Cavs are tired, Raps should blow them out tonight.

Its not gonna work like that. Maybe they're tired but that game was setting the whole team in a momentum, when you just came out from a fresh win there's no way you're gonna be blowed out.
Tough win from Cavs and that monentum will continue. Once the Cavs win on game 2, it could lead to potential sweep.
Remeber the Raptors didnt win a chip against Lebron in the playoffs. But yeah, this year's different. Lets just see what the outcome would be.

Did you see how DeRozan and Lowry played in the 2nd half? It is like something is drumming their heart and they cannot shoot the ball anymore or even tried too. This two got a lot of coffee in their nervous system which needs to be taken out.

Lebron saw that and the whole Cavs team and took the chance to win the game. They did.
Raptors will need to change the gameplay and try to pass the ball more often and look for better positions to free up some space. When they are in offense, it looks like the arena gets smaller. They are crowding the paint too much unlike the Cavs did, that is why it is raining with three's.

I have noticed that too. As if they are really trying so hard to win the game for themselves that's why they made a lot of mistakes and once they are double team, specially DeRozan, he will immediately pass the ball and that they already lost precious seconds which added more pressure to them to make the shot, which unfortunately didn't fall that's why Lebron and the Cavs escape with a win in their first game. I do hope that they will perform and at get the second game before going to the Cavs home turf and then steal 1 game them to bring back their home court advantage.
8082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Tactic For The Upcoming Btc Crash on: May 02, 2018, 08:40:40 PM
We have been waiting a long time for this, everyone is curious to what exactly is going to happen. How much are we going down, where will we find support. What will be the outcome of this.

Your impending doom prediction didn't occur, although we have been bearish for the last 3 months or so, falling to as low as $6500, its seems that the market has somewhat recovered.

My 2 questions to you guys is:
- Do you have any tactic going into the crash, we might get one once the future trading starts.

For example: Going into 1 or 2 altcoins that might be good hedges against the BTC.

Last question:
- What will happen to alts?

For example: When BTC was skyrocketing towards $19k most alts were red, what do you think will happen to alts if the opposite happens? Will we see some green or red only?

Strategy for a crash if indeed it will happen is to just hold on your coin. Yes, I would agree that going to alt is a good option but the question is what alts are you going to hedge bitcoin? I don't have the exact answer for that. You have to do your own research. Again, the doom day scenario didn't occurs takes to the people who went back to the market and really believed that crypto has a lot of leg room and a good long term investment.
8083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: May 02, 2018, 07:33:08 PM
I have no experience in this matter and I think gambling is not related to the relationship and it's only about the games. and if we play the games with our friends, we need to tell them that what we have to get in the end will not disturb our friendship and it's only to have some fun with them. I guess if we can explain to them that we are playing gambling is to get fun in the games and not chase the money, I think they will understand.

Gambling and relationship is very important, just thinking ourselves and not thinking about other people that we love might affect our relationship to them. Look, if you are paying too much attention in gambling, and only spending your little time that you have to your family, you might come to a point where you are completely into gambling, the feelings of your love ones is not important to you anymore because of your addiction.

It must be 80:20, 80% time for you family, and just 20% time for playing gambling.

I really don't know if you can specifically divide your time like that when you are in gambling. Well, I know that is doable, because I'm doing it, but I don't know if I have that kind of percentage. I just play with every bills every month is settled or if I have save enough for rainy days. But If ever I won, it just a bonus for me.

I have been in worst situation, but I still have my family as my priority and even if I gamble up to this day, our relationship is still solid and the only problem we had before is when I suddenly lost my job. But its all good now and I can still play and gamble and have my family at my side.

You've shared a nice experience here on how to gamble responsibly and congrats on getting a job back! I too think that gambling will not necessarily ruin a relationship. You can even play sometimes together with your spouse making your relationship stronger. But for those who feel that gambling can be a problem for their relationship it's better to restrain from it until they can see how it can make a positive impact.

Thank you mate, yes I was able to get a job back and our relationship has been stronger than ever. We always play together, (well 90% of the time), and we only play money that we can afford to lose. And I would agree that for those who partner doesn't want you to gamble anymore then you really need to stop or control yourself because it can really ruin your relationship and even break marriage. Its your choice.
8084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: May 01, 2018, 11:59:17 PM
I think gamblers have very weird mindset, they always think they are making the right decision, they are losing a lot of money and they are going for more, always thinking they can win, if they win, again they think they can win more, and they end up losing everything .

Of course you have to be motivate yourself when you are playing gambling so that you will not attract negative things while you are playing gambling, the only wrong with their mindsets is that they are still encouraging themselves to gamble for more even though they are losing because they believe that they are going to win in the next round, but the thing that they are missing out is that gambling is not easy as they thought.

On the contrary, I have experience multiple trips in a casino were I was not really that motivated to gamble. But my friends keeps insisting that we go to and play. So I just go along with them, But so my surprised, I was very lucky because even the small money that I will bet bring instant profit to me.

So I don't know if you really need to motivate yourself because I have seen that its not the main factor that will bring you money. Its pure luck. And this happened to me several times as well. There are days that I'm motivated and very optimistic that I'm going to win, however, I ended up on the losing side.
8085  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-01] Japanese Regulator Confirms 8 Crypto Exchanges Want Out,100 Want In on: May 01, 2018, 11:35:17 PM
Do anyone here have any idea what's inside the revised FSA regulations though? I asked because I like to find out what's the reason behind those 7 who suddenly backs down and withdraw their intentions? Is there some kind of provision that will really hurt them in terms of profitability? Everyone want's to get on board but I can't fathom why did suddenly decided to quit and withdraw their application since crypto is blossoming in their country. I also speculate that those withdrawing doesn't have sufficient funds to cover all the investors money in case of a hack, in my opinion.
8086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 01, 2018, 10:53:25 PM
Respect to Oladipo, he has played very well in that series.
What I see on social media is many memes about Oladipo.

I think the cavaliers will not get pass the round 2, Toronto is a much improve team now and the have offense inside an out as well.
It's early to speculate until we see the series ends. I know Toronto is strong but let's don't forget on how many titles Lebron went through and Cavs as well.

I'm not a fan of him.
Lebron James is so experienced when it comes to do or die games and i think it really helps him in the series between the Indiana Pacers. Going into the series with Toronto Raptors, i think the latter should disposed the burnt James and the rest of the Cavaliers as early as possible because if it will go down the wire, it would favor the Cavs.
His experiences taught him a lot of lessons and he'll apply it for the upcoming game tomorrow with Toronto Raptors. The feeling is intense and many are already speculating that Raptors will get the first game confidence and will win the first match while the LJ fans won't let themselves lose.
Can't wait for the game tomorrow, will stop working just to watch the first game of Raptors vs Cavs.

Having that said Lebron would definitely ignite the spirit of Cavs, this series. Raptors are a team to beat to be honest but let's see how will Lebron keep the cavs on track. Derozan, Ibaka and Lowry would surely be a hindrance for them and for sure they won't let this opportunity passed by again. But, as I see it Raptors has an edge in this series due to their deep lineup and a much favorable chemistry. Who knows Lebron still might have a lot of surprises under his sleeves.
What we would expect from Lebron? There would be either a good play or just an another lame situation but in most cases we do see on how James do perform when hes already on the court. There would be always unexpected scenarios to happen but on this game this would really be a good one.

Cavs are tired, Raps should blow them out tonight.
On what thing the Cavs team is already tired? Im not being biased but this would be a good game.
Lebron has played a total of 288 minutes in that series. So he is gassed and if they are down in the first quarter they will sit him for the second and get wreaked.
He is shooting 54% while all the other players on his team are shooting 34% combined!
This means without him on the floor they will be losing those games. And unfortunately the Cavaliers know this with having him on the court as much as they can afford to get him out there.
No doubt on that Lebron is always been the play maker and which motivates the entire team on playing at their best but in the case if hes out of the court then its one of the factor which performance is mainly affected.I know and we know that they do already prepared on that scenario, they would need to sacrifice on some of their minutes just to make a rest and thats really a gamble.

James have been in this kind of situation before. He maybe tired but we know how he phased himself, great players have this kind of ability to have some reserved and then will just explode if they know they needed to step up. That's why Lebron was not injury prone, he knows the time when to take over and when to step back and just make his team mates looks better. Maybe the right word is that they are "smart". And for all we know, this game also involves mental toughness and not just physical.

Today's market is showing signs of positive and positive than yesterday when prices bitcoin is constantly recovering and now has recovered to $ 9100 level. According to my analysis, the bitcoin price will recover to $ 9800 today and you can buy bitcoin at this time to trade. Make specific plans to minimize and delineate the risks.

At least we didn't get much lower as compare to its previous dip. So I can say that the market is slowly recovering and we might see this reversal from being bearish to bullish market now. But there's a lot of cash needed to even push the price above $9K.

Yes, the next mental barrier is around $9700 and we have attempted to break it, however, the wall seems to high for now that's why we goes to another correction. Hopefully, this week we may attempt to go and break it and then $10K is next. Let's see how it goes, its just the start of the week and a lot of things can happen.
8088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is rare on: May 01, 2018, 09:58:24 PM
The reason the price is increasing is complex because it's a global market. Broadly, there is a new found enthusiasm for this thing that's been in a rut for months. Read the headlines on Coindesk and you'll start to get the pulse for the market.

Bitcoin is slowly gaining popularity that's why the price keeps increasing year-to-year. There's always interest on it, even though its been in a rut for months. And you don't need to go to Coindesk or any other crypto media outlet, just look at the price and you will see that's is gaining grounds again (although the we have a price correction.)

if all bitcoins were mined it will be considered totally rare because the supply will end but the people who demand on it will continuously increase and as time passes by, the price of bitcoin may become unimaginably expensive. But I don't believe that is the only road where bitcoin goes because if we remember there are also some other factors that could affect the price of bitcoin. What I really want for bitcoin is to become stable though.

I think scarce, is the appropriate word. However, I'm sorry to burst the bubble to you that bitcoin will not be stable because the market is base on speculation. So the price will keep fluctuating whether you like it or not.
8089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any groups for full time crypto traders? on: April 30, 2018, 07:07:08 PM
I was wondering if any of you knows about any groups of full time traders that are opened for new members? Maybe collaborative trading groups, or just society of dedicated people who talk about strategy. I don't mind if they ask you to verify your net worth, as I find this understandable.

I doubt that you will find traders or group of traders willing to share their secret or like a collaborative efforts. There are paid (pump-and-dump) groups but I cannot tell you how effective there are. Some of them are offering paid and premium memberships but the question remains, could they really help you or are they just gonna drain you at the end?

Its better if you are going to start your journey in trading at your own pace. Of course there are up and down, along the way, but for sure you will really learn a lot from your past mistakes making you a successful trader in the future.
8090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: The Seven Deadly Sins on: April 30, 2018, 06:47:37 PM
Gambling is not all about sinning. It depends on the person on how they treat it. For me, it's an entertainment where winning is just a bonus. You just test on how lucky you are or you just want to kill time.

There are other forms of entertainment without involving money. Killing time?  That's the lamest excuses if you are going to gamble. In my view, the argument of gambling is a sin as per religion can be trace back in the Bible. However, as a human being we still have a choice to make, and even it is against your religion, if you see no problem gambling then I don't consider it committing a sin.

It's up to us, we know what's the effect of gambling, but if you still chooses to do so then its your fault. But please stop with the gambling is a sin because of religion argument here.
8091  Economy / Economics / Re: 16 Cryptocurrency Exchanges Get Approval to Launch in Venezuela on: April 30, 2018, 06:23:35 PM
It is very clear that Maduro has approved 16 exchanges to open soon so that their ever beloved Petro can be listed and can be trade locally or globally. As for the implications on their economy, I don't see anything will change or even improved their financial status even if they open up exchanges. As long as he is the sitting? President, the country will suffer. The only good thing though is that the population can have something to hedge their money. But what I'm afraid of is that how secure those exchanges are, I'm sure that there will be a lot of money flowing and the possibility of hackers targeting them are extremely high that might result on more sufferings if that happens.

I agree, Lebron James is tough to beat come game 7's. He has done that many times already.

Speaking how tough Lebron is in Game 7, he hasn't lost in this decade. You can read everything here.

https://www.sbnation.com/2018/4/29/17293880/lebron-james-game-7-history-cavaliers

And who will forgot how they defeated Golden State in 2016 after they are down 3-1 and eventually win the NBA trophy? As far as Toronto though, its a different team now and they have a better chance as compare to the last 2 years when the Cavs easily swept them. Besides they have the home court advantage this time and Air Canada is one of the largest and noisiest arena ever.
8093  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will always recover beyond its previous peak on: April 29, 2018, 11:22:00 PM
Bitcoin is in a cycle which most investors dismiss and will always recover beyond its previous peak.
Bitcoin historical crashes:

2011: Bitcoin fell 94%
2013: Bitcoin fell 87%
2014: Bitcoin fell 83%
2018: Bitcoin fell 70%

As you can see more MarketCap - less fell!
What do you think about it?

I think it is more important understand why that is the case, in theory nothing can go up forever not even bitcoin so we need to try to understand why this is happening? And in my opinion it's very simple bitcoin is a superior technology, it is also a superior store of value in it's also a superior form of currency, which is why despite the volatility the market bitcoin recovers because of the great fundamentals of it, and if we take into account that governments keep printing their fiat as much as they can then that explains why the price of bitcoin keeps recovering.

I have to disagree with bitcoin as superior technology but the rest is a good reason why bitcoin has been proven that it can recover and bounce back. There are a lot of altcoins out there like ETH which has far more better technology, but bitcoin for me is more of a store of value and resulting in more people globally investing on it. Once it bottom last month, people immediately started to pour their cash because they know that in the next months or so, their investment can literally skyrocketed (store of value/form of investment).

Right now we are chasing $10K, it is expected to have a resistance, but I still optimistic that it can overcome it next month. So if you just invested at the last bottom of $65xx and then the price jumps to $10K, then you have made significant profits in short amount of time. I don't think that is possible if you let your money sit in bank and getting good returns as bitcoins is offering to all of us.
8094  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTalkShow on: April 29, 2018, 10:51:14 PM
Hey all. I live in LA and have some connections to studios/networks etc out here. Planning on putting together a pitch for a show. What are your thoughts on a hosted show on Bitcoin and crypto related events?

Here are the main questions:

What types of content would you want to see?

Everything about crypto (not just bitcoin). Latest news and updates, sort of like a magazine or something. hehehe

How often? Daily, weekly?

Since crypto is very volatile, I think its better if we see some daily updates. Everyday there are hundreds of news going around, I'm sure that you will have a lot to cover even if you do it daily.

What things would you prefer not be covered on the show (if any)

Those FUD's and negative publicity about crypto, specially scams and criminality. We don't need to high light those kind of things. We all know that crypto is not a bad thing, well its a disruptive technology, however I don't think that it was created to be used by criminals.
8095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 29, 2018, 10:29:50 PM

Houston Rockets literally crushing the Utah Jazz now. James Harden already with 17 and it's only 4:05 minutes left in the 2nd and CP3 with 14. Don't know if Jazz will able to get back as Donovan Mitchell only have 7 points and it's already on half of regulations.

Looks like Rockets will get the Game 1. Maybe Im wrong. Rockets won 85% in the series when having a double digit lead before the half. Let's see if that will be the story here.

Houston Rockets is closed to win now. I don't believed that Utah Jazz will able to shorten the lead. That will be a blowout. Better luck next game.

1st Round winners Pelicans and Jazz feel the wrath and power of no. 1 and 2 at the Western Conference. Smiley

And Houston takes Game 1. Statistically, Jazz did better that Houston, but I think the most significant factor is the three point attempt/made. And besides, it looks like that Utah is tired from the series with OKC.

Another great game by Indiana, but it was not enough to overcome James and the Cavs. Victor Oladipo will be big in Indiana in the next coming years and will continue to be their main man. This is really a good year for the team and making the playoffs and hanging with the Cavs is already a accomplishment.

8097  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Pullback on: April 26, 2018, 11:17:33 PM
Only the newbies and those who are week-old investors are wanting the price to rise unrelentingly. The rise from $6500 to $9600 in just over a week is surprising and at the same time, worrying. It could be a bull trap or some fake pump for all we know, but luckily the price held and has continued to do so for a couple days now. A much needed correction had already been expected by most traders. This is nothing new; it just resets the market for a bit before we take any direction from there, which is good. $20k is surely achievable, though I don't see it happening this month ir even the next ciming months.
Everything is only based on greedy only, I agree if this is like a fake pump, because if there is a fake pump then when there is correction will occur panic selling and make the market bleeding again.

What fake pump? Fake pump cannot last for a week. We witnessed the price rose from $6500-$9500 in weeks not days. So I wouldn't call it a fake pump but rather people really putting cash in the ecosystem. And now it went above $9K again, after the daily traders take their profits.

As for newbies, its gonna be a hard lessons for them, yes they may have seen the bearish market for more than 3 months and that is too much for them. I'm sure that there will be another attempt to break the $10K barrier but I don't think we can do it at the end of the month. Probably 1st week of May will be a good start to finally see the price getting on the 5 digit mark.
8098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: April 26, 2018, 10:47:20 PM
- Where do you win high amount of bitcoin in straight betting or in parlay?

I don't do any parlays.

- Do you believe in hunch in terms of betting or still believe in prediction of the analyst?

I used my own judgement and I don't rely much on the prediction of others, unless I want to try to bet on sports that I don't have any idea. Then I check some analyst here on the forum and test them if they really know their thing.

- Do you experience a sweet victory in parlay? How many team or sports you try to mixed?

Again, I'm not a fan of parlay betting.

- Are you believe in lucky in terms of sports betting or you believe to the ability of the players?

There's is still an element of luck and we don't know whose going to win up to the last seconds. But better teams usually win. Just like we witness during the Cavs vs Pacers games, wherein Lebron James sunk the winning basket.

As of now I was not yet win in any sportsbetting I do, do you have any strategies on how I know whose the teams/player were win in the game?

I guess if you know the sports very well, its going to be easy for you to pick who will win and who have the chance to upset. Why you are not winning? Maybe you are betting on a sports that you don't know if totally rely on other tips.
8099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coindesk and its drama on: April 26, 2018, 09:48:32 PM
Despite the unprofessionalism in the article written by coindesk the fact still remains that coindesk is one of the most professional and accurate such when it come to crypto news and update so just because of the unprofessional act of any of they editor coindesk still remains the best.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I don't know if you have been here for too long to say that they are accurately writing crypto articles and calling this the best is bullshit. They should at least review any news submitted before releasing it to the public as it may affect the sentiments of the people (or maybe this is their real intention?)

My thoughts are that we should never be too quick to judge. Coindesk has a very good reputation.

A very good reputation? Is this your personal opinion or are you quoting sources here? AFAIK Coindesk used to write articles based on tips from random sources, so they used to be a scam megaphone. I'm not following their articles now, but in 2014/15 they had a bunch of fake articles that turned out to be nothing but lies.
I also saw them pumping altcoins and writing articles about coins they were holding. That's why if you check their columnist's profiles, many of them state that they don't have any cryptocurrencies, so that they can't be accused of being overly positive for their own financial benefit. Now, do I believe that people who write articles about cryptocurrencies for a living don't have any coins? Of course not, do you?

Exactly, as far as I can remember, they even promoted Bitcoin Cash in their websites after the hardfork which stir controversy as well. That's why when I read news coming from desk, It just gives me a good chuckle everyday.  Smiley. Specially around March of 2017 onwards, almost all of the articles everyday are garbage.

What a sensational performance from Lebron. He truely is a great leader. That last play from both edge of the floor by Lebron was amazing. Thrilling packed game, respect to the Pacers who put a fight against Cavs despite of countless turnovers and missed 3's.
Its time to take the winning bet. Oh yeah!

Did James really got a clean blocked against Oladipo or what is a goal tend?

Anyways, it was one of best games that James have shown us, not missing a free throw and hitting that 3 in the buzzer. I think he almost made a triple double if I'm not mistaken. The Cavs was in control of the game when the Pacers suddenly made a comeback courtesy of Sabonis. One thing I don't know is why the Pacers didn't give a foul when they still have 1 to give.
