We know one of the major way to caught the attention of the people is giving free money I've been victim of this before like phishing, because of getting overlooked those links.
After clicking that link could be possible a malware could enter once you execute the action better to take a look with your computer and check if there's nothing injected in your device.
That's the thing that we have to avoid. Scammers use this tactic as everyone (probably) got tempted when seeing it. This is why scammers win despite the crusade that we do against them and they still exist because people haven't learned yet. Very unfortunate and it happens that we need to lose and get scammed before we realized how this is going on. These days, online activities are too risky and much in dealing with someone that we never know especially when talking about money as scams are really possible and all of us can be their target.

802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 14, 2023, 08:09:38 AM
The thing with Casimero is not he is not backing down to any challenge. Although right now he seems to be on the way to maybe a crack on a belt in any organization at the super bantamweight, any of those current champions right now. But we love to see him and Inoue getting into the ring, at least for the belt so that we can see how good Inoue is.
He doesn't know how to back down but all he needs is an opportunity to fight for the championship. However, since boxing is a business, it won't be easy for him to achieve that. Inoue is focused on winning the championship in this fight, so it might be tough for Casimero. Inoue may not agree to arrange a fight with him, especially if the rumors are true that he is avoiding Casimero, who has the potential to jeopardize his career.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 14, 2023, 05:35:33 AM
I also quite like KCP because the way he plays, in my opinion, often gives unexpected surprises that makes opposing players a little confused about taking action.

KCP is a good role player because he has matured and has a strong desire to win games. He also knows how to play defense, making his minutes on the floor highly productive, even if he struggles with his shooting at times. The Nuggets were fortunate to have him. If the Lakers had not traded him, he might have been able to contribute to their campaign last season.
Yes, that's why KCP is very valuable for the Nuggets and he is quite dominating in every game.
This is a good step to be able to make the Nuggets become champions again for next season.

It looks like the Lakers had a bit of a let down having traded him and he's proven to be a player every team he plays for can count on.
If the Nuggets also trade KCP it's possible the Lakers will buy it again but that looks unlikely until next time.

The Nuggets will likely be the favorite to win the championship next season, but I believe other teams will also improve due to the upcoming trades. You know what I'm saying. At least the new season will be more competitive since the team that won the championship this year is not a super team, unlike in the past when the Warriors and the Cavaliers won their respective championships.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: June 13, 2023, 09:54:30 PM
Oh well this is just another one of those big FUD days you know? Good time to short and buy low when you are doing DCA with BTC or ETH.

Let them be. Maybe we’re still in a big storm but it will come to pass. If the US are so strict regarding crypto, then Asia is wide open and the US SEC has nothing to do about it nor having the jurisdiction to stop these companies from operating elsewhere.

Or maybe the US SEC boys out there are just doing it on purpose to manipulate the market and buy when the everything calms down. Hmmmm……
The crusade against crypto is really happening by regulators, and that is spreading a lot of fear, doubt and uncertainty among investors. But as you said, it's just another opportunity to buy cheap BTC and I still hope prices crash more yet before they start rising again in crypto market.

Who knows if it's the last opportunity we have before the big bullish run which may start next. When there are several attempts to crash prices and spread negativity about cryptocurrencies in short time-frames, I smell something good is about to happen, because where some see a crisis, speculators see profit opportunities... It has been like this since the beginning in this industry.
We are not sure yet but can't neglect such speculation knowing that manipulators will find their way to take advantage of the situation as when FUDs and Uncertainly spread it drives the market trend to decline and then buy more Bitcoin. And I believe in such possibilities because that is what we experience in the past market correction before the bull season comes and it is possible to happen again. And this market drama seems getting wild and more of these things to hear for sure once the bull season is coming.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 13, 2023, 09:35:41 PM
However, meme coins like Shiba Inu, Doge coin, Pepe shows that meme coins can still come to lime light in the crypto space when they gain massive support. Also, in recent times, some meme coins are built to perform as utility coins/tokens making them grow in value without hype. IMO, meme coins / tokens when backed with strong community as well as meme tokens/coins built to perform as utility token, have the potential to grow, and therefore, have a future.
It all just happen because of the hyped but guess what, these supporters/buyers will upload their meme coins. They are just for short-term investment and never we can expect a project that has no use case will able to survive long-term. Well, of course, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are somewhat different from other meme coins as they already have some purpose which is why they still got their position now. Maybe they will still exist 10 years from now but I couldn't expect they still got such popularity as these days.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 13, 2023, 12:04:34 PM
Yes, it seems that this is destiny for the Nuggets team to win for this year.

I also go with the -6.5 win by the Nuggets and I thought that they can cover this spread or could win in double digits. But the Heat tries to hang on, specially in the 4th which is very close if not for the last minute or 2 wherein you see that the Nuggets wanted it more than the Heat.

So congrats to the Nuggets team winning the NBA championship for this year.

Sorry mate, it turns out a close game but the Nuggets won the game, it's just unfortunate that they were not able to cover the spread. If I'm not mistaken the spread was like -8 but you lowered it and still failed. That was the last game of the NBA Finals, no more games tomorrow and we have to wait for a while, so it's time to relax on betting now.  Smiley
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 13, 2023, 10:48:16 AM
I like how Gordon, Porter Jr, KCP and Brown contributes not only to their offense but also the defense..

That's the kind of huge improvement we've seen from the Nuggets. It's their defense that really gave them the win. However, without Murray, this would not have been possible, as Jokic alone could not carry the team, especially when most of his teammates are inconsistent. Murray is a legitimate scorer; he can score even under high pressure. This made Jokic's job easier, and they also have the advantage of facing a team with many undrafted players, giving them a significant edge.
808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: June 12, 2023, 09:55:46 PM
...

What about you, what is your preference, and why?
Well, having more strategies serves as an option that we use in a particular market situation because honestly, not all strategies work in all situations, it varies as well. Pertaining to such scenarios, at least we have another option that we think it was more applicable. Having 2-3 strategies are enough for me and besides, it was not just the strategies, it also needs trading tools. After all, it all depends on how comfortable we are, and as a trader, we know what seems to be a more effective and profitable strategy, we can stick to it if possible.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The US just banned altcoin trading. on: June 12, 2023, 09:38:59 PM
The US ban on altcoin trading can have implications for the cryptocurrency market. While it may create uncertainty, the future of cryptocurrency is influenced by various factors. The industry has faced regulatory challenges before and has the potential to adapt and evolve. Long-term prospects depend on institutional adoption, technological advancements, and regulatory developments. Monitoring the situation and considering the broader context is important. The cryptocurrency industry has the potential to continue growing and transforming sectors of the economy.
But you got it wrong mate as the SEC doesn't stop crypto trading, only some coins that are not registered on them. And this won't affect the entire crypto market and this means that the SEC is trying to help the crypto space by stopping scam projects.

But with the issue of SEC and Binance Exchanges, it is another story. It gives some BNB price drops and also has an impact on the market but still, this is not the basis that the crypto market is dying. It can be solved soon and I know that as Binance don't just let it happen but to protect their business.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which League Makes Sports Betting Easy to Win? on: June 09, 2023, 01:34:06 PM
I don't think there's any specific league that would guarantee easy wins in sports betting. Bookmakers are not foolish; they will not set odds or spreads that do not favor them. What I do know is that if you want to succeed in sports betting, you need to be consistent in predicting the correct outcomes. Additionally, it is crucial to know how to manage your bankroll effectively, as this is a long-term journey that requires patience.

On the other hand, is it time to bring back Tyler Herro?
That's a big question now, and it's likely the big surprise the Heat could provide if they bring back Tyler Herro. However, the question still remains: is he 100% healthy and capable of contributing his usual numbers before the injury? If he returns but struggles to make an adjustment, he may become a burden for the team, and it's more likely that the Heat will lose again.
I'm sure Coach Spoelstra will not allow him to become a burden to the team. If he does return, it doesn't necessarily mean he will stay longer if he is not delivering as expected. I would even be surprised if he gains plenty of minutes like he used to. It's the chemistry that matters now, and inserting Herro into the lineup is always a big risk. But, you know, as long as they know how to manage that risk, it's going to work.

I absolutely agree. At this moment it is all about risk versus reward. All they have to think about is that is it actually worth taking the risk. It is a big risk, to be honest. They will risk the team not having good chemistry. At least not at the best of what they can do. Herro is a good player. The thing is whatever they do they will have to decide fast. Because otherwise an already behind and the final will slip away from them. I also think that he should be playing, but if he is not doing good, then he should be taken off.

Stop speculating about his return as it was already reported that he's been ruled out in game 4.

Tyler Herro (hand) ruled out for Game 4

So it's the same lineup that played in Game 3. The Heat just need to make a big adjustment in how they play to have a chance for a win. There's a reason why they are just a slight underdog. If people really thought they would be dominated again, the spread would not be +3.5 only; it should be higher than that. But regardless, this is the NBA Finals, and every game is very important, especially for the team that is behind in the series.
812  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone still stores their crypto in any exchange on: June 09, 2023, 09:22:17 AM
Does anyone here still stores their crypto in exchanges?
Yes... There are persons that still store their crypto assets on exchanges and the reason could be that they're newbies and are ignorant of the fact exchanges are not the most effective way of storing crypto assets. Also, there are another set of persons that are not new to crypto but their business requires them to have a good amount of crypto assets on exchanges, I'm talking about the crypto traders. If peradventure the exchange crashes, their funds will be gone as well. The most effective method of storing crypto assets still remain using non custodial hardware wallets such as Trezor, ledger, ellipal, safepal etc.

Well, traders know what will be the consequences of storing a huge sum of money there but yes, they preferred to do that as it was necessary. But if the purpose is to just hold there, that was not a good idea and it was not recommended to all of us. "Not Your Keys, Not Your Coin" and we don't have to miss this thing otherwise, we let things get compromised. Because whatever happens to the exchanges, we can't assure to get back our money from them and what we just heard from them is a sort of promise yet they will never do it.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: June 08, 2023, 12:21:27 PM

Keep in mind I never learn about chart, candlestick, trend etc, all of my decision come from my mood and instinct. No stop limit, no follow any signal, no watching my PC for 24/7 etc, just directly buy and sell.

Nah, I've tried doing this but guess what, I ended up losing my $100 too fast than I can imagine. I realized that trading doesn't simply just work without these trading tools (chart, candle stick, analysis, etc). Though using our instinct is seem to help but not that we just rely on it because the result is too different compared to having those tools I've mentioned. No way we can survive trading and not gain success if we don't use them as it was been created to have positive trading results more than the usual thing we do.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be Taught About Bitcoin on: June 08, 2023, 11:57:26 AM
there should be no difference between women and men in this case, anyone can learn and know bitcoin, because bitcoin belongs to everyone
indeed in the community mostly men dominate but behind the scenes there are many women who are involved in it
The opportunities offered in the crypto world are varied so everyone can enter
We all have fair opportunities in crypto but men usually make decisions more than women which is why we often see more investors are men. But of course, it was important also to let them know what is all about.

Learning about Bitcoin is not solely in the purpose to encourage them to invest but also to help them understand how it works and what it uses for. Because it was better to have a good understanding of Bitcoin and whether you are a male or female, we deserve to be taught and learn what is new in the community.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 08, 2023, 10:49:01 AM
What I'm trying to convey is that if Inoue can easily dominate Fulton, it suggests that he could potentially dominate the entire division without much difficulty.

We will find out if Inoue can truly dominate Fulton. It appears that Fulton is not afraid, as he has chosen to fight Inoue instead of moving up in weight class. I believe this will be an exciting fight, with some doubts about Inoue's power in the new division. It will be Inoue's responsibility to prove that he is still the same formidable fighter, and perhaps even better, in this new weight class.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 08, 2023, 03:37:32 AM
Game 4 will be 2 days from now. Will the Heat bounce back, or the Nuggets will continue their road win streak, and steal one again on the road.

The Nuggets made good adjustments in the game, utilizing their size advantage as they continue to struggle with their 3-point shooting. With a significant rebounding disparity, the Heat couldn't win the game if they were also struggling with their outside shots. We can expect the Miami Heat to make adjustments in Game 4 and strive to even the series once again. It was a great game by the Nuggets, and they deserved that big win without any excuses.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Are crypto faucets genuine and worth it? on: June 07, 2023, 09:24:46 PM
You'll be asking OP if it was worth it. I would say NO, it is a waste of time and many times I'm doing this, well, I get some but if you are considering your time as precious, you'll never see it was worth enough to spend with. Honestly, it will lose your bright day thinking of it and waiting for nothing. It is very simple, if you use your time wisely, better spend it learning to trade rather than finding faucets and joining airdrop in order to earn free coins. Don't get fool with that promises and convincing words as it was just on the paper, not the real thing to happen.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if they tried it on: June 07, 2023, 08:52:29 PM
What if the governments across the world attempted to seize all of your crypto assets like the US seized all gold from their citizens in the 1900s. Now I'm seeing articles talking about how the US government is trying to be able claim private property.

I think that ultimately this would be very challenging for any government to successfully accomplish. This would cause a revolutionary period again in our world I imagine....
Can you just stop imagining for once and come back to reality?🤣

Well firstly bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset and as such , no singular person has control over it and along as you don't give access to your possessions to anyone else, then you're truly in control of all the shits in there.

I don't see how possible  the government can seize the bitcoin possessions  of its citizens not in this century  man, we're in 21st century 🙄
They would dare and the worst they can do is impose some silly restrictions which they did and never worked for them and now I think they are secretly buying bitcoin to boast its economy and some countries  are already adopting  it nation wide.
Well, I say it was possible but very small chance to happen ( below 0.1%). That is why people never think that and ignore it (unlike OP) as we are confident that the government will even support the innovation rather than killing it. Because the reality that the government had also looking for a big change and great innovation that helps improve everyone's life and seeing crypto would be an opportunity. Only a foolish country will never do the adoption.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 07, 2023, 01:37:13 PM
I'm not sure what you meant by not everyone is happy for the Fulton vs Inoue fight. It's a great fight and maybe one of the most anticipated fight in the super bantamweight as Inoue is going up in weight and wanted to become a champion again. While Fulton wanted to stay his ground and proved that he is the king of this division.

He meant that the winner of the Fulton vs Inoue fight will be mandated to fight Tapales. There's no question that Fulton vs Inoue is a big fight, but this division is not a money-sucker yet. So, I'm sure if Inoue dominates this division, he will likely move up again.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 07, 2023, 12:42:22 PM
Also, they should let Tyler Herro play in game 3. I mean, he has been a good piece of the Heat franchise, I don't think he'll mess up with the Heat's momentum. If Herro is playing, the Nuggets will also have to adjust their game as he is an offensive threat.

Sure, a healthy Herro has good offensive skills, and the Heat clearly needs him, although we shouldn't expect him to be able to score 20-30 points in his first game back from injury. Moreover, it's worth noting that there's still no exact date for his return. As far as I know, Herro will definitely miss Game 3 as he still hasn't been cleared by the Heat's medical staff.

Herro does not want to disrupt the chemistry that the Heat have already built, so he himself is also doubtful about whether he will play despite being capable of doing so. It still depends on the outcome of tomorrow's game. If the Heat were to win, it would prove that they don't need Herro to secure a victory. Besides, the Heat already have a lot of shooters, and Robinson has been exceptional thus far.
