown disk in THe BIOS it's another thing.

What settings you have in the BIOS for tha SATA controller ? Which mode it is  AHCI or IDE this is also important, If you don't see it, change the mode to IDE.

It's a ton of other things that can affect the HDD detection. IT's important to see the POST status also the SMART info of the drive. What partitions has the unknow drive, have you checked?

Sent you my Telegram in a PM.

Little worried about the Reef Finance tho, there are rumors that the team release 0.5B tokens in circulation without any note to the public. People complain for getting banned from Telegram for asking about the case.
I don't know how real this is or someone is trying to FUD the project to grab some cheap coins but seems that the news didn't have a really huge impact on the price. Still above 0.04 cents.
687  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal - WSBC WallStreetBetsCoin - wallstreetbetscoin account on: February 17, 2021, 08:18:15 PM
WallStreetBetsCoin seem to be a easy way to try to trick those who notice the "token" listed as number 0 on the coinmarketcap website a week or two ago. It was a joke made to support the wallstreetbets movement like they did now with Tesla so fooling people to believe they support the movement by buying this coin is basically a scam. Normally scs are not moderated as they are so difficult to prove but in this case its obvious.

ROFL guys you are even worse than Elon Musk destroying Freewallet reputaion.. /jk

Cryptoboss2020, your last thread about the 5000$ investment request was just a dissaster. Normaly I suport all kind of a newbies even if they make a mistake because everyone can make a mistake. But man,you have around 1000 posts so you've been here for quite some time and posting such threads, really? You could do better than that.

If we follow the bitcoin rainbow (logarithmic) chart seems like we gonna hit the top of the current market cycle in the period april-june, the should come the downtrend until we hit the "support" line. I support the idea Smiley

20 was easy, 30 wont be difficult either

Oh really! Easy you say....next one lets make it vertical...diagonal...horizontaly and backwards as well now. Cheesy

Agreed, and to make it more fun, just mirror all the letters so in order to solve it you need to use a real MIRROR :-D It's gonna be epic!! I love riddles, you can't scare me with it, if i had no kids i'll be the first one to solve them.

17 names found , 3 to go  Smiley
Thanks Krog

Glad you are having a good time...wait until the next word puzzle of 30 names hits your brain  Cheesy

I need to change my glasses man, that's horrible. I think I manage to get all the names correctly after 2 more hours of staring like a crazy.
Just a tip for the others. Printing really helps but if you are stuck, print it in a bigger scale like A2 and hang it somewhere far from you so don't ruin your vision. I found one name when just randomly look at the word list hanging on the door at work. It helped me, it could help you too. If I don't get too lazy to wake up that early, I'll try to catch the prize Smiley

20 was easy, 30 wont be difficult either, just some more time spent in staring Smiley The worst think is when I close my eyes I still see the list.. and those patches of letters repeating are so heavily stuck in my head.. I LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks for the great experience I haven't been reading so many random letters for years....Smiley

....this post is a result of a brain damage.. sorry if you read it the whole...

68K is the next step and it's very close. Hope the BTC market will chill out a little so the alts can do their part in the game and shoot higher later. With those temps 2021 will be remembered as the year when bitcoin broke 100K. That was one hell of a ride.
That is a really specific number to land on. Maybe alts can keep up with the growth but I am not the expert here. We are not yet reaching the first quarter of the year and we are pushing to half of the dream number and considering the current track record of bitcoin these past few months, I think that we are well on reaching that point but we have to be ready because bad news can still happen and with 10 months left, we can expect more things to happen.

Follow the charts, they contain all the info you need, it's inevitable, look at the bitcoin rainbow chart and you know that this year we gonna break the 100k and depends of the intensity we can go even over 200k. this is not a SiFi. The price follows rules, those rules and those rules followed for hundreds of years as from the time the people started trading the psychology has never changed. Everything goes in cycles, shorter cycles, longer cycles but that's the truth. If you don't know when to buy or sell, follow the rules... that's it.

Here is the live chart:

Thank me later Smiley

If it's visible in the system, have you tried any partition manager to see what partitions there might be?
I found a 250gb kingston SSD in one of my PCs (ill post pictures later) and when I find more time I'll give it a try with the true crypt. Never used it before so I cannot give suggestions until I have some interaction with it.

Very important question, do you connect the drive directly to the motherboard or you still use sata2usb convert from the external drive?

If you connect it to the MB you can download hirens boot CD (or DVD version) to check the disk status. If you wish to test it let me know i can guide you through the process.

Edit: If you need to get help, please take your time and explain what you have already did to the drive to test it. I ask every customer to explain to me in details what actually happen in order to proved the most efficient help.
Just make a list with short description like,: checked the boot manager, no partitions found. Tested on different SATA2USB controllers, all show the same result, etc.
It's easy, makes thinks clear, and keep the work tidy and don't waste time to repeat already conducted tests.

Good luck everyone! The sprint will be on come Feb 21.

I actually found 21 names somehow!  Undecided Took me a while to figure out which one wasn't counted.
~

That's great news, and thanks for the tip plen, so now I have to find actually 5 not 4 names. It's gonna be fun to figure out which one is not included. Now I saw that the time of the locked transaction is actually Sun Feb 21 2021 00:00:14 EST, that means 05.00.14 UTC, I guess I won't be the first in that challenge but I'll try my best.

Good luck everyone and thanks for the tip again.

I have a headache already... found approx 16 names, luckily I hang out in that section even if I don't post much there so most of the known names I know and are "easy" to find, well i needed to check the recent post from this section too, but those 4 are hard ones... If the headache is gone tomorrow I'll continue. It's really exciting, thanks krogo, I see you are still in a good mood. I love all your work man.

If I manage to claim those coins I will donate them to the SpamBuster club Smiley

698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FreeWallet locked even Elon Musk. I still don't trust them. on: February 11, 2021, 03:00:34 PM
Wait, so Elon using FreeWallet to store his coins, or he only give the wallet a try?
I think Elon doing some research first before using that wallet, and since a lot scam accusation agains it, he decide to give it a try.
Whatever reason, hope Elon got his coins back and not store a lot of money on that wallet.

He was on a hunt for a wallet app I guess to store the doge coins he bought for his kid but how he end up testing the FreeWallet i have no idea. I think they mentioned him in a tweet and then all that happend.
I'm sure he has experts on how to store 1B+ worth of crypo so this and they have quite nice secured vault of it. This was just for 'fun'.
699  Other / Meta / Re: Question: Why was PesoID Nuked? on: February 11, 2021, 01:30:44 PM
@Mitchell Just out of curiosity, does your bot directly nuke the newbies based on a given criteria or just report then to the mods? If a mode went through that post he would have notice that there are no rules broken.

I don't want to turn the topic into discussing the their service but I have to point something out. They might be good service but not warning their customers that the their funds most likely will get locked until profound investigation is done, is dragging them down below in matter of trust.

As I said, it was the lol of the day.
