If USD tether issues more fake coins again, sure we might even see 10k a lot sooner.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 10, 2017, 01:20:05 PM
Geez things change quickly in the cryptoworld. Last week BCH was dead, this week it's the real BTC. Next week what?
Some ETH token named Bitcoin something token will be the "real bitcoin" of course.
I kinda do admire chinese miners mining bitcoin to dump for bch, but their little game is not sustainable.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 10, 2017, 12:34:31 PM
Am I going crazy or it says [XMR] Monero Speculation in the Subject line of this topic? What's up with these chinese bitcoin posts?
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 on: November 10, 2017, 09:40:59 AM
I just wanted to add that I'm suffering issues with Pitcairn based cards (270/270X), they seem fine on 10.2 but get incorrect shares, on 9.7 they are fine but hash slower and run hotter. As they are part of other mixed rigs I've just run them on 10.2 anyway but I'd rather not be wasting shares. I am at the stage now where all my spare cards are in use, I could deal with losing a bit of hashrate if they run cooler and stable on 10.2. The obvious solution is to buy newer RX cards but why waste what is still a very powerful piece of hardware and I'm not convinced that long-term buying more cards now is a smart move - I also found RX cards present their own issues.

If anyone has a temporary fix for Pitcairn cards please post it (other than using 9.7), I was looking at other miners but Claymore just seems simple, stable and easy to configure.
Try xmr-stark-amd and sgminer
605  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 10, 2017, 08:32:24 AM
Guys I'd like to transfer some BTC I've on Cryptopia to Freebit.co.in but I would like to avoid to burn 0.00100000 BTC on the crazy Cryptopia withdraw fee, we'are working on breadcrumbs of bitcoins here, 100K satoshis it's a lot of coins to put togheter up again.

Any method you can suggest to bypass or reduce this crazy fee? I thought on passing via DOGE or LTC and Coinpot, but due to the non optimal conversion rates of Coinpot it's still a big loss, way worst than the Cryptopia fee.

Any idea on how to do this?

What about choosing slow payment option for 400sats?

I don't see that kind of option on Cryptopia exchange, from where I can choose that? It would be perfect 400sats.
There isn't, your best bet is to find a slight arbitrage opportunity, for example buy some altcoin at 20 sats and be able to sell it at 20 sats on coinexchange.io which has a more acceptable 0.0005 withdrawal fee.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: November 09, 2017, 08:47:03 PM
Wow, is mymonero not safe? How did people end up losing it?
That makes me real worried now, dang

The issue isn't with MyMonero itself. The service never sees your private key and thus can't steal your coins. The danger is if you misspell the domain you might end up on a scam site that looks like the real one, only it steals your key and empties your wallet. Also, if you log into MyMonero from a malware infected computer your private key could be logged as well.

Basically, typing your private key onto an internet-connected machine will always carry risks.

This and or accessing anything for a phone.

Ill also add never ever use a free wireless. Or even avoid wireless that's not secure.

The thing is you never know if its the real wifi or a person with a laptop impersonating the wifi. So you join, log into banking and boom they can capture your session and carry it on when you log out.

Hotels etc. its all the same the wifi name hotel guest wifi might well be just some guy snooping for suckers.

There's a crazy motherfucker out there saying that NO WIFI is safe...

Why crazy? He sounds quite lucid and sane to me.

ok, i thought it was a serious discussion ahha

i hold big on btx, but i would like to know the answers. Always better to find first the negative sides than the positive when you invest Grin

Waiting for someone that answer at this " larger blocks means bigger blockchain, that means less nodes, that means less security"
Larger blocks don't mean necessary a "much" larger blockchain. The thing taking moste space in the blockchain are the transactions and therefore the hashes.
There are many pros and cons on this matter and I'm not going to lay them all out for you. Read yourself:
https://www.google.de/search?q=why+no+bigger+blocksize&rlz=1C1CHBF_deDE769DE770&oq=why+no+bigger+blocksize&aqs=chrome..69i57.4718j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
IMHO short: Bigger blocksizes like 20MB are worth it because atm there's just no other option (at least basing on bitcoins blockchain design) to handle enough transactions to compete with anything near RL Use Cases regarding # of transactions per time.
Your point is pointless, you "need" larger blocks to process more transactions, if you have 20MB blocks but only 50 kbytes of transactions per block your 20MB block size is useless, but sure the block chain wont be any bigger than if you had 50 kbytes blocks. It is a block size LIMIT and if you never even come near the limit the limit is pointless.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SegWit2x Fork [B2X] Got Cancelled on: November 08, 2017, 10:12:14 PM
This is a great news. But why is it cancelled? And can't find any info about what is the reason behind this sudden cancellation?
How about you go back to the first page and click on the link in the very first post. And actually READ.

The difference between Bitcore and Bitcoin is only the block size?
larger blocks means less security, that's why bitcoin keep the block size low.. am i wrong in something?
Wrong about everything actually. Plenty of differences between BTX and BTC, larger blocks means more disk usage for full node operators in exchange for more transactions per block meaning lower fees. Has nothing to do with security.

but larger blocks means bigger blockchain, that means less nodes, that means less security..
There is a reson why bitcoin does not enlarge the block size, no?
Yes because it's a stupid trade off, does not scale well at all.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 on: November 08, 2017, 09:50:40 PM
Hi! I have a problem after I start the miner with what I can say are the right settings, but when I launch it, I get a red error code. The code says:
UNKNOWN OPTION -u
UNKNOWN OPTION My username
UNKNOWN OPTION -p
UNKNOWN OPTION my password

What do you suggest I should do?

615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 08, 2017, 08:12:41 PM
Do you try to use 1080Ti to mine some BTX, this coin is promising and it has special algorithm for GPU mining.

It's profitable and has a hashrate about 22M

I recommend to mine this coins by your 1080Ti
32M actually

What miner are you using to get 32 hashrate?  I am at 80% PL and only getting about 24-25

ccminer sp mod 2
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SegWit2x Fork [B2X] Got Cancelled on: November 08, 2017, 08:08:55 PM
Bet those people who bought B2X futures feel pretty fucking stupid now. HAHA!

I don't really quite understand why someone would buy B2X before the fork. In fact I don't understand why someone would even buy B2X. The sole porpuse is to dump the airdrop on the market just like the other Bitcoin clones in the past.

Tip: Don't buy Bitcoin clones ever again!

Especially not Bitcoin clone futures, I mean come on, why was it listed in the first place? Same goes with BTG, they're on test net for a week now yet the futures get traded. People are fucking stupid.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 08, 2017, 08:06:23 PM
Your "ANALysis" was proved wrong, doesn't take much to go through your past posts and see that. If anything you're just butthurt now for losing so much from shorting. Oh well I'd give you some lube, but I like you to suffer.

Did it fall below 0.02? YES. Did it broke 0.016? It did. Did it touched 0.01 ? IT DID. Was it at the edge of knife at 85 USD? IT WAS. Will it reach 0.02 ? Probably will. Will it fall down then ? Probably WILL. Moronero. So Moronero tell me HOW MUCH you made in that time?

Moronero is the WORST behaving coin of LAST year. Except BTC. Only alphabay was some sort of breakup of price. Otherwise more made on ETH, LTC, DASH. noMore is Long crap. But for shorting against BTC? Beautiful.
You said none of those things, let me refresh your memory as you're clearly a schizophrenic that constructs its own reality

You should consider changing the noMores to Dash or ETH or sth like that. They will perform a lot better than this crap on the alt rebounce.

Remember : 0.01 will not hold -> doom at 0.006

Analitical troll as you describe me Is Fucking RIGHT. One leg to 0.01. if 0.01 does not hold then 0.006 happens soon. Prediction of total fall is sure for 70%. Any bigger bounceback upto 0.02. Only after it breaks 0.015 from bottom for good otherwise 0.006 and maybe then will be good time to buy. MAYBE cause who knows when shit hits the fan. Looks like even news like bithumb was sold and made shit of monero. Only one and good news was the AlphaBay acceptance. But now AlphaBay does not exist and so starts to happen to nomore.

How do you fell moroneros sitting with hot potato ShortMeMore? Do you have fried hands already?  Or you cant read me cause i am fucking god damn right? Noone except me shorted to Btc at 0.02 lvls? Not even at 0.016? Noone? Is here so many stupid faithfull belivers wearing a hot suit of ShortMeMore?

Is is speculation thread or ShortMeMore mental support thread for Nomore priests? How do you love to miss opportunities?

Reading this thread i noticed even Pope FluffyPope cant hold mentaly the situation that efforts of NoMore propaganda is total shit. Just look at price. Scam to the core. But this made great opportunity to short this NOMORE AND god said it was good.
You priests still there beliving and making choices after your feelings? How do you fell walking at the total USD edge? You love the USD price and it is on the edge for 1,5 month now reaching the trendline edge. 60 USD is near. The same is with BTC price. 0.01 this week. I am for 65% sure 0.01 will not hodl and 0.006 will be seen before btc fork. Then i bet bad things happen to BTC and the price will surge a lotdown. This will bring all alts down a lot more than you think. But be there... belive. You are good food form my shorting strategy.

Did I mention that masses does not price privacy? Did i mention that masses price SECURITY? Masses sell their privacy for security and that is the answer I discovered when I was wondering why this noMore is sitting at its value in BTC. Answer is that noMore is not technologicaly advanced comparing to other major alts and privacy it is marketing is total bullshit to masses... Masses does not want privacy they want fast and secure value transfers. noMore is not focused at it. That is why it is shit. Privacy is not priced... Ask your neighbour - "if you have nothing to hide, why to hide?" - regular answer.

So yeah, not only were you wrong, you also have a mental disease, I can't help you with that you should seek professional help.

619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BCH and BTC merged mining? on: November 08, 2017, 07:53:51 PM
How come BCH and BTC aren't being merge mined? Is it technically impossible?
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 08, 2017, 07:49:25 PM

the future is looking very bright for monero, put on your sun glasses guys  Cool

Interesting set of words coming out of Moon Man, but I agree to some degree and would like to quote gicafranaru from reddit
"...most of the people hiding money in tax heaves do so to avoid paying somewhere around 10-50% tax on their money. No sane rich person would put all his hidden money in cryptocurrencies for now, the volatility risk is way bigger than the tax they would have to pay in their home country. Cryptocurrencies will be considered as alternatives when they mature, and volatility will drop to an accepted level of risk."

So we still have a hill to climb. Another good one for this occasion: "We are on top of the mountain and we are only half way there".

Considerating that the crypto volatility tends to be like plus 100% every 4 months I can see this process self sustanly accelerating. So letīs say they only try with 1% of his hidden money at the beginning. Crypto also has this natural addictive property and snowball effect.

If you consider as well that global economy is about to totally and catastrophically collapse sometime in the coming 24 to 48 months it seems like we have the perfect storm ahead

Someone here said i made meme analysis. But when it is good meme analisis is it good meme analisis ? LOL cryptohypocrite community. Your hands gonna hurt when falling knives will cut Smiley
Go ahead, short Monero now, I dare you. The only people getting slaughtered by knifes now are shorters. And you're still just a useless troll.
