What is AutoBan and how does it differ from Permanent ban?
Does it work as the name implies? Which means no moderator bans you. Maybe the ban is triggered automatically by the system codes? If no, why is it called Autoban?

There are 2 types of bans.
Autobans. Isn't what it sounds like, it means someone pressed the ban button, but it's automatically carried out, as opposed to be manually entered. Though there is a mod or two running scripts because of the spammers. This results in the message You were banned by a forum moderator, email xxx. Both global mods and admins use this, so it isn't a guarantee it was a moderator, just more likely. I use autoban instead of manual bans for permanent bans because it's faster and more efficient. All bans in the modlog are autobans, and permanent.
Autobans ban the account involved only, you can still log in and do everything normally, just can't post or pm. It also adds units of evil to the IPs used, a new account created using these IPs will need to pay a fee. Units of evil increase with additional bans. Nuking is essentially an autoban+deletion of posts.
Manual bans are only available to admins, and are generally configured the same way as above, though it's possible to increase the scope of the ban to include things like registering from certain emails/providers, ips, subnets, hostnames, etc. Can also add multiple accounts to the same ban. It's also possible to prevent banned users from logging in at all using the banned account, this will prevent them from being able to read the forum and access pm's too though, so I rarely use it. These result in the customized reason for the ban+duration, insubstantial posts or whatever.

Does anyone know anything about the Cryptokreed exchange? I found this exchange strange, which lures users to itself with such questionable shenanigans in Discord. This is the notification I got in Discord that supposedly I was a winner of some sort of raffle they supposedly held in Discord.  The thing is, I had never heard of this exchange at all. Well, I was curious, the amount is pretty decent  I decided to register. After registration I was invited to deposit 0.01 BTC or 0.16 ETH, and then I will be able to receive my prize. This looks very suspicious, considering that such methods are often used by scammers, when to get one amount from exchange you have to deposit another amount to exchange. What do you think? |

Hopefully no more negative news triggering a panic to sell tokens/coins, last week we were shocked by the crash of FTX, one of the biggest exchanges at the moment which resulted in a whole panic.
We really don't know what will happen next, after FTX there are many fearing investors and traders who panic and create more downfall. Just like you said, hopefully nothing more will take place after that week and we will be able to see some good news back to recreate good market bounce, as of now, there are still chances that another fuds will show and weak holders will be shaken. Bitcoin is still not finding the right demand among buyers, which means the risk of bitcoin price and the whole market decline remains. There is still uncertainty and fear in the market. Now any negative news from some exchanges or large funds can provoke further fall. But if the market goes down, it means there is an opportunity to buy some coins cheaper. Now the good news would be if FTX announced that it is reopening, and some big investor, fund or other exchange would buy it. I wouldn't be surprised if Justin Sun bought the exchange. |

Fifty dollars this year looks too optimistic, just as optimistic as bitcoin reaching $40,000. It is unlikely to happen this year. Not so fast. I wouldn't expect an FTT price of more than $35 this year. Price recovery is not happening as fast as we want it to. Prices can only go down quickly. But all in all, I expect that by next bullrun, FTT token price might go over $100-$120, considering the fact that this exchange is now trying hard to take the lead among all centralized exchanges.
How quickly the situation has changed, even though not much time has passed. Now investing in FTT is as risky as investing in LUNA. At any moment, the token can lose its developer and community support, and quietly die among thousands of other tokens like it. FTX is bankrupt, and its former CEO is also bankrupt. Metamask introduced a beta version of Portfolio dApp more than a month ago. It's a pretty interesting service that provides information on all the wallets you have in Metamaske at once. Not only that, but it also displays all the tokens you have from all the connected networks in Metamask at the same time. Matic is already known to be a good coin. It can solve the most common problem here in crypto which was the high fees and then the slow speed of transactions. This is why despite of the long bear, matic's value was still spotted on the rise even before this news came but for sure this can improve the momentum of matic. An active team is one of the keys for the coin's success and many investors check this out. This could give them confidence that any problems the coin experience will always be solved eventually. Many are saying that nft's are over but it seems they are all wrong because big social media platforms are yet to adopt it. I don't see an issue with it since it will help people to know crypto later on, if they haven't yet. What I like about Polygon is that when interacting with NFT, there are very low fees. When you withdraw Matic to your wallets from CEX, there are also extremely low withdrawal limits and commissions. If you compare with other networks, such as BSC or ETH, where the commissions are many times higher and the limits are higher, the Polygon network looks much more attractive to NFT. Hopefully, in the future, these networks will develop more and developers will choose them for deployment of their products. I don't want to pay 3-5$ in ETH network to make NFT mint at all, but developers go to these networks because of their former popularity. Perhaps in the future the balance of power in the blockchain arena will change. |
