Bet speeds back to expected. Unclear to me at this point if this was on my end or not. Thanks Stunna and Micro for your help.

Bets made using API keys were slow for some reason, this was fixed today. Not sure if that's how you were betting. Also bets in general should be much faster now.

Everything up to speed now, both API and web. Thanks.

We made some fixes other than speed today:

-Patched hotkeys to work properly when chat is open
-Win sound should now work for all users
-Removed spacing issue on copy pasting usernames/bets
-Password recovery captcha should now work properly.

There's a few minor front end things we will fix tomorrow. Will continue browsing for suggestions on this thread. One thing we are considering is having an option under settings that will allow you to turn off the "roll bar". Chat API documentation is being worked on as well.

chat offline again?  Huh
Yes, just blank on here. Can't chat. Maybe because stunna still fixing the bugs or another reason

Checking into this, not sure why this keeps happening today.

Chat is undergoing maintenance. Sorry for any inconvenience, all other site features should work. You can still connect to chat but it isn't instant for some reason which we're exploring (takes 30 sec initially).
787  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 ! | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 25, 2016, 03:53:45 AM
Also I apologize for my angry rant a page or two ago.  That's what frustration does to a man. Tongue

I would delete the post but it has already been copied in replies so oh well.  Thanks for addressing all the bugs.

Pretty much all the bugs mentioned are front end issues, our front end developer has been on a week long vacation which has made it difficult to get these resolved in a timely manner.
788  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 ! | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 25, 2016, 03:32:27 AM
@stunna stuff to improve, these things came from me and the users

-betting with 1sat incr 1% is not yet possible
-copying user names still have a leading space in front of the name
-faucet was altered so we got many complaints on that
-better ways to manage beggers
-make now and then a game for the users so they can get a little prize
-changing the seed gives with some people timouts
-when posting the bet:xx there is also a leading space in front of it
-a option for the chat to be more compact, like the compact/cozy option in gmail
-after refreshing the screen My bets are not correct, see example underneath
========================================================
12,174,925,810 TheFrog 21:19 0.00001859 7.07x > 85.99 87.08   0.00011286
12,174,925,369 TheFrog 21:19 0.00000000 7.07x > 85.99 8.43   -0.00000001
12,174,924,954 TheFrog 21:19 0.00000000 7.07x > 85.99 18.99 -0.00000001
=========================================================

Greetings, TheFrog

Thanks for the feedback Frog

I don't think we'll allow 1sat betting with an increase of 1% at this time but here's what we will do.

Quote
-copying user names still have a leading space in front of the name
This will be fixed soon, along with copying bets

Quote
-changing the seed gives with some people timouts
I think this might have to do with reaching a max # of requests from a VPN/endpoint, will explore increasing the limit.

Quote
-make now and then a game for the users so they can get a little prize
Can you elaborate on what you mean by this

Quote
-after refreshing the screen My bets are not correct, see example underneath
That's a weird front end issue we're working on fixing. If you look up the bet ID's they still give correct info.

Quote
-better ways to manage beggers
We could increase chat requirements

789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Limits number of faucet claims in a day on: July 24, 2016, 05:29:25 PM
I was surprised to find out today that Primedice has limited the number of faucet claims in a day. As I was waiting for my deposit to confirm, I decided to play using the faucet. I did one claim and when I ran out of the faucet balance, I did a second claim and bumped into this popup message 'you have reached the maximum number of claims for today' - http://myprintscreen.com/s/erzm/10ec28a6d7

So this means our accounts are now limited to one claim per day

Surprisingly, I have not seen anywhere where primedice has announced this change.

This was a bug for 5 minutes today. There is a limit of 50 claims per day however.

We made some changes under the hood today that significantly increased roll speeds. Also the API page is now live (available under the more dropdown menu).

Updates for tomorrow: fixed hotkeys, mobile changes.

Feel free to post any suggestions

The only reason you might want to make a 2FA confirmation on withdrawals is if you have malware that can control your inputs and withdraw while you're on Primedice, but if that's the case then surely it's your problem of being too reckless.

The same reason for everyone that being reckless that their login info is exposed to hacker. So far there is no confirmation yet of what kind of malware that infect all of these victims, they keep saying that their system antivirus or whatever doesnt detect anything wrong . One thing for sure

all the victim was logged in to primedice before their money got stolen which of course it could be a malware that could only controls your account while you are logging your own account

PS : this of course is my own thoughts about this issue and I have no evidence whatsoever

Every single case we've explored with this type of theft has been a very weak or re-used password. Bots and stuff stealing balances are common but usually people with decent amounts aren't running untrusted code. It's better to not have a password than to have a password that has your username in it plus a number

What's preventing you from having 2FA on withdrawal though? As an option atleast...

We'll consider adding that along with a few other measures, 99% of the people who complain on this forum never enabled 2fa in the first place though.

I had no 2FA setted, true.
My password it's everything but NOT weak. You can check it being the founder!

I'm not saying you're lying, but seeing EVRY company never say anything about leakeages until hackers post online the leaked documents/items, I'm still thinking is somehow primedice fault, even if it could not be.

You still not answering my doubt. Which is: said hacker should have compromised a lot of data to have some automation in place to be instantly notified of some unactive primedice account of a deposit and instantly (literally 1 min after deposit) withdraw it.
That's just not possible with 1 or few accounts hacked.

We can't check your password, that's exactly why even if we got hacked or our database leaked somehow your password would still be secure. If you did not have 2fa set and used a weak password or a password you used under that username elsewhere that could be the culprit.
795  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Primedice] Beware Guyz, Scamming HR!!!!!! on: July 15, 2016, 03:52:07 PM
so you tested your site with some stranger?

and i know fundice at pd his way of speaking not even close to kekeke i know fundice because i didnt believe him when he said he was on test server and i mocked him for days then when pd4 released i appologized to him

Stranger or not - that wasn't the problem, not the biggest problem anyway. It's the PD geniuses who used production seeds on the test server, if I'm reading this correctly. Luckily the perp wasn't smart enough to keep a low profile and drain it slowly. Dodged a serious bullet there Stunna.

I agree. This was certainly PD developers fault of leaving the beta site up. Fortunately for primedice the exploiter wasn't one of the brightest guys in the world. They should feel lucky that they only lost 40BTC.

We really do feel lucky. This would have been pretty undetectable.
796  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poll: Is PrimeDice the "Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game" on: July 15, 2016, 03:48:11 PM
PrimeDice is definitely the most popular dice site. But I don't know how people define "Trusted".

I have always seen trust as how many people trust a site with their Bitcoin.

I am very sure that https://betking.io holds on to more Bitcoin of player and investor funds than any other Bitcoin casino/dice site as we hold close to 5000 Bitcoin.

Now PrimeDice might have more than 5k Bitcoin but that is their own money and not players.

So BetKing is trusted by people to secure 5k Bitcoin so I believe that means it is the most trusted site, but it is not the most popular.

That's reasonable but to be fair, it's obvious to me that Primedice would have well over 10,000 bitcoins in investments if we offered investing. We've gotten individual offers from people wanting to invest 1000+ coins in the past which we declined.

Also as far as trust goes, we paid out an individual winner 2400 coins which is proof we would never manipulate rolls.

The fact that Primedice holds very little user funds and makes more significantly more than any site makes it by far the most trustworthy in my book. There's just no point of failure/scam.

I don't doubt at all that PrimeDice would have more invested than BetKing if it did open to investment.

For payouts, I did cash someone out over 1000 Bitcoin multiple times a day for a few days, when greystroke/starbuck were playing last year.

I think your point and mine show that both sites are the two most trusted Bitcoin gambling sites by far, we just both got to that status by different methods.

Still, as evident in these threads, some people will never be convinced Smiley

Agree with your points, people will always be skeptical of online gambling especially when it involves anonymous operators which is reasonable. However, I'm convinced that this gaming scene is far more trustworthy & transparent than any other one (real money, csgo, etc).
797  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 ! | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 15, 2016, 03:45:48 PM
Hey,

paizon217 i will address your questions here.

Issue with rolls showing 0.000000 is with how the session gets saved on your browser. We are working on fixing that asap. That is only a cosmetic issue though so you can look the bets up and see amount and all other info for it.
So that issue is not connected to your balance "disappearing" .

As for the unauthorized bet made on your account there are only 3 possible reasons for it:
1. Your account got compromised and the attacker made that bet.
2. You accidentally placed that bet.
3. You are trying to make it look like it.

Now i think its probably first of the three. I cant check login logs for your account so i will forward this to the developer and update you as soon as he checks it.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi, somehow you got it wrong, but thanks for forwarding.

I will re-iterate in chronological order(made up times but the time-length it's correct):

0:45 I send my 0.52 to my adress
1:00 0.52 is on my primedice account available for use.
1:00 I placed the bet. I won.
1:00 In half a second 0.5 gets withdrawn from my balance to some unknown adress.
1:01 I contact support, leaving the other 0.2 untouched to not complicate things more, believing it's a glitch and not someone hacking me.
1:05 I check my primedice account, 0.2 also withdrawn to some (other) unknown adress.
3:00 supports tell me my account may have been compromised. I reply 3 times in 6 days without response. completely ignored.

Even if this way not a glitch, but someone hacking me, that is 99.9% primedice's fault as my device is as clean as it could ever be. I listed what I do, plus I never left my personal adsl connection (no wi-fi) (in a rural area furthermore).

All companies get data leaked, just do a google search. JP morgan, Sony, Samsung, Twitter. Data says 90% of the companies with any worth get hacked.
So my opinion is primedice got somehow a partial leak 1+ year ago. As I never changed my password. Primedice could not admit it, just as many other companies until the data is shared online (aka empiric proof). I don't care, I just want my money back, if not the ones I won.

Plus I spent over 15.000 dollars on primedice, being called out "Trying to make it look like it" just for 350euros, it's not really nice.

No account has ever been compromised due to an issue on our side. If I had to guess you had a weak password and no 2FA set. I'm very sorry to hear that.

Yeah, certainly a mistake. Our developer also forgot that we store the next seed, we'll be changing how that works most likely. I'm curious to see if kekeke will duck his head back on this forum or not.
799  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Primedice] Beware Guyz, Scamming HR!!!!!! on: July 15, 2016, 03:10:31 PM
Just wait on stunna's explanation. He said the user exploited the site and would do his story later on.

This has gone too far.

During the development of PD4 we kept a testserver where we did our testing. A user named jlairy was assisting with the testing which you can see via his post history and profile. We finished testing and launched PD4 but the test server remained up. Without my knowledge our developers ran a test environment on this server shortly after launch which ran a fork of the DB.  Jlairy aka fundice aka kekeke aka kittikat figured this out and changed his seed on the test server which reflected his next seed on Primedice (PD was storing the next seed to save a request).

We came to this realization after briefly looking into him when he had turned 0.01 into 80 coins. I checked his depositing address which he sent the 0.01 from: https://blockchain.info/address/1BMmWpSq6N3swc5RYs7dSn2HewELKRdzv2 and found a blockchain note that said "Public Note: Withdraw to niti201012 from In India LIMITED" for a few transactions from a couple years ago.

Looking up Niti201012 resulted in finding this reddit thread: https://m.reddit.com/r/Primedice/comments/36cgna/happy_hour_starting_now/  . If you look at the comments you'll see the reddit account Niti201012 posting for one of our giveaways.

https://www.reddit.com/user/niti201012  Look at this account and view the first comment
"usr:fundice date:sep 7 2015 pd awesome while playing and fun still i dont earn nothing"

This was the eureka moment for me as kekeke who I had suspected of cheating was linked to "fundice" one of our testers . Immediately I talked to my developers and found out about the new irresponsible test environment on that same test server ip address which he had tested on at some point. When we looked at our test environment DB this is what we saw.

List of users registered on test environment:

Note Kekeke (the abusing account) on that list.

When comparing seeds on test environment versus primedice:

Note the 41c8 seed match between the test environment and the live website. This could have been worse than hufflepuff if Kittikat was not as sloppy as he was, fortunately he only managed to cashout 40 bitcoins before we figured this out. Edward was right to stop this cashout and demand information and his instinct was correct. I chose not to post any identifying information about fundice/kekeke/kittikat in this thread, we are pursuing legal action.

In summary kekeke revealed his seed on the test server, which allowed him to predict his next bets, allowing him to wager 0.01 into 80 btc. This threw up a red flag and when investigated we figured out how he had cheated us and put a stop to it. I'm honestly shocked he continued to post on this forum after we took down the test server and forced a seed reset the same day as his post. The test enviroment was a huge oversight on our side but I'm glad we were able to resolve this quickly, what fundice/kekeke did was still a major abuse of trust.

Here are where some of the funds ended up so far:
https://blockchain.info/address/18Z2y6T2t6g7Bbo4pLpmZ8Fbkcgpy98EYQ

https://blockchain.info/address/1FH7ZgWZpaxSZd29Tdra6rH9snSmwCAxe1

This thread should be closed.
