8101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: April 25, 2018, 11:31:42 PM
I have no experience in this matter and I think gambling is not related to the relationship and it's only about the games. and if we play the games with our friends, we need to tell them that what we have to get in the end will not disturb our friendship and it's only to have some fun with them. I guess if we can explain to them that we are playing gambling is to get fun in the games and not chase the money, I think they will understand.

Gambling and relationship is very important, just thinking ourselves and not thinking about other people that we love might affect our relationship to them. Look, if you are paying too much attention in gambling, and only spending your little time that you have to your family, you might come to a point where you are completely into gambling, the feelings of your love ones is not important to you anymore because of your addiction.

It must be 80:20, 80% time for you family, and just 20% time for playing gambling.

I really don't know if you can specifically divide your time like that when you are in gambling. Well, I know that is doable, because I'm doing it, but I don't know if I have that kind of percentage. I just play with every bills every month is settled or if I have save enough for rainy days. But If ever I won, it just a bonus for me.

I have been in worst situation, but I still have my family as my priority and even if I gamble up to this day, our relationship is still solid and the only problem we had before is when I suddenly lost my job. But its all good now and I can still play and gamble and have my family at my side.
8102  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ironic that Twitter can claim BTC is currency of the future, and ban crypto ads. on: April 25, 2018, 11:03:23 PM
They are targeting scam ICO's and not bitcoin per se, so their moved is not attacking bitcoin or the whole crypto. They just wanted to weed out those project whose intention is to really take away from money of unsuspecting victims. So they joined, other social media giants such as Facebook and Google to at least 'cleanse' the system.

As for the effect, hard to say but if there will be an one, it will be temporary as we have seen when Facebook bans crypto ads, the market still flourished and we continue with our daily lives. It just put some pressure but it doesn't have enough weight to pull the price to significant levels, in my opinion.

I strongly agree. Bitcoin has little to do with all those ICO scams that flourish in the Internet. And Bitcoin itself isn't a competitor to Twitter, but many other projects and technologies are!

Exactly, Twitter, Google and Facebook bans crypto ads because they don't want their media to be used as part of the giant Ponzi scheme that is taking the world by storm. We all know that scammers uses their platform to spread their scammy ICO and accounts to spread this lies around. And that is the sad part of it, those legit projects has only few options or have to spend a lot of money to market their project because they can't used the big 3 anymore.

As for the Twitter CEO saying bitcoin could really be the single currency around the world, I'm not sure about it. We really don't know what the future brings, however, we can't really blame him for taking steps to stop scammers spreading their malicious intent in social media.
8103  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-25] $10K on Hold As Bitcoin Sees Price Pullback on: April 25, 2018, 10:25:52 PM
Yeah, I think the rally has top 70% this month so that's a lot already. So I'm expecting some minor pullbacks which happens and it seems the price is hovering at $9K a pop. Let's see if this price holds and offer some resistance, otherwise it can go down around $8200-$8500 before seeing another dramatic rise to test the $10K mark.

No need to panic though and push the sell button. Just continue to hodl as the next month can bring another bullish trend for all of us and even can go as high as $11K-$12K. Exciting time is ahead so stay focus and not to worried to much is you see the price and the market going red again for a couple of days.
8104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 25, 2018, 09:42:57 PM
Given the performance of Nadal in Monte Carlo, there is only 1 favorite to win another Roland Garros. I am curious to know what odds the bookies will give us  Tongue

Yeah I'm pretty certain that Nadal will win the French Open once again this year. I'm expecting the odds to be low as he is in fine form on clay heading into the French Open. I'm just glad to see him fit for the Open as it looked like a couple of months ago that he might miss this years French Open.
I hope he does , he deserves it . He has been injury prone but the dedication he has and he never fears that he might get injured again while playing the matches and how he fights for each and every point , he deserves all the trophies . I hope he has a great clay court season just like last year and still be at top spot after clay.
He won his 11th title in Monte Carlo and is currently ranked #1 in ATP competitions.
He could very well win the French open but with all the other players coming back to play in better form since they all rested and didn't have to togh it out to get to a finals except for Alexander Zverev, they all have that on their side.

Sometimes it makes me wonder as to what year it was because you didn't expect that Rafa and Federer are playing high tennis up to this moment.  Grin. Back in January or February, everyone was writing off Rafa because of injuries, but again he proved them all wrong and now he is the big favorite again to win the French Open, and it is said the Rafa owns this tournament and its hard to see him losing it.

Maybe there will be players giving him a good match, specially in the top 10 but I don't see them having a chance to stop him specially at this point.

I really think that the players now days are a lot more professional then back in the day. This is why we are seeing players continue to hold their top form late into their 30's. As long as injuries don't hold them back but as we have seen with Nadal he has come back from several injuries which might of ended many players careers.

I'm looking forward to the French Open even though there are some players in top form, I still can't see Nadal getting beat unless injury strikes him down mid way through the tournament which I hope doesn't happen.

In addition, maybe nutrition and sports therapist also improved a lot in the last decade or so that's why top players who hire good coaches and nutritionist/therapist to help them cope with the demands of high tennis that's why those veterans are still in the league and still playing a level of tennis unheard.

Worst comes to worst, its Nadal himself who will prevent him from raising another trophy this year. I really can't think of anyone matching him in French unless we got a freak injury mid day as you have pictured it.
8105  Economy / Speculation / Re: end of March 2018 became a bitcoin rest place. on: April 25, 2018, 08:47:13 PM
Every first quarter of the year bitcoin moves slowly. We have seen the price falling from almost 20K to 6K in February. Since then the price slowly increased to 7K. Now in the second quarter it's going a little faster. But not as fast as we would like. The 10K resistance is a little to hard to take at the moment.

We have surpassed $9500 for a brief moment but it seems that the market in on a another correction, as the price goes to $9K and the whole crypto is on red right now. But it doesn't mean that we are dead again. Just normal to see bitcoin and crypto in general to take a dip as we have been in a bullish trend for more than a week now.

And i agree with you that $10K resistance is very hard to break. The $8K-$9K is much easier broken because the cash suddenly pour in, but to be able to sustain it, we need more fresh blood to pump the ecosystem, unfortunately, it didn't come in time that's why it didn't hold that long. But I'm sure we will bounce back again and attempt to get to that $10K mark.
8106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: should i copy the ID & PW on a paper? on: April 24, 2018, 11:04:13 PM
nowadays we all will have several wallet from several website for our several crypto coins, and also we have a lot of ID's like forum id, email, ETC, all is from internet website, i did have some too, but there's too many i lost the id/acc/pw info due to some of them is myself did not login for too long time, and i dont have the habit to copy or write down on a paper, so there's permanently lost if i get forgot of ID's or PW's, may i ask how you guys store your important info? any suggestion?
please that im serious on this cause i had lost my first bitcoin wallet registered in 2010, i dont even remember what's the website address and i had a hard copy for that actually

How about using the old and traditional excel spreadsheet to write down everything and have multiple back up of it? Don't back up using emails though, because if you get hacked, most likely all your account is compromised. Don't back it up online, USB is a good option to back up.

I would also suggest that you write down it down if you are too paranoid to save in somewhere online or even back it up on a USB drive or any device. Again, you need to keep multiple backups and also put it somewhere secure so that no one can get to your notes.

And don't be this guys: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-investor-reportedly-hacked-for-2-mln-on-live-stream-internet-calls-foul

He back it op in on Evernote, and the hacker was able to get his email password and the rest is history and millions worth of money is gone.
8107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Nurmagomedov vs ??? Info Prediction, MCGREGOR ATTACKS BUS LOL! on: April 24, 2018, 10:33:15 PM
But we still have Tony and Khabib. Maybe one of them can win against Conor, who knows. I don't know if is will be the biggest fight in history if they ever fight in Russia, but hey, the 4 out of 5 top selling UFC PPV's was headlined by Conor(except #2 Lesnar vs Mir) and he still holds the record against Nate.
I think Tony and Khabib will beat Conor and then he could retire for good from MMA  or he will go down and challenge the 145 pound champion once again, but there is also a change that after two defeats he will call out Paulie for a boxing match. Cheesy. Lesnar and Conor are the biggest pay per view stars and i think the record is with Lesnar .

I still think that Khabib has a high chance to win and beat Conor more than Tony is. I have nothing against Tony, but Khabib is a different animal and can overwhelm Conor in my opinion.

As for the PPV records:

Quote

8108  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Approaches 9k! on: April 24, 2018, 10:02:17 PM
Yes and bitcoin is hovering on the 9,000$ mark already giving those people who almost lost hope that bitcoin will always come back soon. I think bitcoin will also break the resistance early and might have a good result midway through this year.

No bitcoin have surpasses $9K mark and getting closer to the next psychological barrier of $9.5-$10K. This is not critical because for me it would be very tough. We have increased like $3K already from the last bottom of $6.5 so that's a lot. So I'm sure if we can sustained the growth at that levels.

But again, bitcoin price is very unpredictable, we don't know, maybe $9.5 is really the price wherein the bull run will begin. But the thing is, this growth doesn't look like artificial to me, it seems that there are renewed interest in the market right now that's why we have seen significant growth in the last couple of weeks.
8109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin before April 27 on: April 24, 2018, 09:28:52 PM
Did you see that bounce in Bitcoin? You must be feeling great if you bought the dip on February 2, 2018 for around $6,000…Or maybe you missed that opportunity, simply because you don’t know how to get started. If that’s the case, don’t worry. Shocking news has broken about a huge multibillion-dollar company that has proven my findings to be right…Findings that could help anyone turn $100 into a retirement fortune…But there’s no time to waste, Because I expect it to happen as early as April 27. Don't think is too late to invest now, Make up your mind then buy some coin down now.

Can you back up your thoughts by some real events or anything other than saying from 27th an onwards there will be huge pump?

All I know about is that from 27th of the month... Bullrun stated and we can see the evident in the Crypto space now... Check your coinmarket you will notice what am saying. But I got this information from one of my mentor in email sent to me. But there’s no time to waste, Because I expect it to happen as early as April 27. Findings that could help anyone turn $100 into a retirement fortune. But am not giving 100% assurance because nobody can tell what the future hold or tell what will happen but just a prediction  but it might happen. So make up your mind then invest wisely.

OK fair enough. So let us see what will happen after the 27th because the bull run has already started because bitcoin is almost touching $9500 now and we still have like 2 days before your prediction. But with no proof or whatsoever, no one will believed you unless you have something to show us to back it up.

Anyways, as I have said, bitcoin is continuing to climb and we are seeing a significant gains from the last bottom and as investors or holders, we are happy to see that the bear market is over for now. It may coincidence that the OP have predicted it, but common sense will tell you that the bulls is just around the corner, consolidating and now starting is massive bullrun.

Any OKC fans here? I do not know what is happening but they are 1 game away from being ejected.

I thought they can overpower Utah Jazz with Carmelo Anthony and Paul George there but Ricky Rubio is making it so hard for them. Any Comments about this? I am losing my bet.

It is the whole Jazz team that is giving them the hard time. That is a defensive team and it works for a team without chemistry just like OKC. That is like a one man play everytime they go down their own floor.
That should be changes. But I think that will be hard as long as Carmelo is there. That man have been playing a one man team since Denver Nuggets time and he became a superstar.

OKC is on the brink of elimination as they have been struggling on both defense and offense. Westrbrook doesn't have his usual triple double. Remember, this is still Russ team, not Melo, so he better step it up if they want to stay in the playoffs. As for Melo, he is playing inconsistently and the team suffers if he shoots too much. Out of the big 3, only Paul George has been contributing, but its not enough to overcome the feisty Utazz Jazz with Mitchell, Rubio, Gobert and Ingles giving it out every game.

Sad to say but its going to be another first round exit for them. Last year was different though, OKC doesn't have that needed help that's why they rebuild this year with Melo and George but it seems it is still not enough to get them to at least in the second round of the playoffs.
8112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about support in crypto casinos? on: April 23, 2018, 08:54:18 PM
The support is shit for most casinos i haven't had any experience but from what i have seen they are just giving a same message whenever it's related to payment no matter what you need to open a scam accusation against them in order to resolve the issue so support is completely useless according to me

You totally contradicts yourself. How can you say that online casino support is shit if you haven't had any experience with any one of them? And as far as what you have read, you must be referring to withdrawals, of course casinos need to verify everything before paying the customers specially if it involves big amount.

Fortunejack is one of the best their live support will get back to you if you have any issues regarding your deposit or withdrawal. Of course I got the reply saying that they can't process the transaction and I have to wait. But eventually I got my funds exactly the day given to me by their support.
8113  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prices going up to 9.3k$? on: April 23, 2018, 08:30:35 PM
It is not possible for BTC to get back to track, If it hits the 20k mark it is not possible to reach half of it. Just hoard on tight our time will come Cheesy
Hoarding isn't a good thing at all moments, sometimes you should know how to let it go rather then just persist keep it with you without knowing that those coins could turn into garbages in the nearly future.
Donig the right action will help you so much on your trading career.

If you want to see the bitcoin in garbage better you can move out from this forum. There are people still there on this forum to spread the negativity to all the people. We need a people here to take the bitcoin uplift to peak value all the time.
I believe this time bitcoin's price potential. I expect the maximum of 12.5k USD with the ramp move on bitcoin price.

If you are bitcoin holder this is the right to see the more profit in near future, then you can sell the coins mate.

Dude don't feed this troll. I'm pretty sure that this account will just spread lies around the forum. Right now the price seems to be hovering at around $8800-$9K and its just a few thousand dollars to get into the $10K mark.

I agree though that holding is the best option but you need to have that mental strength not to be tempted to push the sell button when it keeps on going down. Again, holding for long term is the safest way to get profits without the hassle of doing trading and the headache if you are a day trader.

I would also advise not to do day trading right now, as we have already pass the bearish market and it doesn't make sense to short to get quick dollars. To be able to maximize your gains hold it till the end of the year and see how your investment grows exponentially.
8114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC follow the same pattern in February 2018? on: April 23, 2018, 03:33:25 PM
I think not. We are going straight to 12k, then we will have some correction.

I like your optimism dude. But let's see first if we can get back at $10K levels before we can even talk $12K.

However, as per OP we are going to cross $8800 before seeing a price correction. In actuality, we have crossed $9K already before seeing a minor dip but I think its achievable in the next coming days (the $9K barrier).

So I would say that the price could at least test $10K before seeing another retracement and then consolidating again for another run at $12K-$13K. But then again, even though we are seeing a massive gains in the last week or so doesn't mean that we can't make a sudden reversal, everything is possible, but I do hope that the bearish trend is somewhat weakening.
8115  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-23] ‘Time to Get Back Into Crypto, ’ Declares Dan Bilzerian on: April 23, 2018, 02:51:00 PM
Regardless of this guy's reputation, I guess this is a good indication for all investors. So as for me, I guess it is high time for people to buy in. I just hope too, we would not be swamped with many dumpers in the process because they greatly affect the market once they let go and cash out, leaving too much Bitcoins in circulation thereby causing the price to suffer. I hope people will be more rationale nowadays, and learn from the past. Nevertheless, let all positive vibes come in!

Correct, everyone who have been in crypto know that its just a matter of time before we can ride a bull run again. And you don't want to be left out in the closet once it started. I'm not familiar with the guy, maybe he is a bad investor, but it makes sense what he is telling though. Its logical to get in while the price is still cheap (below 5 digits) and again if a massive and exponential growth ensure in the next few months, you can make a big profit out of it. So get in while you can.
8116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 23, 2018, 02:16:06 PM
What a bombshell! Stephen Curry not coming back anytime soon, says Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are already down in the fourth quarter of the game to the San Antonio Spurs. I don't even like them to bounce back with a win though, give the Spurs and Gregg a break, there are currently rough times in San Antonio. I'm really looking forward to the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards game though! Its going to be straight up fuego in Washington if they want to continue in the playoffs.
And the Warriors lost the game, so sad about the news of Popovich wife but the Spurs teams gave him a pretty nice win. Even though the Spurs managed to not get beat 4-0 in the series. But I dont think they will win another game in this series as KD is too much of a problem for them. Spurs were hot from 3 but I dont see this happening twice especially in Golden State.

Yes, they avoided a swept but I don't think that they have a chance against Golden State though. They have a lot of turn-overs beginning the first half of the game, and it cost them this game in my opinion. And fun to see Manu again making key plays and the end to secure their first victory.

And its quite surprising that San Antonio shot better 3's against Golden State in this game, which gave them enough room to win. Now Game 5 will be played on Warriors homecourt so I wouldn't be surprise if they closed out this game for good in their home.
8117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from India on: April 23, 2018, 01:45:08 PM
Ministry of Finance has the final authority for money and financial matters. Have a look at USA China trade war where Donald Trump has put $150 billion tariffs on Chinese imports.

Looks like China is the next to ban Bitcoin

You don't need to be a scientist to smell that China will obviously ban bitcoin. That's why Bitmain has already made its plan to move its mining hardware somewhere else.

~snip~

This might be a win for CoinRecoil but its going to be a long and arduous battle in my opinion. Its good though to hear that someone challenged this circular but I wouldn't be surprised if India will put a tighter regulations on cryptocurrency. Again, Kali Digital have invested tons of money having their own crypto exchanges that's why they are putting a fight, but they should at least a plan B of sort, if they lose this battle then they should moved to Malta as well, just like Bitmain and OKex did.
8118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 22, 2018, 08:34:40 PM
To be honest, I am little disappointed by the Trail Blazers. I predict them pretty easy series, or at least couple wins against Pelicans and yet they will most likely be sweeped tonight.
Even though the Pelicans have a higher spot in the seedings they are actually a better team compared to Portland Trailblazers even if Cousins is injured. Anthony Davis is a superstar, Jrue Holiday is a above average PG, Emeka Okafor has been a good signing. Damian Lillard cannot really actually carry a playoff team on his own. Ever since Lamarcus Aldridge chose the Spurs Portland was never the same.

Yeah, I really thought that Portland can overcome NOP but it seems its the other way around. Portland is seeded #3 so I was really surprised that they are swept. And even though NOP missed Cousins because of injury, but Davis and Holiday really step it up and combine for a monster 88 points, of course Rondo is there for experience and leadership so its really a team effort on their end. So its going to be Warriors vs NOP, and with how they played, Warriors hands are full with the duo of Davis and Holiday.
8119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Nurmagomedov vs ??? Info Prediction, MCGREGOR ATTACKS BUS LOL! on: April 22, 2018, 04:18:56 PM
If the fight is in Russia, then I am afraid that Conor McGregor will be going back to Dublin in an ambulance (either dead or alive). Nurmagomedov is invincible in home conditions and it will be fun if the fight actually happens in Grozny.
Edit: Just remembered that Nurmagomedov is an Avar from Dagestan. He won't be very keen to fight in Grozny.... What about Makhachkala as the venue?
I really cannot imagine the beating Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to give to McGregor, but the problem is i never expected him to win against Aldo but he smoked him in seconds and when he was challenging Rafael dos Anjos for the title i was certain that he will smoke McGregor but that fight failed to materialized and finally when it came to Eddie Alvarez i thought he will defeat McGregor but the opposite happened, now my only hope is Khabib and Tony. Cheesy
It would be the biggest fight in history if they fight in Russia, but with things are going it looks like they will face in Madison Square Garden by November, if McGregor really wanted to face Khabib.

But during the fight with Aldo, dos Anjos and Alvarez, Conor is the top pick to win. Or maybe you are betting for the underdog to win and beat Conor. hehehe.

"Cryptocurrency career opportunities are going up as the markets are falling downwards. Why? It's good to negotiate for jobs or if you're a jobs employer, you can negotiate for better expense deals as most websites/influencers/services have dropped values and prices. It's a good time to get into crypto (not necessarily investing money into it) if you were thinking about it last year."

Even last year was a good time for crypto related job opportunities because their are really a lot of projects that is coming up. If you will just go around the forum, you will see as well that there are a lot looking for blockchain developer so I would't be surprise if this will continue to the next couple of years are crypto is really taking off, but its not necessarily that its going up because the market is falling down.

Its going to be a continuing pattern. So if you are good in certain language being used to development blockchain or smart contracts then its another perfect opportunity to get involved with crypto because I was thinking that the pay might be good as well.
