I have the same issue for a long time and until now I can't find any solution yet.

It's fixed with latest Gminer. Thanks arielbit!

Oh it seems it's already fixed with gminer what driver you currently use?

Let me try gminer thanks.

Opppsss.... I tried today it seems the problem still the same with low hashrate...

What driver you currently use? Can you share your bat file I just want to try your settings?

drivers are 430.86, 451.67 and 460.89 all of these works

my .bat is very basic

Quote
miner.exe --algo ethash --server asia1.ethermine.org:4444 --user yourETHaddress.workername

you might be using 4gb system ram, make it at least 6gb .....this issue was already long ago too when it slowed my 1080ti, this might be your issue.

its not the ram i do have a 16 gig ram

might have something to do with page file ? 1070 only gets 25 m/s with 500 mem boost and 80% power it used to get 31 , 1070 Ti is unaffected
I also tried gminer same deal

my page file is set to total vram, if i got 3x 1080ti (11gb vram), then 11x3 = 33gb page file.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH DAG size and rig Memory on: December 26, 2020, 02:53:16 AM
I actually had a similar issue years ago when DAG was less than 2GB. I was building rigs and a few of them had only 2GB of ram. The virtual memory was something large like 32GB. However when the DAG was over 2GB I would get errors with 3GB cards.

So as a last resort I decided to try Linux and surprisingly worked. However it didn’t work with windows 7 or 10 or whichever OS i used back in 2016. So try and have at least 5Gb of ram these days to avoid this issue or try Linux.

yeah...some of my rigs have ddr2 2gb, when errors appear i added another 2gb (4gb total system ram) to fix issue....now added another 2gb because 1080ti is 18MH (6gb total system ram). now everything is normal again.

in my windows 10, although gminer is already in exceptions in the antivirus, it still has those errors. i disable the antivirus and then gminer worked and then i enabled the antivirus-still gminer is working.

just keep looking for the solution on your windows. gminer has the only fix for hash rate issue for now so....keep trying

How about for linux user?
I tried today it seems it doesn't solve the low hahsrate issue for both 1080ti and 1070.
Currently using 450.66 driver and linux. Or it only works on Windows OS?

Can you share your settings or bat file thanks.

my mining rigs are not linux. anyway, drivers are 430.86, 451.67 and 460.89 all of these works

705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH DAG size and rig Memory on: December 25, 2020, 08:04:31 PM
you need to increase the virtual memory page size.

https://www.x-plane.com/kb/increasing-virtual-memory-on-windows/

I have, since the very beginning (more than 3 years ago) it's at 34000MB, I think it's plenty, isn't it?

experienced it with windows 7, 1080ti goes down to 18MH after i added another 2gb (system is 6gb), it is back to normal..try adding system ram.

increasing virtual memory did not work for me...

today rigs with 6gb and 8gb system ram returned to 18MH, but it is now a miner software issue, the fix is gminer 2.38
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GMiner v2.38 Ethash/KAWPOW/Equihash/CuckooCycle on: December 25, 2020, 06:37:01 PM
Hi All,

Have 3 boxes with win7 and 1080ti looking for fix to issue with Phoenix and Claymore.  Downloaded and setup 2.38

1 box works fine with Windows Defender enabled and running with exception to the mining directory.
2 boxes do not work, and both complain about anti-hacking system detects modifications... but both have Defender also, and even if fully disabled, and directory exception still give this error.

Please help.

in my windows 10, although gminer is already in exceptions in the antivirus, it still has those errors. i disable the antivirus and then gminer worked and then i enabled the antivirus-still gminer is working.

any info/ideas why on windows 7 1080ti ETH hashrate dropped from ~48MH to ~18MH?

same here with 1060 @Win7 x64,  hash rate dropped to 17MH

so my 1080ti turned to 1060...jeeez fuck! LOL

windows 7 yet seriously? hehe

yes, "if it ain't broke don't fix it".....worked for me since i started mining and maybe it is time to move to something else.

Well its broke now.

gminer 2.38 fixed it heheh ...miner devs must be overlooking something for windows 7 OS, maybe because it is less used.....but if it ain't broke ...  ...  Wink

GMiner v2.38 available for download

v2.38
+ fixed performance degradation on Ethash under Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
miner launch specific kernels on specific devices, you can forcely enable this kernels on GPU use --oc1 flag (also you can use --oc flag to enable option per GPU)

Ethash fee is 0.65%
KAWPOW fee is 1%

NOTE: this update only includes windows version because there is no changes for linux

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.4c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 25, 2020, 02:19:21 PM
Yes, WIN7 is/was great for minig, zero problems till now.
Win10 alocates some GPU memory so its lower hash on some algos.
Maybe linux is a way to go.

maybe in the future when GPUs are using 16gb, 20gb, 24gb or more that would not be an issue for Win10

Hello,
> You will be able to open a bank account individual/business with ADK
> ADK buy back programm by Banks owned in the network
> Step 2 bring 100% privacy with zero proof knowledge + instant feeless settlements
> Annual return plan by banks
> Debit card linked to your bank+exchange account
> Personnal IBAN + Corporate Iban
> Smart contracts step 3
> ETF with a wide range of brokers day one ready to trade it

I understood your points, and im doing the same strategy with all cryptos but one can't ignore theses points & facts.

these are not facts, these are promises

> Ricardo Badoer owning Banks, stock exchange, football teams, and various business in IT

so ricardo is rich? where are his rich friends? anyone who is also rich that believed him?.....i don't see their bids in exchanges LOL  Wink

because someone is rich, does not mean that someone will make you rich..who will you buy insurance from? the guy in flip flops, shorts, t-shirt and commutes or the guy in suit who drove a Ferrari to your house? hehehe ...i know something is influencing your decision making  Grin

Look how Aidos has survived in 3 and a half years, the community is even stronger, the supply is dry on the book (aidosmarket). The big fish feasted on eating the smaller ones, a cartel crystallized around the project defending it tooth and nail, whether through verbal jousting or directly financially on the market.
This obviously has more for the smartest.
Have you ever wondered if the price was being cut below the BTC to US $ ratio for a very specific purpose?

Aidos Kuneen is similar to bitcoin in its infancy, and to monero during their long treks across the desert without wallets or recognition by much of the crypto industry.
I have seen green and unripe ones for 7-8 years in the cryptoverse, it is very funny because when the project pushes its agenda, a match will be enough to start a Gregorian fire.

Most people in cryptos don't look at the evidence and follow the clues. Aidos is not only that "Ricardo" is a nebulous of small groups all working FOR & WITH ADK on a daily basis.

We have 2 people who worked for the biggest offshore crypto bank who find themselves bombarding CEO of Payrico, but also of Bitlocus.
We have a large GMEX group that works with, and quoted by some large European banks (BNP, Societe Generale)
And I probably forgot a lot ...

Of course Aidos suffers from issues that leave people reluctant like "marketing", liquidity, and more exposures but,
All this pitch is not in order to convince you of anything, you already have a very clear opinion, I just wanted to put the dots on the i's.

Merry Christmas!

this shitcoin is nothing like BTC and XMR...i do not see the need for explanation for this.

Hi, I switch today to t-rex from Claymore's miner and getting 18-20 MH/s instead of 35MH/s on 1070ti no matter the setting, set highest intensity and CPU priority and no result.
Tried running benchmark with 383 epoch with which Claymore was still functioning, gettin better 27MH/s, but still not nearly good.

Chck for newer drivers and make sure your OC settings are correct.  My 1070ti's get 33MH @120w with 150core 650Mem with HiveOS, newest Trex cuda 11.1 and 10 work for me.

this method didn't work in my windows 7 rigs, 1080ti gpus.

same with my win7 rigs. 1080ti, went down to ~18MH

last time it runs like this was when i'm using 4gb system ram.....i upgraded to 6gb, the issue resolved.

and then today, both 6gb and 8gb (system ram) rigs at the same time becomes ~18MH

windows 10 rigs with 1080ti unaffected

updated driver to 460.89, tested gminer 2.37, phoenixminer 5.4c, t-rex 10.0 and 11.1 ...didn't work

Same problem here with WIN7, any solution ?
Will 16GB RAM help ?

i think not, have not tried 16gb...because 6gb and 8gb system ram rigs slowed down at the same time.

still looking for a solution, my last solution will be to shift to windows 10.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: December 25, 2020, 07:41:32 AM
Shitshow, Miner finally died on a Christmas morning...
Switch to trex and getting 18-20 MH/s instead of 35MH/s on 1070ti no matter the setting. What the hell?

what is your OS?

1080ti from ~48MH to ~18MH on windows 7...on windows 10 1080ti still at ~48MH
