801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JASMY - worth investing? on: February 21, 2024, 05:12:15 PM
Been a while since I even thought about Jasmy and noticed today it has pumped 100% this last week.

Anyone holding at all? Current price is $0.01 and hoping it can reach at least $0.25 this bull run.
Since one year ago, it's near to 100% increase. But I am not impressed with its chart. Look at how deep the dip was and I don't think that there will be some recovery that will make it at ATH. With your price target, it's better if you'll decrease it a bit because you'll never know if that will be reached during the altcoins season. The high of it was during the launch time and note that it was also the bull run, so you think if it's going to be able to pass and be on that price.

Lets see what happens - I think it reaching $0.25 this bull run is possible but I will start taking profits @ $0.05.
That's possible but the most important part that you must do is to check about taking profits. No matter how high it can be back for this bull run if you don't have target prices then you're mostly wasting your time. And that's the reason why you should check it out upon doing so. So, if it's close to that target price of yours, sell. And as you observe, you have to wait until the right time comes if it's going to exceed on that part or not.
802  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 20, 2024, 11:36:52 PM
Increase in minimum wage can help in some certain extend but can't fight against inflation fully, when the price of goods keeps increasing weekly due to poor economy structure workers still can't cope even with an increase in wages.
Yes, it can help but that's the end of the help that you can get from the government and with your employer. After having an increase, that's all going to be your own battle and you need to fight against it on your methods that you know. Looking for side hustles and other ways to increase your income will help you deal with inflation. That's what will set as the reality that you have to come together along with the inflation and also with your expenses so as your cash flow.

804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think are the best crypto to invest in today before the halving? on: February 20, 2024, 10:45:56 PM
Which do you think are the best before the halving? Im a little lost with all coins there are....Thanks
Are, so you are asking for many altcoins. Honestly, everything can pump after Bitcoin's halving and that makes it one of the reasons why it's best to invest in Bitcoin because there's a sureness that it won't get any dump soon. But as part of many plans out there, many think that it's already too late to invest in Bitcoin because you just don't want to get ahead of it and you see some possible ideas that it's going to happen with altcoins that they might pump as much as they can.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas fee on: February 20, 2024, 10:15:57 PM
It simply means demand. Despite that there has been scalability issues ever since with Ethereum, it's still being liked by its major community. You see that despite that there have been some other chains that are supporting the other altcoins, there's still a huge demand for it.
Because if there is none to little, it only means that the fees will come down. It's been so long since I've transacted with Ethereum or with an ERC20 token because I am dismayed with the fees so if there's an alternative network, I choose that.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opinions on the Pi network on: February 20, 2024, 09:45:51 PM
Stop your interest in this coin. All were promises but never been delivered. But it's all on you guys, it's your time that you're wasting. Yes, you may not spend any amount on this coin.

Why would one project take such a long time to be rolled out? Users have done KYC as well. People have given up on this project after waiting for such a long time and I am on of them.
It's because that they are not legit. They have collected KYC and identities of people in return of their promises but then, the people that have complied for it gets nothing and still hopes that someday that they'll be rewarded by this project.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin suspension on: February 20, 2024, 09:19:24 PM
What happens when a coin is suspended? How long does it take for binance to release from suspension?
So as said by the people above, there won't be any activities anymore for those coins that have been suspended by Binance or any exchange. Do you see any coin that has been suspended and you have been holding that coin on Binance?

Especially from conversion.
AFAIK, you can't even convert the small amounts into BNB if it is suspended. And that's why if it's allowed to withdraw, you gotta withdraw that and sell it somewhere else or with another exchange.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Blockchain Gaming on: February 20, 2024, 08:49:52 PM
You know, I remember that during the craze of NFT games. You'd see games that have bad graphics but at first has been in demand because of the rewards they give to their player investors. That's the thing for them during that time and the quality was terrible and I don't know if those type of games are still existing nowadays or they've probably already sinked together with the bear market after that craze.
I think we can't even call those things games. They were just static, dumb point and click websites worse than browser games from the beginning of 2000's. These websites you mentioned were developed by scammers who never had legit intentions of creating real games, since those platforms worked on the same concept of Ponzi schemes, where early investors were able to make huge profit in short time intervails, but the ones coming late just lost money, and the demand for the site went to zero right after.

But thinking about old 2000's browser games, I think it could be an idea blockchain gaming developers to try introducing again on the internet. Maybe real time city building games such as Travian, Tribal Wars, Ikariam, Grepolis could work nicely giving players the chance of earning money from it, while also investing money on it to grow their cities and empires through a cryptocurrency. In fact, developers don't even need to create a native token. If they just adopted Bitcoin, it would be great already.
Well, they try to make it as a game because you can click, move, etc. And you're right that they're just making it as if a game but the system for their reward is like a ponzi scheme. These developers are clever but good thing when the bear market has arrived, many of them have been stopped and didn't do well anymore. By that means, most of them have probably sold already their tokens and left the players so sad with a lot of losses having that faith with their development.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in altcoin futures a good idea? on: February 20, 2024, 08:20:11 PM
Hi guys, do you think investing in altcoin futures is a good idea?
As long as you know what it is and you've made your DYOR.

Which altcoins do you think are best for this? I appreciate all the help Smiley
Ethereum is the top choice if it's with the altcoins. But you know that people think that it's more profitable to get into altcoins and that's how they do it. So, if you're looking for any altcoins you want to invest, invest also in time in researching so that you're going to have an idea if it's a good investment or not.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you made from airdrops this year, got PIXEL? on: February 20, 2024, 01:47:46 PM
I have received pixel on my binance account but it's not a lot but still a free money that we all love to have. I've seen people that have staked ron on the pixel game. But since I don't have any interest anymore with these games, those who took risk there got more.
Actually, no risk for the stakers as they can take it back anytime I think or correct me if I'm wrong. I've seen people who have received pixel tokens like around $2,000 and more.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price of Bitcoin and Ethereum on: February 20, 2024, 12:16:19 PM
So does the price of Ethereum really go up when the price of Bitcoin goes up?
Yes. And ETH is @ $2900+ already.

And does Bitcoin's bull market actually coincide with Ethereum's bull market? What is your opinion on this matter? And correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes.
ETH do get next and the altcoins goes next to after Bitcoin or it can be opposite. Bitcoin bull run first and then ETH and alts next or the opposite. But one thing is that, Bitcoin starts all of these bull runs. And that's what people have to remember if you want to get some nice profits for this bull run and still thinking what to buy.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Receiving a smart contract to my wallet on: February 20, 2024, 02:10:45 AM
I gave a guy my eth address in order to receive a payment , he told me I will have to get a contract call in order to receive the payment...as if payment will be sent as a contract call

I am using Trust wallet

What that contract call means?
I don't get it, I haven't heard anything about this contract call if you just want to receive a token or ETH from your address. What you did is the right one of handing over your ETH address and just wait for that person to pay or send you with what you should receive.
There's no need for anything like this if you're just there to receive. I'd avoid anything that I am not familiar with and tell that person that there's no need for any contract call if you will have to receive payment, it's simple as that.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Do I need to diversify? on: February 19, 2024, 11:53:54 PM
No idea when it is going to pump but if you want to diversify, you haven't mentioned Bitcoin and that's what you have to do. Add it to your portfolio and buy some Bitcoin. If you can't afford to buy it on a one big blow, buy it through DCA method so that it won't be tough for you as accumulate more of it. You have to diversify because you don't have Bitcoin and the market is solely reliant on it when we're in the bear and bull run so whatever is the situation of the market, Bitcoin are being followed by the altcoins.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 19, 2024, 11:26:13 PM
So, should we also expect altcoin season following the current bull run? If yes, what are the best altcoins to focus on?
Yes, it is how it is going to be.
What altcoins you must invest? I don't know what you can afford right now but you see that ETH is trying to break and back on $3k and that's a good thought that it might be breaking the past ATH that it has got and maybe more than $4k will be achieved for the altcoin season.
Whatever you have in mind, DYOR before you invest.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where did u put your Money ? on: February 19, 2024, 09:20:11 PM
I basically stick to idea buy low priced coins like 0.00001$ that have good potencial
so when coins get to 0.01$ its a very good profit of %

For my self i have 60% of assets on BTC
But i wonder on which coin you have more % invested ?
I am sticking to the top ones. I have those type of coins that you are buying based on the description but I don't hold a lot of them. There is just so many of them to choose from if that's the type of coins you're trying to get on that might change your life.
But the longer this market is existing, the fewer these projects are going to make someone profitable. So, if you're holding 60% of your assets in BTC then that's making you free to do whatever you want and wherever you want to go.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Blockchain Gaming on: February 19, 2024, 08:39:49 PM
Yeah, we're on the same page with that. We both enjoy games that don't have monetary rewards but if there are games that are seem to be really interesting and profitable then we're going to be there as well. The genre of games never gets old to me that I truly like but if the gameplay sucks, I stop playing them.
Yes it must be so, maybe all gamers especially online prioritize the quality of the gameplay, the most important thing for me is to feel satisfied with their offerings to me as a player.

But i haven't found a good blockchain-based game yet, have you ever found a good game from it?
Before but it was a bad experience and I don't think that I'll be looking for one atm.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Blockchain Gaming on: February 19, 2024, 07:45:46 PM
Yes, i mean like that, the in-game design is like you said, but for the marketing design, they will definitely put more effort to make potential investors interested in joining them.
That's true and we both agree with that.

That is fine, I am done with them and I've went back to the traditional games that I just enjoy even having no rewards or tokens on the side.
Well if we're talking like that I guess we agree, i also enjoy games that don't have prizes but are interesting to enjoy like challenging meta games.

818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: February 19, 2024, 07:07:58 PM
Many like to show what they are not.  And common people like to believe it without verifying it.  If someone claims to be a successful trader, then there is nothing we can do. We should check before trusting someone. And successful traders who are less inclined to introduce themselves.  Trading is not possible for everyone.  Trading requires proper skills.
There is nothing we can do but the reality will sink in to them that they are not real traders and they're not really profitable at all. There's a lot of deception happening especially in social media when an influencer is trying to be famous with their own ways through trading.
They make a lot of contents on how profitable they are and in reality, what makes them stay here is that their social media following and presence and just trying to be relevant but not really showing good results.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pepe coin. on: February 19, 2024, 12:17:12 AM
Mark Zuckerberg has nothing to do with pepe coin just as it has been explained by others in this thread.
That's just his assumption and I doubt it that Mark will ever get into these meme coins saga. He's into more serious business than playing around dumb with these meme coins. But maybe if he gets in there, there's a likely that people will flock and follow him around like anything he says or posts on his Facebook account, it gets the respect that he's returning the favor and value to the people. The community likes it that way when a known CEO tweets about shit and stuff of cryptos.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Blockchain Gaming on: February 18, 2024, 09:45:57 PM
Typically, the blockchain gaming has been there I think since the ICO days but didn't got that much attention until 2021 bull run came. I think most of them were done because many of those have been designed poorly and mainly focused on its economy and money making. If games soon are going to rise like these RPGs, first person shooter games like COD, world war battles, this genre is widely known and liked by many gamers. But even with that, I just think that having the title for this gaming to rise, it's done long time ago.
It is certain that the name of the game design has been done for a long time and they prepare a strategy so that the game sells well in the market, with various ways definitely done
You don't understand what I said there, many of them have been poorly designed and when the craze of these NFT games or P2E games there have been a lot of devs that just developed what they have to develop in the sense so that they can cope up with the demand and try their luck to get as much investors as they can while waiting for the bull run to end during that time.

for me I am not so interested in it even though they provide prizes for those who participate.
That is fine, I am done with them and I've went back to the traditional games that I just enjoy even having no rewards or tokens on the side.
