881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 08, 2022, 10:02:07 PM
First of all I will try to my best to never let them know. Because in many countries people think that gambling is not good. If they know accidentally so I will keep away myself for a while from gambling. And just ignore them. And after some days I will start again but safely.
I think you are wrong, as far as I know every company and even school do some background check to all its staff regularly even they are already hired. Being a gambler is not a problem but being a compulsive gambler is really a problem. It will starts in yourself and then as time passes by you will get addicted to it and it will start to affect your daily lives and the people who are near with you. If you have this kind of profession, reputation is the thing that you need to take care.

Most company do a background check but all they do is just check the criminal records of a person and educational attainment.  Skill and knowledge is assessed via interview and exams.  I don't see any company checking the habit of a person.  They might ask it on the interview but they do not dig in after that.  After all most company depends on the performance of the person and not on how he spend his free time.

Compared with offline Casino and online Casino that requires KYC, I think offline or land-based casino gives more anonymity and privacy to a gambler than an online casino that requires KYC.  The reason why I think land based casino is much more anon and private is because the securities of land base Casino don't ask us to submit KYC or present ID when we are playing at their establishment.  Except of course for some special cases,
The special case here is that whenever one wins a big gamble or gets a jackpot he has to compulsorily do KYC in the casino. Be it land based or online based. Because a gambler with large payouts needs different information not only for the casino but also to follow different government regulations of that country. However, land-based casinos usually offer more opportunities than online casinos. I agree with you that land base casinos are safer for gamblers than online casinos.

I've not been in a traditional casino for a long time but afaik they are already asking for IDs before a customer can go inside. But the fact that your face is seen and you are on thier cameras the whole time, that's not being anonymous. Every one is checked whenever you go inside a building. A person with a young-looking face will be asked to present an ID. If you are a regular gambler I guess the guards can just let you.

I had been in a different casino, and the security maybe lapse in my country because any adult can enter the casino after some security check but they do not ask for any identification document.  Of course if the security suspected a person to be a minor then they have to ask him of his Identification card to prove that the person isn't a minor at all.

In the wild western movies which I think also show history where card tables are inside the salon or a whorehouse, people have to surrender thier weapons before going inside. That's kind of a KYC.

Lol, watching too much movie eh..  Grin.  Most of the created movies is part of the writers imagination there maybe some truth to it but most them are fiction.

This is one of the ascent games that still an existence. I loved this game in those days, we used to play it in the fishing camps to pass time. most time we played it in the day time then when night we switched over to story telling and puzzle falk tales. We calls it "WATT" and that is the name written at the back of the paper.
Historically there are lot of games played in the olding days that are not played in this 21st century. This new generational children have forgotten most of the ascent games unless the child come from a family that loves ascent things. There was gamble we used to played in 90s. We Bet on 5 Cabin Biscuits that is one person would eat the 5 biscuits and another person to run or paddle a canoe across the river and come back again. And saying was that. "THE PERSON WHO WAS EATING BISCUITS WOULD NOT FINISHED IT  BEFORE THE PERSON WHO IS RUNNING OR PADDLING WOULD RETURN". And really if the person could finished eaten the biscuits the other person has won so he would take the bet.

Indeed, there are lots of variation of card game aside from poker and blackjack, we have here a card game that used to be famous in our community, the tong-its and pusoy dos.  These was the pass time of people in my neighborhood when they have nothing to do.  A friendly game that can be played with money bet or a fun game among friends where the loser drink a glass of water, or got painted with soot.

Anonymity and privacy online should really be valued but you cannot push your stance of not submitting your personal information if the government abiding CEX and legit platforms asked you to submit KYC if you are using the platform and have your funds in it.

885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNb Chain Hacked on: October 07, 2022, 09:22:53 PM
What happens next?  There will be on-chain governance votes to determine the following four actions for the common good of BNB:

What to do with the hacked funds, freeze or not to freeze?"

If the vote allows the centralized authority to freeze users' funds, then it is easier to keep money in the bank.

Does the validators still need to vote for the exploited tokens?  The exploited token isn't part of the circulation so definitely it is a no brainer that the token will be frozen as long as it is still on its original address or haven't been exchanged yet.  And didn't the news stated that $7M of that $100m were already frozen?
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 06, 2022, 09:36:21 PM
Do only 50% bet 20$ every time if it fails do 60$ it fails do 150$ if it fails do 350$ if it fails do 900$ if it fails do 2300$

There is no way you will fail 7 times and if you do just increase the bet and you will get it back eventually even if you wait 12 times.

Just try it and be emptied out by your own method.  Your idea has been debunked by dice every hour.  Martingale, the method you are talking about is already in the list of strategy and is not advised as a good gambling strategy.

what you think on my method?

It already exist under the name Martingale Strategy and it is proven to be distructive if played for a long time.  You could have tested your method for thousand of bets and you will see that your method can't win on dice for long sessions.
887  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Exclusion of Chicken Invaders: the Xmas version (My favourite) on: October 06, 2022, 09:18:14 PM

I don't see how house edge, RTP, or any sort of provably fair algorithm, etc. will be applied to that game as that was considered a strategy-based game or more of a skill game. Casino games are not meant to be played with a strategy. That's not how casino games are supposed to be. I also don't see how casino owners will earn fairly and decently on that game as it was more suitable in a tournament-based system wherein there will be a leaderboard.

I highly agree the only way a casino can earn on that type of game is through commission wherein a casino can charge a percentage on the bet between two player.  This game can only be implemented in a gambling platform if it is used as dueling game, ranking system or more on PVP style gambling game.

I think OP will have a hard time finding that game or at least having the same game concept in crypto-casinos.

Goodluck searching that game under a crypto-casino platform.

Or OP won't find this game ever implemented in a Casino due to the low income statistics and might be a game that has higher maintenance than profit.
888  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maybe Yet to be seen? on: October 06, 2022, 09:03:08 PM
Maybe I am not looking enough? That's why I decided to ask you all these questions

1. Is it possible for NFTs to coexist with a crypto-gambling project?

It is very possible for NFTs to coexist with crypto gambling project.  You can check Rollbit as they have NFT's involved in their platform.

2. What usefulness do you think 🤔 could make NFTs useful for crypto gamblers?

The appreciation of price is one of the major usefulness I think could make NFTs useful in crypto gamblers.  It is also used to contribute to Rakeback and other benefits that a casino can give.

890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 04, 2022, 10:47:02 AM
Something important i would love to know, recently just go through the bounty sections and found lots of project running bounty's which implies  marketing. Do you think the marketing is important to do as of now since the dip have gradually affected many people around the cryptospace.

Marketing is always important all year round.  Not because it is a bear season one has to stop marketing, instead the project must do more marketing during this kind of market.

And what happened if they run the marketing at last didn't succeed, what would or might be the outcome of the bounty hunters? Does it mean they should stop joining bounty since the market is in dip or what could be your suggestion.

It is up to them if they wanted to take the chance or risk in earning.  As long as the bounty campaign pay, whether the payment is worthless or worth it, bounty participant will always join a campaign that they think will give them earnings.

I don't mostly pay attention those bounty's that are paying with their token and i don't join any manager who is not trusted and reliable, so i only select those bounty's paid in Busd, Usdt.

That is actually a good decision but sadly only a few pays that kind of option.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum withdrawal? on: October 04, 2022, 10:31:42 AM
Is there any way to sell or withdraw Minereum from a Trust wallet? I have 32,000 (like a lot of people) and was wondering if there is a way to sell/exchange/withdrawl?

If not - what is the best thing to do with the MNE coins?

You cannot withdraw them, you need to pay some amount to be able to mine these token.  There are several option but you have to pay the most expensive one in order to move them after mining that will take years or more before you can fully mine those Minereum.  Plus you also need a clean address to be able to successfully move the mined Minereum if you happen to avail the most expensive option.

It is a trap but I can't say whether it is a scam coin or not because you will be able to mine and transfer those mined MNE if you pay the right price.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 04, 2022, 10:11:39 AM
I particularly know that many people go for Inoue, his category and way of fighting shows that he is a boxer who manages to do many things accurately and efficiently, I think these things are good to take into account, but Butler has many good things and characteristics special ones that can make you give a big surprise.

I wonder what are these characteristics that will surprise us.  Can you give a sound example of that characteristics and why you think it will give us a big surprise?  Butler maybe not worn out due to the long period of interval per fight but I do not think Inoue had started deteriorating yet.  Besides statistics wise and opponent wise, Inoue had fought much better opponent than Butler had (except for Tete) and defeated them all.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: October 03, 2022, 11:15:01 PM
when starting to play the game it should be fun enough for the players, then earn money in return, and they will be excited to try to get as many prizes as possible, and P2E developers just focus on the hype and looking for players who want to play the games they made with the offer of profit money, but when the price drops drastically where they can only earn a little, these gamers leave
Those gamers are coming caused by money and no more. Im not seeing any reason why those gamers must stay if the price has been dropping drastically. Their ROI become even longer to get what they have invested. that makes some players even feeling frustated with it.
It can be seen like axie which has been dropping a lot. Its NFT worth nothing right now. I remember when it was worth lots of ethereum

If the game is entertaining then probably that is the reason why players are staying and keep playing the game.  But if the game theme is like axie inifinity and other nft turn base game without any story behind the game then I don't think that player will stay with that kind of game since there is no benefits or whatsoever in playing the game. Most people who jump in to the kind of game like Axie infinity are just aiming to get profit.  If they found out that there is more money to spend than to earn then people will stop playing it.

SEC Charges 2 Firms and 4 Individuals in Crypto Pump-and-Dump Scheme
If they are found guilty, they should be made to face the law to serve as an example to people who are doing same to stop, and others who are considering starting, not to start. A lot of persons are usually victims of these pump and dump schemes and they deserve justice. It is a good thing that there is an authority checkmating their activities.

These victim of pump and dump scheme are not forced.  They buy the token in their own accord.  Though I don't feel sorry for these investors, I agree that the people who organized massive pump and dump scheme should be punished because they are misleading people in investing money to their lies and deceit.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: October 03, 2022, 10:07:58 PM
In which coin should I invest money other than bitcoin? Because bitcoin has been the most profitable And what will be the future of the other coin, will it increase or not, then you guys can tell. Thanks in advance

If you wanted to take a bit of a risk then I think you can try to invest on a potential new project.  Project that has a solid development team, a working business model and yet to be exploited by pump and dump people.  It is somehow hard but if you happen to find one, you can then enjoy a possible 100x to 1000x profit in a short span of time.  Might be longer but not as long as 2 or 3 years of waiting.
896  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: October 03, 2022, 09:48:35 PM
A professional gambler will always try to control himself because they can do it and has learned much about it. But it is not easy to become a professional because there are many things that we have to learn before we can become professional gamblers. The key to not becoming addicted is always to control ourselves. Even if you are a beginner but have that ability, you don't have to worry about becoming addicted to gambling.

Someone that has played gambling from childhood to adulthood and became a professional gambler in the gambling field would not be an easy thing for that person to control his motion (feeling) to gambling because he has taken gambling as a means of earning a living so you will see that person in the gambling hall every time. Those guys have taken gambling as their daily work or offices. They stay there to argue to disagree to agree.

Those who had taken gambling as their means of living has the ability to control their emotions and have themselves control their action.  They are way more discipline than we thought.  They can have plans, a counter measure and a secondary plan if ever their initial plan doesn't work.  They are able to stop if they feel that they are not lucky to win and will definitely save their bankroll to do their gambling activity next time.

If we had other things to do, I don't think we would think about gambling in our spare time because we would want to try to do other things that are not related to gambling. And yes, I agree we should change our mindset so we don't think about gambling because it will make us more curious. Perhaps going on vacation when we have free time can relieve or anticipate the thought of gambling.

From the part I bolded, all depends on the country, if the country does not value the teaming youths then they dont have any other option than to gamble. Example. In my country I have heard youths saying that the recent bet halls or companies established by different agencies from gambling industries have created job for them. Some of these  boys enter these bet halls in the morning and returned back in the evening. They stay there to play bets argue watch footballs. Since there is no government work to do. In my country there is no industries but there services and service do not employ the youths.

Minors are not allowed to participate in any gambling activity may it be an employee or a gambler.  Besides minors needs a parent consent if they are to work anyway, so I think these youth if they are minors are doing illegal thing and the one hiring them will have a serious trouble if the government found out about those illegal employment.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 02, 2022, 11:28:31 PM
While the others are talking about that Inoue will dominate and dictate this fight, it's good to see that there are opposed opinions on how this match will go.

It's still unknown if who's going to lead the match but most speculations are telling that it's going to be Inoue that will make this fight his and not Butler's.

But again, we don't know what's going to be the result of it and we're all guessing the possible outcome.
We also have to consider the opinion of Butler's camp because everyone is free to express their opinion based on the facts in the previous fight, I'm also waiting for a response about the defense for Butler because there are many things I want to know about his fighting style.

One thing I know of Butler, he doesn't have a sturdy chin.  He was knocked out by Tete after receiving a short uppercut which I think isn't loaded 100% of Tete's punching power.

Even though the majority support Inoue but whatever it is just initial speculation not an opinion for the final result because the dominating boxing fight does not mean the winner but the knockout blow belongs to anyone boxer.

True speculation but has basis.   Butler maybe a power puncher but he isn't that powerful as Donaire and other opponent Inoue has.  Inoue has a devastating body blow and can possibly knock out Butler if by chance uppercut connect since Butler has not so sturdy chin.   Butler may make good use of the ring but Inoue is good at cutting rings.  If the fight goes toe to toe, unless butler got really lucky, we might see Butler kissing the canvas.  Though I never remove the possibility of an upset no matter how low for it to happen.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 02, 2022, 11:06:04 PM
I think people who have dignity or a college degree will gamble in an isolated place in the sense that they will look at their surroundings before they gamble. but like everyone else they sometimes neglect reputation in order to be able to get entertainment in their spare time and this tends not to be a big problem for someone who has a good reputation in the community. I have met many people like this, even among them there are those who like to chat with their students at the same time they are playing gambling.

True, those professional will gamble secretly and will not announce to public that they are engage in gambling activities.  They will always prefer to keep their personal activities secret.  Once discovered by their colleague, they won't bother explaining because they know what they are doing is not affecting their jobs and other people.  Besides, there is no use explaining when a person already think that gambling is a bad behavior.  It will only triggers argument and may make the reputation of the professional guy uglier.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 10:45:38 PM
It is possible but to have this pattern from 9x1 to 9x6 results plus this is Philippines. I'm not embarrassing my own country here but I think something is fishy with this one. It's rare to even have a three jackpot winner then now we have 433. Lmao. Given there's also an allegations of corruption in this agency. Now, i'm having a doubt and won't bet with this lottery.

There had been an allegation of corruption in this department for a long time but they are proven wrong due to lack of evidence.  I wonder who are these 433 winners of the mega jackpot  Grin.  I never doubt that the result of this game is often rigged but it is sad that there is no valid proof of the rigged part.  Anyway, having a representative of the government doesn't mean it can't be rigged, all it takes is money to turn their eyes blind.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 01, 2022, 10:44:45 PM
There's no way of stopping it specially when you are already get addicted to it and also just like on other things such as vices like alcohol and cigarette which even if it would really be banned
then for sure people would be finding a way on exploiting out as long they could able to get one and cater out their addiction.Same goes with gambling which people could really make out dealings right away
considering that accessibility and easy way on engaging on online things is simple. You do need some device and then internet then you're good to go.High chance that you wont really be that getting
caught and since we do have that VPN then it do really make things even more easier and thats why its totally not 100% that people could be stopped.

Well being addicted is another story.  If a person is already a gambling addict, no matter how the government strictly implement a gambling ban, that addicted person will find ways to gamble because he already has the uncontrolled urge to gamble.

And now with the internet, this person can easily bypass the government ISP restriction through the use of VPN as what you stated.  It is really complicated and hard for the government to trace people especially when the government lack resources and skilled personnel to do the tracing or tracking task.
