2941  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: April 10, 2022, 06:24:22 AM
My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?

In terms of risk, it is safer to just invest. In terms of profitability, it is more interesting to send coins to stacking and earn additional new tokens if we are talking about profitable farming or interest from providing liquidity. If we're talking about altcoins, POS mining is much more efficient than just holding, but it's dangerous to send all your coins to stacking completely, so you should keep some of your coins in your wallet and send some to stacking pools to observe the risks. It's dangerous to send all of your funds to a steaking pool because of the various risks involved.
2942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The Future of Algorithmic Stablecoins on: April 10, 2022, 06:19:48 AM
After a strong hype around Terra's UST algorithmic stablecoin, other projects are starting to think about launching their own algorithmic stablecoins.

For example, NEAR, according to rumors, may soon launch its own USN stablecoin: https://twitter.com/resdegen/status/1512126024846303232

Perhaps now begins the era of algorithmic stablecoins, which will be ubiquitous with large projects and they will be backed by cryptocurrency rather than dollars, as centralized stablecoins are.

Do you think there will be a shift of interest in the crypto industry toward algorithmic stablecoins? Will it be a new hype? And will algorithmic stablecoins completely displace centralized, dollar-backed stablecoins?
2943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: April 09, 2022, 04:46:25 PM
Elon Musk has once again taken to using DOGE to promote his core business. Recently, a party was held to celebrate the opening of a new Tesla plant, somewhere in Texas. And of course Musk didn't miss the opportunity to integrate DOGE there.

A video of the presentation can be seen on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka5kJriXI9Q. Remarkably, the price of DOGE had almost no reaction to this mention.
2944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask airdrop is coming on: April 09, 2022, 06:03:44 AM
It will be interesting to see this airdrop, I hope it won't turn out like the recent expected airdrop, when the party was ruined by bots. Considering the fact that MetaMask is a very popular wallet and many people used it at different times, in order to make this airdrop good, the creators should either choose a very early period of wallet usage to generously reward early users or the airdrop will be very large (because of its popularity) and the airdrop will be very scarce. You can not hope for Uniswap airdrop, it is unlikely that this airdrop will be more than $50 in their tokens.
2945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can put your Binance Mobox NFTs for sale. on: April 09, 2022, 05:58:59 AM
There is a great confidence that 80% of these avatars will turn into absolutely illiquid tokens after the hype and no one will need them. That's when they can be bought at a good price, if someone wants to spend money on it of course.

I see that already some people are trying to sell their avatars for 1 ETH. I like this industry.  Cheesy

The real market price of all these pictures is $1 maximum, the rest is the ambition of the person selling these tokens. In any case, I don't recommend anyone to give 1 ETH for it.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: April 09, 2022, 05:53:27 AM
there is no hope, all shitcoins are dumped when the price of bitcoin is also dumped,
on binance, shitcoins are slowly being delisted from the exchange, there have been lots of them,
and of course that makes us anxious when holding coins on binance, especially now old projects become a shitcoin.

I can imagine the turmoil that investors in various NFT tokens, GameFi, memcoins, and fan tokens have experienced. This is a special category of shitty coins that will fall with any market turmoil.

I've been watching this group of tokens for the past six months and noticed that they were most preferred by various newbies who didn't know where to put their $500-1000. Most of them probably sold their crappy investments at a loss. Hopefully this will be a good lesson for them and they'll start to have a better attitude about what projects are worth investing their money in.
2947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Outperform Bitcoin, Traders Cautiously Await Breakouts on: April 08, 2022, 07:23:04 PM
For now, altcoins are following bitcoin, its dominance is gradually falling as investors see more prospects in the altcoin zone. I see that many altcoins started to come out of accumulation zones, which have been stretched since the end of last year and are already ready for a full-blown bull run. Everyone in the market is waiting for a full-fledged altcoin season. In any case, over the last 30 days, altcoins started to bring good profits.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in new projects on: April 08, 2022, 07:19:10 PM
Went to the website and it says that if I invest $1000 in Y360 tokens, I will have $607 941,2260 in one year. Grin
If this is true then you will be a millionaire in one year. I though this only comes into our dreams but it is already a reality Cheesy.
Nahh kinda sarcastic on that part because I know that this is a scam.

I think this is the new way to attract new investors already. In the past its a commission based system where one person must invite to invest into their project so you will be paid. Now the new way to scam new investors is thru this ridiculous APY that sound like shit and impossible.

If you see this kind of projects, ask this question to yourself "Where they will get that huge money to pay to us investors?" or ask them directly where they will get the money. I feel sorry for those investors who fell into this kind of projects hoping that these projects will change their life. If I will invest into tokens that give APY, I'd rather buy the top tokens than buying these shitcoins. Lower reward yes but the risk is low as well.

In fact, this is no longer a new way to attract naive investors. Such schemes worked well back in 2020, when there would be a DeFi boom and many liquidity pools would appear. The competition was very high and all sorts of dubious projects tried to lure liquidity by means of exorbitant APYs, which of course no one paid, because such projects must have trillions of trades on their platforms for them to pay such insane percentages. This site needs to raise money by any means necessary and so they show you what people want to see most often, big profits for minimal investment. This scam will thrive for a long time to come, as human greed stupidity and naivety has no limits.
2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins To 10-100x This Year on: April 08, 2022, 07:15:19 PM
Real x100 coins no one will ever reveal until they need to be heavily propagated. People think bloggers help make money, when in fact they are trying to make money off their audience.
early investors prefer keep their own gem till finally alot people talk about it. for them its secret project that ,must accumulated till their bag full and shill it later.

Seed investors are the most profitable investors. They invest in a project when no one else knows about it. Of course, the more the project is unknown to the general public, the more profits can be made. People think that when they hear about a project from public places with a wide audience, it's a great chance to invest. But in reality, such moves are only necessary to gather liquidity for early investors. No one is going to care about the profits of these late investors who came at the call of the influencer. These people are the market cannon fodder that the early investors' or team members' coin sales come at the expense of.

That is, if we see a public call to invest in a project, this means that the project has already worked off its growth and is now actively looking for those at whose expense profits will be extracted.
2950  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 08, 2022, 03:44:11 AM
When one is young, one rarely thinks about such things as financial well-being. As a rule, young people want to spend their youth in carelessness, entertainment and not to think about anything. I do not want to work, I want to have more fun, and many people have no particular desire to learn financial literacy, the money is always spent on all sorts of entertainment, beautiful things and so on.
Indeed. It seems like being youth is permanent and we're just living to make ourselves happy. We do not care of other things and not thinking ahead about the future. Its a typical mindset of the youth because they dont experience yet the real hardship in life. But as we grow old and facing the reality, thats how people became mature especially if we already experience the real situation that we must face.

Probably the pandemic that happened gave people a lesson about the importance of having a savings. In my case a reliable insurance for our family will serves as our retirement plan incase we're not able to work anymore. Thats why we made sure to get ourselves an insurance. Its a must to plan for the future since we're not getting any younger.

Another good catalyst to quickly start taking an interest in your financial future, including additional income, which can be represented by the same cryptocurrency, is the obligations you have.

When you have a family, children, some business, your mindset is rearranged, and now your primary concern is not entertainment, but earning money to provide for your family, children, or to support your business. In such a situation people become interested in investments, exchanges and other financial instruments, which can be used to make money. And this is just a good chance to get to know bitcoin and start investing for your future and the future of your children.

Went to the website and it says that if I invest $1000 in Y360 tokens, I will have $607 941,2260 in one year. Grin

I wonder who this nonsense is aimed at? For complete beginners in crypto industry? Reminds some kind of pyramid scheme where people are lured by huge interest on payments, but hardly anyone will get such interest. 360 000%? And if this project will raise 10 000 000$ of investment, where will it get 360 000% for every 1000% invested?

It will be a natural scam or, as is often the case, the interest rates will be severely cut.
2952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "hyperbitcoinization" become a reality? on: April 08, 2022, 03:26:01 AM
For those unaware, "hyperbitcoinization" means the adoption of Bitcoin at a large scale worldwide making it the standard (global) unit of account. In a "hyperbitcoinized" world, you would pay for anything using Bitcoin instead of Fiat. In the past years, Bitcoin's mainstream adoption went up at an accelerated rate. Bitcoin's ever-rising popularity made El Salvador the first country to adopt it as legal tender. As inflation increases at alarming levels, people will seek out for a solution to the problem. And what better way than ditching Fiat in favor of Bitcoin?

What are your thoughts? Do you think we're close to "hyperbitcoinization"? If not, why? What will be of the world without centralized Fiat currencies? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Bitcoin as another breakthrough technology is still in its early days. Obviously, hyper-acceptance will happen sooner or later, everything is going towards it. Bitcoin is increasingly being used in various fields: collateral, investment, means of payment, etc. I think in the future, every country will have at least 1 city with a bitcoin zone, like Lugano in Switzerland right now. I am not sure that all countries will go the way of El Salvador and fully accept bitcoin in the whole country, but that does not mean that bitcoin hyper-adoption will not happen, but it will go a slightly different way, so that there is no conflict of interest, because the big central banks will not allow their fiat to fall off the radar.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfering Funds to Another Network on: April 08, 2022, 03:01:34 AM
Hello, I'm quite new to DeFi projects and smart contracts, and I'm interested in getting to know more about them. Currently, I've only invested in projects found on the Binance Smart Chain network. My portfolio is consisted of two smart contracts, FTM - USDT and  UST - BUSD, which aren't too bad, but there are far better ones in other chains.

My question now is, how do I transfer funds from one network to another? Up to this point, I have a decent sum of money in BUSD and USDT. Due to being a complete newbie regarding this matter, I don't want to mess anything up and end up losing my funds, it's not a banking service, thus, if I do something stupid, there's a high chance that my money is lost on the blockchain.

You should use cross-chain aggregators where you can choose the right bridge to exchange tokens.

You can find a detailed table of bridges here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jYZOfU2R3PdzRmnY9Nfc4pzerX_YSInNdyhtSj_3oWY/edit#gid=0

You can also use DEX exchanges to exchange tokens. It won't take much time, but it will cost a bit more in commissions because you will have to do more actions to get the final result.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 08, 2022, 02:55:02 AM
I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins

Do you think you will really be offered something concrete here? If it were that easy, you wouldn't have to think, just create a topic and people from thousands of projects told you a great investment, and you just bought it and that's it. That's not likely to happen. You will get even more confused by the abundance of options on offer. You have $850 investments, you can't create a good diversified portfolio out of them. I would not recommend that you invest in 1 project, distribute funds at least in 2-3 projects.

I will not mention the specific names of projects, but I advise you to take a closer look at those projects that have long been falling and are now beginning to rise in value. These are the projects that can give some X's in the medium term, if the market will be in a bullish trend. In any case, I do not recommend investing in projects that have already gone up in value
2955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins To 10-100x This Year on: April 08, 2022, 02:50:36 AM
Although the forecasts of these experts are not always 100% correct, I understand that the simple fact that a youtube channel with millions of views suggests that the price of a cryptocurrency is going to rise...it is almost certain that it will rise at least for a few hours after the video is published.

I consider better strategy to invest in these coins than for example in coins with more liquidity but it is very difficult to make a x10 ... especially having the option to put a stop loss to limit possible losses ... what do you think?

Investing in coins that YouTube channels talk about is a bad idea. No, it's a terrible idea. No normal investor would ever invest in a project just because someone on their blog said it's a really good coin. The main point of these blogs, where they share signals about promising coins, is for you to buy these coins and make liquidity to those who have already bought these coins. It's a kind of version of the old Pump-and-Dump scheme, only using famous bloggers.

Real x100 coins no one will ever reveal until they need to be heavily propagated. People think bloggers help make money, when in fact they are trying to make money off their audience.

2957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the criteria for choosing altcoin on: April 07, 2022, 01:59:17 AM
Bitcoin is the biggest coin for example, and if you invest into bitcoin you know that it is the most known coin and you feel good about it, then you invest into something as big as you can find, eth, ltc, bnb and so forth. But if you invest into coins that are out of top 200, then you would probably realize that it's not something big at all, and should not be considered a good investment.

Projects like Axie Infinity, for example, when they came on the market, few people knew about them at all and they were way outside the top 200, but in 2021 this project has grown so much that many would dream of buying it in the days when no one knew about it. Back in the days when it was worth a few dimes. Do you think the Top 200 is some sort of benchmark of quality and confidence? No, it's just a capitalization rating, not a quality rating. Promising projects at the very beginning of their journey do not always end up in the TOP-200. But that does not mean that it will be a bad investment.
2958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: April 07, 2022, 01:54:17 AM
I see your point and I fully understand, there's no competition indeed bitcoin will remain as a king but likewise, there are many alternative coins to choose to add to your basket and wait till the market rise back and bring that huge pump that will let us enjoy harvesting the profits that we desire. The market for alternative coins is wide.

It's more about doing your own research and analysis in order to pick the right one and enjoy your investing / trading participation.

Your money, your obligation to deal with studying the potentials of your chosen coin/s to invest your money.

I would call bitcoin a safe and low-risk investment. It may not be growing as fast as it used to, but it is a sure thing. Many altcoins also have good properties for investing, but do they have good properties for long-term investing?

I have repeatedly read on the forum the thought that bitcoin is better for long term investments and altcoins for medium to short term investments. I like this approach and support it. Altcoins go up very fast, but they go down just as fast. You can make a lot more profit on altcoins if you constantly monitor the market situation.
2959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: April 07, 2022, 01:48:28 AM
I agree, that this is a natural thing to happen in a market, an asset will not always go up and not always go down, including this time what happened to bitcoin. I say worry is also a natural thing that we feel, as long as we can still control it, in other words, don't let that worry overwhelm us. If that happens, of course, we will lose our way and we may lose what is our asset.

And today, as soon as bitcoin started to fall in value, the whole altcoin market followed. And the classic way, as soon as the altcoin market started to fall, everyone started to move to bitcoin and its dominance started to rise again. Investors now want to minimize risk and pour their assets into lower risk assets. Such moves by large holders create panic in the market and provoke sell-offs.

It is very difficult to suppress such a feeling as herd instinct, even when all people are at a great distance from each other and do not see each other in the flesh. The market is always dominated by the herd mentality of the crowd and the dependence on the big players.
2960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Spikes 10% After News Of Musk's $3B Stake in Twitter on: April 07, 2022, 01:14:24 AM
Dogecoin’s DOGE tokens spiked 10% on Monday as Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk was revealed to hold a 9.2% stake in social media company Twitter(TWTR), worth around $2.88 billion.

The old scheme of DOGE pumping on news involving Ilon Musk continues to work. Apparently people have not learned their lesson well and it is not worth believing at all that Ilon Musk is doing something good for the Dogecoin community. Rather, he is using it for his own personal purposes to promote his products and make his own profit out of it all.

Musk has previously lent support to dogecoin development and adoption. Last May, he tweeted that he was working with dogecoin developers to improve system efficiency. That sent dogecoin prices up by 22%.

Yeah, and then he said on a TV show that DOGE should be exchanged for fiat money, because DOGE itself isn't serious and stuff like that. After that, the price slowly dropped from 40 cents to 10-13 cents. This is how Elon Musk speculates on this topic.
