2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: April 07, 2022, 01:04:04 AM
I am very happy to see a rise in price of cryptocurrencies as it puts hope to investors all over the continent that their bags are not going to keep declining but increase. As at today BTC is over $46k, this shows a significant impact of
the rise in price, and with the rise in price comes happy investors. These investors are happy to buy and see a potential increase in rewards and new adoption are been carried out.

The joy may not last long, as yesterday there was bad news about the Fed policy tightening and a 50 point rate hike at once. What do we see today? Bitcoin and most altcoins are losing value because many investors don't want to take much risk. If we don't hold key levels, the fall could continue. Personally, I expect that the growth might stop for some time and the market will try to find some new support and only after that, when the investors will get the confidence, the prices will start to rise again.
2962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Sending Fees on: April 07, 2022, 12:59:10 AM
If I get USDT and want to send it, what are the current fees to send it to someone else?  I know there is no fee for me to receive USDT.  Most likely if I'm receiving ETH from a site, it will be in the ETH network?

Example I receive USDT from a website.  Now I want to send USDT to someone.  If the USDT is ETH, how much fees do I have to pay?  What if the USDT I am receiving is Tron or another type of network?  I heard there is the BNB network as well.

Does it make sense to send USDT in small amounts as the sending fee could be more than the USDT amount?  Imagine sending one dollar USDT to someone.

It's best not to mess with ERC-20 standard USDT, which is based on the ETH blockchain, because there are always high commissions. The price for the transfer can be more than $10 or even higher. It is better to use USDT of TRC-20 standard, which is based on TRON blockchain. Commissions are always low there, even during the hottest altcoin seasons. The price for the transfer will be a few tens of cents. And it is safer to store funds in this blockchain than in USDT ERC-20.
2963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: April 07, 2022, 12:54:52 AM
honestly find metaverse projects these days too risky but I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you have done a series of research about it. But if you want assurance, it would be better to risk your funds in well-established coins, especially those that are on top. It's smarter to invest in coins with a good history and foundation.

If we talk about metaverses, right now I would consider SAND and MANA as the least risky projects. There was also a project called Bloktopia, but it has fallen in value. If we talk about the new metaverses, which appear now, on the wave of the industry's hype, these are very risky investments that may not meet expectations. But for short-term speculation on such tokens, now is a good time. To be precise, that time began in October 2021.
2964  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: April 05, 2022, 11:22:25 PM
Holding large amounts of money is a fear for some people. Those who understand that inflation will occur every year that passes will make the money they buy lower in value. The only best way is to invest in crypto platforms or stocks. Fiat has not been replaced until now and talking about loss is very unlikely, especially since using bitcoin as the main medium of exchange is difficult to implement in all regions of the world. We must know that some people still live primitively, they are still lagging behind in technology. So it is still very difficult to be able to complete an exchange using bitcoin in a short time.

Many people who are exposed to such fears start investing in cryptocurrencies and they develop a new fear. When bitcoin goes into a deep correction, dropping in price by 30-50% in a few months, people may panic and sell all their assets and put everything back into fiat, thinking that they have saved at least some of their savings.

This all happens because of poor understanding of the behavior of such volatile asset as bitcoin. But as practice shows, even if bitcoin will fall in price during 2-3 years, eventually it will grow and will bring profit from initial savings and, correspondingly, will save the value of your initial assets.

Young investors before and after the purchase need to study bitcoin more and not depend on market sentiment.
2965  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 05, 2022, 11:07:53 PM
Gilbert's Research shows people from 18 to 68 underestimate how much they will change in the future, because of that they miss long term financial plans! What do you Think? Do you have any long term financial plans?

When one is young, one rarely thinks about such things as financial well-being. As a rule, young people want to spend their youth in carelessness, entertainment and not to think about anything. I do not want to work, I want to have more fun, and many people have no particular desire to learn financial literacy, the money is always spent on all sorts of entertainment, beautiful things and so on. For example, I rarely meet people at the age of 18-22 who would think about investments, making a portfolio, investing in promising projects, etc.

Usually it all comes by the age of 30 and later, and then a person thinks about how many years he has wasted, in terms of investing and forming a compound interest. After all, if he had paid attention to this at 18 and started investing, he would have a pretty good financial cushion by the time he was 30. But alas, many come to this after wasting 10 to 15 years of their lives.
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: April 05, 2022, 11:01:51 PM
Elon Musk being a businessman tried to make money out of his investments. He played the game and succeeded with his influence over the market. But we can't blame anyone, though it got into the market as a memecoin then onwards there is continued progress and more acceptance. The recent being the addition of Shiba Inu on 1800 Bitcoin ATM located around 31 States by Bank of America which is a registered entity of FinCEN.

We can. I do not support the idea that it is the investors themselves who are to blame for the fact that they have come to trust the speeches of Ilon Musk. It is also Musk's own fault, because he is a media and public figure, and he should be well aware of the effect of his statements. If someone influential suddenly says that he is disappointed in bitcoin and the price will go down, it is not to say that it is nobody's fault, you should have just not listened to this person.

Media personalities shouldn't abuse their influence on the masses and think about making money on the community, for this they sometimes go to jail, if it were the stock market.
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: April 05, 2022, 10:02:22 PM
Yes, to reach on a common currency for the entire world won't happen. This is all because of the difference in the economies and countries won't destuct their own sovereignty. With cryptocurrency too the same is happening, the gold standard is the only thing that is being commonly followed by the countries. Maybe something similar to gold standard out of bitcoin might interest governments, but the volatility won't let it happen.

As far as I remember, the gold standard is no longer used, the last talks about its return were back in 2007, but the idea was not supported.

As for cryptocurrencies, there could be an interesting trend of using bitcoin as a gold standard for stablcocoins, as LUNA recently did with its UST stablcocoin. It's no secret that centralized, dollar-backed stablenecoins have a number of drawbacks, e.g. not all tokens are backed by real dollars. Most coins are backed by all sorts of securities and other similar assets.
2968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top NFT Marketplaces making Competing OpenSea on: April 05, 2022, 09:56:07 PM
If these platforms do not solve the problems that OpenSea had, then there is not much point in this competition. Who cares where to place the junk NFT tokens that nobody wants and that cause gas prices to go up. In case anyone didn't know, OpenSea transactions were the main reason for high gas prices in 2021.

This industry needs to be regulated so there is no money laundering and trading, where the user sells themselves a junk token to drive up the price.
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin question and answer better option to earn money in crypto on: April 05, 2022, 09:51:29 PM
::)Altcoins are always in the news, should we change our coin according to crypto trends

Crypto trends often set a vector in a certain type of altcoin and many developers drop their old projects and start making something new based on the current demand. If you buy new projects during an ongoing trend, you are taking a risk. If projects appeared before or at the beginning of a trend, it can be a promising investment. For example, when the metaverse trend started, projects like MANA AND SAND already existed on the market, and therefore at the beginning of the trend, you could add them to your portfolio, because the trend would have raised their price even more and they definitely would not have been projects that were created for profit-making at the expense of a hype.
2970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: April 05, 2022, 09:46:49 PM
Do you have any pattern that you see or watch in the market to determine time to sell your hodlings and take your profit ?

Do you regret not selling your coins at any point because you didn't know it will drop ?

It is better to fix profits in installments. Although I understand that every investor's golden dream is to sell everything at once at the very top, you'll never guess the top of the market, so it's better to fix profits in stages.

The first thing better to do is to fix the profit at cost price, then you are guaranteed not to lose anything from your investment. Then you can put orders by the ladder method, guided by your own metrics. For example, when a project grows strongly, it forms a top, then the coin goes to a correction and tries to grow further. If I see that the second top was lower than the first, it means that the project has exhausted the fuel for growth and now there will be large-scale sales, then I fix most of it and leave a very small part.

If I see potential in the project, then I will wait for correction and buy again, but already at low prices.

2973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgert Vs Shiba inu on: April 04, 2022, 08:52:39 PM
Is it true that what bitgert project has in store will beat shiba inu to the core? I've been hearing and reading all these rumours online for a while now what do you think about bitgert project? Anyone investing money on this project already?

The project shot well at the beginning of March, quickly propamped and nothing else. Now I would not invest in it, because it could fail even deeper, I do not see good support yet, only speculative sentiment. There was a strong hype and most likely the early investors sold off their pennies.

If you look fundamentally, the project is definitely interesting with the number of projects launched. If the developers will fulfill all their promises and follow the roadmap, it is worth taking a closer look at the project.
2974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we just going around in circles? on: April 04, 2022, 08:48:41 PM
It doesn’t matter how the project team chooses to launch their project, every team has a different vision or idea of what they want to give to the community, so they are always going to do it differently. Whether they choose for it to come as a metaverse, ICO or IEO, it doesn’t really matter to people like that, what is much important to investors is that the project is able to accomplish what was said it would.

You've mixed the form of investment and the type of tokens into one pile. Metaworld projects now also actively hold public seals, like ICOs or IEOs.

The developers' promises are a factor that is checked after you have invested money, and when you see that the developers have fulfilled their promises, the project will already have time to grow in value. Now there are forms of project development where funds raised during an ICO, IEO, or any other similar form are unlocked just as the developers deliver on their promises.
2975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 0chain(ZCN):a good investment? on: April 04, 2022, 08:12:17 PM
Now is a good time to invest in this project, but a much better time was at the end of February. The project received good support from investors, traders and began to grow. In one month +100% profit. There is definitely potential for further growth, they announced for 2022 that their project will take decentralized storage to the next level.

By the way, they recently rebranded and will now be called Mongoose Coin.
2976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: April 04, 2022, 08:08:40 PM
Is Musk the boss behind SHIB?
Is there an advantage in the future? I am optimistic that SHIB's performance is as good as DOGE  Smiley
Can someone explain, thank you Kiss

No, Elon Musk has nothing to do with Shiba and DOGE as well. Musk likes to PR on all sorts of hype topics or speculate on altcoins. I do not exclude the fact that he had his own investments in these projects and simply tried to influence price with his mediality to make a fast profit.

As for SHIB project itself, compared to DOGE, it looks more interesting and its ecosystem is more diverse.
2977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH future on: April 04, 2022, 08:05:04 PM
Ethereum is a perfect choice for investors as it allows easier access from traders and very high potential for long term growth, this is because the scalability of the platform provides room for continuous improvement by developers.
Ethereum is the best coin after bitcoin and nothing can overthrow Etheruem the second best coin among other cryptocurrencies, I never hesitate to own it because it always provides great profits for the long term and the future of Ethereum will continue to be good and improving.

Yes, after the EIP 1559 update, ETH became more attractive for investors and traders, so now there is an outflow of coins from exchanges. And the deposit contract of ETH 2.0 has already exceeded 10,000,000 coins. I doubt that we can see a full-fledged replacement for ETH in the near future, as it is a huge ecosystem that is already highly popular. Yes, it has certain problems, and on this background there are so-called ETH killers that solve ETH gaps in their projects, but even offering, in some aspects, a better product, it still will not outweigh the influence of ETH as a deflationary asset that is gaining momentum.
2978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: April 04, 2022, 08:01:17 PM
The demand of using ether network is still high and people normally using it even after complaining. Besides ether team should know how important it is but developers still unable to minimize fee during transaction and Whatever they able to minimize, that is inconsiderable. Ethereum 2.0 update is just giving people hope since so many years and now it suppose to be, It won't be normal soon. We have to suffer with it for long even we are already in.

The question remains as to when Ethereum 2.0 will launch and how many times the developers will postpone the full launch of the main network. I have big doubts that we will see it this year, or even next year. Development keeps getting delayed, and the problem of high commissions remains. The demand for the network is increasing again now, and if a new token hyip starts, we will see prohibitive values for gas again.

Yes, Vitalik Buterin himself often talks about the problem of high commissions, that after sharding it will be possible to reduce the commissions. Only when all this will be launched is a big question.
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: April 04, 2022, 07:53:08 PM
You are trying to transfer a pattern that comes from the stock market, where there is the slogan: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. But I don't think that works well for the crypto market. For one simple reason: The vast majority of cryptos are similar in price to Bitcoin. If Bitcoin falls, so do all the others. If Bitcoin rises, so do all the others. Therefore, I would rather take Bitcoin as a fixed anchor in my portfolio and then add 2-3 promising projects. More than 5 coins in a portfolio for diversification is not necessary.

It also works for the crypto market if you categorize your portfolio by the duration of the investment itself: short-term, medium-term, long-term investments. I disagree about the similarity to bitcoin. Because there are often times when bitcoin falls and altcoins start to rise. Think back to 2018, for example, when bitcoin collapsed and altcoins started to rise in value. This happens because investors like to move from bitcoin to altcoins, diversifying their risk, a hedging strategy that works great in cryptocurrency as well.
2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about gaming and metaverse on: April 03, 2022, 08:06:07 PM
Guys I have few questions for you guys about p2e games and metaverse projects

1. Would you choose gala games over decentraland for future?
2. What do you think about metaverse future? Wil this work out on the long run because no project have shown a full working metaverse project so far.

1. No. MANA is much more reliable in terms of investment. Yes, it may not make much profit, but it will not go bust. The investment in this project is justified.

2. The future of Metaverse is definitely promising. I saw the news today that by 2030 the capitalization of the Metaverse will be more than 10 trillion dollars. So it makes sense to invest in these projects, especially since in the future more and more areas of traditional finance, goods and services will interact with metaworlds, but most of all it will be the gaming sector.
