About 400-500k are mined roughly judging from the block height and award.

Dual mining monero and something else?HuhHuhHuhHuh

Yeah you can, as far as I know only minergate has merged mining pools with monero, but they don't seem to have decent reputation, word is they're running a botnet, skimming shares and general dickery.

Anyway, is anyone mining with this miner along with a cpu miner? I get massive hashrate drop on the gpu miner if I start to cpu mine, it seems that claymore's miner offloads some work to the cpu. I have another rig where I use ccminer and stark's miner to gpu and cpu mine without any hashrate loss. I tried playing with process priorities to no avail.

Whats the difference between starting difficulty 100, 5000 and 20000? Which one and why  should I choose if I have 2*1080+2*1080ti ?

20000 diff for that hardware, you don't want to keep spamming the pool with low diff shares, higher diff shares are credited more and you lose less hashrate by submitting less often that way you don't get rejects because you've submitted shares for a block that was already found. Ideally you don't want your hardware to take too long to submit shares especially if you're paid only for blocks you've worked on but you also don't want to submit too fast getting a lot of rejects.

Not mining with ssl has its advantages though, like editing the mining.submit() request on the fly replacing the dev address/worker with your own and steal his fees Cheesy

Yeah I am not a fan of Windows either and how they have a monopoly over everything.

However it's not like that, the drivers can be installed on Linux even manually, there are plenty of tutorials out there how to.

On the otherh and I have bought a brand new laptop for my wife last month and I put a Linux Mint on it, and it worked like magic. It had a state of the art video card in it, and the Linux distro had all drivers for it by default.

So most linux distros come with dirvers on it.

If you want to be efficient though, you might want to use a basic OS for it that is command line only and install the drivers manually on it. It will be hard work, but it will be more efficient mining.
You can't manually install drivers that do not exist https://betanews.com/2015/11/24/amd-kills-gpu/ Crimson drivers hosed ubuntu, old drivers won't install on new kernel, solution would be to run old ubuntu with beta catalyst like I did 4 years ago, but then I'll have trouble compiling miners to satisfy newer dependencies, so may as well just use windows and eat the bloatware Cheesy

sweet!

I really hope you have it downvolted! my 7990 runs at 1 volt, compared to 1,2 stock. Watching your temps, I can almost asume u have it downvolted.. Wink
Yeah of course, I have them with edited bios at 1050, had them on linux for years until two died then retired this rig until a buddy of mine had a go at resoldering the chips took him a week but managed to bring them back to life.

Why are your guys mining on Windows? It's a bloated shit.

Get some basic Linux OS, possible a command line OS and dont run any other apps while mining. Why waste computer resources on useless background shit.

Only have the miner running.

Yeah I know what you're saying, however I failed to find appropriate drivers on ubuntu that worked for these old cards as amd stopped support for them. Wasn't too happy with windows 10 but at least it works.

I don't understand. Isn't there like a command line based miner like for console based linux only, or DOS even.

The drivers can be installed from the manufacturer's website even to linux. In most Linux distros they come shipped with the kernel.

Yeah in an ideal world, in the real world you download the official drivers from the manufacturer's website, you select linux, you ./run-their-binary reboot and end up with hosed installation. And the OEM is like;

Uhm I just noticed there is no payment id, how are exchanges going to handle deposits if they only get one static ip? Surely they wont have to run a wallet for each user?

I get "Embedded Monero version: v0.10.3.1-560-g02e5dcd2" in the GUI wallet at debug info, but I just downloaded 11 is this just cosmetic any way to verify I run 11?

Well that's what you get for not having the god given language locale set as default on your windows machine.

Give it a shot with some disk recovery program slight chance you may be able to recover it.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 11, 2017, 06:25:11 PM
Hello guys. I have a problem with building rig with 6 1080 Ti on Motherboard Asus prime H270 plus.
Could you please give me a hand with it.

Whats the issue?

When I connect 3 or more cards and start miner. The PC just restarts. Or driver crashes.
Thanks in advance.

seems a psu problem, check the power of your psu

First I had a server PSU hp on 2450 W. I thought the same. I bought Corsair 1200W for running 3-4 cards. But the same issue. So I think PSU is ok.
Did somebody work with this Mobo?

Could be a bad riser, bad cables, who knows, remove all but one card, test, add another test, add another test until it crashes, if it crashes switch cards to make sure it's not a card that is acting up, replace risers cables reseat pci cables, you got work cut out for you.

HELP!!!!!

Yesterday I installed a purse on the computer desktop. I ran it with the help of the administrator. and began to mine to his address. today I launch a purse, it starts up as a new one with a completely different address and my coins do not.

where can I find an old purse and return the coins?
Do you get different address when you launch the wallet as administrator or regular user?

as an administrator.
as a normal user wallet does not start. writes the error "the wallet is already running"

Search everywhere for Iridiumwallet.wallet hidden dirs the lot. What windows is this? If you can't find the Iridiumwallet.wallet file with your coins you're shit out of luck my friend.
The default location is %APPDATA%\Iridium no idea what the %appdata% directory for administrator is, windows ain't my cup of tea.

hello!!! thank you for explanation! What you have said, I am agreed with that. btw, I hope this coin will do very good in future. But there are some other factors too. If only miners hold all of the coins, then it won't do any good. Every coin needs some investors who will collect coins from miners and decide the price in future. If a coin doesn't get any investor, it will die slowly. I highly support Iridium project. That's why I want to buy all coins from those miners who will dump as soon as it get listed on exchanges. And mining on nicehash is quite complex. That's why I want to use my money to buy it, not mining it. Also, if a miner sells at higher rate than nicehash, then he may buy more hashpower with the profit and get more coins.

You highly support the coin hu?.... I will sell you 1,000 IRD for 46,786,000 Satoshi. That's an amazing deal at $2.00 USD per IRD. Deal?  Wink

I'll take them if you include 5 highend GPUs Tongue

BETA BLOCK EXPLORER
https://explorer.mine77.net/

It's very simple (I'm a back-end dev, not a front-end dev!) and still lacks some important functionality like browsing transactions, but I wanted to get out an early version to review for accuracy.
