2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: September 12, 2022, 07:35:47 PM
The crypto gaming industry has a great chance to grow a lot in the future. In 2021, the GameFi and Play-2-Earn projects showed impressive growth and gathered a large community. The main problem with these projects is that they sometimes have poor tokenomics and very little utility when the project interacts with some NFT tokens. The community doesn't see much utility in that, so projects have liquidity circulation problems. Players take more money out of the project than they contribute or at least reinvest. This causes the price of tokens to drop very quickly and interest among the core community to disappear. The industry is still at the very beginning of adopting.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 12, 2022, 07:33:21 PM
Gain some knowledge about cryptos and study how to read the charts.

This is not enough. You also need to learn how to calculate the tokenomics of a project, to know which funds or investors to watch out for. Know what to look out for when choosing a project. Find a good information field in crypto social networks, such as telegram, twitter, discord. All this knowledge will bring much more opportunities to make 7000 out of 100 bucks. Knowing how to read charts will bring almost nothing good, just like trading in general. Making money on the exchanges is almost unrealistic, especially with a measly hundred dollars. Or you'll have to take a lot of risk to get any interest on your micro capital.

2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 11, 2022, 08:59:47 PM
Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.

How can rug pull even apply to NFTs? NFT tokens are subjectively priced among collectors and do not have a common pool, like DeFi tokens. So I don't see how rug pull can be used in an NFT token. NFT uses another scam more appropriate for this kind of token, it's wash trading, where the user sells and buys his own token from himself to make it popular and in demand.
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you stake stablecoins now? on: September 11, 2022, 08:54:38 PM
Many investors loss much money when staking on UST as stable coin, offering higher APY reward than another stable coins make many investor most excited with Terra network stable coin than BUSD as Binance stable coins. I have another excited when staking coins because want to get higher return although with higher risk. I run staking with coins can give higher reward APY more than 500% although have to invest with meme or shit coin, but I run only few days later and close all staking and less risk with price drop.

Usually after one or two months later with coins staking give higher reward above 100% until 500% will drop drastically, what ever coins have listed on bigger exchange market keep potential drop drastically like AXS have been listed on Binance exchange market and have give above 75% APY reward for staking.

UST is an algorithmic stablecoin, which is the riskiest stablecoin of all. Such stablcoins have an extremely high risk of losing their peg to the dollar and are often accompanied by a complete collapse of the coin. This has happened to algorithmic stablecoins in Solana, Terra, and other blockchains.  So if we talk about investing in stablecoins, only classic ones should be considered, not exotics like UST, USDD, and other similar algorithmic stablecoins. They are extremely unreliable.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 11, 2022, 08:29:42 PM
Hi Fam, I am new to crypto investment and crypto mining, I have a plan in mind with this upcoming merge, just tell me if it's bad or not, I plan to sell all my bags after the merge because I believe there will be a massive sell off, and I will buy back at a lower price, is this making sense or not.

It will be like a lottery. No one knows exactly how ETH will behave after the merger. There's no sure sign that it will fall or rise sharply after the merger. Your plan of short-term speculation through the merger is too risky. Right now, ETH has already risen quite a bit, approaching the $1,800 mark, even though it was worth about $1,400 2 weeks ago. A classic case of the novice investor could happen. Either you will buy ETH and after that the price will go down, or when you sell it, it will go even higher. Smiley
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance released its BAB token on: September 11, 2022, 07:43:05 PM
actually this is the next trend of cryptocurrency and this will be a one of real utility of NFTs. these are things real crypto influencers waiting for .  soulbound allows holders to prove ownership over an item, real or digital. this will be used as method for certificate offering , graduate offering and more which are used as nfts in the real world. we are still early for this trend and we are still in 2022. in upcoming years and bull markets these tokens and projects which offers soulbound tokens will pump to sky highs.

Actually, there were enough of these NFTs released already in 2021 when NFTs had some real application: from confirmation of the right to buy some product in reality, to some tool to access a website or to perform some tasks on the Internet. I saw something similar on the Solana blockchain. This is the very application of NFT, just many people overlooked such properties and spoke only about the price, because the whole NFT industry is mired in trivial speculation and manipulation.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 11, 2022, 07:38:55 PM
hello I have seen the best profits to be made are in projects like shiba inu before it became huge or currently on BSC and ETH chain on new projects.

There have been People who with the help of bnb chain even turned 50$ into 150k$ in a months time.

Even if they made such profits with the help of such altcoins, it was definitely not with the help of trading. This also applies to Shiba Inu, where it was the holders, not the traders, who made big profits. Trading altcoins won't bring you much money. Most likely, with 99.999% probability you will lose money on speculation instead of earning it. Altcoins are better to hold, then the profit goals of x5, or e.g. x50, can become a reality. And with trading such goals usually remain just a pipe dream.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is web3 scam? on: September 10, 2022, 07:48:28 PM
In that case we can say that DeFi is scam, NFT is scam, Metaverse is scam, etc. Web3 is very popular among developers of new cryptocurrency projects. And where there is a hype, there are always plenty of scammers who want to get rich quick. It's always been like that, as soon as some technology appeared, there was always a wave of scams around it. Web3 has a development perspective, so this crypto-trend is definitely worth watching, but at the same time, more carefully check the projects that are trying to integrate this technology into their projects. Very often it happens that it is done only to attract money to the project and nothing else.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 10, 2022, 07:30:15 PM
At $30-35, it's not a bad price to start a long-term investment. Although there are a lot of contradictory opinions about Solana lately, this asset is still one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by capitalization. If you are willing to wait 2-3 years and not touch SOL in your portfolio, you could give it a try. Next bullrun Solana may try to update its ATH and finally launch a full-fledged network, not a beta version, which is still filled with a bunch of bugs.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects which can grow bigger in the next few years on: September 10, 2022, 06:56:56 PM
Let me know if you think any of the prpject will grow such bigger in next 3/4 years.
It is common psychology that trusting and investing in any new project is quite difficult, especially for common people. So I think any project you are optimistic about should invest a little bit.  According to me, the projects that can give good returns in the next few years are :

1. BTC
2. ETH
3. BNB
4. DOT
5. MATIC
6. BRISE
DYOR
your first 5 picks are my choice too. but I am not familiar with BRISE. never heard of this project before.

BRISE is poorly represented on CEX exchanges, so it does not have a very large distribution in the community. It is another DeFi project on the binance blockchain. It has a huge offering of 1 billiard tokens, half of which are already circulating. Reminds me of some memcoin offering. In my opinion, one should not expect any super profits from this project, and it is too brave and presumptuous to put it on a par with such cryptocurrencies as ETH, BTC and BNB.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Airdrop do you think will perform the best in future and Why? on: September 10, 2022, 06:50:43 PM
1. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) - https://www.bitcoincash.org
2. Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) - https://bitcoinsv.io
3. Bitcoin Gold (BTG) - https://bitcoingold.org
4. Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) - https://www.bitcoindiamond.org
5. Super Bitcoin (SBTC) - http://www.superbtc.org
6. Bitcoin Private (BTCP) - https://btcprivate.org
7. Mimble Wimble Coin (MWC) - https://www.mwc.mw
8. HEX Token (HEX) - https://hex.win
9. CPD Token (CPD) - https://cpdproject.com
10. Stellar Lumen (XLM) - https://www.stellar.org
11. Rhombus (RHOM) - https://rhom.com

Have I missed any? Please let me know. I'll add that in the list...

Weird question. The first 6 positions are bitcoin forks that you could get for storing bitcoin on a wallet or exchange. And what do projects like HEX, Stellar, etc. have to do with bitcoin airdrop? What is Rhombius? What is it, some unknown shitcoin or something? What does it have to do with bitcoin airdrop and its forks represented in the first half of the list? Just some random list of tokens that for some reason was placed in the bitcoin airdrop thread. It looks more like a hidden shilling of some next shitcoin.
2317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto has the highest potential?? on: September 09, 2022, 08:21:14 PM
Here is  the top 10 Cryptos with the highest potential to grow, can you suggest which is the game changer in 2023??

None. In 2023, the market will still be experiencing the effects of the crypto-winter that reigns through 2022. I'm not sure we can talk about any growth potential at all before bitcoin halves. The crypto industry needs to recover from serious price losses and it's not happening as quickly as we'd like. Maybe in 2023 some new big player will appear among altcoins, which will partially change the rules of the game, because bitcoin and ethereum will still remain on their previous positions.
No one really knows when the market will start to recover, and maybe this long term bear market will still be happening the following year and will continue to affect the crypto prices. However, if I’m gonna chose from OP’s list of potential coins, I’d still go for ethereum since it’s also as essential and influential like bitcoin. And if bitcoin price surges, then ethereum price too will definitely follow the path of bitcoin.

If bitcoin continues to rise, most altcoins will follow. Conversely, if bitcoin starts to fall, all altcoins will follow it. There is a lot of discussion around Ethereum right now about how the price will behave after the merger happens. It's not certain that the move to PoS will trigger a boom. Anything can happen, from community strikes to finding some critical bugs or vulnerabilities that can affect blockchain speed.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 09, 2022, 07:51:06 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

Of course it's possible. It's 70x profits and it's not the most unbelievable profits. Last year projects were giving their early investors 200-700x profits. These were so-called altcoin gems. In order to get such profits, some things have to work out well for the investor. He should find the project in time, he should get an early access to this project, he should get an allocation, wait for the release of the project on a known exchange and sell at the best possible price based on the bidding data. All this comes with experience, beginners are unlikely to be able to organize it all competently and correctly build their psychology in response to some events.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Queen! An Outlook Into UK's Crypto Ownership and NFTs Market. on: September 09, 2022, 07:15:30 PM
How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.

In general, no, but locally only negatively, because on the background of this news there are various speculations, in the form of NFT and DEX tokens, whose creators seek to capitalize on the hype around this news. People, under the impression, start investing in these useless tokens, which will very quickly turn into scams. The market starts to be flooded with fraudulent projects at that time. Of course it's not Queen's fault, but that's how this market works, so anything related to Queen's death should be avoided right away, because it's a scam.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala potential? on: September 09, 2022, 06:54:56 PM
Current market cap of only £300m, it has a lot of room to grow.

Only? That's already quite a lot to consider this token as a great long-term investment. Considering the fact that most of the supply is present in the market, the project has already attracted a large amount of finance and it is already listed on all major exchanges, you should not expect anything supernatural from it. As potential altcoin gems, it is worth to pay attention to projects which are not yet widespread on major exchanges, have a small supply and small capitalization, up to 15 million. Gala is definitely not one of those projects, investments in which will bring you tens of X's of profit.
