721  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 22, 2021, 08:40:07 PM
I believe that the crypto (not Bitcoin alone) is winning the hearts of everyone all over the world. And if we talk about BTC only, it's being given very much importance in Google Search as it topped in Turkey while Lira (the currency of Turkey) falls over 15% in a day. I believe that an extremely hard competition for both paper and digital money (in fiat) arose after BTC got such huge recognition from major institutionalists as well as companies.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: most amazing picture I have ever seen on: March 22, 2021, 07:57:27 PM
In crypto we got crazy leverage up to 125x even and it can make an account evaporate in an instant. Even many Forex brokers in the past had lowered their leverage because too many people were losing money and forex barely moves on a day to day basis, crypto is completely opposite.

I got you covered here, Sergeant.
https://finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/chinese-bitcoin-trader-commits-suicide-121816354.html
Remember a 42yo guy named Hui Yi who traded his user's funds (BTC2000) with a 100x leverage and got liquidated as well as committed suicide? It's not unnatural that people trade with emotions and can sometimes, even get flowed away within. So it's very much advisable to everyone not to add too much salt to the dish, or it may become highly saline which is bad for your health. Those who are clever enough will easily understand what I tried to convey here.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 22, 2021, 07:27:11 PM
Yuvi, Pathan, Sehwag and Sachin were hitting the ball well along with the rest of the players as well and they can be competitive and there is no doubt regarding that. Not sure whether these retired players kept of practicing even after retirement but as long as you have your reflexes and eyesight they will play brilliant knocks if the bowling lineup is weak.

That's what I was trying to say that these big hitters can still play better than our young batsmen (I'm not against any player but it's just my opinion) and we only need our bowlers to be with them and we can still conquer the rest. As you said, I also know that it's just for fun and I'm also revealing some "fun facts" and know that it's almost impossible for me to see them playing on the ground with young players again.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Never delete your old Wallets or Keys on: March 22, 2021, 06:42:42 PM
I too have a story but a different one. I mined korecoins back in 2013-14 period and had around a million of them. At that time, it wasn't worth anything in terms of BTC and even in fiat, so I just deleted my wallet.dat file and forgot about it. Later in 2017 pump, that same coin was worth BTC0.000175 each, so a huge loss of BTC175 which could have been worth $3.5 million based on BTC's ATH then. It's definitely worth saving or keeping our old wallets and/or keys safe with us because we may get surprises any day as it's crypto party going on. Wink
And yeah, badly missing those forks (free money you know  Tongue).
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 22, 2021, 06:18:54 PM
LOL... most of these players (who are participating in the Road Safety World Series) were playing after such a huge gap, and it is not possible for them to maintain enough fitness level for matches against regular players. It was possible for them to perform in a satisfactory way, because both the teams were comprised of retired players. I don't think that they stand a chance against regular players (even those from weak countries such as Zimbabwe).

Lol, are you seriously kidding me here? So you think that those players are "PAANI KAM CHAI" now just because of their age factor? After watching Yuvi hitting those 6's, would you still say that? After seeing Sehwag and Sachin playing on the crease like they never retired, would you still keep the same mindset? I mean, I understand that you didn't disrespect them but the fact is, they retired but never left cricket. If we get to 42 without even practicing and then get to the crease, we'll get bowled at first ball but that's not the case with them.
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: March 21, 2021, 10:43:14 PM
Bitcoin had been dancing a lot between $54k-$60k, and about the price, I think I'll undoubtedly say that we'll not be getting under $50k again soon because the network hashrate, total wallets, Bitcoin's hodling v/s selling, all have gone so far so high in number and whenever that happens, BTC sees spike in its value.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 21, 2021, 10:00:54 PM
If Bhuvneshwar Kumar can maintain his fitness he is always a great bowler but in recent years he is struggling with injuries and if he could overcome that India will be having the best bowling lineup in the world and Mohammad Sami also nursing an injury with his broken hand and hopefully he will be returning in a month or two. With all these absence due to injury we are not seeing Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti which i thought will be a great prospect for India which is sad.

After watching the games of old players (Road Safety series), I wonder what would happen if we give back a chance to a few of them and try them all again? I know that it's not going to work the way I'm thinking but at least they will show their true strength to the new players too. Though, I watched the last game (the one India lost) where KL Rahul went back to the pavilion so quickly, which shows that our major strength which lies in the opening pair still lacks the best person out there to take the spot and play responsibly.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpo on: March 21, 2021, 08:55:12 PM
I doubt how will the team even verify someone if he/she uses a fake person's ID to cheat the system? There are many who sell their IDs for a few bucks, so not a big deal for a cheater.

It doesnt involve any KYC, AFAIK the only requirement for the verification to play on the predictor is to give your username to betnomi so 1 bitcointalk account = 1 betnomi account probably

Even if it's like that, are there some additional measures like the rank of that account over here, their account bound to their betnomi account, minimum posts, etc. to verify that the user is not cheating with Bitcointalk accounts via alts?
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: March 21, 2021, 07:49:40 PM
Sportsbet.io’s very own Southampton FC into the FA Cup semi finals along with Man City, Leicester & Chelsea. I’d love Southampton to win it, would be huge for them. Good they play Leicester in the semis which keeps them away from Man City until a potential final.

For me, it honestly doesn't matter whoever wins the cup but the games, all of them, were breathtaking as well as made me sweat all time whenever I watched each of them because of the fear of losing on my bets lol. I too believe Southampton is in good form and can beat up all these teams except Man City. Man City had been very much dominating since last few matches' (and I even lost some because I played against them).
730  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: March 21, 2021, 07:28:33 PM
Verifications are the only way for a website to go towards, when they are offering such great promotions and have the fear of getting them misused by cheaters. I think that the less the number of participants in that promo, the more the excitement because of getting a chance to win even bigger than what they could win if there are too many participants.

I agree that verification is used to prevent fake account and scam. But verification step for Betnomi, It would be better if Betnomi could just verify it in batch by using our IP address as verification because no matter how good the abuser , there is no way he could have 30 unique IP address. I hope I can participate in freebet competitions again.  Because few weeks ago, I made it to the top 20 and wanted to come back.

Well TBH, there are 4 types of IP addresses, out of which 2 major types for home based internet broadband are Static and Dynamic. Now, Static is like a permanent one whereas Dynamic can change (maybe) every time you log in. So even if you try to verify via IP, it won't work. I doubt how will the team even verify someone if he/she uses a fake person's ID to cheat the system? There are many who sell their IDs for a few bucks, so not a big deal for a cheater.

732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 14, 2021, 07:31:14 PM
Internet connection doesn't really make any difference to the bets placed on casino games but yeah, it ends the excitement we've for that bet as it creates more suspense and that's where we feel extremely awkward and sometimes, it feels itchy (like something is pinning us inside). I believe that you must only be bothered about your internet if you lose in games like Blackjack in between when the internet stops to work during the bet where you were asking to Hit/Stand and all other options.
733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: March 12, 2021, 08:49:26 PM
I am somehow always too slow for this...  Cheesy

If I have a task acomplished, I open Telegram and notice that the winning places are already taken.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

That's one more reason why I have stopped taking these challenges because whenever we try to get a place, we see it's already filled and too late for us. I believe people have become too fast in claiming bonuses nowadays, but I'm not worried about it. I'll wait for a good challenge that suits my playing style and will definitely take it and win. I remember the last time I won it was in February, 2020 so almost over a year ago. Wink
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play fewer hands to earn more strategy - Poker on: March 12, 2021, 08:07:29 PM
While I honestly don't know much about poker games, I asked a question about the same to Yahoo and he said that I should follow:

TwoPlusTwo Forum &
CardPlayer Magazines

in order to learn more about anything related to poker. Hope this may help. Wink
735  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: March 12, 2021, 07:48:14 PM
Damn, the last Telegram challenge was really not easy...
So therefore it took a long time!  Tongue

Still a good challenge. Even though I didn't win anything again... Cheesy

The challenges ask for quite a good amount in BTC as well as the wins expected aren't easy at all, and while trying to catch such wins, we may lose something big so after BTC's value skyrocketed over $30k (not talking about the current value), I stopped taking challenges. I believe I'll wait for the challenges to become more easy for us, and if I encounter any, will definitely hit it up.
736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk and BTC on: March 11, 2021, 09:30:18 PM
@OP, I'm not going to attack you, but I'd like to ask you something.
Aren't Gold, Platinum, Silver, Oil all highly volatile? Still they're traded by these people while these things are probably backed by nothing except their use case. Bitcoin's use case is its need to run the whole crypto economic system and if BTC won't outperform, alts will die. When an asset class of its own kind has born, why do you believe they've got no reasons to buy BTC? When there's profit, when there's a wider audience now who's ready to eat up all your sell orders and when there's more to come, why the hell do you think that these WallStreet guys won't be interested in BTC? You know something mate? BTC is pseudonymous, meaning that those who invest in BTC don't even need to tell anybody that they bought it until their targets are achieved.

Really glad and relieved to hear that the site will be up soon. I hope that our requests won't be gone unheard and that we'll see some good changes coming to the site. Are you going to give us a glimpse of what are we going to see after the issue is resolved? Is it a major update that's ongoing and may be a surprise for us?
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K on: March 11, 2021, 08:23:50 PM
Bitcoin seems to be in a parabolic move, but I don't think that it'll be so easy for BTC to break $100k. The resistance near $50k is still holding hard and BTC retests it again and again while even gets under it many times. I believe that $63k is the max we may see BTC at during this year and it'll remain under $40k till next year after which it'll push back hard and break the $100k area.
Your opinion sounds reasonable and I thought the same thing too, but on the other hand those experts in trading analysist expect Bitcoin to go 100,000$ in the next few months based on their chart.

honestly speaking I would love to see it too, but at the same time it makes me feel scared. expecting the price to go beyond 100,000$ but in the next day after waking up seeing the price goes down for 50%. it is very unpredictable at this moment, everything can happen.
but I still believe we are going to pass 60,000$ before we are going to see the down.

The way you look at this parabolic move to make a crossover above $100k and even $300k as can be seen in the chart, the same way inversely I'm seeing something happening soon. Even if it breaks $60k, I believe there's one more cycle for downside left where BTC will definitely be under $35k if it doesn't continue going up and rather comes down and a new cup formation takes place where BTC will slowly recover back up and then it'll cross $100k.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: March 11, 2021, 08:11:10 PM
This is difficult to indicate when the time is right. You could also look at weather conditions. These can have a major influence on a match. or in situations where a draw is enough for both teams to advance to the next round how not to expect many goals.

TBH, all sports have changed a lot since Covid-19 took place and Soccer is one of them which is seeing unexpected losses in games to the ones who were never expected to lose. I believe that even when the team is good, something if lacks between them can be filled by the audience but if the audience isn't available and the matches are played empty, it may have some impact on the players and their games.
