2521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Epic Cash vs Theta Token on: July 11, 2022, 07:06:17 PM
If I had to choose between two evils, I would choose Epic Cash because it is closer to the support price from which it started its ascent in 2021. Theta still has room to fall, so buying Theta, in terms of best ROI, doesn't look profitable right now. That's if you think in terms of best ROI by the end of 2022. Looking at the longer term, I would definitely choose Theta Token, as its concept is fresher and more tuned to the current market realities.
2522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptos are ISO20022 compliant? on: July 11, 2022, 06:41:18 PM
I'm not sure that the success of altcoin projects depends on any standards. Crypto market has not matured enough for us to talk about some kind of standardization. There are still rigid laws of speculation and manipulation, so many of the fundamental factors of most altcoins are irrelevant to most investors. It's just a way to get rich.
2523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 11, 2022, 06:28:54 PM
So right now the market is unpredictable. Even in this condition as we all can see most YouTubers and even Kucoin, and Binance exchanges promote meme coins. What would you guys do about this meme coins project? are you guys ok to invest in these coins or rather not invest this time? because most famous coins like shib, and doge are now in the dip as we can see.

Have you ever wondered why these platforms promote these projects? Because they are cheap to produce, they do not require any special concept or technological component, and they are very popular because the DOGE and SHIB projects have created an image in the crypto community of a profitable investment that can make an investor rich. In a bull market, these coins can make a profit for their owner in a short period of time, but in a bear market, these coins are such risky gambling. It has nothing to do with investing, more like a roulette game where only the casino, in our case the platform that promotes these tokens, wins.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DOGE go back to sub $0.01 prices ever again? on: July 11, 2022, 06:19:52 PM
To say the coin has "nothing behind it" just reveals a high level of ignorance. DOGE possesses a winning combination of fast blocktimes + cheap transactions.

When I read another justification of another shitcoin with the argument fast blocktimes + cheap transactions, or something like that, I'm perplexed and say: what, these mantras again, how much you can repeat these memorized phrases?

If fast blocktimes + cheap transactions had a meaning in crypto world, then rather slow bitcoin and very expensive ETH would never be so popular as they are now, they would be replaced by all sorts of DOGE and a million more such useless coins, offering cheap transactions and fast block time. Such useful features as cheap transactions didn't help the ambitious EOS project, DigiByte, Bitcoin SV, Nano, and a hundred more like it in its time.

Nano has a block creation time of 0.14 seconds and almost zero transaction cost. How much did that help this coin? What makes it different from DOGE is that DOGE has a media patron that pump this coin as much as it isn't worth it. It's a common litecoin fork, created in a playful way, no need to try to instill some technological qualities in meme-coin that will justify its growth in the future. This is an ordinary shitcoin, which has the mediocre qualities you listed, which many other projects have, and offering even better conditions for fast blocktimes + cheap transactions than DOGE.

Also, DOGE has never "lost 99% of its value," not even the most creative math in the world could make that statement correct.

Not yet, but the price was already down to a 93% loss in value. Not much left, if bitcoin goes deeper, then DOGE could reach that mark, maybe even below 1 cent.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check liquidity pool of altcoin tokens? on: July 10, 2022, 07:41:08 PM
Anyone can help?

A few recommendations on this topic.

1 - Don't look at high APYs, it's a trick to attract new liquidity providers. The higher the APY, the higher the probability of a scam or decrease in APY right before payouts.
2 - Staking on various unknown sites is best avoided. Contribute money to steaking only in known pools on known DEX, for example.
3 - Staking new projects, especially where the team is anonymous, is a rug pull risk.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about recently released OJA Coin (OJX) Blockchain.? on: July 10, 2022, 07:14:25 PM
It's another project that puts the advantages of speed, environmental friendliness, and cost-effective transactions at their fingertips. How many such projects have there already been? But this does not guarantee future success, because there are many such projects on the market. I've scoured some analytical sites and there is little information about this coin. It is not known where it is traded and who invests in it. As long as this project does not get proper attention from funds and large investors, no one will be interested in it, even if it is a million times more technologically advanced than its most popular counterparts.
2527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saylor thinks ETH post-merge on Proof-of-Stake is a security. on: July 10, 2022, 06:43:29 PM
I'm not sure about Proof-of-Stake being more secure, just as it would be more decentralized. Delegated PoS will clearly be to the detriment of those characteristics. Most likely after the merger ETH will face a number of problems related just to centralization and vulnerabilities, there are already quite a few analytical parses on this issue. I wonder, if you suggest to Saylor to transfer his favorite bitcoin to PoS, will he also say that it will be safe?  Roll Eyes
2528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E crypto - which ones are good and worth it? on: July 10, 2022, 06:24:20 PM
do you know any good projects where i don't have to invest any money and can earn crypto by playing (p2e)? im looking for such crypto projects. thanks in advance for good suggestions.
The hype that play to earn tokens and games generated is on the low side at the moment, so even if you could play for free some of those games you are not going to find many people that are interested in those games anymore, and if there is no interest coming from the community then those games will sooner or later fail, so I would not recommend to you that you invest your time in those tokens as I sincerely believe that you will just waste your time if you do so.

Yes, because in addition to the popularity of the project and the possibility of earning these tokens, you also need to consider the liquidity of these tokens. The project may promise to earn 1000 tokens a month for spending time in its game, and when the player gets them, he will certainly want to sell them, but will face the problem that either these tokens are not traded anywhere, or there is no demand for these tokens, but only one offer to sell. Bounty hunters who participated in questionable bounties faced a similar problem. Tokens were issued to them, as promised, but these tokens were left lying around in their wallets because there was nowhere to sell them.

Wink

2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: July 10, 2022, 05:54:16 PM
I can't say that DOGE has no real use, yet it is a favorite tool of exchange traders and judging by 2021, some companies began to add DOGE as a means of payment for their goods and services, although about adding a means of payment, I am not sure that it was not without the influence of tweets of Ilon Musk. After all, these tweets popularized DOGE in the crypto community. DOGE is now completely dependent on the sentiments of one man, in fact this project has become highly centralized, and once Musk stops paying so much attention to DOGE, it will very quickly return to the values that the project had before 2020.

At least there are signs of mainstream adoption increasing for the cryptocurrency. Things would've been worse if DOGE was only taken as a speculative investment. With inexpensive fees, and low market prices, Dogecoin becomes extremely useful for day-to-day payments. The pump was mainly driven by Elon Musk, but the coin could rise on its own if adoption continues to soar towards new levels.

Dogecoin is very old but with a strong foundation behind it. The community is still actively supporting the cryptocurrency, even though development progress has stalled (as far as I'm aware). Newer coins have fallen quickly because they lacked strong community backing. Who knows if DOGE gets to live alongside BTC and ETH for generations? Just my thoughts Grin

But it is not used so much anymore, because opportunities for inter-exchange arbitrage have fallen dramatically and many exchanges have introduced KYC. Earlier, in 2016-2018, crypto-assets prices had a bit bigger spread, personally from my observations and DOGE in this regard helped a lot to profit from this price difference, transferring value between exchanges. Now it has become much more difficult, so DOGE is increasingly shifting towards speculative use only. The project does not develop technically, though why be surprised, it is a fork, a common meme-coin, not a platform for smart contracts, for example. I once read that developers wanted to introduce DOGE staking, but now I'm more inclined to believe that it was just news for the sake of news, to whet the excitement to buy the coin.
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DOGE go back to sub $0.01 prices ever again? on: July 10, 2022, 05:47:38 PM
If the bear market has truly bottomed then I believe $1 per coin is a certainty in the next couple of years.

Roll Eyes This is an extremely optimistic hope. DOGE can grow up to 1 dollar if Musk continues to PR them as hard, though I must admit that the effect of his PR is not the same as before, because many people began to consider Musk a speculator and manipulator. Even if the price reaches this level, it will only be as a final pump before a prolonged fall. Because this coin has nothing behind it except speculation and Musk's support, it's a meme coin, no wonder. And something tells me that after DOGE reaches $1, token price will lose 99% of its value again.
2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit For Signature Campaign !!! on: July 09, 2022, 06:29:51 PM
What does this have to do with altcoins?

Signature campaigns don't give you any knowledge. But if you publish interesting and quality posts, you can get paid for it. So if you want to be a part of these campaigns, you should have already gathered some baggage of knowledge and practical experience in the crypto space that you can talk about in your posts.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E crypto - which ones are good and worth it? on: July 09, 2022, 05:37:40 PM
do you know any good projects where i don't have to invest any money and can earn crypto by playing (p2e)? im looking for such crypto projects. thanks in advance for good suggestions.

Without the initial investment to make money in P2E, as well as in M2E, it is almost unreal, and if there are such projects, it often turns out to be a scam. And now P2Es do not enjoy any popularity, and there is not the kind of activity that was in 2021. If you have a desire to earn on such models, then now on the rise M2E projects, the same StepN. But there is nothing to do there without an initial investment.
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I doing the right thing on: July 09, 2022, 04:45:18 PM
If you're not sure about investing in some altcoin projects or you're trying to find them with the help of forum comments, then I can definitely tell you that your optimal choice in investing is BTC and ETH. If you don't understand if these altcoins are worth investing, then you're not ready to invest, because you don't know the market and you don't have certain metrics by which you determine the prospects of such an altcoin. Where can you get such knowledge from? Certainly not here, in the comments to the post. Study more, then start investing, NOT the other way around.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading question on: July 09, 2022, 04:17:47 PM
Any short-term trading leads to losses in any market. If you use your leverage, you will go bankrupt faster. If you made money today, it means that other traders have lost them. I prefer investing and an interval of 6-24 months or more.

I would say that any trade on the altcoin market will sooner or later lead to losses and the shorter the timeframe in your trading strategy, the faster you will come to those losses. Is anyone trading altcoins with leverage? Those are some kind of kamikazes for sure. As you correctly point out, the best way to interact with altcoins is either medium-term investing, 3-6 months, or long-term investing, 1-2 years, tops.
2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 09, 2022, 03:56:16 PM
The market is very volatile in this month like a roller coaster movement, Is the roller coaster movement in the money market both the price of bitcoin & ethereum whale controlling it?

What bitcoin & ethereum price control are we talking about? Bitcoin & ethereum do not control anything in a bear market. They, like other assets, are also affected by the U.S. Federal Reserve's decisions to reduce inflation. Because of the outflow of liquidity, many markets, including the risky cryptocurrency market, are exposed to cash outflows and this leads to lower coin prices. We should wait for their hawkish policy to change to a dovish policy so that markets can start pumping up liquidity again.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 09, 2022, 03:52:41 PM
I am pretty far from being a millionaire, neither do i have that mindset of being a millionaire through cryptocurrency, quite a lot of people have the get-rich-quick mentality with crypto, and it has cost them quite a lot of losses, some they can't even ever recover from, i am a Bitcoin enthusiast, so i hardly have anything to do with altcoins, but what i have noticed is that it is altcoins that people purchase when they start to nurse that get-rich-quick mentality in their heart, mind you that altcoins are risky and aren't long term projects, thus you should sell when you have the opportunity to, especially when you have made ROI. I am not worried about Bitcoin making me a millionaire or anything of that sort, there are other ways i can achieve that goal in RL, i sincerely believe in the Bitcoin network, and that is part of the reason i put my funds in it.

Altcoins are more suitable for quick profits than long-term investments. Many altcoins obey trends, but people think trends will come back and their investments will rise again many, many times over. That's why would-be millionaires are buying up various cheap shitcoins like P2E, memcoins, NFT, etc. Although there are also some good examples in altcoin indsutry for long term investing where the price has gone up a lot in the last 4-5 years.

2539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with the market? on: July 05, 2022, 09:41:37 PM
To understand whether they are leaving or not, you need to look at their open or closed positions, not their tweets on social media. Certainly, some funds are ceasing to exist on the crypto radar due to heavy leverage. Perhaps the examples of funds you mentioned just wanted to restart their social networks or changed their development vector.
2540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: July 05, 2022, 09:21:01 PM
Guys, has anyone heard smth about Intelfin Group companies? I read the reviews, it seems fine. They work with crypto. The yield is around 13% per month. Their plans seem to be serious. They even do co-financing. I'm lost whether to try or not. I 'd be grateful for any info. Here's the firm’s link: https://intelfin.io/

First I read that it was 13% per annum, and then I saw that it was per month. It turns out to be 156% per annum. No serious, long-term business would ever give you that rate on your investment. This is either a ponzi scheme or a regular pyramid scheme that has a legend that they are in the business of investing in various financial markets. They have a mention on their website on the home page about an arbitrage bot that brings in 22.4% a month. Another tale to fool naive investors.
