Personally, I am interested in seeing what happens in terms of both getting to $80k and through noman's land, and then surely between $80k and $100k.. ... and maybe $80k and $100k are not much different from each other.. perhaps? perhaps?, but personally I don't necessarily want to get too presumptuous about $100k being a done deal until getting to and perhaps above $80k first.. which would be getting through noman's land and seeing how that anticipated journey plays out...
100k might be a slightly harder nut than 80k - if only for the strong psychological milestone of "adding one digit". But that's nothing. Well, almost nothing. 1M, now that will be a stone hard nut. Just wait and see... |

Ha! Early morning, sleeping, and I hear my mobile phone making a funny sound. Something I'd never heard before. I ignored it. Later on in the day, I check and see a Delta (Δ) symbol in the notification area. As it turns out, it was the Delta app I had installed several months ago, notifying me that Bitcoin had crossed the 50,000 € mark! I had forgotten about this app... When I installed it on my phone, I set up alerts on 50k / 60k / 70k / 80k / 90k / 100k € price values. Today was the firing of the 1st one. I'm thinking I'll be hearing more of that funny alert sound this year... Onwards & upwards! HoDL.You smelly bear! Stopping your alerts at 100k... |

Could be a fake fakeout  I hope so too  My SOMA reasoning is - this down movement doesn't smell like stop hunters. It's too slow and gradual and has decreasing volume. Good hunters hit out of the blue, with powerful swift blows. This is something different, like whales accumulating moar cheep corns now that the uppity is hard to postpone. So we need more accumulated volume on the down+retrace up move before we can call it a day. |

I reckon the real UK inflation rate lies somewhere around 12% this year.
There should be stiff penalties for misreporting inflation. Since inflation is akin to a a tax on past savings, the penalties should be similar to those for income misreporting, only you're talking about the wealth of a whole country, so jump straight to the highest bracket. The people responsible for lying about inflation should have all their possessions confiscated and be thrown in jail. The cell key should be placed onto a loaded bitcoiner's boat (likely to have a sudden accident). |
