741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Iridium - People are Power - PoW - No Premine - Community Built on: October 24, 2017, 12:30:51 PM
All I see lately is complaning guys  Smiley Its a communnity based coin we as a community are the ones who are responsible for the future of the coin not just the dev  Angry Man up and start acting insted of talking... the only thing u do is complain and put pressure on the team thats working for the future of this coin, just like a little kids do.. If u want something work for it ffs pardon my laungeg..But Im guessing most of yall are 18 or older - fully grown.. If so start acting like grown ups  Angry I dont know the current dev sitiuation as well but I dont come up with rumors of the dev being hacked or some othere bs... Thats just disrespectful twords the people who are invested in this project like the owner of mine77 + Windozxpert... Its like u dont trust them with the well being of the coin while they are trying to do almost everything on their own... Huh This is literally disgusting behavior...

It's not a rumor, even Windozxpert confirmed someone posted, I'm 100% for sure it was the devs account, I tripled checked...
Oh well, it's gone now, but yes, I look forward for good future for this coin!!

I saw the post as well, for what its worth. I always found it fishy that he allegedly used his mining address for donations, like there isn't enough entropy on his wallet to generate a dedicated address for donations.

743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Gold hard fork has happened on: October 24, 2017, 11:38:53 AM
They don't even have a working wallet with replay protection, why the fuck would you buy it on exchanges?

That's just speculation by some traders to make more money.
No one is giving that coin any credibility.
But to make more Bitcoin or money, and that's what traders wanna do, this coin will get some attention, at least for some short term while.

The hype is causing these high trading numbers but as soon as people are done selling their free coins the coin will collapse.

I think it will be worse. They'll prevent people from claiming their BTG by not releasing the wallet. Pump the price and dump their premine before everyone else gets to claim.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 24, 2017, 11:35:58 AM
oh boy, wouldn't have thought that the market reacts as predicted by everyone. broke my golden rule and touched my btc stash yesterday to purchase at ~ 0.014 and it already worked out pretty well

Well if it looks like a horse and if it smells like a horse, it most likely is a horse. I bought back as well at 0.014 along with my other alts after the snapshot. Bitcoin took a punch though but at least I'm not at a huge loss assuming alts will recover from now on.
What pisses me off is BTG appears to be an amateur project destined to fail, I highly doubt they'll even release a working wallet where you can safely claim from cold storage.

746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you guys keep track of all your cryptocurrency investments? on: October 24, 2017, 10:59:56 AM
I let my bots keep track of things and move my positions if needed. It's quite tedious to keep track of pricing manually.
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 24, 2017, 10:55:50 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Don't invest all your money. Even if cryptos are the future in my opinion. My strategy -50% Bitcoin, -50% Ether und then support some promising ICOs with some of your Ether. Good Luck!!  Smiley

50% and 50% is 100% and you just said don't invest all your money. You know how percentages work right?

That would be an excellent workaround, but I prefer using the +100 RP bonus the next day to stay on the loop and get back to the 1000% asap Grin

Indeed, and if you play more than 12 times a day, you should always target the "100RP" bonus even before the "1000% free btc". Only activate the "1000% free btc" bonus when you can have both at the same time (ie: at 4400 reward points).

Question is would you get more BTC by redeeming +100k RPs or "wasting" the RPs for 1000% bonus.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 24, 2017, 10:23:30 AM
No wallet, no replay protection, 100k premine. Where do I sign up?

they are working on wallet, it will be probably ready on 1st nov, they have 2 replay protections ready to implement, they have lowered the premine amount

Yeah I highly doubt they will deliver, they're a bunch of amateurs.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 24, 2017, 10:05:04 AM

Everybody talk about hashrate but nobody said about power consumption. There was experiments with liquid nitrogen cooling on the forum with great hashrate of 1070 or 1080Ti on Ethash but power consumtion was really huge. Of course it's could be possible to get that hashrate but is it reasonable?

yes, of course power consumption is important, but my point is - the current miner software is not optimized for 1080ti for it fast but with huge latency memory speeds. if you compare hashrates in other algos you will notice, that single 1080ti is equivalent to a pair of 1070.
so I think this is possible to equihash algo as well. that is why 1080ti's optimized driver should push about 900-1000sols instead of 750sols!

10btc is the crazy price of course, but I would consider 0.1-0.2 btc as a reasonable price for such improvement

I would immediately pay 1 btc for such thing, 0.1-0.2 is almost worth for a guy with 2 cards...

You suck at math.
751  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 24, 2017, 10:03:34 AM
I tested mining a few days ago and 500 000 hashes earned me 114 satoshis, so 1 million hashes should result in about 230 satoshis. However please note that this number may vary a lot from day to day depending on the value of Bitcoin and Monero. You will earn more satoshis when Monero's price increases in respect to Bitcoin and vice versa.

Hmm. Can you please explain me how does monero is connected with BTC? How they influence on each other?
They get traded on exchanges.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining bitcoin gold on: October 24, 2017, 09:46:00 AM
There isn't a working wallet let alone pool. BTG looks like a failed project.
753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 24, 2017, 09:34:35 AM
I have some magic beans if you want to buy.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Mining on: October 24, 2017, 08:45:52 AM
So, is the mining started yet?
NO!! say that it starts on November 1, maybe later
but i'm still I think that this is a failed campaign

We'd be lucky to see a working wallet to claim our 1:1 BTG by then. All BTG has accomplished up until now is crashing the alts.
755  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 24, 2017, 08:43:20 AM

Thank you for your prompt response! But I thinks there is a small misunderstanding Cheesy
I mean how much BTC I get for how much hashes mined be me?
For example: if 1000 hashes mined - 1 btc; if 10000 hashes - 10 btc etc.  (in other words I want to know the rewards for mined hashes)

Can I check such info somwhere??

It's not a set amount earned, but I think someone found that overnight mining at like 80% gave 200 satoshi? I could be wrong but it's a few pages back in this thread somewhere...

hmm, i think it should not depend on percentage of power and on time.. I thinks it depends on "hashes solved".
Can admins reveal the amount earned for hashes?

Or anybody else made any investigations?

0.000145 XMR per 1M hashes or at today's XRM rate 0.0000022 BTC per 1 million hashes.

Thanks! Is it your investigation? Or what's the source of your numbers?
coin-hive.info and wetsuit's word that all mining profits go to users.

Shit coin or not it's going to be a bloodbath tomorrow on the alt coin market partly because of it.

760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 23, 2017, 03:04:51 PM
I wonder if there would be optimized miner for equihash for 1080ti?
cause this is really will help to pump the hash rate - usually we can assume that one 1080ti is equivalent of two 1070s.
one 1070 pushes 450 h/s in ZEC, so 1080ti should do about 900 h/s, but in reality 750-770 h/s, so we have potential for 20% imporval..

I wonder who can do that?
I would say that there is one already but its private version, there are rumors about 1200 sols on 1080ti...

holly-molly! how it is even possible? I thought maximum achievable could be 900 sols, ok, a 1000sols, but like 1200 sols this is a very unbelievable
is it for sale? very interesting, can you give me a direction where to start? I want to contact the author and ask all details from the source!

Liquid nitrogen is far more expensive than electricity.
