What a tough game with a lot of injuries on star players, TE Mark Andrews is out for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury, we will not know exactly the severity of the injury of Burrow until later today, but the NFL is going to launch an investigation due to some allegations Burrow was already injured and the Bengals failed to report it, and finally even if Lamar returned to the game at least to me he looked a little bit shy when running the ball, hopefully the long week of rest will allow him to recover completely from his injuries.

In my other league I have Andrew's.  Just getting JJettas back and now Andrew's is down.  I kmwo its just fantasy goofball but dang it hurts when these guys go down lol.  Have to scramble to figure out the rest of your season.  This year has been brutal for top ff picks.

Some interesting games on tonight all in season playoff games.  Interested to see how all this plays out.  As a knicks fan unsure how they proceed since they already lost to the Bucks.  I guess if they run it out and Bucks lose a couple or they are a top wild card they can make it?

For the wild card only the top two none group winning teams make it out.  What happens if 3 teams end up with the same record?  Since there isn't head to head how do they put two forward?
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 17, 2023, 07:54:11 PM

Went 1-2 on the 11th to bring my 13 day total to 20-19 against the book.  Riding the line here early in the season.

Day 14 bets all away favorites.:

Bucks-7.5 on the road against the Hornets.
Knicks -6.5 on the road against the Wizards
Sixers -1.5 on road

I think the favorites are really gonna put theor foot down being tonight is part of the in season tourny.  Good luck tonight everyone!
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: November 16, 2023, 09:55:47 PM
Nothing could be said for certainty in crypto. And fundamentals are still a vague thing to compare on while dealing with crypto.
Shiba Inu is still holding itself to the pro league. They are already popular among most of the laymen. Arguably among top 10 most know crypto. Their total supply is dubious, but we know most of it is either locked or burned. And if they keep on being able to create a buzz around them, one day, on a long bull run, they could eventually reach $1.
Yes, no one knows for sure what crypto will be like in the future. But at least we need a rational target. In this case regarding Shiba Inu, I might feel a little doubtful because for Doge it is still a little difficult to reach $1. Moreover, we are not sure whether in the next bullish era, memecoin will still be as hyped as in the previous era.

but on the other hand, I also don't deny it if sometimes a miracle just happens and is very surprising, like what happened to Doge in the past. Where no one thought that the coin would actually skyrocket like that. So, it remains to be seen whether Shiba Inu can really develop and survive various pressures in the market and can expand its market cap, and strengthen and develop its fundamentals. This requires cooperation from various parties, especially from the team, and of course from investors and also Shiba Inu traders. So, it is possible that it could happen, but we don't know how many percent or when.

You hit the nail on the head with this statement.  Most people are looking at the meme market and think it will replicate what it did last run.  The thing with crypto culycles is that every cycle there is a new genre of coins that seem to take off.  Memes will die slowly is my guess as people jump off to the next best thing.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Plan for making a small dream come true on: November 16, 2023, 09:53:55 PM
Honestly these are decent exit points.  Nothing too insanely crazy on here.  A lot of times people expect things to automatically go up 100x or 1000x which is insane.  The good thing here is that you have a plan.  Stick to it and don't look back if these prices are ever hit.  Good luck.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2023, 09:52:15 PM
Also Celtics kinda showed us that 76ers are not what they look like and as soon as they block Embiid , there is nowhere left to actually carry the game for them and now I do think that maybe they made a mistake letting Harden go ? could be.

Nah, they are good without Harden, Maxey is taking Harden's place now, it's that the Boston Celtics has the best duo in the NBA right now, Tatum and Brown, and they are very consistent this season.

For the Lakers, it's a up and down game against the Kings. The biggest issue with the team right now is that they simply allow their opponents to take a big lead and they have a hard time trying to catch up. Another team that is also inconsistent and I doubt that they are a championship caliber in the West right now. Kings kryptonite is the Warriors, but if the Warriors can't get their act together maybe if they play the Kings in the playoff, it will be a different story.

Agreed I think every team that has Harden leave is almost a net positive for them.  Harden is good no doubt but he isn't a type of player that makes his team better.  Looks like his teammates get disinterested when he is on the court.  Think something is off with his ego and/or personality which makes it not work on the court.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 16, 2023, 09:50:32 PM

At least Arthur finally gave him a sizable workload, I think he had like 22 carries.  Of course that has to do with the fact that they were up or close to being up the whole game.

Quote
People will do everything but admit it was a mistake to waste an early round pick on a rookie RB that went to a team that uses a committee.

I thought this was hilarious!

Seriously doing deep dives on peoples family because your guy didn't get enough carries is completely over the top!

I don't think there's anything wrong with drafting rookie RBS.  Often times high draft pick rookie backs perform pretty well.  Not to mention the average running back lifespan is like 3.5 years, so getting use out of them when they have fresh legs tends to make sense.  Bijan wasn't a bad pick either, he's around 10th most points scored for RBs, which could be a whole lot worse.  I agree though, it's insane the level of hatred people can grow to just off of ones fantasy play lol

Heck of a game tomorrow ladies and gents.  Cincy versus Baltimore..bit of a nice change from last weeks Bears/Panthers game lol

Looks like Ravens are favored by -3.5  Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Why is this -3.5 only? Is this because the Bengals won against the Bills on week 9? But the Bills are not a very good team for 2023. They also lost vs. Russell Wilson and the Broncos on week 10 hehehehe. Also, it might be because the Ravens lost to the Brown?

In any case, I reckon good bets on week 11 might be New York Giants +9 and also the Cowboys -11. The Commanders will not win -9. Also on the Cowboys, if they can win against the spread with -16 against the Giants they can also do this against the Panthers.

As a giants fan I don't approve this message lol.  I don't know how anyone could bet on the giants no matter the opponent or spread at this point.  My guess is if you bet against them every week you will beat the book overall.  They can't throw the ball and everyone knows that so they will just stack the box.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 16, 2023, 09:48:23 PM
Do owners of betting companies place bet on their own platform or is there a policy specific policy that restricts them from betting. Do you think that there would be conflict of interest or that it will be unethical if owners bet on their own platforms. These are the questions that I am seeking an answer to.

If he is the owner of his site what would be the point.  It would go into his profit and loss, and honestly he would end up losing as he would have to pay taxes on his winnings or profit if his casino won.  I don't get the point of why someone would do that.  Maybe they would bet on another site to lessen the risk they have on their own I could see that happening.

Not sure if this has really been discussed her or not yet..but what do you all think about the Zach Lavine rumors?  As a Chicago Bulls fan, I think we got the better of the Jimmy Butler/Lavine trade, and he's been a fun and exciting player to watch these past few years, but it's time to blow it up.  Lavine is not good enough to be a teams leading star, and would fit much better as a number 2 or 3 option.  The Bulls aren't heading anywhere with this team, so time to move on a rebuild.  Thoughts?  Also what teams do you guys think he'd be a good fit for?

Chi it's time to blow it up.  Not that the Knicks are any better but the way they are constructed they aren't going to compete at the highest level.  Sucks althat lonzo ball has gone down but it is what it is.  I'd get whatever I could for derozen and Levine in terms of young guys and picks and start over.  Landing someone like wemby in the draft is where it's at unless you are landing lebron type free agents.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 15, 2023, 07:32:24 PM
The results of the games you mentioned are headshaking except for San Francisco vs. the Jaguars hehehehe. Also, the Bills which lost vs. the Broncos in their home stadium was not very shocking for me. I mentioned this last week and asked if there were injuries on the Bronco's secondary. This Josh Allen appears to have a minor injury, I reckon. This season he does not scramble very much like the seasons when he was speculated to be the next regular season MVP. I speculate that it might be his knee or his ankle.
Josh Allen is dealing with a right shoulder injury, which is his throwing arm, and it seems way more serious than previously reported as he is missing practices, if to this you add he is showing regression, his cap hit is increasing, there seems to be turmoil on the locker room and even the Madden curse could be involved, this help us understand what it may be going on, I also think Allen may have gotten too used to get the big play and move the ball too fast instead of methodically beating his opponents, and recently even Tom Brady made the observation that he is taking too many risks and said Allen should tone it down a little bit.

On Discord, it mentioned by someone that Stefon Diggs was being very self important and demanded that he have more balls thrown at him which might have been giving much pressure on Josh Allen and how he wants to play. Josh Allen might always say that Stefon Diggs is my brother, however, there are some articles that would make you skeptical of this.

In any case, for the next game in fantasy I am against Burrowhead. The projection is telling me that I will win similar to what it has told me last week hehehee.

That's been an issue.  As long as Diggs is getting the ball he is happy.  Dude is a monster but those types of things end up coming out on the wrong end when you are losing.  As long as you are winning you won't hear about it.  Bills on paper should be better than they are.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 12, 2023, 03:33:10 PM
Atlanta today was the joke of the weekend.
Miami is playing without Butler and Herro and Atlanta is getting schooled in the first quarter and plays catch up the rest of the match, what a great way to blow it.

How come we see this so often, the best player of a team is out, they play on the road as well and suddenly they pull off 1 big quarter which pretty much seals it. They lose the rest of the quarters and still win easy because of the stupidity of the other team.  Roll Eyes

NBA at it's best.

Happens a lot but the fact is that a lot of times the guys on the bench don't get gametime run too much so they are much more motivated than the other team.  I think there is a sense of let up on the other team thinking it's gonna be an easy game.  It is crazy that it happens so often you'd think Atlanta would have taken advantage of the opportunity.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 11, 2023, 09:12:53 PM

Went 1-2 last night bringing my yearly total to 17-16 for my 11th night betting 3 games.  Tonight there are only 2 games but I will take one of the over/unders as well

1) gimme the Pacers at home giving +2.5 points against the Bucks.  2nd night of a back to back I like the home team here.  Hali should control the tempo

2) also gimme the under 241.5.  Think the legs on the Bucks might impact the high scoring ability.  Pacers win 121-117, skimming just barely on the under.

3) also taking the home dog in the other one.  Orlando +3.5 against the Hawks.  Love home dogs and Atlanta shouldn't be favored by that much here.

Good luck tonight!

19-17 on the year against the book.  12 days in going for #13.  A couple good games tonight  here are my 3:

The Bucks on the road again but I see a bounce back here.give me the Bucks-3.5 on the road in Orlando.

Boston at home single digits always seems like a good bet.  Give me the Celtics-8.5 have home.

Warriors bounce back too and take this one at home.  -3.5 at home.

Good luck tonight everyone!

Gambling til the wheels fall off!  Seriously as long as it stays as a form of entertainment for me I'm gonna keep riding it.  Once it doesn't become fun for me anymore that's the end.  Probably will do smaller amounts as I get older but who knows.
714  Economy / Services / Re: Courtsiding from a scout (dictation) on: November 11, 2023, 08:47:04 PM
Hello, guys! I thinks everyone knows what is courtsiding - when you go to the stadium, to any sport, and make bets from there, trying to make a bet faster than bookmaker will update the odds.

I have been working as a scout for two years now in a company that provides data for bookmakers (in Scandinavia, in the north). In some countries I have been to all the football and hockey arenas.

I can dictate (3 years of experience) to you matches from arenas where there are no scouts (the bookmaker updates the quotes by taking information from the person who is watching the broadcast from the office).

There are arenas with old equipment, and due to this, a delay in data transmission is created. These are the arenas I ride in.

My price is 125 EUR from a person (I can accept almost any crypto), and I want to take 5-6 persons maximum, so companies will not cancel your bets. Delay is more than 7 seconds (up to 12).

PS I am interested to work with professionals, who knows how to bet and how does it work. I will not write here my contacts, you can contact me in PM and we will discuss it.

PPS You can ask me everything here and I will explain  Cool

So pay you in an irreversible payment and trust you give out good advise.  Do you accept escrow and you might actually need to promote this in services too.  Might get some hits that way.  I'm not familiar with this kind of service is this for big swings in odds based on, on location information?  Why not just make the bets yourself if you get that type of info?
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 11, 2023, 08:41:30 PM
LA Clippers 0-3 now with James Harden. The Clippers already have a strong team so it's hard to see how James Harden fits in. Clippers doing well without Harden and his style might cause more problems than solutions. Maybe he could come off the bench to help but that's not guaranteed if he doesn't agree. If Jame Harden don't want to go bench trading him might be an option again. Lmao. Even without Harden the Clippers are still a top team especially when Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are fit and playing.

Just like what  I have expected. We have seen similar rosters like this before and most of them weren't successful, unless if someone give up their position and be a complimentary player to the star who the team while shine the most.
Just like how DWade and Chris Bosh gave up their roles and leave it up all to LeBron who orchestrate most of their plays.
I'd rather have a spot up shooters on my team than James Harden who is just like a Russell Westbrook to my team.

I remember also a super team back then the Lakers, with Kobe, Karl Malone, Gary Payton and Steve Nash if I'm not mistaken, I don't know maybe we can compare them on the firepower that the Clippers had today. Or maybe we can say that Harden is someone of a bad luck, because the teams that he joins after he luck OKC, they are not close on reaching the Finals. The closest is with Houston, him and CP3 but we all know that because of injuries, they were knockout by the Warriors.

So let's see how it goes, if James is really a bad luck or it boils down to the coaching staff of the Clippers on how to maximize this superstars so that they can find that winning formula with Harden around because it not, then for sure some drastic changes might happen again to the Clippers, whether it is the coach or some high profile players getting trade (including James Harden).

Those Lakers teams were all old.  It's not like they got malone and Payton when they were in theor prime.  Harden is a good individual basketball player but his teams are not because the dude isn't a good team player period.  He can dish the ball and does it well but he doesn't make any of his teammates better.  I have a wierd feeling this is going to be his last chance before he starts getting phased out.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 11, 2023, 08:35:05 PM
I base my question about whether a gambler can become a good bitcoin trader, because both of them share one factor which is risk. A gambler is a risk taker, he stakes his money without knowing the outcome of the game that he is about to play. There is no guarantee that he will win, yet he goes ahead to play, knowing fully well that he can lose his bet. Same thing with a bitcoin trader, he goes ahead to engage in trading knowing fully well that the market can turn around  negatively for him, making him to lose his bitcoin. Yet he goes ahead to trade in the hope of making profit.

Although there are some differences between the two, like most gambling depends mainly on luck. You play and let luck decide fate of the game, that is the risk factor, because the gambler doesn't have any control or influence to determine the outcome of the bet. Also a bitcoin trader doesn't have any control or influence to determine how the market swings, he takes the risk to trade his bitcoin without knowing the outcome whether it'll be profit or lose. The diffidence between the two is that a bitcoin trader can predict the market, while a gambler can not predict the outcome of a bet, except in sports bet.

So if a gambler where to go into bitcoin trading, do you think that the experience of taking risk in gambling will be an added advantage to face the risk of bitcoin trading?

Although some traits cross over they are mutually exclusive.  The only thing that would probably help is the risk level and the ability to lose a lot in a quick fashion.  If a gambler is also a good crypto trader its most likely either due to luck, coincidence or 2 separate skillets they are good at.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 09, 2023, 10:35:20 PM
Stroud absolutely destroyed it yesterday.  I watched almost 3 quarters of the game since the giants were the later game.  That kid looks like the real deal, Houston got themselves a player.  Looks like Carolina picked wrong.  Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a trabisky over mahomes type pick.  Way to early to say but cj is good.
I have not really watched Stroud play but since the Ravens and Seahawks game was basically over in just three quarters I switched channels and watched the last quarter of the Texans and Buccaneers game, and I really liked what I saw, it was not only that he broke the record of Andrew Luck, Stroud had to overcome the injury of his K early on the game and they had to go for two point conversions all game, and with just roughly one minute on the clock he had to make a comeback and he did, showing he can perform under pressure and do well, a very desirable trait on a QB which can make him go from a good QB to an elite one.

Yeah I watched too that was a sick game.  No kicker amd his defense giving up point after point and he just kept coming.  The thing that impressed me not only was his poise knowing he couldn't rely on field goals but the accuracy to his throws was insane. Was dropping picture perfect passes into his relievers hands.  Wish he was a giant..

I don't know how and why so many people fall for this stuff.  Is it greed that just blinds people or just stupidity.  With so many scams out there why would you ever get involved with something that can easily turn scam.  I guess the easiest way to avoid this is just buying and holding bitcoin Smiley
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 10:31:31 PM
Why do altcoin don't have the characteristics of bitcoin? After the creation of bitcoin thousands of coin surface the crypto market, some altcoin became a huge success but some still reamain dumant and has no hope of even attaining the high of $1

Dogecoin is one of a long time COIN that has been in existence for over 10years now. since December 2013 dogecoin hit 0.0000869 on may 6 2015 and today is $0.076 now am wondering if it could reach $1price after 10years compeard to Bitcoin.

It's all dependent on bitcoin pricing honestly.  If bitcoin hits $1million than sure possibly.  The main reason I don't think is because dogecoin has block rewards of 10,000 new coins minted every minute..forever.  there is no way that demand will forever increase so eventually the price will go down due to the constant increase in supply.

-snip-

2-1 the other night gets me to 16-14 on the year after 10 days of betting 3 games a night.  Tonight going for a sweep I like a lot of games bit narrowed it down to 3:

Clippers -5.5 on road against the Nets.  Nets stink amd clips have been in ny since the other night against the Knicks so no jet lag.  They win by double digits bad matchup for the Nets.

Grizzlies +1.5 at home against the heat.  I like the matchups in this game and Grizzlies at home.  They get it going with a win tonight.

Okc +2.5.  At home and getting no.love.  they win outright....by double digits tonight. Might be going overboard a little but I like them to win.

Good luck tonight
