761  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 24, 2024, 11:58:05 PM
Some savings are necessary in life as these savings will be some recourse in your old age. But of course, investment should be given priority over savings. According to me, investment should be prioritized for four reasons.
For the older ones, savings are a must because they can't take any longer risk unless they've got a huge savings that they can attain to lose money by taking risks with investments. It's best for the younger ones to invest at an early stage because they can attain to make mistakes and they can recover eventually, that's why the old ones are good to have with what's left on them if they ever have saved and invested at their young age. And as they grow old, it's best to them to just enjoy the profits they've made to enjoy life.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the Hot Crypto Trends for the upcoming 2024/25 Bull Market? on: February 24, 2024, 11:12:12 PM
I don't want to remember that Terra Luna debacle because there were too many people that have been fooled by those who invested in them. And from that money of those victims, they thought that it was actually a good project and many did think the same but we all ended up being fooled by them. It's so hard to accept those moments that these projects that many seem to be optimistic with turned that they're just another project trying steal people's money. We've got all sort of genre for many projects nowadays because bull run is approaching, and I agree about AI projects too.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: February 24, 2024, 10:27:56 PM
I think I will follow in your footsteps to pay attention to current market conditions. because I also feel confused about the current market conditions. and chances are I will sell the altcoin and buy it again when it's cheap later. I'm afraid the market is currently in a correction phase. and will launch freely in the near future.
It is the usual cycle that we're doing during these times. We sell or we buy and then do the opposite when it's doable. Like for this time, when it's quite up, we sell and wait again for the moment when it will be down again. The correction is the time that gives us the opportunity to buyback because it's cheaper again. And when you're able to sell at the top of it, you did a good job because you did it at the right time without any problems.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: February 24, 2024, 11:13:55 AM
Identifying a market shift to bearish trends can be done by several signs. For instance, worsening economic conditions, declining trading volumes, reduced investor interest, and an overall negative market sentiment may indicate that the market is turning bearish. It's important to closely monitor news and market changes to pick up on these signals.I also know that some people determine it using technical indicators, but I'm not familiar with them
The very clue that we have in the market is after the bull run and what you have said is true that when the market is declining not just in volumes but also in prices. Those are the clear signs that we're going into a bear and that's why you have to be careful into checking what you should monitor and not just all about the market itself but also the news and fundamentals that you may have been missing all of these times because the clues are also there.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: February 24, 2024, 10:20:06 AM
and also nowadays there are only few that has single coin in their pocket because we knew how diversifiying is the best way to invest.
Diversifying is the best way to invest if you ever have been holding bitcoin and you're satisfied with its amount. Due to that, many diversify their assets and chooses to invest into another altcoin because they think that what they're holding right now is sufficient.

If I had 1BTC I would definitely sell when the market rises and buy bitcoins again when the market falls.
This is the best approach, don't diversify yet when the market isn't at the peak or when it's not yet satisfying for the price of it. And then when you have stacked cash already with your profit there, that's the time that you're going to wait until you buy back in some time in the future again.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit has invested in crypto: the beginning of a new crypto wave? on: February 24, 2024, 02:53:33 AM
1. Not really because I think there was some news before that they're into crypto but not specifically in Bitcoin or any other altcoin.
2. Possible.
3. Beneficial of course because they add volume and demand to the market.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 24, 2024, 12:16:00 AM
Underperforming almost a year later. Maybe it needs some drastic changes, marketing. Top 30 coin and its topic is dead.  Sad
I have observed it during the news that it's going to halve but then, not that really pushing through. I've checked the other dedicated forum of it but it seems that the community of it isn't really active at all with these forums that they can chit chat and discuss about LTC.
Well, surprisingly, the market cap is still there for being a top 21 coin in the market but then, I don't really see a lot of discussions about it yet it retains its market capitalization which means that its supporters are still there and active.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exploring Costless Play To Earn NFT Games With Active Communities on: February 23, 2024, 11:21:53 PM
Honestly, with most of these NFT games. if you're not going to invest and will rely on the free terms that they have. The profit opportunity that you'll be getting is limited and that's how they set this rule for everyone to invest and have that thinking that they'll earn more if they invest and have these NFTs. Anyway, good luck in finding those games that you like since I am done with most of them. I just don't think that it's worth it anymore and the fun is no longer there.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Participation in Miner pools on early stages in beneficial or not?? on: February 23, 2024, 10:59:28 PM
Speaking for the majority of the projects and not with these likely scams and ponzis, sI think that they're beneficial when you're at the early stage because the cuts are pretty much high and then when the project becomes successful, you'll mostly be happy with the reward that will be distributed to you. But with the percentage of return as a daily reward, that's crazy and unbelievable to be likely a ponzi as the others have pointed out.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin, for long time Holding on: February 23, 2024, 10:16:21 PM
Of course Bitcoin is better to hold long term. Those who hold Bitcoin long term have had much more success here. Short-term Bitcoin holders may not gain much, instead they face more losses. Investment should be in such a way that after making the investment there is no need to look back on that investment later. If the investment is not looked back after investment then the person can definitely hold for long term.
Short term holders can make money too but this time, the higher amount you invest, the more satisfying that you'd do. This is the reality now in investing in Bitcoin and those that are cycle investors understand that and that's why they're trying to research and look for altcoins that they want to invest. But if you're for stability and security, there's no other better crypto than choosing Bitcoin. You're at the right hand if you're going to invest long term in Bitcoin.
771  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 23, 2024, 09:48:53 PM
The next halving is slated to happen in mid-2024
The mid of this year is on June 2024. The estimated time of halving is on April. It's far from the mid although I understand that it's just for the sake of article. But it's best for these article to check first what they say and better say that it's gonna happen on Q2.

It’s possible to see the new ATH before the halving and we still have enough time to reach it
Almost 2 months but I don't think we'll see that but yes, it's possible but I don't want to hope on it that much.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is technology really important for investment decisions? on: February 23, 2024, 09:16:32 PM
Are you entering the crypto market to pursue technology or profit?
Maybe yes, there have been projects that are into tech and take it mostly with Bitcoin. Everyone understands how blockchain works because of it and then it got an extension with these projects that came out and imitated and became altcoins.

For you, is the project's technology important to the investment decision?
More of the use case but we can include and say that it's a yes and it is very important in making an investment decision. If we do our research, we are determined in investing on it because we took time in knowing if it's a good one or not.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token brings you the most profit? on: February 23, 2024, 08:44:52 PM
Now, I want to hear from you!
Which project/token brought you the most significant profit?
If Bitcoin is an exception, it is Ethereum for me.

How did you use profit?
Reinvested it into Bitcoin and bought some physical things that I wanted like gadgets.

What impact did your success have on your life?
It taught me how to manage my money well and every profit that I make because it's not an easy thing to profit from this market.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: February 23, 2024, 08:14:36 PM
Did you know that no trader ever share there loss in the market other than the profit they make everyday every hour the success
That's true because all they share are their wins. But for those that are in the social media, most of them don't want to share their losses because that will give them bad impression.

Just imagine if they ever share how much they loses a week a month a year you would be happy you don't trade
They wouldn't be happy to share that because it will affect their reputation especially if they have a strong social media presence.

If you cant afford to lose your money don't ever think of trading because you might end up losing your life when you are in debt because of trading
And instead of trading, they can change their coarse into holding and investing which is much better.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remarkably, how would you rate your past AltCoins price and now? on: February 23, 2024, 03:21:40 PM
The value of altcoins has dropped a lot investors can be successful if they choose the right currency to hold.
This time? I don't think that they've dropped a lot and in fact, many of them are keep on giving airdrops to everyone and those joiners are happily taking their profits there.

I also had a lot of failures holding coins that turned into shitcoins. Altcoins should be thoroughly researched before evaluating them to reduce the risk of loss. Among the altcoins Eth or BNB gives the best long term results. Investors who are in a positive position in these markets are less likely to fail.
Those altcoins that you've mentioned are part of the majority that are holding them for long term because I hold them too. And you're right about choosing altcoins, many of them should do research because it's not easy as it seems when you check them out and later on, dump comes to most of them.
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: February 23, 2024, 01:35:18 PM
I wouldn't trust an exchange that was just made last month. I know that you're starting out but if it's about the trust of my money and deposits, I'll choose the other reputable exchanges. Why would I use one that's new without any assurance than of the others that are more trustworthy?
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency. on: February 23, 2024, 12:12:06 PM
Just looking at the wave of cryptocurrency and going with the rate of adoption, where do you all see the future of cryptocurrency in the next 20years or more from now. Are transactions going to be more of in cryptocurrency than fiat in all ramifications of society as it concerns finance?
No one knows. As for Satoshi, he said this for Bitcoin.

I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.

And while this is for Bitcoin, we all know how influential Bitcoin is for the whole market. So, if there will be large transactions for Bitcoin by that time then so as for the altcoins too. Otherwise, there might no volume at all.
778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: February 22, 2024, 11:45:31 PM
As a trader, we must know how to determine if we need more capital or not.
Usually, we've got the same logic in trading. The higher the capital, the better and more potential higher profits but it's not always the case because the results depend on the trader himself.

We must consider our situation before doing this just to ensure that we never make more losses instead of profits. Or else, forget about increasing capital instead of focusing on how to improve our performance first.
That's true, if you don't have much capital and you're not as rich as the other traders. Just start and try to grow that amount that you have in trading. It's the journey itself that you'll have the idea if it's worth it to add some more capital or not.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Save while young better than wait on: February 22, 2024, 11:20:36 PM
Asking for advice from old people (parents) is a good idea. They must know well about saving because they are already experiencing it. However, we also must learn saving from many sources, including from articles or books.
Because they've got more experience in life. I've done this before and it's a wise thing to do when you don't have a mentor. You'll get life lessons from them and they'd definitely going to guide you to have a better future as you grow older. Not only the parents but whomever you think is a successful person and are already old, they've got a lot to say and you'll figure it out if they want harm or not. But most of them just want to see someone younger become successful in life.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: February 22, 2024, 10:48:24 PM
The thread was made on 2021 and we're now on 2024. The same moments when it was made that it's during the bull run and this time, we're about to enter the bull run.
The clue is there, if you want to have a good portfolio and want to build it now, do it before you're left behind by this bull. If not yet decided, take your time quicker because many of the altcoins now have pumped a lot so as Bitcoin.
