It is easy.  It has been done before.

Ask Pro-Trump Militias to dress in Antifa outfits, waving pro-Communist flags and set the Congress on fire.

Then declare martial law, ban communism and socialism in the US, dissolve the Democratic Party, and take over from there and become the first American Führer.

Just kidding.

It will be all over in a few weeks.  Biden will be the president.

The believe in God has been an issue of controversy amongst many just as the series of comments that precedes this thread. Why should one be questioned on what he or she believes in? Just as you are answerable to your crimes in the law court, so do every entity on the phase of the earth. If you don't believe in God or god's and religion, you are as well a member of another unit of religion yourself and that is atheism. Why did you choose this path, it's because you had guts to question where the other religions say you should have faith. That's were most of the difference lies.

Believe it or not, your continues fight over a thing simply means you believing in it but then, you tend to look for a way to prove to yourseylf that it's real and actually exists. I see comments on this thread and it often talks about the God with an upper case 'G' which we've been told that, it refers to the God of heaven. By simply respecting that fact, it's a sign that there is a recognition of a higher power and besides, as much as we love to question the existence of a God, we should never forget that there are lots of questions science is yet to answer like, the never conclusive evolution theory.

I was taught that when a theory stands the test of time for at least a decade following scientific procedures, it becomes a fact but then, here is evolution theory, despite it's obedience to this procedure, it remains a theory! It is in eminent that, we can not always get the answers or result we seek hence, it's best you just go for what you believe in and give others the freewill to do the same.
Mind you, what you believe in works for you.

You are uneducated.  Evolution is an observable fact in all lifeforms.

BTW, I am so passionately exposing the idiocracy of religions because religions continue to cause physical and emotional harm to millions of people.  They oppose science because scientific education poses an existential threat to the idea of God.  They are in a way of progress.

Stop killing and/or discriminating against gays and women, stop saying that Earth is 10,000 years old, stop saying that God never sanctioned slavery, stop saying that God created human beings from dirt or rib bones, stop saying that our universe was designed or created in 6 days.  Instead, read the scriptures, learn the nonsense contained in them, and become an enlightened man.  Stop being a Bronze Age parrot.

Ford and Chev evolved from the '30s to what they are today. Is that what you mean?

All of evolution theory has this little thing in it called random mutations. Mutations seem to exist, but what does "random" have to do with it? Random does not mean spontaneity. Random simply means that we don't know. I could have been this, or it could have been that, or it could have been something else.

Everything in the universe seems to have one cause or more that caused it to exist the way it does. There are countless billions of things in the universe that have known causes. The cause(s) of some of the things that exist in the universe are not known. But the one thing nobody has found is something that exists through spontaneity. Everything has a cause, and the idea of something existing spontaneously doesn't even fit with the way the universe operates.

There are no spontaneous mutations in evolution. Even evolution theory says so by using the word random. This means that there are only unknown causes for the mutations in evolution. But since mutation causes are only unknown, the causes are still there. Whatever the Great First Cause of the mutations in evolution, the mutations have causes. This is not evolution. This is cause and effect. This is machines being designed to operate the way they do.

The absolute only two things you have to do to prove evolution as fact are:
1. Find a bunch of for a fact spontaneous mutations;
2. Go back through all of time and show us where they exist.

Other than that, evolution theory destroys evolution.

What shows God? Everything in the universe is machinery of one sort or another. Machines have makers. Machine universe, because of its greatness and complexity, has a similarly great and complex Maker. Such a Maker fits our definition not only of God, but of God Almighty. Machines have makers.

Cool

The universe is not a machine.

^^^ This is extremely difficult stuff to think about. Why? We see only cause and effect operating in everything. But we, also, seem to have free will. Does this mean that our free will is controlled by cause and effect, so that it is not really free will at all?

After all these advancements humans made in physics over the last 100 years, it seems very hard for me to believe in a higher power such as God. The universe is so large with millions of stars with empty planets. If there was really a God, why create all this without life on it? Would it be much easier to create different life on all planets?
Modern physics is not yet completely developed, scientists keep finding new things every day so we can't actually say we are a planet with living things, there are some proofs exists for the existence of life in the near galaxies but it is millions of light years far so we don't actually have any technology to reach out there and validate. But why we need to believe God created all these things?

Because they are machines. Machines have makers. The maker of a machine as vast as the universe would have to be God.

Cool

Lookup emergent processes.  Nature is teeming with them.  No machines anywhere in nature, well, maybe AI life will be.

Experimental data suggest the universe expanded from a singularity. All chemistry that is in us was created much, much later.
Then it took billions of years for amino acids, proteins, etc. to form.  Mammals only exist for a small fraction of that time.

Our universe could have evolved into different chemistry with different physics, but it is what it is.

It will continue to evolve regardless of what imaginary friend you believe in.

WTF?

Melania did not even finish the gymnasium.
She attended some easy trade school, then tried University, failed in the first year.

Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg all dropped out of college...

You cannot be serious comparing her to these tech leaders.

She is a dropout like ....

Me.

So what are you trying to get to, with "failed in the first year?" I assume it's just another disrespectful remark.

But for some others, "dropped out" is a good thing,a respectful thing?

I'm going to have some trouble figuring that out.

Regarding this...

Five foreign languages my ass.  Five adjectives like Donald, maybe.

This is one YouTube of exactly the type I can't stand, someone with likely no life that wants to see their own face on camera and likes to talk too much, too long, with way insufficient visuals, and bad facial expressions. Sorry, I couldn't possibly get through 8 minutes of that dumbie.

But it's really just more disrespecting the First Lady, isn't it? At least she's not trying to force a salad diet on American public school students, like Michelle Obama did. By the way, have you red Michelles master's degree thesis? Might should before you talk about which First Lady's stupid. While you're at it, read Hitlary's dissertation. Check them out, why not.

Trust me, I know more than you about Slovenia's education system.

The vocational school that Melania attended is not for bright minds. Harvard and Princeton are.

She is as smart as a bag of rocks.  She does not 'speak' the five languages she claims she speaks.

As for Michelle's master thesis.  Well, it is ok, but I must say, she has a quirky writing style.  Sometimes it is hard to follow what exactly she wanted to say.  But overall, it is understandable.  Bottom line from her thesis: "The more time Blacks spend with Whites, the less they identify themselves with Black communities they come from."  Basically, once Princeton educated Blacks start making big bucks, they do not give a flying puck about poor Blacks or Whites.

708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "The case for cancelling student debt isn't political" on: December 08, 2020, 09:13:07 PM
Source: Businessinsider

Hi all!

I don't like politics. I have studied some politics myself, and I simply don't like it: it is used to oppose people more than unite them, for shady purpose sometimes.

I open this topic to share something that just happened to me on twitter (nothing unexpected Roll Eyes) because maybe I can learn about the topic, with your help. I won't self-moderate this thread so please, stay polite, be humble, open minded and avoid fallacies and ad hominem arguments. Let's try to gain some insight among all.

--------------------------------

I was wandering in crypto-twitter when suddenly I have seen this news linked above. I am not american myself so I may not be very versed in this topic, but I shared my on beforehand foreseen unpopular opinion:

Something like I have got a debt myself (mortgage) and I knew the consequences of what I was signing, so I don't expect my debt to be simply condoned. Added that people asking loans of ten thousands, hundred thousands of dollars to go to University when nowadays there is plenty of free information available in Internet wasn't intelligent at all, and that if they got their debt condoned they would learn nothing from this big mistake. That maybe if people refused to pay those quantities in the future to old, legacy Universities, they would innovate and prices would go down in the future.

And that, for me, the case for cancelling student debt is political propaganda (not because it is Biden, all politicians are the same to me honestly), because this is the way rhetoric works: you state that something is not what it is, and many people who want to believe it just believe it. I guess that it has economic implications too, obviously, but isn't this news convenient politically speaking?

Suddenly, I was a neolib who thinks “what about the investment slave owners put into buying slaves?" Huh, someone who thinks something like "I don’t like it when things get better for the younger generation" (I truly expect the younger generation to don't fall in the same mistake as the older one, by prioritising self learning and avoiding being conditioned), and worse.

These replies, despite being out of context from my point of view, got liked, while none of mines did. So I am considering the possibility of being wrong, because as an outsider I may easily be ignorant on how this is affecting the people in the country. It would be logical too, on the other hand, to be more objective with this topic as an outsider. But I don't really know.

--------------------------------

I can't assess my opinion anymore so I am curious what you think on this topic. Again, please, be polite, try to be constructive, I won't reply to any posts so keep this as a space for reflexion and debate. If you are american yourself, it would be constructive if you point that too, otherwise I will suppose posts are from foreigners as this is an international forum.

I'm a bit nervous before pressing the "Post" button. This is the reason why I don't like politics, I have the hunch that I may end making enemies for sharing my opinion Undecided Please, prove me wrong.

Canceling debt is just plain crazy.  It undermines the whole capitalist system.  It is inflationary and destructive.

People who get themselves into debt have no right to demand others to pay their debts.

Your student debt is yours, not mine.  Deal with it.

The problem with universities is that they allow too many morons in. The US colleges and universities are no longer academic institutions.
Shutdown all sports teams, athletic programs, amenities, pubs, clubs, frat houses, etc.  Build more libraries, labs, classrooms, lecture halls.

The first lady of the United States of America is gifted, talented, intelligent and beautiful.
She speaks 6 different languages fluently and was highly successful as an international model and beauty Queen and in other fields of human endeavors long before meeting her husband..Mr President the person of Donald Trump.
Despite all the abuses and misrepresentation meted to her unjustly, her family, son and husband has never said a word in response to haters. Through it all she remained focus, undaunted, strong, dignified, resilient and well above them all even in trying times.
Her silence, loyalty and respect was her strength and shield.she supported her husband through thick and thin and never waivered  she never sought to expose hir weakness to humiliate, disregard him and undermine him.
She guarded him jealousy even as she protected her son Baron and shielded him from public glare. Dutiful, respectful and humble: a good mother and good wife. This is a woman of class and substance.
 This is the real deal.
This is a lady

I have no doubt this is Donald Trump's Greatest Blessings and the source of his pride, strength and Joy.

  My sincere observation.

If there is a quota on deaths, I hope religious people are used first.  Smiley

What kind of miserable life would you have to have to wish death upon an entire group of people because they don't believe what you believe?  How truly sad.  I feel sorry for you Vod.
Who is "religious", but those who are truly religious, are not afraid of death because they are waiting for eternal life

The 'truly religious' people would do us all a favor if they would just kill themselves and join their 'God'.

Why wait here on our miserable planet when you can join your 'God' in heaven right away?

This is what the truly religious people are doing... destroying themselves. People don't have to be religious to look at nature and see that God exists by understanding the complexity. People have to be religious to push the reality of God out of their mind and believe the religion atheism.

When people push themselves into believing atheism, they are destroying themselves. How? They are pushing God out of their lives... God, the God of nature, the One who is maintaining the structure of nature... nature, which is keeping atheists alive.

It would be nice to see the religious atheists jump out of their atheism religion into reality. But if they want, let them keep on in their religion, and destroy themselves.

Cool

Because it doesn't work like that. Almost all religions have a certain rules by which you need to life by. These rules determine if you are a good or bad person and only the good people will go to heaven. Killing yourself is a sin and you will not be able to go to heaven.

Outsource the killing part.  Problem solved.  You will be in heaven in a New York minute.

Was there beer?

It's hell. So obviously the only available liquid would be Miller Lite.

Dang. I'm worried now.

WRONG, DUDE!

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33490/110002/

God created everything except destruction. Satan created destruction, and rejected God.

So, Satan and all the people who follow him (whether they know they are following him or not), will get what they have asked for... destruction and rejection by God.

God has the power to enter Hell and talk to people. And he might even give this ability to people on Earth. But ultimately, Hell will be the absence of God and the things He created, regarding those therein.

Because of the nature of mankind, and the nature of devils (fallen angels), it will take forever to destroy them, because God has placed eternity in their hearts. There might be a way that people and devils will sense each others' presence in Hell, but ultimately they will have no desire to communicate with others as they receive the pain of continued destruction of themselves, forever.

Let this thread prompt you to get into Bible reading while you have time. Understand that God exists, and that Heaven and Hell are places He created to fit those people who believe in Him and don't believe in Him.

Cool

Nah.

A simpler explanation is that Faustina was mentally ill.

BTW, why would 'God' (aka the first person who wrote about him) create Hell in the first place?  Was he a sadist?

P/S: I’m both a logical and emotional thinker.

When you are emotional, you don't think, you react.

We use reason and logic to detect falsehoods, make sense of the complex world around us, and in the end, help us survive in this
dog-eats-dog world.

Most emotions are counterproductive, probably an evolutionary side-effect of a complex brain.

BREAKING: Sidney Powell Releases the 'Kraken' in Georgia with Explosive New Lawsuit

https://pjmedia.com/election/victoria-taft/2020/11/26/breaking-sidney-powell-releases-the-kraken-in-georgia-with-explosive-new-lawsuit-n1174691

Defense Attorneys Sidney Powell, Lin Wood and others have filed a lawsuit in Georgia demanding that the results of the 2020 election be set aside because of “massive election fraud” and foreign influence in the election. The lawsuit claims that 96,600 mail-in ballots “were fraudulently cast” and that “136,098 ballots were illegally counted as a result of improper manipulation of the Dominion software.”

Powell, a high-profile attorney who represents former Trump National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn, asks that the governor be enjoined from certifying the election. The 104-page lawsuit claims that Gov. Brian Kemp, Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger, and the chair and members of the Georgia State Elections Board failed to police the alleged fraud, including “multiple violations of Georgia laws, including O.C.G.A. §§ 21-2-30(d), 21-2-31, 21-2- 33.1 and §21-2-522, and multiple Constitutional violations, as shown by fact witnesses to specific incidents, multiple expert witnesses and the sheer mathematical impossibilities found in the Georgia 2020 General Election.”

The lawsuit, co-filed with attorney Lin Wood and an Atlanta attorney, asks a judge to set aside the results of the election in a permanent injunction; enjoin elections officials from certifying the election; demands that all voting machines be subjected to forensic assessment; and asks that election officials produce 36 hours of surveillance video of “all rooms used in the voting process at State Farm Arena in Fulton County, GA from 12:00am to 3:00am until 6:00pm on November.”

Q: Does the counting machine print out the result with a timestamp?  Yes or No?
A: umm, eh, yes, but...
Q: The printed copies can be validated against what the machine reported electronically.  Yes or No?
A: Yes but...

Thank you, no further questions Honor.

Okay, then, case dismissed.  Next case.

Allegations are not evidence.

Trust me.  You don't want that.

He will leave office by Jan 20th.  My guess is that Nancy Pelosi will become the "acting president" until Congress will get their shit together and agree on who the winner is.

Recounts are a given, but they might not be completed by Dec 14th, which will push this thing to Congress.

I don't really know much about religion ....
Both Christians and muslims have some sensible core tenets....
But really killing people is not the answer.

I've taken the liberty of summarizing your comments. Look at the logical puzzle you have presented.

The solution to it is to reverse the bolded statement.

No, they do not have the same sensible core tenets.

If they did, Muslim leaders would widely and openly condemn such brutality and senseless killings as what has recently happened in France.

But they don't.

Did the France president condom the acts of a teacher who was making fun of the religion ? Rather he himself encouraged this act and enforced a shameful decision of publishing the cartoons  on the walls of building in france.

So why would you expect Muslim leaders should condemn the killings which are happening only in the reaction ?

Anyone who calls for killing people for drawing a cartoon should be charged with hate speech.

I think it is time we start rounding up people who think this way and prosecute them.

Anyone to tries or kills anyone for making fun of any religion should be prosecuted and receive a life sentence.  His/her family estate should be seized to pay for the incarceration costs.

It is time we expose really bad ideas.  Religion is a collection of fairy tales for adults.

Wake the fuck up people.  The year is 2020 CE, not 2020 BCE.

I have and will never be a fan of cemeteries, they just take too much space, if the loved ones wants to visit a dead relative, why dont they just cremate and store the ashes in a container and keep them in their houses. Lands are becoming expensive and there is lots of overcrowding almost everywhere.

Existing cemeteries should be destroyed and new homes, schools built in their place.  No more new cemeteries.  They serve no purpose.
Waste of resources.

Human corpses should be cremated and ashes used in ag industries, or given back to families if desired.
