USDC in centralized finance and DAI in decentralized finance. In my opinion, these are now the least susceptible to the loss of dollar pegs of all the stablecoins. It is possible that this is what has influenced the outflow of funds from USDT and the influx of funds into USDC. DAI was the best performer in the stablecoin market during May's turmoil. The most unreliable stablecoins at the moment are the algorithmic ones. Until there is a time-tested security mechanism for these coins, it is definitely not worth considering this asset for the long term.

Loss of binding is already at 5.6%. I read that with a 10% or more loss of the peg, a cascade of liquidations could begin, which could lead to an even greater loss of the peg and a repeat of the unfortunate events with LUNA and UST. Right now, the margin traders who used stETH as collateral for their credit are the first ones at risk.

There is nothing permanent in the crypto space. Everything constant always turns into floating, because projects can't pay out rewards all the time regardless of their market condition. You can try looking for conditionally constant ways to make money, like staking long-established projects that give a real APY of around 5-7%, for example. This is better in the long run than projects which give e.g. 1000% APY at the start and then start cutting rates after a while. This is normal practice for attracting liquidity providers.

The first thing I always pay attention to in such projects is where tokens are sold. Selling unknown tokens on a newly created website is not trustworthy, it very often has the signs of a scam. Tokens purchased in this way do not guarantee in any way any value of this cryptocurrency in the future. Couldn't you find the funds to listing on some more or less well-known launchpad?

Very much like the shilling of the project in an attempt to advertise a new project, not an investment of a newcomer. The project site is some kind of slow, windows do not always open, and on the main page it says Tokonomics. I wonder, before launching all this, they checked the site for errors and performance?
If we talk about the project itself, now is not the best time to launch GameFi, the industry is going through bad times and the number of active users is constantly decreasing, there is no special influx in the industry, now if there are any cash inflows, they are concentrated around m2e projects, and the crypto game industry is now in a freeze.

On the OKEX exchange, it's a common case where they ask for additional data. I have encountered this myself several times. Usually it happens after some break between your sessions or frequent deposit/withdrawal operations with no trading activity.
In general, it is not clear who this option is intended for, because if I need a non-custodial wallet, I will create it outside the exchange. For convenience? But where maximum convenience, there tends to be less safety.

Real Gems rarely advertise openly at the start Token issue is just huge, why such huge amounts, it's better to conduct denomination and remove a few extra zeros, and it will affect the price too. Because tokens which price looks like that (for example 0.000000003670) very rarely succeed, except maybe shib with its big issue. In general, when you look at such projects, which have a huge issue, they do not inspire much trust.

What has changed so that the price of USDT stablecoin is less than one dollar and continues to be for about a month?
The reason, as in 2018, is that investors and traders are switching to the USDC on a large scale. This is evidenced by this data: Also, additional reasons could be the capitalization outflow from USDT and the massive sales of tokens on exchanges with the subsequent transition to other assets. Also you should not forget that now there is a big demand for USDT withdrawal, and USDT is not 100% secured with fiat money, this may create difficulties in funds withdrawal.

I highly doubt the merger will happen this year, how many times have the release dates been postponed already. If we talk about price, I expect ETH price to grow in the long term, even with PoS transition. At the moment, a lot of ETH coins are leaving exchange wallets. Investors prefer to keep ETH in cold wallets, though one can still assume that it goes to preparation for ETH staking.

Hi everyone, since the bear market is upon us is there any kind of staking that's good for a bear market or staking are generally bad in this type of market condition? Can be APY or APR, drop your earning strategy in this market condition.
Not looming, but reigning in for a long time. Staking in a bear cycle is only justified if you are providing into the staking coins that you already own and bought at a low price. If you try to buy steaking coins during a bear market, chances are good that while you are steaking those coins, their value will drop even more, and the interest you earn on the steaking will only cover the losses you incur because of the drop in the price. It makes no sense to chase high APYs, because high APYs don't last long and they also have very high fickle losses.

NFT hysteria is gone. When marketplaces were flooded with a pile of unnecessary NFT tokens, and famous collections were sold for fabulous money, it was all on a wave of hype, which ended along with the bull trend. Now NFT as a speculative asset, no one is interested because the industry is saturated with projects and their tokens, which were overpriced.
I think, in the future there will be only known and interesting projects, and all the junk that is more than 86% of the market will die out finally. There will be punks, ape boards, cryptokittys, etc., as well as famous collections of public people, but they will no longer be worth millions of dollars that they were originally asked for, because it's all a trivial crypto bubble that had to burst sooner or later.

And this is when you consider that only 6 or 7% of the population knows about cryptocurrency and only 1.5% of the world's investment capital is invested in the crypto industry. There is room to grow and develop, big capital and funds have started to turn their attention since 2020 and this attention is constantly growing. Also some large funds, which are known in traditional markets, are starting to look towards offering their clients to invest in cryptocurrencies. I hope that the next bull run will bring at least $7-10 trillion in capitalization to the crypto industry.

This coin has only been pumped once, when there was the last wave of growth, before the bear cycle began. The rest of the time this coin doesn't grow. There are much better coins for trading, especially the listing on only two, to put it mildly, not the best exchanges, where the liquidity is low, the trading volume is only $50,000. An experienced trader would never try to speculate on such a low liquidity coin.

What makes you think bitcoin is not regulated? Just because its founder is anonymous? I think you confuse the concepts of regulation and decentralization. Bitcoin has been regulated for a long time by most countries, legislation and tax regulations are in place, licenses for exchanges are being introduced, exchanges are introducing KYC, and the SEC is keeping a close eye on big companies that invest in bitcoin. So I wouldn't say bitcoin is unregulated, it is one of the regulated projects in the crypto industry.
