2821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give Your Feedback About Bitcoin Today ? on: May 06, 2022, 10:11:30 PM
Bitcoin's value is now so low, what's the reason? give your feedback?

I think the reason is that bitcoin is in a kind of uncertainty right now because of global events in the world of politics and economics. I have heard different opinions, some say that for bitcoin the current events will have a positive effect and investors will start to invest in bitcoin. Others, on the contrary, say that the current events have a negative effect on bitcoin due to investors shifting their assets to gold and other safe havens. Also, the Fed meeting with its policy tightening is negatively affecting the bitcoin price. But if you are a long-term holder you can not worry about bitcoin price, it will rise in time when bears will retreat.
2822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How low can BTC go this time around on: May 06, 2022, 01:44:54 PM
The reason why people are able to buy BTC for 3500$ was because of the covid panic of 2020 if not I don't believe that BTC could ever get that cheap, now how low do you think BTC can get to in the next bear market? It will be stupid to expect BTC to get down to a very deep price range again.

I'm sure few people were able to buy bitcoins at the March fall because of the covid. The fact is that there was panic at the time and many were sure that the fall would continue. Most likely the whales, institutionalists and those who had insider information bought at those prices.

I don't believe bitcoin can ever get back to values like 3500 and below. Most likely the bottom will be somewhere around $24-$30,000.

P.S. This thread is for a different section, this is where altcoins are discussed.
2823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN on: May 06, 2022, 01:38:29 PM
A good investment if you are an early adopter or venture capitalist in such projects, but the very way of earning is more like a ponzi scheme and long-term investment in such projects can turn out to be a disaster. The idea itself is good for earning money and will probably be developed further, but you can not be sure that the project in its current form will also maintain interest at the same level and constantly attract new users. And without new users, this project will not survive, otherwise who will pay rewards?

If you decide to buy sneakers in this project and start earning tokens, it's a bad investment, especially now that the altcoin market is constantly tending downward and the value of these tokens is constantly dropping.
2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs SOL vs AVAX vs MATIC on: May 06, 2022, 01:18:06 PM
For me personally the worst is AVAX. ETH - nothing to say here, leader among blockchains, but not without flaws, SOL also has problems in speed, but the ecosystem is developing very rapidly, especially in the field of NFT, Polygon also showed excellent results both in price and ecosystem development.

AVAX has also grown in the last year and a half, but I don't often see it used in new projects, so it's less promising for me.
2825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance joins funding for Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter on: May 06, 2022, 01:11:13 PM
Everything that Binance touches, in terms of purchases, subsequently begins to work strangely. Remember CoinMarketCap, as soon as Binance bought it, it started showing false data and the service turned into a manipulative device working primarily for Binance interests. It's the same with Twitter. I think the purchases of such services will be used in further manipulation, because it is access to a multimillion-dollar audience.
2826  Local / Трейдеры / Re: Куда катится этот курс? on: May 05, 2022, 04:31:22 PM

2827  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: May 04, 2022, 01:30:47 PM
@Xal0lex, but the date on that article is April 11 (I can't confirm the year), but if we assume it's from 2022 then @Nerdy doctor couldn't copy from there. I found a source from April 3, and there are also deleted posts on Reddit dated April 20. Either way @worldtraveller321 has certainly plagiarized part of his post using this article.

Sorry, I didn't notice Wink Well, if you found the source from April 3, then Nerdy doctor still turns out to be to blame.

2828  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: May 04, 2022, 12:56:01 PM
No, it's much simpler. It's just that both of them (Nerdy doctor and worldtraveller321) copied without specifying the source / took/ stole (any choice) this text is from this source https://educationdoc.com/180/whats-preventing-bitcoin-from-worldwide-adoption

So both of them are to blame.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 03, 2022, 09:21:15 PM
What do you think about Mark Cuban’s idea to use dogecoin to fight spam on Twitter?

This is how they decided to artificially increase the demand for DOGE and speculate on the spam theme to make their users buy the coin. If this stupid decision is implemented, there will be a mass exodus of users. Who needs a paid social network where you have to pay for posting, anyway. I understand when the user gets paid for posting, but when it's the other way around, it's not worth it.

Immediately there will be someone who wants to poach dissatisfied users to his social network with similar characteristics to Twitter. Let Mark and Ilon communicate with themselves on their Twitter with such conditions.
2830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safuu continues to decline, what causes it? on: May 03, 2022, 08:55:07 PM
Hello guys,
We are all know that, Safuu is the most popular & successful project at the recent time. But suddenly Safuu continues to down. What is the reason?

What is your comment, recently released the price prediction of Safuu?

What? The most popular and successful project of all time? Well, that depends on what you compare it to. And actually it's not, at what point is Safuu the most successful?

I see the project only recently started trading on the market, at the end of March. I think this project may very well get squeezed now, as the altcoin market is collapsing, and new projects, after a little growth, often tend to renew their historical bottom.

I saw in the article that this project has a huge APY: 383,025.80%. Really? Where would such a huge interest payout come from in the first place? At the expense of what? Too untrue numbers that are usually inherent in all sorts of shitcoins.
2831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which utilities will survive the bear market on: May 03, 2022, 07:37:14 PM
This is scary, you have mentioned all the available use cases in the crypto space presently  Grin, some metaverse projects will still survive more than others because metaverse hype is not done for, I haven't even seen a fully completed metaverse project yet or have you? The moment this metaverse projects start leaving behind their BETA phase the hype will be back again.

Not all of them, but only the hype ones that have become the most discussed and popular over the past 1.5-2 years. For example, this list does not include exchange tokens, DeFi, native protocol tokens, etc. In the types of tokens I listed, a lot of useless garbage appeared in the last 1.5-2 years, which does not offer any good product. The same Metaverse will not all survive, because the competition is large, and there are very few projects that are ready to provide an original and high-quality product.
2832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about algorithmic stablecoin staking? on: May 02, 2022, 06:36:25 PM
That's what I was afraid of in staking these algorithmic stabelcoins, and that's the reduction of the interest rate. The initial 20% offered by Anchor was too tempting, but alas, it did not last long. Today the interest rate is lower, 18%, by the end of the month their interest will be even lower, around 15-16%. I assume it won't stop there and the rate will continue to drop to ~10%.

It has become clear that to maintain such a high rate for a long time will not work, as it is already becoming similar to a HYIP. As soon as there is less money and there is an outflow of funds, it is primarily reflected in the staking. It is common for all pools offering initially high interest rates.

Most likely, the same will apply to stablecoin USN and USDD staking.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which utilities will survive the bear market on: May 02, 2022, 06:05:15 PM
From this i find the launchpad, fan and metaverse tokens as the most advantageous on the long term because the market cares about continuity. Gamefi = p2e and it doesnt attract investors no more because it is becoming too much (same metrics) and the roi are never satisfying, how would such token behave in a bearish state ? With fan token, metaverse and launchpad token, you experience continuity and strenght

Launchpad tokens emerged amidst a venture capital hype in 2021, and now you can already see sluggish activity in this sector. Most of these launchpads will die and you should not expect them all to give you confidence in the long term.

Metaverses need to look at ivnestors, if the project entered serious funds at the stage of seed investment, it means there is a future for the project, even though the price can dump very much. This is done in order to kick out all casual investors and buy up as many coins as possible into a portfolio for future growth.

Fan tokens... what's the power and certainty in them in the long run? They are the same shitcoins as memcoins, as long as there is a hype, they are talked about, as soon as something worthwhile appears, they are immediately forgotten about. Although this is my subjective view of fan tokens, but personally I don't see anything good in the long term in them, simply because they have few utilitarian functions, just like meme-coins.
2834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: May 02, 2022, 04:58:48 PM
I think it can be taken simply as an opinion, but in no way investment advice. In fact, the projects he listed are really good, but I definitely can't agree with his opinion that these are the most promising altcoins. I would add Solana and LUNA here. Realistically, these ecosystems are growing very rapidly right now. Yes, they each have their own problems, but the amount of money they raise in their ecosystems makes you wonder about their growth and development prospects.

2836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi Lender Rari Capital hacked Offers $10M Bounty to Hacker on: May 01, 2022, 07:57:08 PM
Ever thought that these so called hacks could be the doing of companies or persons with smart contract audit services? I mean it's a win-win situation for them. They would look good if they investigate what happened and gain trust of the community while enjoying the money that was stolen.

We can't be 100% sure about any hack at all that has occurred in the crypto space. Simply because that is the nature of cryptocurrencies. I don't rule out the fact that some protocols or auditors could initiate a hack to appropriate all (or part) of the liquidity, and then just restart a similar project but with a different name. Exchanges that have been hacked could do the same thing. They could just steal funds and reopen under different names.

It's more like a conspiracy theory or something, but the fact is that DeFi is still a very wild environment for investors, even though it is decentralized, but the risks of decentralization seem to me to be much higher, because everything is built on smart contracts, which are riddled with vulnerabilities.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 01, 2022, 07:30:05 PM
It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.

Many altcoins have been bleeding for a long time and have been showing a steady decline for months. I think we have been in a bear market for about half a year now, because 2021 was a year of growth, projects gave good profits, like in 2017. Now it's profit-fixing time. Right now, I wouldn't invest in any new projects or projects that have already managed to grow multiple times. If bitcoin will push through 30,000 and falls below, altcoins will become very cheap.
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which utilities will survive the bear market on: May 01, 2022, 07:05:17 PM
The very first thing that will be at risk are all the 2021 trend tokens, namely:

- Launchpad tokens
- fan tokens
- meme tokens
- NFT tokens
- Metaverse tokens
- GameFi tokens
- P2E tokens

All of this needs to be cleaned up because the market is flooded with a huge amount of pacifier projects, copy projects, and other garbage whose goal is just to make quick money on investors. Most of the projects from the above areas will die in a full bear market and will never rise from the dead again. We all remember the story with most of the junk coin ICOs of the 2017-2018 period. The market needs another self-cleaning.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi Lender Rari Capital hacked Offers $10M Bounty to Hacker on: April 30, 2022, 09:36:45 PM
It's no surprise to me, DeFi break-ins happen almost every day. Here's another one. Again. Smart contracts are still extremely vulnerable, even if they have been audited 2-3 times by a major company. That means absolutely nothing. As they have been hacked, they are still being hacked.

I think the hacker gave up the bounty because he was focused specifically on finding a vulnerability that would bring him a good profit from his activities (we are talking about 70 million). It is a good thing that Polygon was able to negotiate with the hacker about the bounty, otherwise it would have been a very massive loss and possibly the death of the ecosystem.
2840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cold storage & Staking on: April 30, 2022, 09:07:00 PM
If only it were that simple. Simply put, it's impossible. Or do you think that staking rewards are being charged to you out of thin air? Staking is the provision of liquidity to a protocol, which earns on your provided liquidity and gives you a percentage of those earnings. That is, roughly speaking, you are giving away your money for rent.

Staking from cold storage is like trading on a centralised exchange, but keeping your money in a cold wallet Smiley
