7382  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DT members Please check this Libra ANN thread before people invest in this. on: June 21, 2019, 11:31:50 AM
Yes this is more definitely a scam attempt, trying to trick people into thinking they are investing into the coin from Facebook.
They use a different URL than the official project, with a similar website.
Real Libra project URL is https://libra.org/ and not https://libraproject.io

Opening a flag.

Flag open : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=245
This is called phishing attempt. Obviously the guy is trying to mislead the newbies. In fact I was thinking it's a normal ANN by may be someone who is representing Facebook but after seeing the above quote I can to the real world :-P

Anyway, supported the flag.
7383  Other / Meta / Re: Heisenberg's Merit Source Application for the Indian Board on: June 21, 2019, 11:14:32 AM
I think you deserve it. I see you in Bitcoin Technical Support board very often. Very helpful to others.

Adding him in the merit source list will help the other users to receive merits.

Consider this as my endorsement for you application.

Good luck bud.
7384  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinpayments - Service Restriction Notice on: June 21, 2019, 11:11:28 AM
I do not like service like coinpayments and bitpay. Crypto will better off without them. Crypto is here for everyone not for this and that country. My suggestion to the people who are using coinpayments and bitpay, why not use Paypal instead?

Please Note:  At the end of the contest, if you're one of the top 20, you must claim your prize by PMing ethan_nx on YOLOdice  by typing /pm 1 and then just let him know you're a winner.
Excuse my ignorance, I have never been in Yolodice. How would I know that I am in the top 20 list? Do you have a public list to see the ranking for this?

Cheers :-)

Looks like I will be getting 2 points today.  Grin
You were doomed :-P

As expected Sri Lanka is struggling. My pick was easy win for England and I can hope for this margin result. Anyone have any idea how much run Sri Lanka can score from this stage? My guess is not more than 220 :-)

No bet on Bangladesh today. No disrespect to Bengal tigers but I don't see them chasing even 320 runs against Oz's bowlers, forget about 350 plus.

And If Oz wants to touch 350 marks, then they need to get rid one of their batsman at the right time " Usman Khawaja" dude can't play fast Tongue. if Maxwell comes in after 40 overs then we can see good hitting, if he manages to middle the bat.
I took a chance knowing that I will lose (don't care much) :-P

You see the odd?

I may even cash out at some point If I see there are any chance.
7388  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says- If Bitcoin Breaks 100k you can bet it will break a million on: June 20, 2019, 10:29:26 AM
John McAfee, the future presidential candidate says that If Bitcoin Breaks 100k you can bet it will break a million.

What's your point of view on this, let me know!
Do not take him too seriously.  When people gets old they usually just talk without meaning anything :-P
7389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 20, 2019, 10:26:37 AM
Has anyone placed any bet in this Australia vs Bangladesh match? Anyone dare to risk some money for Bangladesh? The way they chased the WI I think Australia will surely aim for 350+ runs and so far it looks very possible. No damage has been done yet.

This score won't be easy, if Kane and Guptil will out soon, they have to play sensibly and let Rabada finished his 1st spell before taking so much risk.
It's a great chance for New Zealand, if they win today, most probably they will through for Semi Final.
Both strike bowlers are doing very well. It's not going to be an easy chase. New Zealand needs to settle down first. Take the time then they can go for chasing the run.

A question:- If we pick the team and forget to lock it before the match start, will it get automatically locked ?
You need not to worry about locking a pick. Once the match start they lock the match.

Back to the match, South Africa got their first success. Munro was unlucky. Bat to pad and pad to the air and Rabada managed to catch it from is follow throw.

On a side note, I do not want South Africa to win anymore :-P
7392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 19, 2019, 02:31:31 PM
If I am not wrong, NZ needs to chase almost the same runs in less number of overs, right?
Whatever the score, New Zealand will need to chase it in 49 overs coz this is a 49 over match. 2 balls left for South African inning. So far 231.

Edit: Dussen added more 10 runs form the last two balls. So New Zealand will need to chase 241 runs to win.

Let it be an easy win, please.  Tongue

I never would've chosen South Africa win today, NZ was an easy pick, really.
I will be paying the prize of experimenting LOL

Every odds were against South Africa but I considered two points:
1. New Zealand were playing weaker teams
2. South Africa's do or die match

but seems like I am wrong. My experiment did not work :-P
7394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 19, 2019, 01:14:34 PM
I've already won my single bet for today - De Kock total: Under 35.5 (1.92)  Cheesy
LOL I though you always had confident for De Kock and used to go with over market :-P

Anyway, congrats bud.

This is not a good day for me. Already lost two bat in 20 and 25 overs market. A 7 fold is in risk as well (well going to lose coz I picked SA to win). Not going to gamble anymore in this match unless I find something sure win.

Appreciate the incentives that you are giving for the round winners.

As expected... South Africa in dire straits against the New Zealand pace battery. This match will be the last nail in the coffin for South African cricket. Once they were regarded as a cricketing powerhouse. And now they are unable to put up a credible performance against teams such as New Zealand. The racial quotas have killed the South African cricket. They lost a lot many of the promising white players due to this stupid quota system.
From this stage I can see the New Zealand is going to have a trashing win today.

South Africa is not looking good. New Zealand bowlers are too tight for them to move. I had two bets,
score over 96.5 in 20 overs and score over 118.5 runs in 25 overs.

Seems like I am going to lose both bets :-(

Also, in the pool I may get no point today.

I can see you bet on SA having a comfortable win. It's too risky but glad to see you supporting and 2 others supporting a weak side. After Ban's win, anything is possible in this WC and in cricket itself. But still if SA wins, it may be due to bad bowling or fielding of NZ and it won't be comfortable IMO.

I am waiting for the toss and depending on the outcome and the very latest news I may change my pick. This is why I do not lock my pick.

Like yesterday, Initially I was considering England to have a comfortable win but after toss when they decided to bat first then I knew that they are going for a big score so I gone with trashing win and it was correct which gave me 2 points :-)
7398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 19, 2019, 10:20:37 AM
Feel bad for NZ as if this match gets abandoned, it would be their second N/R game. Even if they play the game, still there are chances that the number of overs would be reduced. This entire WC is boring due to rains. Still hope NZ manages to play atleast 30-35 overs and their winning is almost guaranteed as SA is already out of the game with so many losses.
No worries we are going to see a 49 overs (both side) match.

This is a do or die match for South Africa. The current New Zealand team is high in confidence, they have good record against South Africa too. I am not sure how much this South Africa team can do against them however I am having this feeling that South Africa may win this match.
7399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 18, 2019, 05:22:09 PM
I made it! Archer is the top bowler :-P

Edit: A new bet

England Top Bowler
Archer, Jofra @ 3.35

High risk :-P
The stake was only 0.001BTC, shame on me :-D

Anyway, as expected, England had this trashing win. Seems like I am leading the pool :-D

7400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 18, 2019, 02:03:11 PM
Seriously this match is so boring from the start. England went on making runs and now AFG will keep losing wickets and ultimately lose by 200 runs. Already 5 for 1 Cheesy
That's why I placed a bet for Archer to be the top bowler LOL

I will wish (unrealistic) no one pick wickets but Archer :-P

Anyway joke aside, although Naib is hitting the balls but I do not think for team like Afghanistan, this match has anything left except playing for honer.
