721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects are abusing blockchain technology. on: October 10, 2018, 11:13:26 PM
I have been just in the crypto world for 5 months. I have tried to learn about blockchain, bitcoin, altcoins,... and I realize that blockchain is being abused.

Many projects are launched with the ideas of using blockchain. But actually, blockchain is not necessary to implement their projects. It just seems to follow the trend of tokenization. And their tokens are utility tokens, real "utility", which are utilized to raise their funds. There is no reality application of blockchain. I think everything will be good if it is enough. Will blockchain become worst if they continuely abuse it?

What do you think about this problem?
This is really nothing new, when there was the bubble in the stock market and the Internet stocks were going up dramatically many companies were created that began to use the Internet as a way to raise funds when they knew very well their business model had nothing to do with Internet, this is just a repetition of that and unfortunately there is nothing we can do.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple (XRT) unseat Ethereum (ETH)? on: October 10, 2018, 11:03:51 PM
Ripple bankers support, which means that he will have a great future.
The support coming from the bankers is precisely the reason why many people in this market do not want to buy ripple at all, so while the support of the bankers is without a doubt important because they are very powerful at the same time you need the support of the community and ripple is not going to get it because many think that is not even a cryptocurrency.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: October 10, 2018, 10:40:56 PM
First, this is not my story, this is a story that a couple, their happiness may be shattered when the husband invests in cryptocurrency and now he is in danger of losing all the money he has invested. And this is the whole story told by the husband
"In early 2017, I went out with a bunch of friends and heard about a new investment field, cryptocurrency, and at that moment, the field seemed not to be a trend, so I just laughed and ignored it. However, as you know, the storm came in August and October of 2017, the news and media constantly talk about the strong growth and terrible price of bitcoin and of course, I've heard a lot of people become millionaires in that time. Although I have been very careful and understand that high profits will come with high risk but over time, the curiosity and the constant news attacked me, which made me plunge into investment.

And a series of tragedies began to take place from here, in the first stage, I was still very careful and calculating, not greedy but this job is really too much pressure, the market situation makes me tense and tired. In addition, the news and people constantly gave me confidence and made me hope the price of bitcoin increased to $50k and because of that, I decided not to sell anything and then as everyone knows, the market has begun to decline in 2018. Again, I continue to comfort and encourage myself, everything will be fine, I'm still profitable, bitcoin will increase again, so I searched the bottom of the bitcoin and started throwing money into the altcoin and holding on to the long term.

And life is not a dream, the price of the whole market fell, bitcoin almost touched 6k and the common mentality of everyone, seeking restoration and light of hope. I became a short-term trader but with the horror of the market, my capital began to become smaller and smaller, until one day, I almost lost everything, mental breakdown, depressed mood and depression, a very inhibitory emotion, all created something very chaotic, often arguing with my wife unreasonably."

And here is my comment on this story, never think you can become a millionaire in this market when you are just another prey of the other, whales always create beautiful scenery and pictures of the future, that is not true. Play with passion, instead of playing with greed and everything we have, accumulate more experience and absolutely should not give up the main job.

What is your opinion of this story?
Many concentrate in the few stories of individuals making fortunes out of the market because they want to believe they could be the next, but the truth is the story is a lot more common than what many people think but many are afraid to recognize that they made a mistake when they invested in this market and prefer to hide that information, let this story be a lesson to all of us if you're not careful you can lose all your money.
724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the hype starting? on: October 10, 2018, 09:45:50 PM
Right now im 50/50 on things.

On one hand, I believe we've already bottomed, and we are not going to break below the $6k resistance line, and if we do, it will be a quick dip as usual, only to get bought up thus strengthening the cost of production theory. So worst case scenario, we stay at a stable price for a long time until next FOMO cycle to $100k+. All these guys predicting lower prices with their TA get proven wrong once again (just like the were wrong when calling lower peaks than $20k)

On the other hand, I feel like there's still too many noobs holding coins which may need to get triggered into panic selling before we can stat shooting for the next ATH. This may include someone famous rage quitting as well, which would mark the end of the bear market.
This is what makes holding bitcoin so interesting to me, this is not only about making money or being part of a revolution that is going to change the world to me this is very interesting as well because the movements of bitcoin are so abrupt and difficult to predict that just watching the market moves is really interesting, because I like to try to find explanations of why the market moves the way it does even if sometimes there is no explanation at all.
725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: October 09, 2018, 08:19:01 PM
Not everything is bullshit, if you can hold the right coin then surely you will earn benefit, but if you just hold the coins that do not have potential in the future, then your patience during this time will not produce good results. So try to hold only on coins that have great potential in the future.
This is something that I have been saying for some time but for some reason people refuse to listen, holding your coins for a very long time is only effective if the value of those coins goes up during that time frame and the only way that is going to happen is if you invest in coins that bring something new to the market, holding coins that are just copies of other coins is not going to give you profits.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid when the market is slowly going down? (Crypto Crash) on: October 09, 2018, 08:11:01 PM
yes I am afraid bro, but what can we do? Lots of us are just bagholders who literally can't sell for today's prices after the prices we saw in December/January
we just have to hold and think positive
It really depends on what type of coins you are holding, if you are holding bitcoin or other coins that have very high market caps then you have nothing to worry the only thing that you need to do is to concentrate on holding your coins and not selling them for a loss, but if you are holding altcoins that were created in the year of 2017 or in this year then it's likely that you are in trouble.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really driven by individuals? on: October 09, 2018, 08:05:50 PM
Bitcoin is seen as a currency that is not regulated by any institute. It does not generate any revenue and therefore, has a zero minimal value. What then brings about its value and drives it as well?
The value of something comes from different several sources, and when it comes to bitcoin its value comes from being a network that no one controls directly and that cannot be censored, that is very valuable in itself and when you add the fact that you have a coin that is not controlled by any centralized party then it's not really weird to find that people are giving a very high value to it.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2018, 07:57:16 PM
I have been in the market since 2017, the moment of strong burst of cryptocurrency. By 2018, there is a significant setback for cryptocurrency, but that does not stop me from believing in this market. While everyone expects a rebound at the end of the year, I expect again the market will plummet and BTC may return  4000$.

Am i crazy are not? No! Because I look at long-term value, long-term investment rather than just looking at the short term, I have always believed in the rapid growth of the cryptocurrency market in the years to come, so this is the time when I will invest in cryptocurrency. And you? Please tell me about your intent?
And what price are you expecting bitcoin to reach in the next years? Because you seem to be waiting for the price of bitcoin to go even lower but I really do not see such great benefits of doing that, the price of bitcoin is already very good and it's impossible to know what it is going to happen exactly so you are taking a huge risk by waiting for bitcoin to go down again when it could easily go up in value as well.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run can be surprising? on: October 09, 2018, 07:20:28 PM
not be suprising.

because everybody is waiting a bull run from april 2018.

but it will come in 2020 in my opinion.
Exactly, how many people were expecting for a bull market to appear so suddenly in 2017? If you take the time to read the forum you will see that no one was expecting such a huge movement by cryptocurrencies, so now that everyone is expecting that bull run to happen then it is obvious that it is not going to happen, so the bull run is going to take years to materialize.
730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: October 06, 2018, 03:48:02 AM
I invested into some coins this January and my hope was cryptcoins are going to increase in price this year but the reverse is the case.
I can still remember some coins that I bought around $24 and $25 dollars in January and I am still holding them. Currently those coins are less than 2 dollars respectly. I doubt if I will be able to be patient until price get back to were I bought them and I do seriously regret bought those coins at the wrong time.
My worst investment came last year when I put my faith in an ico that seemed to be promising but my prediction failed completely when it came to that coin and I lost a little bit more than half of the money that I invested, it was very disappointing but at the end I learned a lot of valuable lessons about what to look when investing in an ico so I am sure that from now on I'm not going to make that mistake again.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Successful ICO Really Require $$$$ on: October 06, 2018, 03:35:13 AM
Can I crypto company be successful with a min budget during the ICO? For example, can a startup not have funding and successful launch an ICO to include whitepaper, landing page, smart contract if they are knowledgeable? Or is a lot of $$$$$$$ required for everything. I for one thing that the idea and vision is what sells. Especially if the person is transaparent and people buy in the vision. I think word of mouth will travel and people will buy in.
The need for money is exaggerated in this market, just look at the most successful coin that we have which is bitcoin, how much money did satoshi asked from the community to create bitcoin? He did not ask for any kind of money and yet he created the best coin that we have, so a truly dedicated developer could create a coin with no money if he wanted, but if he wanted to accelerate the process a few million dollars could be enough.
great point, but why are several people saying that it takes so much $$$$$$ just to launch an ICO?
Because they are trying to sell the idea that in order to develop a successful project you need a lot of money, when in fact the only thing that you need to develop a great project is a computer and your ability to code, if your idea was worthwhile I'm sure that many talented people that do not really care about the money will be willing to work in it for free.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: October 06, 2018, 03:26:28 AM
Crypto trading can bring you a lot of money, but you can also lose all your savings. I think that trade is worth it to borrow, but before you start trading is to learn this.

Trading cryptocurrencies can without a doubt make you a lot of money if you know what you are doing however if you do not have the capital to start trading then do not do it, it is not a smart idea to borrow money to try to make money in the markets, I say this because even the best traders and even the best investors have some bad moments and you could lose all that money that is not even yours.
733  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for bitcoin on: October 06, 2018, 03:21:26 AM
I see that bitcoin is rasing and I am very happy about this because I have my investments in it) So I hope it's price will only grow in the future)
If you are expecting that a new bull market appears anytime soon then you are going to be very disappointed because it is going to take a few years for that to happen, so for the time being make sure that you hold your coins in a safe place and avoid being hacked, because as bitcoin becomes more valuable I'm sure that hackers are going to do everything to try to get to your coins.
734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome my fear and how to start trading? on: October 06, 2018, 02:52:12 AM
Just do it. Invest the amount you are willing to lose (for each person it may be different). If you are afraid to trade, then no one forces you. You can just hold top coins. This can be bitcoin and ether (for example).
Now good prices for buying currencies. Let them just be in your account. In parallel, you can learn and when your knowledge will pacify your fear, start practicing on small amounts (for example, $10).
While your advice is correct many people have a lot of problems trying to identify how much money they are willing to lose, because it is very easy to say that you are willing to lose the capital they decide to invest but once you begin to trade you will notice that your anxiety will go up a lot faster than you thought and as soon as that fear consumes you, you will not be able to trade efficiently anymore.
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: October 05, 2018, 02:03:13 AM
Every day I see more and more people starting to feel hopeless with the current market situation because of uncertainty when prices will recover and end this fall. Even more and more traders are deciding to resign from trading and sell all of their assets but that makes the price even more falling.
Anyone that has been in the market for long enough gets to understand that if you give up then you will never recover your money, the ones that eventually become great traders are not those that at the first signs of difficulties give up, the ones that become great traders keep refining their systems until they find a way to predict the market and make profits with their trades.
I agree.Professional traders understand already the fluctuations and whenever the price keeps falling,it doesn't mean that we should also lost our hope, instead it's a great chance to buy more potential coins and hold them for a longer time. The market price surely will not  keep its price low forever,it has its own time to increase and by that time, huge profits are already waiting for us.
What it happens is that many of the traders that enter this market have very mistaken views about what they're going to be able to achieve, a professional trader understands that no matter how good he is, it is going to be impossible for him to win every trade and yet I see a lot of people that as soon as they lose a few trades they get scared and decide to never trade again.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Weird transaction. Where are all my BTC?! on: October 05, 2018, 01:56:03 AM
I am only one to know my password.
One hour before the transaction, I was on the web to try to download the Utorrent soft, and a little clock app was installed on my pc.
I was thinking about a publicity software, but I open it, and deleted it at once after.
If I understand your awnser,  Navi, I think that this little clock app was probably a virus?
I’m so angry!!
I'm sorry for your loss but it's very likely that you downloaded a piece of software that was infected.

I really do not like the idea of trying to secure your system because you're never going to be sure that is completely clean, so it is better for you to make a fresh install that you know is completely virus free and then you can install a wallet there and if possible never use it for anything other than to to use your wallet.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: October 05, 2018, 01:31:47 AM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?
No one forces you or anyone else to do anything in this forum or anywhere else, if you are not happy about the pay that you can get out of bounty campaigns you can do whatever other activity that you may like and that can give you more profits, the Internet is full of opportunities for all those that are willing to work hard to earn a lot of money, they just need to figure out how to do it.
738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Big mistakes for a beginner in cryptocurrencies ✌ on: October 05, 2018, 01:10:20 AM
This are real problems faces by a beginner in the industry and it only takes experience or good mentorship for a beginner not to fall into such mistake. This article was helpful and I also learned new things with it
There are many people that have been around the market for a very long time and yet they make the very same mistakes, so I really do not think that this is a problem of the newbies not taking care of their coins, this is a general problem that happens because people are not used to take care of their computer files as much as they should.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DO MOST PEOPLE FORGET BITCOIN SO SOON? on: October 03, 2018, 11:21:01 PM
Anytime i see some members of this forum asking "Is Bitcoin dead"?, or "Is this the fall of bitcoin" i just become speechless because it is so shocking to hear that within just six months when bitcoin improved the financial status of people last year without any hard sweating people have forgotten about it so soon. I now understand the saying that "Men forgets easily". Well i can't really blame them but I know the few Real Crypto Enthusiasts like myself still believe in BITCOIN and we are going to keep investing in it because we know that the its value will rise with time.
There are two types of people that ask those kind of questions, newbies that have not been around for a very long time and do not know how much bitcoin has gone through, and the second type of person is the kind that is only interested in making money in the market and doesn't care about the technology at all, so when they see the price going down bitcoin is no longer fulfilling its function, so for them bitcoin is dying or something ridiculous like that.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Alt market is testing you: Will you break! on: October 03, 2018, 11:14:38 PM
Never. I've already spent so much money on this that I can't give it up. It has become a part of my life and there is no chance to go back.

I am the same, I knew that something like this could happen and I knew that no matter what happened I will never surrender my coins to the market especially for a loss, and now that I have gone through such a huge crash and were able to hold my coins then I know that no matter what happens I'm not going to sell my coins for a bad price which means that I'm going to make a lot of profits thanks to the next bull market.
