8501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it crash in the next few days? on: December 11, 2017, 09:33:03 AM
I was told to cash out, But I was saying no as I didn't think it would crash more then 60% and then 20 people told me to cash out so I did... NEVER AGAIN...

Trust your gut guys not some guys who got lucky one time and made lots of money on trading

Why did you trust those guys? Look at the current price, it has recovered and now trying to test $17 once more but I think there's some resistance and the price is swinging wildly but somewhat settling above $16K. It went down to $13K and I was alarmed as well, but thinking that this is just a correction, I wouldn't bulge from people telling me to sell as well. I make my own decisions, its my money anyways.

I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'. My transaction has been stuck for 12 hours and I've already lost a good deal of cash waiting for it to go through.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.

I personally define crash as a minimum of 50% drop from the current price and I doubt this will happen any time sooner. There should be a tremendous pullback of investors, a very horrible news circled the community, and other misfortune happen simultaneously or consecutively in order for the said crash to happen. And for now, I highly doubt.
I doubt it will crash anytime btc has been continuesly increasing. Were seeing of fallback of the value but it will regain to the current price and continues be. Bitcoin proven to be strong because of the fudsters or many prediction to crash it yet it is still stands highly.

Yes, its just a fallback that we have seen over and over again. And if you are too emotional and didn't know how resilient bitcoin is, you will really immediately dump it because you don't want to lose your profit. However, for those who are been here for almost a year now, is normal and bitcoin has also shown in the past that it can go even further after a crash or correction. So this price movement will end up to $20K at the end of this year.
8502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency! on: December 11, 2017, 08:59:16 AM
Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't think anyone would want miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.

Facebook and Google creating their own cryptocurrency if true has nothing to do with bitcoin. Its a separate entity which both companies can "control". As opposed to bitcoin which is decentralizes. What do you mean miss that? Both companies have already IPO and it doesn't make sense to offer this crypto's to the market. Yes, it's possible that then again, it will just harm than and no make sense in business stand point of view.

No need to make bitcoin as major currencies by big companies, this is totally outrageous and disadvantegous. Have you heard of state back currencies? If not they go and research and see if it fits and becoming successful. We don't need companies adopting bitcoin. We already have a lot of investors to push the price even further. And everyday bitcoin is becoming popular and fresh money is being pump into the ecosystem.
8503  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Today The Price Of Bitcoin Exceeds 100,000rmb In China on: December 08, 2017, 03:50:29 AM
Today as usual, the price of bitcoin is rising again and I was no longer shocked by it .

Bitcoin already surpasses 18K I believed, from just $700 starting this year. So that's more than 1000% increased if I'm not mistaken. Looks like you have predicted it because you are not surprised at all, unlike most of us here who didn't see it coming.

But today is a memorable day for the Chinese which the price of BTC is more than 100,000 RMB(yuan) per bitcoin .If a Chinese man's income is around 100,000 yuan one year ,then you can say: Oh, it's not too bad .

Congratulations then. Bitcoin has the potential to alleviate people's lives specially in third world countries. And like you portray in China, a simple farmer becomes a high family class because of bitcoin. They can now afford everything.

While the Chinese government does not support the trade and development of bitcoin and other blockchain currencies, the topic has never been severed in China.

Yes, no one can stop Bitcoin not even the Great Wall of China. It's already proven, but let's assumed that China didn't banned bitcoin, every China man now are getting richer everyday. But they still have the monopoly on bitcoin mining farms, so I guess there's still who's going to be rich as hell because of bitcoin.

As a girl web developer ,I hope to witness the super, final miracle of bitcoin ~See the power of Opensource and economics !

This is the best era .

Yes, everyone is invited to the party. This is a new revolution, and the new beginning that will change the outlook of economics globally.
8504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 08, 2017, 02:40:34 AM
I think the x10 and x100's of several altcoins/platforms are to be seen in 2018

Enjoy the ride brothers and sisters

With all the shitcoins coming around, I'm sure that we can find at least the proverbial "needle in a haystick" in 2018. New shitcoins arrived, lots of hype around it, investors get interested, pump-and-dump and then BOOM x100's in few days. Book your profit and then look for the next, that's how it is. But the questions is how we gonna find out that one coin that will make us all rich? Would be interesting isn't it?

And to the existing coins, I still go with the top 1-10 in coinmarketcap. I think they are still undervalued this year because of the China ban ICO's and of course the bitcoin sweepstakes that we are seeing. I myself have some ETH that I didn't dump event though is reaches its all-time-high this year. I'm looking at 2018 as the year of the altcoins. Lots of project around, lots of IT companies interested, specially smart contracts. Let's see though. Just watch the top 1-5 this year, it would be huge.
8505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Crypto Exchanges Ready for Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 11:15:37 PM
Bittrex users took to social media to voice their concerns: something is wrong at the third largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Customers openly complain they’re having issues with withdrawals, and this has been going on for weeks. Certainly every popular platform has had its share of problems with runs in the wake of price spikes, but until yesterday the exchange offered no formal, public explanation.

With the huge influx of new customers coming in, I say that they are not ready to accept and transact this kind of volumes. I remember that there was this kind of situation before, specially when Japan entered the picture, the price pickup, customers increased resulting to many complains.

I guess those exchanges will need to make adjustments as well like upgrading their technical, - infrastructure including software, support channels, networks, servers. Communications are very important to their clients, so they should also make it a point to inform what is happening on their end beforehand so that every customers is updated.

And its not only exchanges are affected with the sudden spike hike, even tumbling services too, cryptomixer has been down lately because of DDoS. There's still a lot of individuals out there who wants to create havoc and panic specially when the price is surging.

As for the fees, it should only be increased or charge their client's appropriately. but then again, when the mempool is clogged we can't do anything about it but to pay higher fees.
8506  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin is Officially illeagal in Morocco on: December 07, 2017, 11:14:54 AM
They all have personal views on Bitcoin it's just that Morocco has an infavorable one that could affect its citizens who are Bitcoin and cryptocurrency users. However nothing is permanent and anything illegal can be legalized the only thing they need to do is to see the positive effects of how Bitcoin and Altcoins can effect the economy of a country aside from that they need a politician who will stand with us in creating a law legalizing Bitcoin.

This is the sad part. The one that is really affected by countries banning bitcoin is their citizens. I'm sure that there are Moroccan bitcoin community and hearing this is very unfortunately. I think there's really benefit from the government standpoint, citizens trading bitcoin, earn money, have purchasing power in their country = economic growth. However, this kind of government doesn't bother to look at the bright side of bitcoin.

But  making digital currency transactions illegal, it will be really difficult for Morocco to benefit from solutions based on blockchains and cryptocurrencies, since local startups are no longer allowed to work on any of them!!!!

I don't know about blockchain though. Blockchain is the underlying technology. Banks, who we all know hates bitcoin, but are very inclined towards blockchain technology because it has really lots of benefits. I hope that the Moroccan didn't turn their backs on blockchain. Not only banks but other industries as well can take advantage of it. If they completely shun away from bitcoin/blockchain, then they will be left out of the closet, while other nations are getting the best of out it and people making money. Its their lost.
8507  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin gunning for 14,000$ now on: December 07, 2017, 10:27:05 AM
I have to say this growth really looks too fast. The first think which comes to my mind is whether they ll be any correction.

What do you think?

Of course correction is bound to happen, the question is when? With all he bullish sentiments going on, how long can bitcoin sustain it? We don't know. What we all know is that CBOE bitcoin future contracts offering starts this December 10, for me bitcoin price will continue to rise up to December 10. Then CME's time to begin offering in Dec. 18. So we gonna see how this future contracts can sustain this massive bull run. This two news really drove what we call craziness and madness.

It's really amazing how bitcoin is growing too fast with just a short period of time. The phasing was really fast despite the FUDs and forks that has happened. I believe bitcoin will rise higher than today. I cant help but to get excited for the next year 2018. No one knows if there will be a great decline on the price. But I am waiting for that to buy bitcoin. And about the hacking of nicehash, i think it wont make a big impact since the bitcoins that has been hacked would still circulate.

As for the FUD, investors have been matured with. They don't care about this so called FUD anymore and no amount of fakes news could swayed the bulllish investors that are willing to pour in their cash despite bitcoin reaching all-time-high. There's a lot of money to make and no amount of skepticism will stop them.

I'm not aware of any hacked though. But if you look at the price, it doesn't have any significant effect.
8508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH Over 3000$ on: December 06, 2017, 08:26:37 PM
Can Bitcoin cash reach above 3000$ mark before the end of the year or is it stabilised in between 1300$ to 1600$ mark. Considering Bitcoin is stable at 10500$-11500$, we will see more fluctuations in Bitcoin Cash now.

Bitcoin is already above the price of $10500$-$11500, been trading at $$13,405. And there's no stable price of bitcoin always remember that the market is volatile. As far as Bitcoin Cash, I don't think it can reach $3000, but there are still holders of it and its possible to get to that price long term. I understand your point in thinking that it can go that far, but it will took Bitcoin Cash a year or 2 to reach that price in my opinion.

It seems to me that the price of this coin is too high already. When BCC only appeared, I thought that it would die in a few weeks. But it survived. It seems to me that the BCC is supported by very rich and influential people.

There are really a lot of influential people behind Bitcoin Cash, (Jihan Wu, Roger Ver) and I initially thought that it will die as  well. But they are still standing and even have their share of the limelight when they attempted to overtook bitcoin, but unfortunately they didn't succeed. This coin will remain though, whether we like it or not, but wouldn't reach bitcoin's popularity. They don't have support of the community because we all know that they are here to satisfy those influential people through pump-and-dump scheme.
8509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price correction -10k- on: December 06, 2017, 11:45:20 AM
Hi, after the fast pushing of bitcoin price last days ( which bringa it to >11k $ ) an analysis reports that a pullback correction is still possible with 10k$
To read the full report : https://www.coindesk.com/adrenaline-rush-over-bitcoin-eyes-12000-but-correction-possible/

I don't mind getting a correction and pulling back the price to $10K. Are you kidding me? $10K is still a strong price in my opinion. However, I haven't seen a correction and it there's one already, the market reacts, buy bitcoin again and push the price to almost $13K now. And its just normal to see corrections isn't it. It's not something that we don't see in the market. This year alone we have several pullback and retracement, but bitcoin shows it can rebounded from all of this corrections.

Much lower than 10k. Lots of people are going to be shocked.

LOL. You are either a troll or an alt. Creating FUD has no effect on the people now. With all the financial institutions getting on the side of bitcoin, a correction of $8K is a long shot. To bring the price to $8K, a couple of big whales should have a coordinated plan to sell at the same time causing panic and pull the price to $8K or even lower. But I doubt that they will do that right now.
8510  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will hit 13k? on: December 06, 2017, 08:09:01 AM
Any possibilities for a 13k run since there is a new fork in BTC ?

Bitcoin is moving forward so fast if it continuously happened than probably the price of bitcoin hit 13k$ where already cross 12k$ as well as it's keep going forward.

It already crossed $12,500 now. It's really amazing and there's no stopping at this rate of buying and demand on bitcoin. Before the end of the week $13K will be breach. Demand is high because of all the financial institution recognizing it and offering future contracts. One(CBOE) is  set for Dec 11 and the other is Dec 18 (CME). So I'm assume before that time, bitcoin will continue to grow and then we will see how the market will reacts. I hope it's still on the positive.

And as far as I'm concern, I haven't heard anything negatives yet, that will pull the price of bitcoin. All the FUD's are quite and somewhat didn't know what hit them, its either they join the boat of remain in the closet for the long time and wait till the price sink and create another FUD. I will close the former though, no point of going against bitcoin now. Its gaining acceptance and popularity even to financial institutions who are attacking bitcoin in the beginning.
8511  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN milestone 10000$. Continue to rise or not??? on: December 06, 2017, 07:39:32 AM
Yes, BITCOIN will continue the up trend. i guest BTC will hit 13k $ then make correction in beginning 2018 and continues uptrend until hit 15k$. so if you want to hold, release at 13k-14k $. that is my guess.

We almost hitting the $12k and we still have less than a month to close the year and sure many things can happen, so yeah maybe we can hit the $13k as the rally is unstoppable and many good news are affecting the price. Probably, we can welcome the 2018 with a big smile in our faces as we're heading to much more higher price.

The price is growing even more everyday, $12,5xxx is now the price I'm looking at. I don't know what you guys thinking about a correction but I don't see it coming this year. Specially financial institution is getting on board now, the price could go higher than $15K at the end of the year. Not just with a big smile, but our wallets are getting fatter as well.

There is no doubt about bitcoin after achieving the milestone of 10000$ will continue to achieve the new level as we have seen the correction of bitcoin at the level of 10K and it is consist on that level so I believe the sentiments of bitcoin is positive and it will be performing well and the next level of 15000$ we can expect to be achieve very shortly.

Yes, its insane. The positive sentiments are here to stay. There are a lot of people now who don't want to miss the opportunity to get on board at this time because the price could go as high as $20K next year. That's why I laugh when I read article saying that bitcoin is just a bubble, etc.. etc.. They can't stop bitcoin now, sorry for them, stay with their old traditional stock market because crypto is now the market that makes you earn huge money.
8512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 06, 2017, 04:33:29 AM
If you can invest 1 bitcoin much better, you can trade regularly and it will gives you higher income because the income in trading always based on the amount of your capital. I suggest that even you have huge capital you should learn avoiding greediness because this is the one make traders lost its capital resulting to none profit.

It's way too big if you are going to invest 1 BTC in trading in my opinion. I decent .050-.1 BTC. Start small and just re-invest your gains, its like rolling all in your capital. Specially in you are just starting on your trading journey, you might make some mistakes that your 1 BTC would be gone in just a few days. Start small and dream big my friend.

My opinion 1 BTC is huge already because you can turn it in to 10 times probably in a few amonth, but I think the most important thing than amount of capital is strategy, trading plan and risk management, we should be have experienced to manage the risk and to maximize the profit. Use technical and fundamental analysis and other more thing dont be greedy when on profit, always use trading plan so we will make big money by continue. But if you are still newbie much better start by $100 so when you loss not really effect with your psikilogis.

Yes, trading has a big risk if you don't know what your up to, in the end you will lose everyday. Strategy, entry and exit point should be defined before starting. If you don't know TA or least a basic analysis then you have to gain knowledge and study if first. Well we can't tell them not to be greedy, money is involved here, but at least control your emotions and used your better judgement.
8513  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do you use Tor? on: December 06, 2017, 02:59:39 AM
Yes, I use Tor when i need to surf from another country. As i'm not a tech specialist, i usually use this solution for easy surfing.

Do you lived in a country where Internet is censored or somewhat controlled by your government? Because you can browse or surf from around the globe without using Tor.

I only used Tor once or twice. Just for experienced to see how dark web looks and feels like. Well others used it to hide and protect their privacy. But as far as online gaming for me, I don't used it because I lived today in a country where Bitcoin is legal in a sense, same as online gambling.

Yes, but less than most people might assume, lol.
My most common use of Tor is on open wireless networks.  I know too much about how easy it is for someone with a Raspberry Pi in their pocket to scrape every unencrypted password off the unencrypted WiFi and analyze it all at his or her leisure, and Tor encrypts that first hop.

I'm no expert here, but from what you are saying, its easy to hack someone if he/she is using Tor on Wifi? So it really defeat the purpose of being private and secure using Tor?
8514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: December 05, 2017, 11:48:40 PM
hello!

for me being new to cryptocurrencies i would like to know from where do you get your predictions about the price of not just bitcoins but other cryptocurrencies?

I go check coinmarketcap for the daily price movement then look at several crypto-related website and then go around the forum and see what other's have to say on the current price speculation. Just try to filter out the best opinions, higher rank members tend to have a good and very interesting opinion specially in the speculation thread. I don't used Telegram groups, to much knowledgeable people there that sometimes they totally contradicts themselves. LOL.

Of course its me that makes the final decision on whether to sell or hold or buy more coins. Again, used your better judgement and not be swayed by the hype and FUD going around.
8515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its now the time to sell bitcoin? on: December 05, 2017, 11:18:46 PM
Bitcoin is dropping its value in 24 hours. Do we need to sell it now? or it will go rise again?
Well the price did drop and ended up going back within few hours. You should never be panicking when you see a price drop. All it does is make the situation more worse. And you only sell when you want to, not when you see the price has dropped.

Good advise but still there are a lot of newbies in the market that easily panic and sell their coins with the price is dropping and then scratching their head and regretting their decisions later with the price picks up once more. To be honest, the price is very high and its so tempting not to take profits at this stage.

But if you are in the market for the long term, you should be better not to drop it today because the price can still go up in the next coming weeks. I will only sell if there is some kind of situation that I don't have a choose but to dump some of my stash in exchange of fiat then I will do it.
8516  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 05, 2017, 10:40:15 PM
If you bought bitcoin at $10K and you think that the price is too high then you have to re-think your investment strategy, It looks like it hit $12K already, so that's around 2K profit for those who bought 1 bitcoin. And even if you have bought less than 1 bitcoin only, there's a clear profit to take as well.

But I have to agree, than hitting 5 digits has made a lot of casual investors like me to get bitcoin and waiting for the price to dip, but the sentiments are still bullish after the CME bitcoin future contracts has been announced and CBOe as well.

Personally, I can't buy at this steep price, would rather have to wait for a price correction and see what will be the floor price. But for those people who have some money to spare, you can buy bitcoin but be sure that you are going to hold in for the long term.
8517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 12:52:06 PM
This thread was started in Oct. 25 when the price of bitcoin is around $5,700. If you keep on waiting till today, the OP has already lost and missed the opportunity to gain. You could have been doubled your bitcoin by today's price. So what does this means? Simple. There's no right time or wrong time to get into the market. The sooner the better. The chances of you getting big profit by just sitting your bitcoin in your wallet in very high.
.
nvesting in cryptocurrencies involves very high risk, as prices have been extremely volatile. Many experts are sceptical about bitcoin as an investment primarily because there is nothing for them to analyse. Vivek Belgavi, Partner and Fintech Leader, PwC says, “There isn’t enough of an ecosystem surrounding bitcoins to allow fundamental analysts to study it as an investment. People are therefore investing with imperfect information and joining the herd of speculators.” Since these cryptocurrency ..

I don't care what does the so called expert are saying about bitcoin. Used your common sense here. If you follow them (most of them are skeptical) then you have lost as well. I also believed that bitcoin market is based on speculation. But this factor really drove the market price to go an upward or downward trend. But its not that important because by the rate the price going up and the demand, all their skepticism are worthless. Used your better judgement here.
8518  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-3]Bitcoin investors hoping to make billions on: December 04, 2017, 11:01:31 AM
We are all in for the MONEY right? So all of us who are getting into bitcoin, whether mining or trading are really hoping to make loads of money. Look at how the early adopters are, they bet big and now enjoying the rewards after years of banking and hoping to get it big in bitcoins.

And just like gold, bitcoin is getting harder to earn, at least you have to buy bitcoin at premium price now (above $11K) in order to realized your dream of becoming millionaires or billionaires in the next 5-10 years. There's not much difference in terms of being a mining in gold and bitcoin and being a investors as well.

Its never too late to get into the market and carry out our dreams of becoming rich from bitcoin. Just imagine at the start of this year and the end price now. If you have bought 1 bitcoin back then, your returns is already ten folds or more. That's why I call winning.

I have been paid at the start, but I don't want to go into specifics about personal information. It was agreed that I can join as a legendary member, promote the ico and that will count as my payment for management.

I see, then its all a misunderstanding, You should have not placed yourself on the spreadsheet even if they agreed, you see how much of mess it created? People jump at the smallest opportunity they see to bring down others. Best of luck mate with other campaigns.

I agree. Look at how that thread is being trashed now, a lot of accusations thrown at you end. Maybe some of them are butthurt because you didn't accept them in their campaign and seeing this slightest chance to get back at you. But I'm sure that this issue will just die down naturally as you show intent of leaving the campaign and not get yourself involved.

I still remember a similar intent to put down Atriz though, every accusations thrown into the table. LOL. But the topic has simply forgotten because their is no basis from the very beginning. Keep you head high and don't be distracted from all of this. Just continue with you work and everything will be OK.
8520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons You Shouldn't Buy Bitcoins on: December 04, 2017, 06:46:58 AM
Some people are not interested to buy bitcoin as they think that it is not real at all. Some of other think it will be hacked and so many reasons for not buying bitcoin.

This is the lamest reason I heard so far for not buying bitcoin. Why it is not real? Did you heard about bitcoin exchange? It's where you can "exchange" your bitcoin to fiat. Bitcoin can't be hacked, its bitcoin wallet. And in case of your bitcoin wallet being hacked, its your fault if you didn't have put enough protection. (strong password, keep your private key safe, 2FA).

The reason i didn't buy bitcoin because i'm not a businessman or a billionaire, i'm just a snack dealer. I play bitcoin because income from bitcoin exceeds my main income so it can meet my family's economic needs.

Its still not to late to buy bitcoin however, the price is really high today and just like you casuals investors, you need to wait for a dip and just buy in small portions and you wouldn't notice that you have accumulated it overtime. Glad though that you are able to supplement your income coming from your bitcoin earnings.

Why should you not invest in bitcoins, cryptocurrencies?
Is there any valid reason to stay away from cryptocurrencies?
I think it is good to have some discussion here for our kind information.

Why should I'm not invested in bitcoin? Well, your wrong because I'm totally invested with bitcoin every month 25% of my salary do invest in bitcoin. In accepting this cryptocurrency in your life make you more profitable and helpful when it comes financial problem. In this scenario many people now who attracted in bitcoin because of profitable and also it gives promising to the people.

This is what I'm saying. You don't need to buy in bulk. A good strategy is to put aside funds to buy bitcoin. The rewards for saving bitcoin is really rewarding specially in you just started from small and seeing you bitcoin stash growing. Good job. Just hold on it and don't panic sell and you will be good.
