1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Check your career on: September 03, 2025, 04:22:19 PM

Looks like its time for me to learn embalming. This job pays a lot by the way.
This has got to be my career path in the next few months, the more I see this to be a very stable job is because only a few people can stand stitching the dead.

But hold on, can't they develop a robot arm to do all these stuff?
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you increase your bet? on: August 23, 2025, 02:59:18 PM

Once I'm winning, I also going to try to increase the amount to bet. Sometimes I get lucky but it just depend on the match I bet on. If I see the favorite fighter could easily defeat his opponent I'm betting bigger amount to increase my win. I get bolder when I have much funds also.

Just like in Slot, if I win big, I also adjust the amount to see if I get same luck.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fundora - Thurman WBC Super Welterweight Championship October 25, 2025 on: August 23, 2025, 02:22:59 PM
... against Fundora, not sure if he can replicate his performance against the towering Sebastian.

And against his performance against Tim Tsyzu, he should again that his first win is no fluke. Just to sad to see Tim going down this way. Fundora really took everything from him in the first fight and I don't see him becoming a great fighter like his father.
Fundora learned a lot from his loss against Brian Mendoza. He now knows how to use his advantage to the fullest. I reviewed Fundora's last match against Tszyu. Fundora threw everything but the kitchen sink. He is relentless and never lets up Just check it out, this highlight:
Fundora vs Tszyu 2 HIGHLIGHTS: July 19, 2025 | PBC PPV on Prime Video

Thurman is in a big surprise because Fundora is like a punching machine; if he uses the same strategy, Thurman will have a tough night.

It also proved that Fundora's past won are against the low caliber fighters. He been fighting boxers that aren't realy that good yet it boost his profile being a pro boxer and when encountering Tszyu and Mendoza, he suffered this loss. Now I'm sure if Thurman is that solid still but he grown old already which this could be a very one sided fight to once again boost Fundora. Fundora may win but probably not a KO win.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why it is sometimes possible to take out a bank loan to buy BTC on: April 15, 2025, 03:43:55 PM

Is it still possible today?

Because I think banks would rather be keeping BTC by themselves than allowing anyone to buy BTC from the money they lent. Or maybe they will offer to lend BTC directly from the bank itself. Because as far as I know banks today are already gathering their own digital assets including Bitcoin.

What could the condition be if they are to approve lending Bitcoin?
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Shift from Anonymous to Regulated Casinos on: April 14, 2025, 06:15:56 PM

I don't fancy anonymous casinos anymore because some of them will claim to be anonymous but when you win big, they'll ask for KYC verification before you can withdraw your win. I have seen it a lot of times. I will rather save myself from the stress and just go for a regulated casino. Anonymous casino can do away with your win and there is nothing that you can do about it.

That's also one problem with these casinos claiming to offer no KYC but when they feel like they don't want to send the money won by a user, they tend to ask KYC which later they will sometimes accuse of multiple accounts.

There are still anonymous casinos but there is no sports on it and only few games on it. And usually they are casinos with native tokens.
6  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Linux mint install on: April 13, 2025, 01:07:10 PM
In app shop linux mint as Electrum is only Electrum-GRS (org.groestlcoin.electrum-grs) is Your Electrum org or is scam?

Is it?  I have not tried that.

It seem reasonable to just use that Software manager Electrum-GRS. I think its real, they wouldn't be adding it to their list if its a scam.  I just searched in on the app shop too but I think I can rely to it and will download add the dependencies you need for this electrum to run.

Found their info here https://flathub.org/apps/org.groestlcoin.electrum-grs
7  Economy / Economics / Re: The reason countries wish to be independent from the US$ on: April 12, 2025, 07:01:29 PM
America want to make dependent to every country of the World but every country want freedom

Proof do you have some? Only that they are dominant does not automatically make the subdue other countries.
America depends om japan, over Treasury Bonds, America depends on China for consumer Goods, and on Arabian countries for Oil, not much but still.

Most countries depend on US for security this is why they have military bases everywhere. Its because neighboring countries could just claim borders and often times this will end up in conflict and war  between the two. US always intervene in such situation.

However when they intervene they also brought alone some conditions and their help isn't as free as people thought.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How To Handle Depression as a result of gambling addiction..? on: April 12, 2025, 06:45:48 PM
The causes which take someone to suicide are always complex and can't be oversimplified by considering it's all gambling's fault. Gambling may have played a big role in this case, but it's not everything. When you feel sad due to something, you still have many other possibilities in life which could compensate that sadness you are feeling for something specific.

When those possibilities just vanish or look inexistent, it means there is something else going on with the individual. Why isn't he able to find alternatives for his life? Why does everything summarizes to gambling for him?

Those are questions you have to consider. It looks obvious that if I can't make money through gambling, I have to find something else to work with. The point is, why wasn't that obvious for this subject?

Because its always difficult for someone whose head is already not thinking straight. Most of the suicidal people thinks they have had enough already and the easy way out is ending it.

Not the kind of thing that a gambler person would do I think unless he isn't really a gambler but was just lured into it for a day and had spent all his life savings which he has to do a lot of explaining like the college kid who just jump out the window.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 12, 2025, 06:39:06 PM
I thought the bulls would run in March and April, I was completely wrong. The trend has not completely broken yet, but it is close to breaking.
Trump may have ruined everything for the crypto side. With all this uncertainty, there was no chance that Bitcoin would not be affected anyway, since these uncertainties will continue, the days when the green candles will burn are not waiting for us.
If the uncertainties are resolved, then I can comment differently.

If the retaliation continues between China and US I think its going to keep the market unpredictable still.  As of right now the price may shoot and its fine but when the market dumps again everyone will be shouting bear again.

Trump manipulated the market thats what they are saying and I'm sure we felt it when suddenly he changed his mind to pause the tariff to the rest except China. But yep China vs US tariff war is enough to make people panic.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Just In: Gold hits a fresh All Time High on: April 11, 2025, 09:40:00 PM
Moreover, experts presume that if people embraced gold, it’s expected to hit $7500 per ounce. What do you think about investing in Gold?

https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/gold-prices-climb-over-1-trump-hikes-china-tariffs-2025-04-10/
probably due to trump’s tariffs a lot of investors decided to seek protection by investing in gold many people consider gold to be a hedge against inflation so in these uncertain times for our economy you can expect for gold to be a safe place for your money

Peter Schiff been debating about Bitcoin vs Gold since, I can see why somehow he got it right.  $7500 would make you richer if you are not this late yet about is rise.

There are rumors coming out that Trump will be reevaluate the price of Gold and then link them again to USD again so that our currencies will all be backed by gold once again. This is just what I have heard to some people coming up with their theories.

If its true though, it wouldn't be so bad.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China and Russia Embrace Bitcoin for Trade on: April 11, 2025, 09:33:01 PM
As far as I understand, the Communist Party of China has banned Bitcoin exclusively for its citizens.

The financial strategy of the Communist Party of China involves the use of a digital yuan (CBDC) as a means of payment in the country. Chinese citizens should not own the first cryptocurrency, as this makes them independent from the central government.

At the same time, Chinese elites are well aware of the strategic role of Bitcoin in the modern financial system (especially given the weakening role of the US dollar as a global reserve currency). Bitcoin is an effective tool for bypassing economic sanctions and bypassing other trade restrictions.

Therefore, the Communist Party of China encourages Bitcoin mining, as long as it is carried out by state-owned mining companies. China has also been accumulating Bitcoin for a long time.

So its true that China are still mining Bitcoin and these farms are backed by the government.

They re not saying a word about it though. It would have been the biggest encouragement for all other countries if they are just making it public. Russia may have also been mining, their country is suitable for it because they have the oil and gas to power up mining farms. And the surrounding is cold, making the Asic devices last longer.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is the era of Telegram finally over ? on: April 11, 2025, 06:59:04 PM

Yep I totally ignore telegram channels for crypto and bounty campaigns but I'm still using my telegram. The chat app is still being used because  newbies are still asking for support.

My offline friends are on telegram. We talk a lot in there just to get out of social media. Its not a perfect chat app but there is more to it because my friends are also there which we have chat group.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China and Russia Embrace Bitcoin for Trade on: April 11, 2025, 06:50:01 PM
I'm worried if Trump either completely ban Bitcoin or ban Bitcoin related to China and Russia, he will try to stop them. Just like how he threaten BRICS countries who trying to replace USD with their own BRICS currency.

But wait, China ban Bitcoin since a long time ago, why the government allowed to use it? Roll Eyes
The government is above the law Lolz. Trump doesn't have the right to ban any country from using bitcoin, because how will he know when bitcoin is decentralized and will be used in an anonymous manner. Trump can threaten BRICS not to replace USD with BRICS currency because both currency are centralized. It's been a long time since the war that Russia has been using bitcoin for trade after their sanction from the International market and from UN.

They ban their people to use BTC but the government itself is using BTC. The Chinese should really be thinking of buying more BTC for themselves before the supply makes the prices so high. It wouldn't be surprising to see Russia and China and their allies in BRICS going to be using Bitcoin as well.

My question is that if the stablecoin bill is approved, would they be using USDT or USDC?
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been involved in a fight because of gambling? on: April 10, 2025, 12:49:00 PM

Of course the online is safer, you won't be worrying if someone with a knife just site besides you pointing the knife just between the rib cage.

I have not been in a fight within the local casino. I have seen how open a local casino in my area where a local politician can go inside, sit on a table for awhile and drink some rum. They have all the body guards that looks like Danny Trejo and everyone are just afraid to even smile at them.  Cheesy
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to trust: A lawyer or a family member. on: April 10, 2025, 12:43:08 PM
If you are a single bitcoin investor, would you rather teach a trusted family member about Bitcoin than involve your personal lawyer. I ask this because I grew to understand that lawyers are good at handling confidential issues like Wills.
The duty of  Lawyer is to ensure wills are followed strictly, but leaving your bitcoin totally in the hands of a lawyer is entrusting it to a third party totally which is wrong, additionally leaving it in the hands of only a family member poses the risk of him taking all your funds when you are gone.

A good option might be creating a multi-sig wallet, let the family member be part of it as well as your lawyer, that way the family member cannot take it all for themselves and the lawyer must ensure your will and distribution formula is strictly followed before he authorizes transaction.

Multi sign seem to give the lawyer a participation still. What I would do if I am just going to give a way my coins to all the people I love, I would want them not to fight over something. Just divide it all before I would ever feel like I would die the next day.

Divide the properties I have equally or I have a favorite, just leave it to the lawyer to explain. The properties are safe after all it a public data.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still consider yourself a smart bettor even when losing? on: April 10, 2025, 12:37:34 PM

I saw someone  is a sports fanatic but he just doesn't bet on all the matches, he just chooses a few matches to bet on. He chose those matches where he is almost sure to win.

Maybe they see some angle on teams why they chose to just watch. Most of the time we bet because although we are not sure of the analysis, we watch the game and its just more fun to watch a game when there is risk.

17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World recession likely upon tariff aggression by US on: April 09, 2025, 06:40:04 PM
Wasn't there a news today that tariff of Trump was paused?

Well I just read it on some feed today and saw some news about it. I'm jsut very unsure what to do since I have decided to turn my coins to stablecoin and now it looks very late to buy back lol jezz they are just fooling us all with this.

And the FED news also seen very bullish. I hope that wasnt fake news.

18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you choose a trading mentor? on: April 09, 2025, 06:24:47 PM
There are many people that have been scammed by trading mentorship. It will be good for beginner traders to learn by themselves and know the basics of trading and know when someone wants to scam them before going for mentorship program for trading. I guess he would have been discouraged if he knows that trading is far beyond mentorship and see how obvious they are scam.
Lol really? Sorry for the laugh, I just can't believe that even there, the scam still occurs. I know they can be almost anywhere but we are simply offering a service there, so I really don't know on how can a scam penetrate. But wait... I think I know now. It could be that they are not really accredited? Right? That they only show a fake certification and as a newbie, we won't know that what they are teaching us is only basic or legit because we still lack on knowledge.

If we venture trading alone and became experienced, I think it doesn't make sense to hire a mentor anymore. I know some might still do it, as they believe that there will always be someone that is better than them.

Yep there are tutorials on youtube, there are specific tuts for which indicators to learn I'm sure you can get around to check out what works for you while trading small amounts.

One should just try small amount at least feel the risk when you are learning because this will make you strive harder to learn more and at least win a trade. Using demo account is good but grow balls.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: My stradegy for sport betting been doing over 10 years and Im pro in this on: April 09, 2025, 06:02:35 PM

Choosing top teams is normal but they don't win all the time especially when a top team is matched to a top team as well. When you are into sports, you need to be a die hard fan of the sport to know and analyze winning possibilities and how a match could play out.

The strategy that you would need to do is bet on a team with the odds of 1.10 versus 2.00 with your $1000. This way you get to win $100 every time.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take bets just because the bet seems funny? on: April 09, 2025, 05:43:55 PM

I did bet on some underdog in the MMA fight wrestler vs striker, i lost it but was worth watching the game for having a good fight. It feels like both have the chance to win. But the underdog wining it would triple my money. The bet isn't that huge but enjoying the match is all there is especially when you are a fan of the sport,

But for some reason I won some of my bets upon favoring some underdog. Its funny sometimes that I unexpectedly predict outcome.
