9221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: February 16, 2020, 05:01:43 PM
What is crazier about this is that he "warned bitcoin"

How does someone "warn" bitcoin? Did he tried some email like ceo@bitcoin.com to contact? lol

This is wjhat is amazing about bitcoin. Nobody is in charge, there is no one to warn, there is on one to process or to make a lawsuit against.
9222  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GlobalBitcoins.io - Buy and sell BTC at premium rates on: February 15, 2020, 12:36:32 PM
Hi! We are looking for users with a LocalBitcoins.com account or access to a regional exchange that offers a premium bitcoin rate. Get in touch with us to be considered for future partnership opportunities!

What is a premium rate?
Why would someone sell you bitcoins cheaper than market price?

There are reasons for countries where bitcoin is more expensive than in other places
Thise countries have additional regulations, taxes etc that makes it very hard to buy USD and buy bitcoin somewhere else.
9223  Local / Brasil / Re: Qual exchange brasileira você usa? on: February 14, 2020, 11:19:46 AM

9224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 14, 2020, 11:06:24 AM
Google already has its own currency
It is called Google Pay, Google Play Credits...

It is not a cryptocurrency , neither uses blockchain tech or whatever. It is like a PayPal

https://pay.Google.com

Bitcoin has a different proposal
9225  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ALL tokens stolen ON KRAKEN on: February 13, 2020, 10:04:49 PM
Did you use 2fa on your gmail account?

I think you should try to open a judicial lawsuit against kraken.
Bring all material you have.

Sadly, your personal email was compromised so , partially,  you have some fault.

But this is too much money and kraken has some security problems
9226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New and need some advice please. on: February 13, 2020, 08:32:24 PM
It is up to them to credit your account, as AdolfinWolf said.

But I think you were lucky, as coinbase already answered your ticket.

Try to provide them the accurate transaction hash, as they asked.
If you have any doubts, you can paste the public address here and the amount transacted so we can find the hash for you (there is no risk in sharing public addresses,  just privacy as we will see the balance.)
9227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [List] Blockchain Explorer (BTC, ETH, XRP etc.) on: February 13, 2020, 04:11:37 PM
I agree with o_e_l_e_o
Some block explorers doesn't even support segwit yet, and you can properly see transactions of native segwit addresses ...

Blockchain.com can't even show native segwit addresses yet. (It shows the address but not clickable,  at least last time I checked)
9228  Local / Brasil / Re: Qual exchange brasileira você usa? on: February 13, 2020, 03:26:53 PM

9229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Determining whether your token is Valuable Or Not on: February 12, 2020, 10:20:47 PM
If you can't evaluate if a token is valuable or not bt yourself,  just stay away from all altcoins.

Don't get "trading" or investment advice from random strangers in the internet.
9230  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: 4° Sorteio Grátis de BTC da aba portuguesa [Patrocinado por b2upro] on: February 12, 2020, 10:12:07 PM
Bastante interessante

9231  Local / Brasil / Re: Qual exchange brasileira você usa? on: February 12, 2020, 10:09:57 PM
Muito bom
Eu uso a walltime, embora use pouco as brasileiras.

9232  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BPIP Extension - user info add-on / extension for Firefox, Chrome, et al on: February 12, 2020, 10:35:01 AM
Can you show trust ratings in every board?
Theymos won't do this, but maybe you guys could Smiley

We promise  not to judge users based on their ratings lol
9233  Local / Brasil / Re: Mercado brasileiro on: February 12, 2020, 09:33:49 AM

https://data.bitcoinity.org/markets/volume/2y?c=e&t=b

9234  Local / Brasil / Re: Mercado brasileiro on: February 11, 2020, 09:06:50 PM

Realmente a queda é drástica. Os dados mencionados são esses

Fonte: https://cointradermonitor.com/preco-bitcoin-brasil

9235  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] BPIP Extension - user info add-on / extension for Firefox, Chrome, et al on: February 11, 2020, 11:18:08 AM
I Just installed the extension in my firefox mobile and.... nothing happened.

I tried on "request desktop version" as well

Edit: sorry it is working. But everything was turnorr by default (except bpip logo). Maybe everything should be on by default?
9236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Please need advice about this project on: February 11, 2020, 10:39:17 AM
Te The problem with those websites is that you can't trust they aren't trying to get your money

For example, they could buy a low volume altcoin and say "hey, everyone buy altcoin x now"
When the price goes up  they sell and after that "you can sell now"
9237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: URL and Hyperlink! on: February 10, 2020, 10:38:52 PM

Example:
https://www.google.com/#spf=1581369720691
DON'T BE FOOLED ABOUT THE HYPERLINK ABOVE! IT'S NOT REALLY GOOGLE AS WE CAN SEE. IT WILL REDIRECT TO WIKIPEDIA!
Code:
[url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink]https://www.google.com/#spf=1581369720691[/url]

This is important to prevent phishing, as many phishing attempts do that, especially via email.

Always double check destination URLs,  and use virus total in unknown websites.
9238  Economy / Services / Re: "wallet recovery" services without a wallet.dat file? on: February 10, 2020, 07:43:49 PM
Your website domain is a bit strange, walletrecovery.ru

There are many similar websites with similar domain names. Maybe your topic was deleted because someone may have considered your website a phishing? I wasn't brave enough to click it lol

Looks clean on virus total

9239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sidechains available today? on: February 08, 2020, 11:39:04 PM
Squatter

If a court decides that bitpay charged me incorrectly , in a bitcoin transaction,  that transaction cannot be reversed. A judge can't even force bitpay to make a  new transaction
A judge may force bitpay to disappear,  but not to make a transaction.

If a judged decide that I must pay 0.1 btc to bitpay, I cannot be forced to do so
They may sell my house,  but can't touch my btc.

However,  if I own 10bucks in a bank account a judge can force the bank to make the transaction.

This is what you couldn't "decypher"

On the other hand, chargebacks really have  nothing to do with transaction reversibility. As I said, it is a value that the whole banking system arbitrary  decided not to  correct their own mistakes.

120 days is not a technical reason, but merely convenience
It is convenience because a judge can determine the bank to pay for that chargeback even if it is years old.

When I have more time I will look for more information regarding reversibility in bank transactions.
Actually,  like the russian example I gave you, banking transactions are happening elsewhere, not in our account directly (the russian money went to the bank, but not to antonopoulos account).  They are basically a custodial service.

In the mean time, try to find your terms and agreement you signed when you opened your bank account.
9240  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: [Tradução] Por que o KYC é extremamente perigoso - e inútil on: February 08, 2020, 05:57:22 PM
