Should add a checkbox to Mixing on Monero. And trivialities like tor integration is nothing to be bragged about, what about fungibility?
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 12, 2017, 01:50:43 PM
$87 seems to be the magic number these past few days.

Hello, guys!
What do you think about upcoming hard forkes?
Are you going to leave your funds on freebitco to get new forks? Is freebitco worth to trust
for getting new forks? How was the situation with bitcoin cash?

Freebitco handled bitcoin cash quite well, not worried at all.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 11, 2017, 10:19:45 PM
BTC rose. . . alts didn't reach new lows as they had been. . . Pattern broken

People sold their alts and bought BTC expecting free moneyz after the fork... simple as that...

Same as the time before. It will return to ‘normal’.

Well I sure be buying alts with my free fork money.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 on: October 11, 2017, 10:11:39 PM
Anyone have any configs for the AMD Tahiti's? (7950/ 7970/ 280x)?

Seems that the speed is identical to the older Claymore version.

And profitability seems identical between ZEC and XMR. However XMR might pull less power.
Just try to add an -dmem 1 option. It can increese speed.

I did, doesn't do much. Exact same speed as Version 9.7

Using drivers 15.12

Same here on my 7990s

Building a nice ramp for 18'th december 2017  Grin

What's happening 12/18/2017?

Yea I am interested this too.

Globees Monero Shopify integration? Does anybody know?

Would hope Globee news is before Dec 18th...one of the goals was to be ready for the holiday season, which is just about over at that point

I'm afraid fluffypony will waste all of the donations on chicken nuggets
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 11, 2017, 04:58:41 PM
Anonymous coins are future ! Monero is proven but there is big competition which will lower Moneros price like $ONION $PIVX and Verge

Verge = Bitcoin v6 + Compromised TOR. ("wraith protocol" besides being the most cringey thing I've ever witnessed, is a poorly implemented version of stealth addresses)
PivX = Dash clone, shit version of coinjoin + (not yet developed) trusted setup starks.
Onion = Worse than verge, if there is such a thing.

I hope you're trolling or bag holding and dont actually mean what you wrote, because if you do, you need to do more research.

If you don't understand the technical aspects of these things we can help teach you in simple language.

Hey, at least he didn't say zcash, or any of the other derivations.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: October 11, 2017, 04:28:55 PM
Hi, for join the airdrop in November can i connect my BTC accounts from exchangers?
There is a minimum ammount of BTC that you must hold? Huh

Exchanges would either have to sign a message with your BTC address or send small amount FROM that address in order to claim your GBs. But that's highly unlikely to happen. There is no minimum you get 0.00625 GB for each BTC you hold on Nov 4th.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 on: October 11, 2017, 11:26:47 AM
Claymore!  You're so quiet, buddy!  Care to give us an update?

that greedy asshole is to busy spending the money he earned of us.

Drunk lonely trolls are drunk and lonely.

I think that is just a joke. not too serious.

Conveying sarcasm over the internet is the most difficult thing a man can do, you can never be sure if serious or not.

872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PLAYKEY: DECENTRALIZED CLOUD GAMING PLATFORM on: October 11, 2017, 10:24:59 AM

Can anyone explain to me why experts believe the future of gaming is in the cloud? Thank you Smiley

YOu wont need to get expensive hardware to play games. Even in the west i think a lot more people would play games if they dont need to get hardware. Imagine all the poorer countries where
they cant afford the hardware, so are excluded from better games

The problem will be the latence, hard to know how they'll correct this in the future.

I know gamers that still use PS/2 keyboards over usb or wireless because they have few ms less input lag.

the problem will be corrected with access to faster internet, which will happen sooner or later.

The interface does not need to be fast, it needs to be responsive, at best you get to have 50ms over optic, which is horrendous when it comes to key presses.

Just pointing out what you're doing bro. If you're going to be a asshole, you think you'd realize people don't like asshole and they aren't going to take kindly to it. Just a FYI. Although your parents probably put up with all of your shit, that doesn't mean everyone else is going to. At least bother to read a couple pages of the thread before posting in it.

You haven't pointed anything, just called me an asshole and a dumbass. So who's the asshole again?

"garytheasshole", although I appreciate you attempting to try and turn this around. Assholes don't make me feel guilt. Also spend a tiny bit of time and energy in actually trying to learn about what you're talking about instead of dumping it all into making dumb comments.

I'd like to be called an asshole and dumbass where it is due, not out of the blue for no apparent reason. It only takes tiny bit of time and energy to click the quote button and say, look Gary because you said so and so you're an asshole and a dumbass. Otherwise you're just insulting me out of the blue. I'm not trying to turn the tables on anything, it is just how it happened.

Playkey is working with recognizable gaming corporations such as Ubisoft, Bethesda, Capcom, Sega, Codemasters and Plug In Digital to smooth out the transition process of running game sessions on their services, as well as continuing support for multiplayer elements and cloud saves.

hm.. its means, hat they already have parthnership with all this company? Or only planning working with them?
This is the most gigants in gaming industry...  Shocked

Playkey has partnerships with all major publishers. They support us and agreed on using their games in the service. Playkey expands gaming user base - win-win for all.

These partnerships are amazing for Playkey! Are they just here to advice you or will they also invest money in your project? If this is the case I could imagine there won't be much tokens left for us small investors?
Not to play the devil's advocate but how can we verify this partnership cos I can't find anything on twitter or Facebook.  Embarrassed sorry that's where I get my news. yes am ashamed:) Anyway, this will be a good investment, if this info is verifiable. Nothing against the playkey team but I been feed so much bs in the crypto space that I have proudly turned into Judas. I need to be able to verify things before believing and shilling it.
Don't be so apologetic and don't be ashamed, nothing they've said can be verified, you're not alone.

The documentation guy can have my moneros, good call.

Oh I see so you're more of a black belt consultant

You are so fun! :-)
If only you knew what you are talking about.
I am a consultant who has been coding opensource crypto software (wallets, miners, etc.) since 2013. And opensource in general for more than 20 years.

Gary is a dumbass, not just a asshole. I guess they usually go hand in hand.

There is something to be said about how some of you developers don't really do anything until you're trying to stick it to SP though. That's the only time I see things really move around here. There is definitely something to be said about there being plenty of algos to either make a GPU miner for or optimize and you guys always pick the same one SP does to dump shit on. It's silly that you guys are more motivated by spite then by money.

You should ask why the coin developers create a "new pow algorythm" just by shuffling the same old algos. Then they tell you it's "more efficient", "new generation" or other shit.
If you guys stopped mining and buying those useless clone coins, the "dev race" would be over in a second.
Personally I'm not in a race with sp_, I do what I find more fun and rewarding. I've worked on countless algos that sp_ never touched; I just don't talk about them here.

At least sp_ releases way more stuff than you.

Came here just to spew unsolicited insults at me? You're a bigger asshole than me then, and you know quite well what goes hand in hand with it.
