Well, what percentage of the network would you have to control to take it over? 80%? 90%? It's obvious Searing can't do it because I'd fire up an army of wreckage and we would get into the most pointless hash war of all time. Kind of a "battle of the micronauts".
Point still remains: What makes this coin worth holding/using/trading? Would be a great spot for someone to build a title/property management system.....
I think you are a Fujicoin partner. Please join dicord Fujicoin. Then I will set partner permissions on your account. Exchange opinions in a private meeting room. https://discord.gg/rXeBn99er huh? Guess at 10 million FJC I don't qualify! Still, not much privately people on here have not said publicly...so don't get discord idea

My 'expectations' on Bitcoin are that it simply would stay above (on average) about $7,500.00 USD.
I think the 'pump' (if it happens) will only happen after 'complete' miner capitulation and after the 'halving'.
Though if 'adoption' of BTC/Crypto does not pick up..that too may be a HODL'er daydream for the next few years.

Lisk Central America is leaving the project posted today at r/Lisk erased by one of the neutral, unbiased r/Lisk Reddit mods afterwards
Neutral? Unbiased? You have forgotten the smiley thought the sarcasm would shine through that. You are another critical Lisk-investor and therefore Muck-victim I guess? I'm in HODL mode because LISK is, not quite, 3x the value it was when I got it on the ICO, back in the day! That was 25c USD. Now it is 65c USD. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/So at this point, I missed the $30 plus LISK boat so bad, well the boat i refer to is in another Galaxy, I'm so out of it. So at this point I HODL on the hope someday there will at least be a pump over $1.00 or so LISK and then I'll likely call it a win and punt! Then again, LISK may not last that long.

Thoughts:
Regarding difficulty: Diff can go down as well as up. Apparently someone is mining it, as blocks haven't gone to infinite time. However as fewer titans mine it, it should become back in the range of GPUs. Which could allow a protocol change, as even if people used GPUs a maniac with a closet of Titans could launch a 51% attack at any time.
Regarding utility: Needs to be a reason to hold and use FJC other than simply having it. What are people supposed to do with it, can I buy anything with it? Not really. I could (and would) take it for miner repair but it would not cover the cost of shipping or parts.
Searing is right: At the moment a pack of Titans could do a 51% on it, and there has been no innovations to make it worth using.
So the hope for FJC is for me to do a 51% attack and 'fork' FJC to a different protocol afterwards? Hmmmm.....not gonna do this, but interesting. Fujicoin implements anti-51% attack function. So the attack node will only be isolated from the network. All well and good. But KNC Titans will eventually fail, and no one is using nor buying your FJC. I still see no logical way for FJC to ever come back under these circumstances.

I like how SP10's are going for high prices on eBay. I 'suspect' this is so, because data hall tech types can, with the rack format, sneak them into big servers at universities or the company servers and mine BTC without anyone knowing such. No other reason I can see for them to go for high prices when I can get and SP 20 for $40 and shipping. lol. Gotta love this angle!

You will all see the potential of Litecoin soon!
I totally agree with you, Litecoin is a sleeping giant. I believe that by next summer Litecoin will fully recover and grow strongly. Currently, the price of Litecoin is $ 45, this is a very good price for us to buy Litecoin, I believe that in the future, Litecoin will surpass the price of $ 200. er...why would litecoin pump vs other altcoins? I don't understand. I mean maybe with Mimblewimble by then..but aside from that Litecoin Development is not what it should be. But your reasons, please. The old when BTC pumps LTC pumps arguement does not work anymore. Litecoin needs to be more its 'own' coin IMHO> But again, your reasoning?

Tom Lee does whatever it takes and says whatever outrageous thing he can to keep his profile in the news for his consulting business which I think is not limited to cryptocurrency.
Talking Head = supposed credibility = free advertisement on cable networks and web = lots and lots of $$$$.
That's all it boils down to. No matter what he's said over the past few years, it's always been in the interest of Fundstrat. Those other CNBC guys like Brian Kelly are always hyping up shitty altcoins too. I don't think they take the same view of BSV that a lot of Bitcoin investors do. To them, it's just another coin. Exactly, because he was such a BULL in the past he is riding on this to get him exposure as a BULL in the future. He would not get on such t.v. shows as an 'expert' if he was a BEAR...they have enough 'regular' investment types that can bash BTC for that without bringing in outside 'experts'. So his only game to keep getting exposure from past efforts is to go bull BULL advisor. If he was wrong about that and it all goes BULL market to make him look foolish enough, they would dump his ass anyway of the t.v. pundit circuit so no harm no foul ..to just keep going with the bull trend right/wrong or whatever to keep his niche I hope he is dead right on such bullish views..but he seems not to have any other tools in his kit...so even for us hoping he is dead right..it can be annoying...

I'm sure there are a lot of BSV $$$ out there for his traditional investment arm. However, you are correct if the 'Tom Lee' Brand is associated with Bitcoin Core on his talk shows and other endeavors, it does 'weaken' his brand, as they say. What do I know it seems like a pretty good gig he has going on all this. One thing for sure about Bitcoin/Crypto, when they put you us someday in the Nursing Home and we are swapping stories, it will be either: (1) I was damn glad I drank the kool-aid of BTC/Crypto! or (2) I am damn sad I drank the kool-aid of BTC/Crypto! flip a coin Brad

https://bitcoinist.com/litecoin-may-not-become-silver-to-bitcoins-gold-afterall/Litecoin unlikely to be Silver to Bitcoin's Gold. I've been saying this for a while. Litecoin needs to get 'hungry' and start acting in PR and development and such like a regular altcoin. The devs for too long have believed in their own hype of above. Mimblewimble was a good start, but then nothing, no other projects or real updates, etc. The devs have to get past their own. The view that Litecoin by some 'magic' process as being the heir to Bitcoin's Silver status in the altcoin world. They need to step it up or just be irrelevant in the future. The proof is that sh*tcoins like BSV and BCH have more value as a fork than Litecoin. Shake/Rattle/Roll.

Litecoin is unlikely to ever be Silver to Bitcoin's Gold. https://bitcoinist.com/litecoin-may-not-become-silver-to-bitcoins-gold-afterall/Well, this is what I've been claiming all year. My only hope now is that a pump of BTC gets LTC back on track to at least act as a 'regular' altcoin, rather than the 'high hopes of being LTC being Silver to BTC's Gold'. IF that is Litecoin actually does do more to go its own way from Bitcoin (like Mimblewimble) and acts as a coin with its own innovations as well as the usual bitcoin core upgrades, they deem prudent. You have to have more than just Litecoin as a name and the motto! We will see, but this coin definitely needs more room to develop than just Mimblewimble and the same old bitcoin core upgrades.

Yeah, of course, there are still a lot of dumbasses who actually believe the bearwhale propaganda,
Which bearwhales are spreading propaganda? If I was a whale....I have a channel on youtube LIVE and then taped on how to manipulate the BTC market as a whale...it would be 'epic' er ..maybe that would not work real-time..instead, do the deed then show how you did it a week later when you recovered your position, etc just saying...there is extreme gaming ....this would be cooler than cool and maybe showing how it was done would lead to some education on such antics and people would learn to avoid panic on such dreaming...but watching a whale antics would be cool win or lose later brad

This must be real bearish times. Fsinsight is Fundstrat's research team. Why are they promoting Craig Wright's scamcoin? Has Tom Lee entered the scamcoin pumping business? They might have extracted their BSV from their bitcoin private keys hehehe. Bitcoin SV believes its protocol best represents the original vision for Bitcoin. Specifically, this means that Bitcoin SV does not limit its block size and believes that developers have too much power relative to miners. Today, the network is primarily used for storing metadata. BSV’s goal over the long-term is to provide usage both as a payments network and commodity data ledger (metadata storage). With its ambitious goals, Bitcoin SV is contributing to the necessary protocol design experimentation in crypto. No cryptocurrency has achieved global adoption, thus the space needs projects to continue tinkering with protocol designs to find the optimal one that can accommodate global adoption.Source https://fsinsight.com/2019/12/04/crypto-special-report-bitcoin-sv-the-big-block-bitcoin-targeting-enterprise-adoption/Tom Lee does whatever it takes and says whatever outrageous thing he can to keep his profile in the news for his consulting business which I think is not limited to cryptocurrency. Talking Head = supposed credibility = free advertisement on cable networks and web = lots and lots of $$$$.

Ok thanks, probably should have just contacted the OP but saw a mess of stuff as updated in the thread and have been caught in the loop of using 1st page on installs before and then having to do a complete do-over. I am going to do Linux due to the fact of the many free NEVER to be upgradeable past Windows XP laptops I have..but on that note everything, including cgminer better be sudo apt install for newbies..in that I MAYBE can follow monkey see monkey do type in as on the page anything breaks beyond that I'm screwed..that is my level of unbuntu knowledge thanks Brad

The link is from April. lol
methinks it was doomed before april, but I can't remember.... right now the only thing that makes money is FPGA miners, which may or may not be able to do Grin I've no clue sad state of affairs for those of us who used to be ASIC addicted.

which one are you running? the newpac? or the terminus?
edit: running the R606 (have not even unpacked it yet) So I need the complete instructions from downloading the cgminer to whatever if that is needed. I assume I can get that part from the front page of this thread at least?
