721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 14, 2023, 09:53:19 PM
Transferring aggression to another gambler
I hate that type of gambler, you do nothing but because the results aren't going with him, he's just mad and trying to look for some reasons to get mad and put that into the others.

You can't earn through gambling, this is the fact.
Being an affiliate you can but that's a hard task to do.

The only behavior some of the gamblers portray and I dislike is going on to steal when they have lost,or borrowing money in the name of gambling. These behaviors are really bad.
Those are terrible attitudes of many gamblers and it is becoming like a normal attitude when we talk about it. It's always gambling that's being blamed when an addicted gambler becomes like those.

723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 14, 2023, 06:54:33 PM
Are you collecting low cap altcoins for the bull market?
Just a few but I didn't invest in them a lot. They're just like a couple of spare bucks.

It sounds like you think low cap altcoins can easily make 100x profits. I don't think so and even if the supply of a good quality project is high then you will get good profit there. Many new investors tend to follow supply more. You should know that there are many low cap altcoins that can't even sail the market in bull seas.
It's actually a trend that many did follow and many have also become successfully profitable with this strategy. That's why for some, this could lead to more profits upon doing so. And you'll hear them say that there's a gem there and here where they've found it. And that's why you also people should invest and follow what they've been doing. But no, that's not how investing should be, whether they're for the low-cap altcoins or higher caps, lower supply or higher supply. It doesn't matter, what matters is you know what the crypto you are investing and you're not blindly following the herd because you have your own way of determining what's a good project to invest and what's not.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram launches crypto currency wallet. on: September 14, 2023, 06:07:16 PM
I have to look at my Telegram account to see if there's a wallet option but I haven't seen one. It may take time until most users will have to use its newly added features for crypto wallet. While there are mixed reactions about this wallet, we're all free to our own opinions and entitled to think what we think about it. What's worrying are of course for the newbies that they need to be careful with such.
They'll have to understand what a centralized and decentralized wallet means. So, if this Telegram's crypto wallet gives no custody to the users, it is not advisable for newbies to start with this wallet. Because it's better to use those traditional crypto wallets that we've known for them to get protected.

725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 14, 2023, 12:11:16 PM
I guess that the Australian government can try to ban crypto gambling, will be interesting to see how they plan to do it and whether will they succeed or not.
That's a good idea and they can run a pilot testing about that. IIRC, there's been an airport that had allowed bitcoin or crypto payments so there's not that much of an issue there. And with them banning crypto gambling, that would probably give a lot of eyes but wasn't it them when they've also done something about online gambling?

It's different with credit cards, banks have all the control and they will do what they want... but with crypto it's different.
Yeah, they're different but maybe they're going to include the other side which is crypto but hopefully they won't be tough and harsh on it.
726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 14, 2023, 10:57:20 AM
What a big mistake from that guy. Even with that $250k, if it's me I guess I'll take profit when it doubles and becomes $500k. But he did really give himself the space for greed and thought himself that he's cool by just holding it for too long. Remember that this market is totally brutal for most of the altcoins. It's totally fine if it's with bitcoin because it's for sure going to recover but uncertain with Dogecoin. We knew it that it had become a trend because Elon gave it space to his own platform and kept on tweeting about it. But we're seeing that without him shilling it, Dogecoin remains to be the funniest meme coin that it has ever been but investing wise, it's not.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I'm buying BTC for cash only. on: September 14, 2023, 10:23:58 AM
If you're from Nederlands, try to find a contact of your other local members through your own local section.
Nederlands (Dutch) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=79.0)
Find someone who may be able to do that for you from there. But instead of doing this meet-up, try to find some other P2P marketplace that suits you, I'm searching through your country but it seems it's a mix and I have no idea if they'll work for you. Well, the lists can easily be googled.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: September 14, 2023, 09:56:04 AM
this is a exchange coin , so this has its own supporter and movement ,
maybe relying a little in bitcoin movement , but it can act on its own.
Let us say that it can act on its own but there is no doubt that it's also moving together with Bitcoin. So no matter how acting on its own, there is no way that it can't go without bitcoin as the majority of the altcoins in the market are all moving together with it.

but...of course theres always a but., as this is as risky way to invest because we knew how prone exchange in attacks and hackings .
Yeah, they've been attacked for how many times but I think they've learned the lesson from there and they won't allow that to happen again. If it ever happens again and there's huge money that's gone from the investors or customers and they cannot compensate that with their own pocket money, well you expect that many will start to dump BNB and pull out their money on Binance.
729  Local / Pilipinas / Re: malisyosong links umatake namaman at nkapagnakaw ng ilang libong dolyar on: September 14, 2023, 04:12:59 AM

730  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Basketball]Gilas Pilipinas Asian Games 2023 Update on: September 14, 2023, 03:38:05 AM

731  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 13, 2023, 11:54:18 PM
What we need to understand first, we have to continue to train and build habits. One thing that can help realize this habit is that you have to have a dream. because to achieve your dreams you have to be disciplined. Many people complain "why can't I change" to me it's because they don't build habits.
Building habits of being frugal in life is one of the best ways to avoid over spending. When you're living according to your means then you're doing it right and you're disciplining yourself. The problem with this current generation is about flaunting in the internet and thinking that it's the standard way of living and that even if you're doing it beyond your means, you have to go according to what others do. But that's wrong, you don't have to be dictated by others' way of living as you're living for yourself and that's why when you're too dependent on the life of others, that's what is going to make your life harder. Just live what you can afford to and just do things accordingly while trying to reach your dreams with the current habits that you have and you're going to live happier and aware of your spending habits.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $28M stolen from CoinEx - are your funds safe? on: September 13, 2023, 11:36:22 PM
I'm not understanding one thing, if they exchange is hacked or some other thing happens, how would someone believe them again and how could they regain their exchange?
There are customers who are loyal to their exchanges. In this case, CoinEx said that they would refund those affected users but they're also assuring that no fund of customers has been touched. That's like a trusting words from them and I have seen this happen in Binance and that's why the word 'safu' became a trend even they were hacked and look at them now, still trusted by many traders.

Nowadays strong security can't even safe the exchanges. Although I didn't have fund it is . Thanks God I'm safe.
Every system has their own weakness and that's why they have to update and there could be some loopholes found in them that's being breached and abused by the hackers. Businesses like exchanges, they're putting a lot of money in security but I guess some trick worked for them that resulted in losing money.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the new Apple toys & Invest in Bitcoin, history always repeat itself. on: September 13, 2023, 11:11:52 PM
There is nothing wrong if someone financially free will buy an iPhone or any gadget that depreciates. Sometimes we have to spoil ourselves if we truly deserve it and you've worked hard and waited for it for a long time. The problem is, that those people who don't have the capacity and even taking loans to buy these gadgets. This has become a status symbol for every class and Apple has successfully injected that in the minds of every kind of this world. So, if you're not able to and you've just got an exact amount, you can invest it in Bitcoin and wait until the new launches comes so you can buy this current latest cheaper in the future. Yes, the features will be as is and there will be more features but one has to analyze his own financial capacity and I agree to OP that instead of buying it, invest it first and save the best for last because you'll never know how much your current money will be if placed into investment like Bitcoin. You may even be able to buy as many as you can in the future and this is what we call delayed gratification.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: September 13, 2023, 10:55:24 PM
Almost all experienced people will say something like this when in the past they have experienced losing some money on online platforms such as gambling sites or crypto markets.
There have been many incidents where people who saved money on online platforms lost all their money when the site closed gambling and cheated many people and I am sure that almost most of the people here have experienced problems like this and advise that it would be wiser not to save money on any online platform.
That is another thing, since you have mentioned about the casino being closed. When you've been on hiatus and the casino where your money has been deposited, you're trusting them but they've sent you a lot of notice and you didn't noticed it because you're too confident. Then, the deadline comes for the withdrawal and your money is still on them, they will take it no matter what unless they will allow you another chance to take it. That's another disadvantage of it, even you trust them but you don't know what's happening on their internal affairs that they already have been dropping and cutting cost but they're not sustainable anymore. So, missing the deadline is gonna lose your money as it's on their email notice. And this scenario happens and will happen in the future for some other casinos there.

Gambling sites aren't one of the safest places to for anyone to save his or her money and that's because of the fact you won't be totally in control of what happens in the site since it was launched by another party. Sometimes, these gambling sites are attacked by hackers and and some people whose money are on the sites ends up losing their money. Also the security of some of the gambling sites aren't that strong and sometimes as well people do maneuver them and get their customers personal login details and take everything they see in the account.
Exactly, you'll never know if they're already being in the eyes of the hackers and the next one to get hacked. Most of the casinos are investing into security, the big ones but if you ever do this on a starting casino and not yet established, well, you can't ask for more.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating a token without money on: September 13, 2023, 10:33:34 PM
Trying to make a token famous on a shoestring budget is like trying to win a marathon in flip-flops. While it's a tough road, it's not impossible. You'll need a killer idea, a strong community, and some serious hustle. But remember, in the crypto world, even with capital, it's a rollercoaster, so brace yourself for some twists and turns!
Yeah, it's not impossible but you gotta do the impossible just as what they're saying. The majority of the successful projects that we've seen have got budgets not just with their pockets but also have some support and ready-funds if ever they're still in need. Let's say some of them didn't really have funds but they still made success. Well, that was before, and before is different today. When investors see that you've got not enough funding for the project, they're just likely to dump you whenever you're in the exchange already. And how much more if the exchange where you first get listed is even an ugly exchange where most of the shitcoins are being put. @OP, if you have a plan out there on making one, many will discourage you because that's what is the reality about crypto projects and you shouldn't add anymore to the many shitcoins that we have in the market already.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: September 13, 2023, 10:06:23 PM
Real state KS beneficial and those who bought bitcoin 10 years ago have experience maximum profit too so it means that your profit will increasing depending on the time that how longer you keep your asset to allow you passive income.

Those who have accepted gold investment have also large sum of money if they sell gold now because as we compare the duration of 10 years ago with 10 years now so price of everything become increased.

Now only the value of investment increased but our daily expenses, food and beneficiaries also get higher prices so simply is that every asset is full of beneficial gains if we keep it with great efforts.
Everything that increases is also accompanied by an increase in goods and that's inflation. That's why the value of those assets is also increasing based on the market value of those and they can't just stay forever at those prices and that's how the real estate market works.
While cryptos are also like that to be specific with Bitcoin, it is also increasing but we're seeing how balanced it is when it dumps. Those who don't believe in it are going to choose traditional assets like real estate and there is nothing wrong with that. Owning a business and having bitcoin on your investments are the two riskier choice than of buying real estate.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: September 13, 2023, 07:53:40 PM
I am sure, for those who are not familiar with gambling then of course, they will not save their money on online gambling platform. But for those who are used to gambling because at the same time, they are also used to making deposits in online gambling. So at least, this factor will make them feel comfortable saving their money on the platform they usually use.
While those gamblers are confident in saving their money on the casino they use, there really are those people who are doing this for their own particular reasons that some may not understand. And despite you give them a warning, they know what they are doing.

But still, saving money on an online gambling platform will not be right or good if you use it for the long term. But it's also possible, if the gambling platform has a license which of course, will make its users feel safe. So yes, it is possible that there are many users who save their money there for a possibly longer period of time. But one thing we must remain aware of is that we must also have awareness and calculations about the money we should to save and the money we will use for gambling.
It's just like the exchanges that we're using, they're also licensed but we don't want to keep most of our money there. If you like to do that and has full confidence on them, you're free to do that and no one can stop you. The only reason why we're telling not to keep that much is because we don't have the custody over our deposits here and whenever an attack happens and the attackers are able to touch all funds including yours, it's possible that you wont get any refund so there is no assurance with that.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 13, 2023, 07:29:40 PM
By the way, Baltazar skip the PBA draft, not sure for the actual reason, but maybe he still wanted to continue his game playing with his Kapampangan squad.
Maybe the contract he's got in his team is intact and his bond with MPBL can't be breached and that's why he has to skip the draft. Perhaps, he can be signed by any team directly without going through the draft right? There are interesting names that are in this year's PBA draft and some could really be on the top pick while the unknown names as well that don't follow collegiate leagues might be surprise on those names that might be on top pick.

To many speculation regarding on his decision to skip on PBA draft but maybe he just realize that maybe he will go to corporate super teams and sit on the bench. This situation can totally waste his talent so maybe he decide to stay on MPBL and wait better contract like in Japan B-league or in KBL where he can get a better compensation and exposure. Let see if his decision will change and he decide to get draft on PBA next season.
If I were him, I'll stay to MPBL if I am treated right and earning earnestly. But he can't ignore the opportunities that might come to him if ever a B League team invites him or from KBL or even from Taiwan.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: September 13, 2023, 06:48:30 PM
To the not-yet-tied guys and gals out there. If you don't want your soon-to-be companion in life to touch your holdings, just get into a prenuptial agreement of what you own like assets in crypto or real estate or as in anything. It's an agreement for those that you haven't heard it yet.
And this is also the reason why many marriage got their own downfall when they don't agree to each other in terms of finance, assets and investments. That's why before you tie the knot, make it sure that both of agreed to the likes of each other and accepts whatever it is because both of you are on your behalf and have each other's back.

prenuptial agreement still depends, if not a written or a documented agreement women can be deceptive and might agree and until she one day finds out the actual worth of your assets, look at what happened in the case of hakim that is wife almost went away with is assets, just better to pray for a better spouse instead of gold diggers, people like Elon have there reasons for not getting married. The situation   is that once you marry, you and your wife are supposed to be one, and the best way to make your marriage work and avoid divorce is to make it work. Marriages don't even last the way it use to be.
It won't be called an agreement if it's not written. Maybe can be said as a verbal agreement but there's no strong evidence that it has happened if you don't have a written agreement. We can learn a lot from many situations just as one with the op. So, those that are not yet in an intimate relationship and you've got plans to unite in one, just have a casual talk and agreement with your partner, and if you think that you're willing to give all to him/her, just think of it. As much as possible, we're all wishing that all unions are going to be ending as what's said in front of the altar or based on their ceremonies that they're going to be together til' death. But it is changing today, til' wealth.

After the operation which took 8 hours, the pain became worse and she continued to visit the same hospital till 2023 when the husband decided to take her to Jos University Teaching Hospital where they discovered that her kidney was removed.
[...]

If Doctor Noah didn't remove the kidney, how come he didn't discover that the woman's kidney had been removed?
Like? really?!! did this happen?!! What a hospital for being irresponsible and what type of ethics do they have for doing that? Honestly, when I was reading, this incident came to my mind (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/lucy-letby-sentencing-british-nurse-murdered-7-babies-life-in-prison/).
Comparing them, there's no difference between being unethical and they're being trusted by their patients but then, they're doing something crazy beyond the thought of these innocent patients. I think that there's something behind that hospital like they're after the organs and sells it to the other patients and much likely the richer ones or even the black-market.
