941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of nocoiners on: March 11, 2019, 02:56:32 PM
i very much dislike branding people like this with names such as "nocoiner" but i also hate it a lot more when i see some idiots keep advertising shitcoins and then claim they are better than bitcoin and on top of it all undermine bitcoin!!!

Why do you think they are idiots?

because most of them are still advertising crappy altcoins that have been dumped hard and have no signs of any pumps coming their way any time soon, but still they keep advertising those shitcoins with such hype that a newbie would think it is a real thing and they have struck oil Cheesy
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-02-21]Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Arms Race Triggered By JPMorgan on: March 11, 2019, 02:47:04 PM
I think JP Morgan will also encounter the same issues other projects have tried to tackle. That is, the price volatility of cryptocurrencies. If they back it with their money in US dollars, I think they will lose money on this. One project I'm keen on is Etharemit.org which has a different take on exchanging coins and fiat to facilitate global remittance.

it is a centralized bank created token, it might as well be the same numbersyou see in your bank account since everything about it is centralized, closed source and fully controlled by the bank! in other words it should not even be called a cryptocurrency and should not even be discussed on this forum since it has nothing to do with anything we have around here.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect the market and the investors from manipulations of the whales ? on: March 11, 2019, 02:39:37 PM
you can't protect people from something they don't want any protection from!

what you are calling "manipulation" is the only reason 90% of the altcoins are still alive and that is the only reason why every single trader is still around in this market otherwise if there were no pump and dumps then nobody would ever bother with the high risks of shitcoins to even enter the market in first place. it is that pumps and the possible huge profit that brings them here.
you don't want to "protect" them, you want to take that profit away from them.
944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do a lot of western governments like bitcoin and dislike banks? on: March 11, 2019, 02:20:34 PM
exactly what has been done since fiat hasn't been backed by anything of real value bitcoin is the same but its limited.

i still don't get why this argument is a thing! why does currency have to be backed by anything to have value? it has never been like this! from early days people have used a lot of things a currency in the sense of "medium of exchange". for example ages ago "arrows" were used as a currency! they weren't backed by anything. but they had value because of their utility. and of course there was a finite number of them in circulation too.
that also explains bitcoin very well.

as for banks, the problem has always been with the corruption of them. they seem to be doing whatever they want and get away with it too with bailouts like after they ruined the global economy in 2008.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Off grid Bitcoin on: March 11, 2019, 02:08:42 PM
these are all great additional projects that are popping up these days.
but one of the problems that i always see in them is the lack of trust. for example when you are using bitcoin, you are using a trust-less network. you just get all the blocks and verify them yourself, broadcast everything and are a part of the network. but when you use something like this (SMS in this case) you have to trust the receiver is actually going to broadcast your transaction and this can only work for the case when you are only sending coins, you can never trust something like that for receiving coins!
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of nocoiners on: March 11, 2019, 01:59:50 PM
i very much dislike branding people like this with names such as "nocoiner" but i also hate it a lot more when i see some idiots keep advertising shitcoins and then claim they are better than bitcoin and on top of it all undermine bitcoin!!!

i mean i am more than happy to see an actual competition and an actual "better coin" that does things the way these shitcoins pretend to but when it is all an illusion to pump some shitcoin and take the money from newbies who don't know any better then it gets me really mad.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Rippel a scam? Shocking Forbes article about XRP !!! on: March 08, 2019, 08:43:54 AM
I can't remember the last time I bought a ripple. the thing I remember is XRP made my money burn. too much manipulation for the XRP market, so I think this is a high-volume shitcoin. a lot of people lost because they held the ripple last year, you know when their prices rose slowly only in a sudden time the market was dumped

to be fair that has nothing to do with this topic and Ripple being scam or not. XRP is simply a pump and dump shitcoin which is why some people who are not familiar with pump and dumps or don't want to accept it, lose money because they end up getting on board with the pump too late or end up bag holding. if you improve your timing then you start making better profit too.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: team vs. sovereign token what do you trust more in? on: March 08, 2019, 08:31:06 AM
why should anyone control anything in first place?! the poll needs a third option for none of the above and it should take the most number of votes. if people wanted centralization and someone in control then they would have never even came to cryptocurrency world and those who don't care about decentralization only care about money and for them it doesn't matter what is going on in the background, they only care about how much some shitcoin is being pumped and how much profit they can make. it can be fully controlled by one person or a team and it still wouldn't make a difference to them.
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current Bitcoin Price prediction on: March 08, 2019, 08:14:41 AM
Firstly let me say that no, bitcoin bottom is not in IMHO.. Secondly the trend is your friend until its not. We have been in the same trend for over a year now so of course my bias opinion is we are more likely to go down then up.
your thoughts seem to be all over the place to the point where you even contradict yourself!
you already agree that the trend can not  continue forever and that it has gone on for over a year but yet you insist that it should go on more for some reason that you fail to explain!

At current price on the daily, if BTC stays above the 21 EMA at the end of the week we will most likely reach into the deep 4k range. If its below the 21 daily ema I expect a drop to 3500 and lower.
well people have been saying this for a very long time. i have been seeing this each time bitcoin stables starting from 2015 that i was around. and it never happens because it doesn't make any sense.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now used to send messages to space on: March 08, 2019, 08:08:35 AM
if you just want to "send messages" then there is no point in using bitcoin for it! there are literary dozens of methods that can work a lot better than using bitcoin network which is not designed for something like that because bitcoin is a "currency" and its blockchain is meant for processing monetary transactions not a message board for sending nonsense poetry and stuff like that which people have been doing so far!
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning network for BTC laundering on: March 08, 2019, 07:58:05 AM
why would you want to bother with something complicated and not-anonymous to launder your dirty money when there are lots of easier ways to do it with a better efficiency? just take a look at how others are doing it, like all these ICOs that have been laundering their millions in broad daylight while calling it "fundraising" Cheesy
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 07, 2019, 07:16:54 AM
altcoin market is exactly like traditional market that is why it is too volatile, the thing is that market is "penny stocks" .
on top of that, this market is 90% manipulation and 10% or less reality which means it should be pumped and dumped most of the times and that creates the huge volatility. in other words the market is serving its purpose by being extremely volatile because that is how traders make profit on the bitcoin they invest in all these shitcoins.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: less interest of investors to buy ICO on: March 07, 2019, 07:03:21 AM
it is not a war it is a struggle. and they are struggling because they are useless, and so far (mainly in 2017) they could gather a lot of money from lots of investors because by that time very little people realized how useless they are so they invested in them. but nowadays more people are aware of it so they don't trust them anymore.
not to mention that the main source of success for these shitty ICOs have been the gambling attitude of investors and we all know gamblers always lose in the long run which is why their time is over.
954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Halving on: March 07, 2019, 06:55:25 AM
85% of all Bitcoins will have already be mined by the time of the halving. How do you think Bitcoins 2020 halving will affect its price?

The price will, in the next few months start to climb slowly until the halving. A few months after the halving we’ll have an epic bull run which has happened shortly after every halving we’ve had so far.

i agree with the first part. we will see a rise from now until the halving because that is the nature of bitcoin which always rises and so far we had more than a year of drop which is more than enough and it can not go on forever. so there is no other option but to rise.

but i think you are wrong about the second part, we have always seen the "big bull runs" BEFORE the halving not AFTER it. the thing we see afterwards is the continuation of that growth that i said before, the natural growth that will be sped up by then.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA vs Lightning Network on: March 07, 2019, 06:46:12 AM
the  argument should not be about merchants accepting bitcoin through lightning network or through VISA. the argument should instead be about whether merchants should use the centralized services such as VISA or use decentralized currency/payment system called bitcoin. then how they use bitcoin is their choice. additionally any shop that implements lightning network to accept payments should also accept on chain transactions too. so again the argument is about bitcoin versus Visa.

the result is that any user who has a bitcoin wallet makes the payments easily and anyone who is more "advanced" and has LN wallets can pay with that instead.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Price Prediction 2019 – What’s the future of Litecoin ? on: March 07, 2019, 06:35:27 AM
litecoin is still a copy coin that has never actually done anything meaningful in my opinion. but it has also been around for nearly as long as bitcoin since it was created in early years and because of that it has formed a solid background which is why it is sticking around otherwise it has nothing new!

as for the price, it has always followed bitcoin price unless it has some sort of stand alone hype like LTC halving! and for it to rise up it needs to see either a hype or see bitcoin rise to follow that!

by the way this is bitcoin board not altcoins!
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent BCH SV BCH ABC address on: March 07, 2019, 06:29:16 AM
1. you first have to find a BCH SV wallet that offers "import private key features" then open a wallet there. i don't know any so i can't help you there.
2. then you go to your bitcoin.com wallet and figure out how to get the private keys of your BCH ABC wallet out of it. this link should help you with that: https://www.bitcoin.com/guides/how-to-import-and-export-bitcoin-private-keys
3. now you take that private key and import it in the wallet that you created in step one.
* now you have access to your BCH SV tokens and can spend them.

important be careful what you download and install, there are lots of malwares out there pretending to be a wallet while stealing your coins.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: March 06, 2019, 08:07:06 AM
many of the ICOs have been doing money laundering specially those that are filled within minutes are obviously laundering millions of dollars of dirty money with fake accounts. that is why they get filled so fast! from outside it looks like they are successful but their success is not in running an ICO, their success is in washing their dirty money and cleaning it without the authorities knowing what they are doing yet.
in fact that is one of the reasons why they are getting banned in most countries around the world.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Still Bullish Says Analyst as Crypto Token Binance Coin (BNB) Surges 15% on: March 06, 2019, 07:35:30 AM
In the last 24 hours, the Bitcoin price has slightly dropped from $3,860 to $3,770, struggling to demonstrate strength at the $4,000 resistance level.
that is wrong.
resistance level is tested when you reach it not when you are $200 away from it! also a 1% drop is hardly a struggle not to mention that price is currently above $3800+

Quote
Despite the lack of momentum on the price trend of Bitcoin, several crypto tokens in the likes of Binance Coin (BNB) and Enjin Coin (ENJ) have recorded 15 percent gains against the U.S. dollar and BTC.
that has always been the trend during bitcoin price stability phases. and it is a natural thing too. traders want profit at all times. because of bitcoin stability they can't make that much profit (from 1% changes!!!) so they go pump shitcoins and make a lot of profit and come back as bitcoin starts the big rises.

Quote
Speaking to CCN, a cryptocurrency trader known as “Satoshi, MBA” said that the strength of tokens and small market cap cryptocurrencies show the overall bullish trend of Bitcoin.
that is just bullshit Cheesy
the dude has to check the history of altcoins and their pumps.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on: March 06, 2019, 07:21:09 AM
shitcoins like ethereum can't solve their own limited functionality and the backdoors they have let alone attempt at bigger more serious stuff that bitcoin is dealing with Wink

Calling the #2 crypto a shitcoin? come on......

Just being objective here, what about that inflation bug in bitcoin that was luckily discovered by a bitcoin cash developer?   That could of spelled disaster for btc.

you should not confuse bugs in the protocol with bugs in an implementation software. the bug you are referring to was a bug in bitcoin core which is an implementation of bitcoin's protocol. the protocol itself has no bugs, the software can have lots of bugs.
when you compare it with ethereum, it has lots of "protocol" bugs and exploits and that is what makes it a shitcoin. not to mention that its centralization is also another reason for making it a shitcoin.
